A fountain could make it more attractive and would be a nice addition.
10/12/2024
Terrible. Urgent care is terrible. The urgent care receptionists are more interested in socializing than helping patients. They call people based on how they feel rather than the order they arrived. Service has declined sharply. I transferred to University for better service. I sat for over an hour.
12/11/2024
The staff behind the desk are very rude. I have visited urgent care here twice. The first time, over a year ago, I checked in in person. I waited over an hour, and from her reaction I am 99% sure she never actually checked me in. More recently, I checked in online for urgent care. Someone was at the desk outside urgent care, but they never said anything to me. I repeatedly checked my phone for further instructions or whether I also needed to check in in person. There were none. No one else was waiting, so I sat there for another hour. The desk attendant left, and another patient entered the exam area, which I had previously found empty. I asked whether she had spoken to anyone, and she said she had to wait for the person at the outside desk to return. That person was gone for 10-15 minutes. When I entered the room, the women at the desk 1. did not even open the sliding window to speak to me and 2. sat at the desk on their phones and talking to each other. The person I spoke with insisted that I had to check in with the front-desk attendant. I wanted to know why she had never spoken to me when she saw me sitting and waiting. There was no sign saying that online check-in still required in-person check-in. When the attendant returned, I told her this two-step check-in had never been communicated, and she was clearly annoyed. I had waited an hour and am almost certain no one was actually back there, because I was called back as soon as I checked in. The nurse who took my vitals was not very pleasant, though not as rude. The PA was nice but brief; she looked rushed and tired. I have also gone there for bloodwork, and the front-desk employee was very rude to everyone she helped. Fortunately, I barely had to interact with her, but she was clearly interested only in doing the bare minimum. The nurse who drew my blood was lovely. These people seem to expect you to know exactly how everything works. The public can be foolish, and I am good at figuring things out myself, but I cannot stress enough that nothing indicated I needed to do anything beyond checking in online. I even spoke to a front-desk employee who asked whether I had checked in. I said I had checked in online; she said okay and directed me to urgent care. I did not ask again because I did not want to be an annoyance. I apparently need to get over that and risk seeming impatient, because I have wasted too much time here either because they did not do their jobs or because the check-in instructions were never communicated clearly enough. I have also visited the breast center here. The PA I met was excellent, and I think the first nurse was kind. The staff behind the counter did not seem welcoming, but when I had to speak with them, they were polite though curt. I am 26 and work in food service. I understand that people can be annoying and difficult, but this environment at least requires a willingness to help and some kindness. I will avoid this urgent care from now on.

We waited 45 minutes past our appointment time and finally left.
11/09/2024
I use their lab and always schedule an appointment. There was still a wait this time, but it was not as long as without an appointment. Schedule one! Update: The lab is being renovated. They are currently reviewing each patient's information in the hallway, with no attempt to protect privacy. This needs to change!

Very friendly and compassionate staff. God bless these people for helping others at far less cost than lawyers and others. The botanical garden downstairs is wonderful, and the art on the walls is museum quality. The atmosphere is truly comfortable.
08/02/2025
This is not about the clinic; it is about valet parking. The man managing the service was wonderful! However, it is cash only, and there is no sign telling you this when you use the valet. When I came out, I had $2 for the valet and planned to charge the rest. The man was very kind and accepted my $2 because I had no other cash, saying this happens often! Either his company or the clinic needs to put up a sign stating that valet parking is cash only!

An "excellent" clinic choice if your main goal is to waste time. This place follows outdated processes and has no idea what customer service should look like in this millennium. Instructions and communication are extremely unclear. For example, the doctor orders laboratory tests, and you receive a MyChart message saying the order was placed and giving a number to schedule the tests. One phone number, with no online option or app, as though MyChart had never been invented. Weeks later, when you are ready, you call and wait more than 30 minutes; my shortest wait was 36 minutes. When they finally answer, all they tell you is to call again within 5 days because they need insurance clearance. They do not start this process until you call. They are "sorry" about the long wait, but you must do it again. No, the process cannot begin automatically when the doctor places the order; you must call to initiate it. Of course, none of these supposed "instructions" tells you to call immediately to begin financial clearance. They apparently put more effort into the appearance of the indoor garden than into providing world-class patient service. Complete and constant frustration.

After being injured at work, I saw a specialist. Good luck reaching the doctor who treats you, and good luck getting them to listen when you explain what caused the injury. I told them what caused mine and that I was working, but they did not listen and tried to say that was not the cause.
07/05/2025
I received excellent care here today! Nurse Angela was very kind. I wish I remembered the names of the other excellent medical team members, but they were extremely helpful and friendly. It felt like the adult version of Akron Children's Hospital. I hope I never need surgery again, but I would go there.
26/04/2025
Still one of the most beautiful locations, and they have a DiGiorno pizza machine. After fasting for 12 hours, it was wonderful!
18/04/2025
I came here because my son was referred. The ENT doctor was no help. Dr. Timming looked at my son briefly and said he only had a canker sore, which was not true, as we had already seen 6 other doctors who could not diagnose him. It was terrible and a waste of time, and he rudely said that if I wanted to waste time getting a seventh opinion, I should go ahead. I am glad I did not listen! My son was then seen at MetroHealth, received real help, and was finally diagnosed. You need to listen to patients better. 👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼

My mother had surgery on Monday, and the staff here were heaven-sent!!! We were treated like royalty! Smiles, care, attention, comfort—everything!! Janet, Lindsey, Fanning, and the AA woman who helped my mother walk to the restroom were angels on earth!! Starting with receptionist Kristen, every staff member set the tone for our experience that day! Absolutely wonderful!!! I cannot remember the name of the young woman who helped Janet take my mother to the restroom. I remember she was surrounded by a family of LEOS! 😂😂❤️ Please tell her and everyone else how grateful we are and that we thank God for them! It was already nerve-racking outside, but they truly made us feel everything would be all right!! To the Beechwood operating room staff, may God bless you and heaven smile upon you! I pray blessings and prosperity come to you! CC Beechwood is unmatched!

I just had major surgery, and every nurse, including my surgeon, was incredibly kind. They were genuinely helpful and wonderful! Thank you so much!
14/10/2025
The fertility department was extremely rude on the morning of my procedure. They completely ruined what should have been a positive experience. On the day of the procedure, apart from a woman named Erin, the nursing staff had no clinical bedside manner. Good luck finding a fertility doctor who supports you, regardless of your circumstances and age. My fertility doctor's prediction in New York turned out to be wrong. I retrieved more eggs than she had pessimistically told me I would. Dr. Mahr described my situation very harshly. I did not feel comfortable speaking openly with her. Her words broke my heart. These people think they know how many eggs your body will produce, but in my case they knew nothing.🙏🏼 The office nurses are also consistently slow to return calls. The more you call, the more they ignore you. This department needs much stronger customer service and patient support.

I have had multiple ultrasound appointments here and no matter what the wait time has been so long every single time. In general, I have good experience with Cleveland Clinic but looks like the ultrasound department here is run differently. The first time I had an ultrasound appointment, I waited for over an hour and once I was called and mentioned the wait time, the technician reacted very rude. Since then I am just silent…. Very bad experience EVERY SINGLE TIME!!!

The staff here are wonderful and caring. I appreciate their professionalism, but even more their kindness and consideration, which are rare today.

Pediatric scheduling is terrible. This is our second visit, and they still could not accommodate my baby. We will not return. Awful.

My physician, Dr. Bryant, is fine, but her nurse Jennifer is not. Jennifer is cold, lacks empathy and compassion, and cannot answer questions. She may not be suited to communicating with patients after pregnancy loss.

The medical care deserves the international top ratings it receives, but the administrative operation is abysmal. A call to your physician's office passes from a call center to a scheduling center. A disinterested operator offers an appointment several months away. Calls are frequently dropped, forcing you to call back and start over. A message to the doctor is placed in an email inbox that the intended recipient may never see. A call from a remote call-center nurse who knows nothing about you or your case is considered follow-up. The MyChart app is a black hole where communication goes to die. Administrators view patients as billable entities to be exploited at their convenience. Doctors, you are letting the tail wag the dog.

I have been a Cleveland Clinic Foundation patient for many years and always pay my bills promptly after insurance claims are processed. I have never carried a balance and take my financial responsibilities seriously. Because I have osteoporosis, my rheumatologist recommends a preventive bone density scan every two years. My insurance has always covered this test in full. This year, however, I was asked to prepay $350 simply to complete online pre-check-in. I contacted Medical Mutual, and they advised me not to pay because this type of test has always been fully covered. My current Cleveland Clinic account balance is $0. I am concerned that the clinic has begun requiring prepayment from patients with reliable payment histories and active insurance. This creates unnecessary stress and raises concerns about access to care, particularly when a condition worsens and timely testing is needed. As a healthy single person who pays more than $5,000 annually for health insurance, this experience is frustrating and disappointing. Preventive care should be encouraged, not complicated by unclear or premature billing practices. I hope this policy will be reconsidered to protect patients in good standing.

The parking is a complete joke. I have struggled with it my entire life.

After speaking with the ombudsman, I felt compelled to share this. I went to Beachwood Family Health Center and saw a girl sitting in the lobby on her phone. Ironically, she went to kindergarten and high school with me and was always someone who avoided work. The ombudsman said everyone defines “work” differently, which I found absurd. She also said every employee is called a “caregiver.” Apparently, that includes people playing on their phones. The employee’s name is Julia Sicanda. We attended kindergarten and high school together. I messaged her on Facebook to tell her how rude she was because she and the woman at the podium were both standing with their arms crossed. She said the clinic might blacklist me. All of this happened because I took a photo of her on her phone while she was not working. The irony is that this was supposedly a “privacy violation,” yet it was not considered a privacy violation when the woman at the podium loudly announced the reason for my visit. Even though I spoke quietly and expressed my embarrassment, she still said it loudly in front of everyone in the lobby. I will not return to that express care center. The physician assistant I saw last time was excellent, but I cannot tolerate being disrespected. This was not my first such experience either. I have reported these issues as many times as possible in the hope that someone will take notice. The only reason I still visit that clinic is because my family doctor is excellent. However, the front desk staff in family medicine are just as ignorant as the two people in express care.

The nursing staff and doctors are unreliable. They do no preparation before procedures, do not listen to patients, act as they please without regard for patients’ feelings or needs, and are inconsistent and even abusive.

Dr. Brown is amazing! He and his team have truly been a tremendous help to my father.

24/06/2026
If you are considering this general practice, I urge you to think twice. I have been a patient here for more than 25 years, but the quality of care has steadily declined. The staff are not only extremely rude, but also never call proactively or respond to messages. I had no problems until last year. Even when the nurses' office or other staff occasionally return my calls, which is rare, they are extremely rude and disrespectful.
19/01/2025
I waited 4 hours, while people who arrived an hour and a half after me were seen before me. When I was giving the nurse my information and explaining the personal reason I was there, she left the door open, showing absolutely no consideration. I was already nervous to begin with, but I am glad everyone now knows my business!
05/01/2025
My dentist sent me to the emergency room because my blood pressure was extremely high. They measured it there, and it was even higher than it had been at the dentist. So what was the treatment? They made me wait in the lobby for 4 hours. I asked the woman at the front desk to check it again to see whether it had decreased. They did not seem very interested, but they did check it. It was even higher, so surely they would take me back? Wrong. They sent me back to wait in the lobby. I asked around, and one person had already been waiting more than 6 hours. They kept acting as though such high blood pressure was serious, but did nothing. So after 4 hours, we left. Clearly, they were not concerned. I will never return and would not recommend this place to anyone.
04/01/2025
I come here for laboratory work, and it is always a great experience. At my most recent visit, Kingsley checked me in. He was very kind and professional!
18/11/2024
I will say it again: Do not come here for any blood work. I try about once a year, thinking they must have improved since my last visit, right? No, it is always the same. The check-in process is complicated and the wait is close to an hour, even with a scheduled appointment. Never again.

Akron General Health and Wellness Center, Bath, Ohio. 4125 Medina Road This location is extremely disappointing for Cleveland Clinic. The overall tone of the employees is unhappy, regardless of whom you speak with. I would not want to be on the second floor in the middle of the building if there were a fire. I am not even claustrophobic, yet that building made me feel that way. Room 201. The orthopedic reception area truly needs help. Why am I giving you my money in such a rushed atmosphere at 1:30 on a Thursday afternoon? I completed everything required online, yet was still asked to pay again and write all my information by hand on three pages. I told her I had already completed all of it online. She said, “You look like the type who could not do that”⁉️ What the F does that mean? Cleveland Clinic, stop profiling people in the orthopedic reception area. My folder was right there. Learn about patients before they arrive. Read! While you are sitting there doing nothing. I will never return. You could not pay me to enter this building! Work there? Never! The entire place smells. Like a subway...get rid of it. It is ridiculous. When you finally enter the driveway from the west side of Medina Rd, there is no “address” anywhere on the back of the building‼️ The back is where it is needed, not on the front facing Medina Road. You cannot see it from the driveway where the Shaw building is on your left. This location desperately needs the address on the back of the building to make sure you are going to the correct building... and do not pass it for the newer Cleveland Clinic Shaw building next door. When you enter the parking area from the side street, you can easily pass the entire building with no address, and before you know it, you are at the newer Cleveland Clinic Shaw building. You know...not everyone is from this area. There is only a small sign. I will post a photo, and it does not even have the “street number” on it⁉️ What the heck, CC... I did not find the address until the final moment as “I was leaving.” It was on the building, facing Medina Road. Seen after the appointment⁉️ The letters may be 5” x 5” times four, on a huge brick wall. ...There is a small sign at the back, and it also has no address #. 👉🏽 See photo. The entire experience was “no, thank you,” and I will not return. There are many doctors and locations/better buildings, people, and buildings with street numbers. The atmosphere inside this building is extremely strange and uncomfortable‼️ Look at the reviews for Cleveland Clinic Edwin Shaw. That is the new building next to this one. The difference in reviews is enormous‼️

I am writing this from a bed in the emergency room. I did not wait even one minute to be taken back after finishing at the front desk. All the staff were wonderful, and I am glad I came here instead of the main Akron General, where I might have waited hours to be seen. It sounds as though Friday and Saturday nights and Sunday mornings are usually not very busy.

I went to the emergency room with severe lower-back pain and radiating pain down my right leg from sciatica. I could barely walk or sit. My boyfriend and I waited four hours before seeing a nurse, who only took my blood pressure and sent me back to the waiting room. We told the receptionist and nurse that I urgently needed to lie down because I was in so much pain. They were severely understaffed, and apparently all beds were full. Yet a woman who arrived with her child was taken directly to a room. Did my pain not count as serious? I have a history of blood clots and did not know whether this could be another one. I finally left because standing in pain had exhausted me. I will never seek care here again.
22/10/2025
There may be a wait here, but compared with larger hospitals, it is faster, cleaner, and more personal. I have visited twice. On my most recent visit, I arrived at 4:30 p.m. and left by 7:30 p.m. after blood tests and receiving a prescription. The staff were friendly and professional, and I felt cared for during both visits. I would like to give five stars, but I rarely do. If a third visit goes well, perhaps I will give them five stars.

Retired physician Jenny Bodner treated only symptoms and attempted to harm me medically. I began care there in 2021 and discovered in 2025 that she had not treated my infection while they sought additional insurance-funded appointments.

First, I want to say that Cleveland Clinic has completely fallen apart. It is unfortunate because it was once an outstanding institution that provided first-rate care. Things are very different now. It is no better than other healthcare organizations and barely functions properly. Scheduling is terrible, and reaching a doctor is extremely difficult. If you need to contact a doctor, it is nearly impossible—but I do want to leave a positive review for the Bath location. I have had several MRIs, blood tests, and other scans. Everyone in radiology has been excellent. I have no complaints. The laboratory's blood draw department is also first-rate. I have had terrible experiences at Quest and elsewhere, but this clinic's blood draw department does an excellent job. Overall, Cleveland Clinic has declined. The state of healthcare in the United States is disheartening. Cleveland Clinic has been so disappointing that I do not even have time to review it fully. However, I want to recognize everyone in radiology and phlebotomy at the Bath location. You are amazing, and you know who you are. Thank you for all you do.

I like the E.R. it's fast, clean, and efficient

This is the reality of Obamacare. The reviews say it all. I would not even bring my rabbit here.
01/04/2026
The imaging department is terrible. I will never return to this hospital in Bath. I wanted a scan copied to a disc, and they told me I had to go downtown. Other hospitals can do this on-site. And it is now day 7, but the CT scan results are still pending? Are all your radiologists on vacation?
23/03/2026
Today I encountered shockingly rude behavior!!! Wow!! The front desk receptionist was an older woman named Bonnie in Suite 215 of the family practice building. She needs customer service training. She was extremely rude, impolite, and impatient. People working in a hospital should show compassion and empathy—I did not ask to be sick!!!! I will contact hospital headquarters. Bonnie, improve your service or find another job!!

I like Cleveland Clinic and the pharmacy. They are very helpful, and the facility is clean. However, the line is very long. I arrived on a Saturday, and it extended to the emergency department. Several people left because it was not moving. Only one pharmacy technician was checking out customers, taking an average of 10 minutes per person. I have never experienced anything like it. If you plan to use this pharmacy, expect to wait about 1 hour.
16/12/2024
15/11/2024
Angela at the pharmacy was very pleasant. My daughter left something behind, and she even called to tell me! She did not have to do that. Overall, we always receive good customer service. We occasionally have to wait because prescriptions are generally used within the next 24 hours, but I have used this pharmacy for more than 2.5 years and have never seen more than one person working. I have waited 45 minutes, which is excessive because I usually have my children with me.

They are nice, but I question their competence. My order is wrong every month, and they never seem able to get it right. They try to correct it and make another mistake. I do not trust them much. I hope my medication is correct this time.
21/02/2026
I never have to wait long for my prescriptions. The staff is friendly and helpful!

A group of incompetent, rude people answering the phones.

I have been in the emergency department for over 8 hours. The police were mean and rude to a young woman and were very unprofessional.

After months of my sister's and her family's time and $$$ were wasted with another poor cardiology group in WNY—and we felt her care was going in circles—we decided to arrange an appointment with Cleveland Clinic Cardiology. The appointment was scheduled quickly. I cannot say enough about their caring, attentive approach, from our first phone contact through the CC information desk, radiology testing, staff meetings, and the doctor's visit! We were impressed by the doctor's concern, appointment timing, review of the care plan, agreement to begin two new medications to improve heart function, and follow-up scheduling. The schedule for her next CC visit is: preliminary blood results completed in New York State and faxed, then at CC an ECG at 10:30, an echocardiogram at 11:00, an appointment with the cardiology heart-failure team at 12:45 p.m., an EP team appointment at 2:45, and finally follow-up with “her” Dr. at 4:00 to discuss the future care plan. That is how it should be done! Cleveland Clinic cares 100% about its patients, their health concerns, timely care, and appointment scheduling. They are patient advocates. Thank you for setting an example in healthcare❤️ Please recognize this caring team of medical professionals.

My mother was a patient on the 8th floor of Building G. She killed several of them, and several others escaped. They ran across the floor and into the baseboards. A nurse was aware and said, “We know; it is part of nature.” My mother repeatedly said how uncomfortable and anxious she felt. Nothing was done. Absolutely disgusting. The lack of concern about this issue is appalling. What are they? How do you know they will not spread disease? How can you be one of the best hospitals if you do not listen to patients' concerns?

I used a wheelchair to reach my family member’s room and parked it outside because the room was too small to bring it in. Apparently, “transportation” thought it was not being used and took it away. It took an hour to get another one, and only after I asked to speak with the nurse manager. My family member’s room was cold, with extremely cold air blowing from the window vent. 🥶 It felt as though the air conditioning was on instead of the heat. This was January 24. When we asked the care staff in the room about it, they said, “Yes, it is always too cold or too hot.” This was in Building H, by the way. There were no blankets available either! My family was freezing. Finally, when we left, we used valet parking, but they misplaced my car. Somehow, the wrong ticket had been placed on my car because it did not match my claim stub. That took another hour. This was my first time visiting anyone at Cleveland Clinic. Thankfully, most of my friends and family go to MetroHealth.

Sandra in Administrative Services was friendly and helpful and put a smile on my face. This showed me that the “world-class care” trademark applies to more than Cleveland Clinic’s medical providers. Sandra, your parents should be proud, because your kind heart is inspiring. God bless you. —Mike Chupp

Cleveland Clinic is a nonprofit academic medical center in Cleveland, Ohio, known for patient care, research, and education. Founded in 1921 by faculty and alumni of Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine, it has grown into a global healthcare system. Its main campus covers 170 acres in Cleveland, and the organization operates 14 affiliated hospitals and 20 family health centers in Northeast Ohio. Its international operations include facilities in Florida, Nevada, Abu Dhabi, Canada, and London. The clinic consistently ranks among the leading hospitals in the United States, particularly in cardiology and heart surgery. In the 2020-2021 U.S. News & World Report rankings, it was named the second-best hospital in the country and had held the top position in cardiology and heart surgery for more than two decades. Cleveland Clinic is affiliated with Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine and operates Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine, which focuses on training physician-investigators. It is also a teaching hospital for Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine and Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine. The institution publishes the peer-reviewed Cleveland Clinic Journal of Medicine, providing clinicians with practical information to improve patient care. In 2024, the Cleveland Cavaliers broke ground on the Cleveland Clinic Global Peak Performance Center, a state-of-the-art training facility in downtown Cleveland scheduled to open in 2027. The facility will provide advanced testing services and training equipment for professional athletes and the public. The main Cleveland Clinic is wonderful. The doctors are excellent, and the care I received was excellent! The other Cleveland Clinic branches are completely different from the main clinic. The people working at those smaller branches are not friendly at all. They lie and treat patients terribly. I would give those ordinary locations 2 stars, but the main Cleveland Clinic deserves 5+ stars.
30/01/2025
I appreciate how thoroughly Cleveland Clinic listens, unlike my local doctors. The 3-hour drive is always worthwhile when I need answers or a second opinion. Please never change.

The staff and Dr. Neka were wonderful. I am very pleased with the results. I walked in without an appointment. My visit took 5 hours, but it clearly states that the wait may be 8 hours.
12/02/2025
Is Cleveland Clinic the most woke hospital in America? “They prioritize care based on skin color. Perform gender transitions on children. Promote transgender ideology to vulnerable children. Incorporate DEI into everything they do.”
12/02/2025
Wonderful staff. The environment is clean, comfortable, and welcoming.
20/02/2025
I recently had a cardiac MRI here. The process was easy, and I now have the correct diagnosis.
19/02/2025
Since when do medical facilities make political statements? This is sick! The image is a little difficult to read, but it says, “Stop injecting woke politics into patient care,” so I suppose that if you are liberal or “woke,” they do not truly want to care for you. If they vote against the current administration, you cannot say that you care about patients! Sick, sick, sick!!!!
19/02/2025
Do not believe the hype! I was very disappointed with an institution that is supposed to be one of the best in the country. Once you look past the bells and whistles, such as the massive cardiac facility and concierge service for international patients, you quickly realize that this hospital system is little different from other hospital systems. It is simply excellent at publicizing and marketing its exceptional past and current achievements. Those achievements were produced by a very small number of people. In other words, like other hospitals, this hospital also lacks excellent doctors. They are simply good at marketing the accomplishments of a few exceptional doctors who are the exception rather than the norm. Be aware that you may not be able to see these outstanding doctors because they are in high demand. Instead, you may be assigned to less-skilled doctors who are no different from ordinary local specialists. I dealt with cardiology, specifically electrophysiology. The staff and allied health team were wonderful; they were outstanding. However, the EP I saw was poorly organized, not thorough, and, contrary to what the cardiac scheduling staff advertised, did not manage complex arrhythmias. His knowledge and approach were very limited and did not include any extensive investigation, such as reviewing QRS morphology from previous events or clues from earlier and current imaging. He did exactly what I have seen average, overloaded EPs do: (1) focus on the main symptom that fits his skill set and (2) ignore acute symptoms outside his expertise while relying heavily on medication instead of investigating the underlying cause. He was not interested in addressing the root cause of the disease or its progression, preferring treatments that manage symptoms while hoping they do not immediately worsen. This almost guarantees that I will return for more acute and extensive services once the disease progresses. What a good revenue model. I strongly recommend that you (A) conduct extensive research and identify doctors with the skills not only to “treat” you but to truly cure you or find and address the root cause of your condition before visiting this hospital, (B) confirm that the doctor can actually see you and is available, and (C), most importantly, ensure that the doctor is thorough, which is largely the exception. Why? It takes time and effort for which they may not be financially rewarded. Otherwise, you are wasting your time and money. Simply see a local specialist. Do not let scheduling staff randomly choose a doctor or specialist based on availability. Doctors with greater availability often tend to be the least effective or least thorough, hence their open schedules. Bottom line: do not believe the hype. Do your homework!

Communication here is terrible. I have been sitting here for hours waiting while my boyfriend has an echocardiogram and then another test. What is going on? No one has come to update me; he has had to text me himself. This is extremely frustrating.
23/02/2025
Apart from the neurosurgeon who saved my life, Cleveland Clinic Hospital is only interested in research. I was treated like a laboratory rat! After I raised serious complaints, their ombudsman dismissed me as a patient. Then it became clear: a physical therapist joked, “After working here for at least ten years, my student loans will be paid off!” That may explain their retention. Cleveland Clinic repays clinical staff's student loan debt after a period of “fair,” or at worst poor and dismissive, treatment. I was often mistreated by physical therapists, nurses, or doctors who behaved like drones. [Cleveland Clinic has several campuses in Ohio. Choose one.]

I expected high-quality care. Very disappointed. My experience was exactly the opposite! The factory healthcare model in action. What happened to caring? To add insult to injury, they actually charge $10 to $20 for parking. I guess they do not have enough money already?
18/07/2025
If you're going here, I suspect you have an apoointment. The goid news - The Clinic positions numerous red coated personnel to provide information and assistance.
15/07/2025
It is the No. 2 hospital system in the United States and No. 1 in Ohio. What more is there to say?
15/07/2025
In 2023, I took my son to the hospital for a movement disorder. The doctors did not know what to do and told me I had to return to New York to see a doctor. They had no compassion and treated you like a number.
14/07/2025
Over the past year, I drove from my home near Philadelphia to the hospital five times for evaluation and treatment of tricuspid regurgitation. On two of those occasions, I spent several days in the hospital and was ultimately discharged without anything being done because of scheduling confusion among cardiology, the catheterization laboratory, and the operating room. My last discharge without treatment was in June, and I still have not heard from anyone about what I should do next. I have tried calling but have only been brushed off. It is extremely frustrating! The process for scheduling patients for tests and same-day appointments is very good. I do not understand what changes once they actually admit you. Waiting in the hospital for 11 days, only to have the procedure canceled at the last minute because it was scheduled in the catheterization laboratory rather than the operating room, is unacceptable. It wastes everyone's time and money!
11/07/2025
Do not admit your child here if you do not want them to receive any help. I admitted my daughter for treatment of feeding intolerance, but not to receive help. My daughter, my entire family, and I experienced racial discrimination, and someone called Child Protective Services (CPS) based on false allegations. Please do not admit your child or children here.

Thank you for saving... Dad's life—Mr. Patel! He recently had his annual checkup for signs of colon cancer♋, but nothing was found... At his last examination, he had an oral endoscopy to check for signs of oral cancer. His appointment lasted from morning until afternoon. They went together for dinner, brunch, or lunch. This really matters!!! Her mother, my mom, and I waited in the waiting room for her dear husband until he woke from the anesthesia and everything seemed back to normal. A few days later, we drove more than 10 hours through North Carolina to another hotel in Georgia. Suddenly, he had to lie down in the hotel lobby, his face shaking... eyes fixed on the ceiling and mouth wide open. It was frightening, and I could not tell whether it was a reaction to the medication💊 or one of the following🛑: signs of a stroke, seizure, heart attack, cardiac arrest, or something else causing the reaction. The paramedics and police should have rushed over, but instead delayed on the phone asking many questions!😕🤳📱 Life and death can change in an instant 🫴☠️ Daughter (eldest daughter) -BKP
25/07/2025
Why is this place so dirty? You would think a world-renowned hospital could pay for cleaners. The waiting area was filthy and covered in crumbs. The surgical check-in area was small, crowded, short on seats, and dirty and disorganized. Disgusting.
25/07/2025
Poor communication and terrible customer service.
23/07/2025
I would say this is by far the worst hospital and the worst experience, full of lies and fabrications. I woke up with a concussion and three fractures in my skull, and now no one cares. All of you are lying, truly.
21/07/2025
These people are supposed to be professionals who care about others. I had tests with 11 (!!!) abnormal findings, yet everything was supposedly fine. The medication they prescribed did nothing, and I do not believe I had a condition requiring medication. They also refused to bill my insurance company! Overall, this place is terrible. Stay away from pancreatic/liver disease specialist Sara S. She is a joke and will treat you as though you do not matter!

My experience trying to obtain a sleep study kit, follow-up, and an actual CPAP machine has been terrible. I started in April. They gave me 7 different numbers for the home-testing department and canceled the order the day it arrived before I finally obtained testing and a diagnosis through my doctor. A CPAP order was then sent, but I heard nothing for weeks. My messages went unanswered. After persistent effort, I finally spoke with a representative 2 months later. They told me to ask my doctor to send the order to a competitor and, when I requested the phone number, told me to Google it. Is this the advertised “world-class care”? People travel from around the world for service this poor? I live less than an hour away and honestly cannot imagine worse service.

Maia was our sonographer. She did excellent work and was patient with my husband and me. She also followed all HIPPA requirements closely. I felt comfortable, safe, and happy to enjoy the good news with peace of mind!

This is the worst hospital I have ever visited. They do not tell families the truth. After a patient is brain-dead, the hospital keeps them on a ventilator for days. What happened to my niece was inhumane. I would not take my dog to this hospital. The best hospital in America? What a joke!!

Cleveland Clinic is a luxurious facility designed for patients. They have nearly every top-quality medical resource needed to support your health and well-being. My respect goes to the Cleveland Clinic staff, who make it a wonderful place for patients, families, and the entire Cleveland community.
24/08/2025
I would like to sincerely thank the Cleveland Clinic pediatric staff for the outstanding care they provided during our recent visit. Every visit is rewarding, and the experience is unmatched. The staff are always helpful, caring, and compassionate. From the doctors and nurses to the care assistants, everyone is truly a blessing. If there is any way to recognize their dedication, they absolutely deserve it. Our hospital visits over the years have always been positive, and management clearly continues to put patients and families first, creating an uplifting environment that truly makes a difference. As the caregiver of my autistic younger brother, thank you for going above and beyond to help us and for changing our lives.
05/09/2025
They have become one of the worst hospitals in the Cleveland area.
05/09/2025
I want to take this opportunity to thank the entire Cleveland Clinic team. From security and valet staff to those giving directions in the halls, the women at the duty desk, and especially the pediatric anesthesia recovery staff and Dr. Ernest Young in orthopedics—everyone was wonderful. My son had surgery, and the entire process was quick, smooth, and compassionate. There were no long waits, only kindness, professionalism, and clear communication. We sincerely appreciate how well you cared for our family.

I rushed my father to ER because he was fainting from his pace maker shocking him. He was quickly admitted, but didn't see a cardiologist until the next morning! Day 2, the cardiologist introduced herself to my father's roommate, thinking he was my father. Day 3, dad is still in ICU, but stable. Cardiologist diagnosis was that dad needed a new pace maker because his heart had deteriorated. Day 4, I arrived at 9am to chaos in his room and red lights flashing. He'd had another heart attack right there in ICU because the nurse was ordered to remove him from all of his IV meds. So the nurse did. But didn't replace any medication in any form. Can you imagine being taken off of all your IVs and medication and being thrown into a heart attack, in Cleveland Clinic, in ICU. He was shocked with the paddles, given life-saving medication and CPR. The cardiologist blamed the nurse and vice versa. They stabilized him again by putting him back on the IVs. He was sweating, breathing heavily and clearly in so much pain from the heart attack.

The level of care at Cleveland Clinic facilities in Akron Ohio has deteriorated! I waited 4 months for much needed colon surgery at Akron General which my primary care doctor said caused me to get a life threatening blood clot. I was told they had a shortage of doctors and I would just have to wait. In my opinion, the CEO is more concerned with profits and purchasing more and more hospitals and private physician practices. As a result, the quality of care is suffering. Supposedly, it’s a nonprofit organization, yet the CEO is paid over $4 million annually. Again, my opinion, but Cleveland Clinic is now just all about the $$$. There was a time when it was a patient first organization. Very unfortunate…
03/09/2025
Summa/Cleveland ruined my life... They treat symptoms rather than causes. They are here to collect insurance payments, not make you better. The distorted healthcare system has completely collapsed.
14/09/2025
I don't live in America and had never seen or visited this hospital before, but it looks like a good hospital. I definitely recommend it, especially Dr. Steven.
13/09/2025
Have been going to Cleveland Clinic for over 25 years, will not go anywhere else, best care possible!
13/09/2025
In my opinion, this is much better than the specialty care offered by UPMC. What sets Cleveland Clinic apart from other hospitals is that they provide a quote before the procedure. Yes—they tell you exactly how much a test/procedure will cost before you have it. That seems...obvious—but other hospitals seem to prefer sending you a large, unexpected bill after your visit.

Unable to schedule an appointment. I spent 30 minutes on the phone and was transferred to multiple offices without knowing who any of them were. I simply wanted to schedule an appointment with my family doctor’s personal assistant. I called the number they provided in MyChart. This level of service is unacceptable.
10/10/2025
The best spine surgery and postoperative care.
09/10/2025
My wife spent six weeks in the hospital with a severe, life-threatening illness. We will always be grateful for Sherry's treatment and professional care. She is now recovering after 140 days of ongoing hospital treatment. I believe combining a scientific approach with medical practice made this possible.

04/10/2025
They took excellent care of me during surgery and my hospital stay, ensuring I was comfortable and had enough food. The surgery went well, and my recovery has had no problems so far. Highly recommended.
04/10/2025
I waited over a month for an EMG appointment. Today they called and said my doctor, Ramazzo, had submitted the wrong order and I would have to wait at least another month and a half to reschedule. It feels as though my life and health do not matter. Cleveland Clinic has caused problems since my injury, including doctors treating me terribly. Go elsewhere if you can.
30/10/2025
If you value a doctor who makes your health the highest priority, Dr. Lascano is an excellent choice. He played a vital role in my weight-loss and LDL-cholesterol reduction plan. I greatly appreciate his patience and ability to explain complex issues clearly. Thank you, Dr. Lascano!
29/10/2025
This is the last place in the world to entrust with your family. If they arrive mildly ill, they will leave worse because of the lack of care and an ineffective ombudsman. Go elsewhere, where people will truly care about you.
28/10/2025
The doctors are excellent, but their billing practices border on fraud. They charge more than the insurance explanation of benefits and then make you spend hours dealing with the insurer. This has happened twice. The first time I assumed it was an error; the second established a pattern. I reported it to the Ohio Attorney General's Office.
26/10/2025
In September 2020, I moved from Phoenix to Cleveland for treatment at Cleveland Clinic when it appeared I might need a heart transplant. They managed to keep me off the list for five years. In fall 2025, the time came again. I am working with the clinic to qualify for a heart transplant. I do not regret selling everything in Phoenix and moving somewhere all my doctors, specialists, and cardiologists are under one roof—or many buildings under one umbrella. You know what I mean.
25/10/2025
I ordered a salad with dressing and a cookie. The salad was fresh and came with two dressings, which was perfect. The cookie was missing, so we had to return for it. Overall, ordering online and picking up at a busy medical facility was a good experience.
21/11/2025
They treated my family and me very well during my mother's transplant evaluation.
21/11/2025
Not recommended. The clinic charged me fraudulently, forcing me to file a dispute with my bank and request an investigation.
20/11/2025
They should post a sign saying, "We do not accept white men over age 35."
20/11/2025
My experience with CCF has never deserved more than one star. It calls itself a nonprofit, but every time I feel they are only trying to take my money and pressure me into unnecessary medical tests or procedures, refusing service otherwise. I avoid going there whenever possible.

Back in 2022/2023 I was referred to Dr. Hopkins due to my unborn daughter being diagnosed with a rare condition. When meeting with Dr. Hopkins throughout my pregnancy he always greeted with a smile, answered all questions I had, and went out of his way to ensure I knew the process of absolutely everything my daughter would have to go through once she was born. Fast forward to now, he continues to always great my daughter and I with positivity, smiles and warmth! We continue to follow-up with him even though my driving distance is almost 3 hours long (1-way) if that doesn’t show how much of an amazing surgeon and doctor he is then I don’t know what would! My daughter and I can’t thank him enough for everything he’s done for her and getting her to where she is now!
14/12/2025
Make sure your insurance fully covers all costs, or you may receive an additional bill. Cleveland Clinic is a world-class medical institution.
12/12/2025
12/12/2025
Cleveland Clinic does not accept my current insurance, so they will not let me schedule an appointment. I am changing to insurance they accept on January 1, 2026, but they still will not let me schedule in advance. Do they not want new patients? This is incredibly frustrating.
10/12/2025
I would give zero stars if I could, but that is not an option. I was sent here from Columbus for surgery, and my postoperative experience has been terrible. Everyone was kind when I arrived on December 4, and surgery went well on Friday the 5th. But everything deteriorated after I was admitted to unit H50. Most of the nurses here are cold, uncaring, and extremely rude. I do not remember the first night because I was heavily medicated, but I had to beg staff for medication and help. Thank God my daughter stayed in my room that night because no one would help me. I do not understand how they can call themselves the number two hospital while allowing staff to treat patients like animals. If I had not been in severe pain from my groin to the top of my ribs, I would have discharged myself. It was that bad. My condition worsened yesterday, and I have been unable to keep anything down since 5 p.m. At about 9 p.m. last night, I suddenly began vomiting blood and bringing up everything, including my medications. All my medications are oral, and I have repeatedly asked for an IV or injections because I keep vomiting everything. I have had no pain medication since 5 p.m. yesterday and am in severe pain, but they do not care. I do not know what else to say; animals are treated better than I have been.
08/01/2026
I had one of the worst healthcare experiences ever. I had been a Cleveland Clinic patient for at least ten years. My doctor retired, but no one told me, and they did not assign a replacement. When I needed a prescription refill, I could not reach him. Worse, they tried to schedule me with a doctor on Warrensville Center Road who still seemed to be in school. When I tried to contact him, no one knew who I meant; he was actually only a resident. I called my cardiologist's office because I needed a prescription, and the person on the phone said I had to come in, even though my appointment was still several days away. They said they would prescribe only enough medication to last until then and would not provide the prescription unless I came in. Worse still, they sent a nurse rather than a doctor to see me. I am at a loss for words about this level of care. I have now transferred my primary care to a university hospital. I thought I was the only person having this experience until I spoke with others and realized there must be a problem with your hospital. I simply expected better. —Terry Grandberry

I wish I could write two reviews: five stars for the doctors and zero stars for the other staff. Since I cannot, I will give them three stars. The doctors are excellent, at least the more senior ones. They are highly skilled. The newer doctors are average. Billing is always a headache, and the bills are enormous. Communicating with customer service is extremely difficult. The contrast between the excellent doctors and the inconsistent quality of the other staff is very strange. Patients should proceed with caution.
07/01/2026
Cleveland Clinic refuses to follow Medicare rules. Medicare patients are NOT supposed to be billed by the provider until the bill has been processed by Medicare. Cleveland Clinic insists on billing patients ahead of that final determination. They have sent me bills for higher amounts that were eventually much lower after Medicare made their final determination.
05/01/2026
I love everything about Cleveland Clinic. Additionally I would like to add their My Chart Tech support. Specifically KIM. I was having so much trouble logging in & was getting confused. I'm elderly. She was so patient & kind. Got me back into the right app & even let me 'practice " so I was comfortable logging in. I am so appreciative & I hope her manager sees this. You have a wonderful employee. Thank you !

After Dr. Zaki performed surgery, my father was recovering in the cardiac ICU. The nurses there told my ambulatory father to have a BM IN HIS BED instead of getting him a walker to go to the bathroom. It was the most degrading and humiliating thing I’ve ever witnessed in a medical setting. Then they had to audacity to tell him that getting him to the bathroom would delay his transfer to a step down unit (which should have happened hours beforehand but they were severely delayed). Great surgeons. Unbelievably degrading and disgusting treatment by ICU nursing staff. The ombudsman was worthless, reporting back that there was “a misunderstanding.” My mom, dad, and I all witnessed this gross recommendation and had to staunchly advocate for a walker after being told “this is our policy,” by the charge nurse. To be clear—she is saying it is their policy in the cardiac ICU to tell ambulatory patients to poop in their beds. World class surgeons or not, this should definitely NOT be the standard of care.

I would like to share my experience with retinal specialist Dr. Pierre George Neri. He is a highly skilled, caring physician who truly respects his patients and always makes them feel comfortable and reassured. He is very attentive to detail and genuinely cares about his patients' health. What I appreciate most is his responsiveness and dedication. Whenever I message him through the app, he replies quickly and clearly, which is very reassuring. In my opinion, he is one of the finest retinal specialists. I have been under his care for the past three years and attend regular follow-ups. God willing, I will continue to trust his excellent care and successfully complete my treatment.

Hehehehe Clevland like from family guy
30/01/2026
I just have to say, it is awful when the ICU nurses actually remember what you have been through before. The staff are kind, the rooms are clean, and the food is fairly good. Wonderful—they saved my life twice! Five stars; I would choose them again. If death comes knocking again, he will not find me; I will be at Cleveland Clinic!

I had stage IV cancer. When I went to the hospital, they gave me pain medication that lasted about 30 minutes, took an X-ray, administered saline, and told me I had severe arthritis. The pain was not arthritis—it was stage IV lung cancer with spread to my brain and lymph nodes. I drove five and a half hours to Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids, where they performed scans and told me an hour and a half later that I had cancer. Cleveland Hospital then charged me $6,000 for the misdiagnosis. What a scam! Stay away from this hospital; they are extremely unprofessional!
17/02/2026
My wife's spinal surgery was successful, and the surgeon was highly skilled. The problem was postoperative care. Calling the staff unresponsive is an understatement. Nobody noticed her, so she received no pain medication until someone entered her into the system. She had almost no assistance and had to rely on me and her roommate, who also had cancer. The room was not very clean, and the phone for ordering meals had been pulled from the wall, so I had to improvise. The lack of postoperative care traumatized her, and she cried constantly. Most staff appeared to be temporary nurses who meant well but communicated poorly with one another. Unless staffing and room cleanliness improve, we will avoid this hospital whenever possible.

Everything went smoothly after the consultation, but 4 months later, instead of telling me sooner so I could have surgery, they delayed and finally said they would not perform it. There was no reason for the delay. They wasted my time and insurance coverage!

My father recently had a stroke and was placed in Nuero ICU. The whole team of doctors and nurses aides and everyone, were amazing! Dr. Geiger from Oncology was also so special to my father and her care was impeccable! I’d like to call out a few that made my father’s last days as good as could be. First, Jeffrey, his RN (went to Xavier and grew up in San Diego). This young man was just amazing. His commitment to care was beyond and the way he dealt with our family was so gracious! I’m so glad my father was in his care! Also Dr. Hassit was very good to us. And Nancy, in custodial on the floor, she is such a beautiful woman inside and out! Her kindness and thoughtfulness helped so much in such a hard time!! Thank you to all who helped my father in his last days! I will be forever grateful and thankful he was with that ward! The whole ward was truly amazing and made the end so much easier! Thank you!! Thank you!!!

I went in for hip resurfacing. My surgery and doctor were excellent, but the stay afterward was a disaster. First, they kept me in recovery for an additional seven hours solely because they were overbooked and had no room available. Apparently, this is a recurring problem. By the time I reached my room, I had missed dinner service, and my wife had to drive 30 minutes to bring me food. They placed me in an overflow area, where the staff seemed unsure how to manage me and my orthopedic condition. Then they had no walkers and made me wait more than an hour just to use the bathroom. Finally, valet parking, which is essentially necessary when having surgery, required a wait of more than 30 minutes. What was once considered one of the best hospitals in the nation now feels substandard.
19/03/2026
Everyone was very helpful. Service was prompt, and the valet parking was excellent.

This is the best private health-care option for Canadians disappointed by Canada's poor health-care system. It is about a 4- to 5-hour drive from Toronto.
11/04/2026
My sister went there because of cancer. They operated on her and kept her hospitalized for 7 days. After discovering she was terminally ill, they discharged her on the eighth day. She died that night—last night. That place does not care about patients. It is an experimental laboratory using people instead of animals, then billing insurance companies for money.

On August 7, 2024, I had a face and neck lift performed by Dr. Zins. I have had problems from the beginning: a strangling sensation inside and outside my neck, swelling of one submandibular gland, and pain at the base of my skull. Dr. Zins was the second Cleveland Clinic plastic surgeon I consulted. He asked why I chose him, and I said I did not want the other surgeon because the estimated procedure time was too long. I clearly told Dr. Zins I required surgery at the main campus. He said he could perform it there faster than Dr. Isakov. About a week before surgery, I checked online and discovered the location had been changed from the main campus to Beachwood. I was upset because we had booked a hotel at the main campus and I had expressly requested surgery there after Dr. Isakov said nowhere was better. I told Zins's staff I objected, and Zins soon called to say Beachwood was safer for me. Just before I was taken into the operating room, his associate Pierce told me he would personally perform my surgery. When I later told Zins, he said he did not know why Pierce had said that. Was Pierce lying? For a year and a half, I have not had a good night's sleep. This is the greatest regret of my life. I contacted the ombudsman, who said they would negotiate a refund or revision surgery. I said I would never allow Zins to operate on me again. He offered Botox injections in my neck and reduction of the submandibular gland, but said these procedures involve heavy bleeding and high complication rates. No, thank you. At my drain-removal appointment, one drain was stuck. He became annoyed and yanked it so hard that I fainted. He said the swollen lymph node was unrelated to surgery, although it appeared within a month or two afterward. Cleveland Clinic referred me to other doctors, but no one found a problem. My CT was normal. I wanted a contrast CT or MRI, but no one would order one. I feel some doctors simply want to dismiss me without determining the cause. Now, 20 months after surgery, I still cannot sleep, still feel strangled, and still have headaches. The ombudsman said she regretted that negotiations did not achieve the expected result. Patients who make complaints should be allowed to participate in negotiations. I felt treated as irrelevant and unworthy. I therefore left Cleveland Clinic. While I lie awake, Zins continues his life as usual. That man ruined my life! The photo was taken today, 20 months after surgery.

I previously wrote a positive review of Dr. Bower, but then the bill arrived and shocked me. I know doctors generally do not handle billing. However, I spent only about 15 minutes with Dr. Bower and received a $16,000 bill today. I had asked whether the “procedure” in his shabby Cleveland Clinic office—generously provided by the organization also known as the “mafia”—would cost that much. He said no, then spent 10 minutes “carefully” removing a tiny spot from my throat. I am grateful that everything was normal, but this is outrageous. I was not taken to an operating room, given anesthesia, or anything else. $16,000 divided by the visit length is $1,066 per minute. Does that seem reasonable? Be warned: Cleveland Clinic profits from the fear and pain people experience when seeking medical care. I was afraid of the test result, but never expected to be deceived and exploited at the same time. Protect yourself and your money. Unless you want to be treated as a cash cow, do not go to Cleveland Clinic. Worse, I waited an hour and a half to see the doctor.

Just to sit in a room to see doctor for 20 minutes they charged $1300 dollars just for the room. That doesn’t even include the Dr’s bill for seeing me. How is that even possible. No wonder why people can’t afford to be sick. Got to find a Dr not affiliated with Cleavland Clinic. 0 stars for cost. Dr was ok.

If you are naming Cleveland’s number one institution, it is not the Browns, Cavaliers, Guardians, or Rock & Roll Hall of Fame; it is Cleveland Clinic. Founded in 1921, the clinic has expanded beyond Euclid Avenue, Greater Cleveland, and the rest of the United States. I have received care here for nearly 40 years. Wherever I live, I make sure there is a Cleveland Clinic nearby.

National Consult Program Do not waste your time or money. Despite submitting all my medical history reports and test results, they scheduled me with the same type of specialist, and the outcome was exactly the same as my previous appointments. Once the results were available, except for one test they could not schedule until the day after my appointment even though I live eight hours away, they simply told me everything was normal. That was it. I came here hoping they would develop a treatment plan based on my medical history, prior testing, and previous evaluations, not repeat what I had already done. This was a complete waste of money. My cardiologist recommended Mayo Clinic. Mayo Clinic accepted me, but I chose CC because it was closer to home. I wasted three days away from work, travel expenses, and out-of-pocket costs. I could have spent that money at Mayo Clinic or even Vanderbilt University and at least received some answers. I complained to the ombudsman's office. They instructed me to use their secure mailbox and sent me a link. Over several months, I sent multiple messages but never received a response. Eventually, instead of using their portal, I called and was told to send regular mail. I sent many letters and still heard nothing. I sent countless messages over the course of several months. Finally, when I called again, at least four times, the "representative" assigned to my case never returned my calls. When I finally reached her, her attitude was appalling. This healthcare organization does not have its patients' best interests at heart. At least, it did not have mine. I do not recommend this program.

During one of the most difficult periods of my life, I sought mental health care in the hope of finding support, guidance, and a provider I could trust. However, my experience with Joy King left me feeling dismissed and unsupported. I understand that not every provider is the right fit for every patient. However, when I voiced my concerns and tried to open up, I did not feel that those concerns were truly taken seriously. Mental health care requires trust, and for me, that trust was never established. Most disappointing was the feeling that my perspective and concerns were not fully understood. As a patient seeking help during a vulnerable time, I needed empathy, communication, and reassurance that my voice mattered in my care. Because of this experience, I now have to seek mental health services outside the clinic, which has put me in a very difficult position. Asking for help while already struggling can be overwhelming, and this experience made the process even harder. It takes courage to seek mental health support, and when that courage is met without understanding, it can be incredibly discouraging. I am sharing my experience in the hope that future patients will receive the compassion, understanding, and care they need to feel supported in their recovery.

This seems like an excellent clinic to me. We arrived a few minutes early and were checked in at a desk near the main entrance. We went to the waiting room and did not wait long. The staff were very professional, friendly, kind, and helpful. The building was clean and tidy, with plenty of parking. It is conveniently located off Route 18, next to Cleveland Clinic Medina Hospital and near I-71.

Cleveland Clinic's prices after insurance keep rising and have become outrageous. Now, if a doctor mentions anything abnormal during a routine annual visit, they add charges to what should be a free annual examination. A bacterial culture cost $515 after insurance. I know the same services cost far less outside large medical groups like Cleveland Clinic. Their prices are becoming unaffordable for middle-class families. I am looking for a smaller or private clinic with more reasonable pricing. Insurers consistently allow the highest prices for large medical groups, while the same service costs much less after insurance elsewhere. That is where I intend to go, as I already do for other specialty and primary care. Itemizing extra charges during a free annual examination and charging an outrageous amount for a bacterial culture was the final straw. The doctor lookup system in the waiting room also wastes time. Waiting for a name to appear while the appointment time passes is pointless. They should use the fixed list instead of a constantly changing display. It is also disgusting to sign in on a touchscreen used by others when it is not cleaned after each use. What happened to the front desk staff who used to handle this? Update: I called my health insurer about the cost of the bacterial culture. I learned that if I received the same service during an annual visit with a doctor at the UH Medina medical building, Quest Diagnostics would charge $140.55. Cleveland Clinic's price is outrageously high.

The woman working in the laboratory had an unnecessary attitude. She kept trying to be dismissive toward everyone instead of doing her job properly. The woman drawing your blood sits there discussing other staff and patients in front of you.

I have always received good care—that is the positive. However, insurance denied one annual physical and I was charged $1,200, which is outrageous! I also decided to finally receive the shingles vaccine at an appointment—2 injections at $1,000 each, even with insurance. So my Christmas gift was essentially a $3,200 bill. This healthcare system must change. Instead of Cleveland Clinic helping create a more transparent and reasonable system, it is practically stealing from patients. It is time for me to find a new hospital or clinic!

Carly Glending, APRN.CNP, was very unprofessional in the express care room. You do not remove someone from the examination room simply because they do not have left-sided chest pain.

These people care more about whether they can bill your insurance than about actual patients. Holding a prescription you have taken for 15 years hostage because they want you to come in does not show concern for your health or well-being; it shows concern about receiving $120 to sign a renewal. It is unfortunate that healthcare has been monopolized by large corporations like this, which earn billions while most Americans suffer.

I have visited Cleveland Clinic Solon since the 1990s, but yesterday, February 5, I had my worst experience with a nurse named Sad. She made me feel like someone on public assistance, even though I have excellent insurance and do not need assistance, and her attitude made me very uncomfortable. She entered the waiting room, called my name, and harshly said I had to check in. I told her I had already checked in, knew how to use the computer, and had confirmed downstairs that registration was complete. I asked how her day was because she seemed upset, and she replied that it was going very well. When I asked why she was being aggressive and bullying me, she did not answer. It felt as if she brought personal problems to work, and I was her first patient that day. I have never encountered such behavior, especially in a clinic. In the exam room, she took my blood pressure and gave me the reading. When I asked whether it was good or bad, she said, 'I just told you your numbers were good.' A patient expects a registered nurse to explain more clearly, not respond that way. She appeared to be in a bad mood and directed her negativity at me. I was too intimidated to tell my doctor. She gestured with her hands in a way I am sure the staff understood. The doctor said Sad would return to give me an injection, but thankfully another nurse replaced her. The entire experience was deeply unpleasant. I hope management speaks with her, as she may treat coworkers similarly. Solon Family Health Center must be aware of this nurse, and I doubt this was the first incident.

I come here because I like my regular provider. I have recently had back problems and had an appointment for my back this morning, but weather made me late. I tried calling before the scheduled time to explain that weather and road conditions would delay me, but they said I had to wait until I entered the building to learn whether I would be seen. I found this strange because I had never been told that before. I traveled all the way there and explained that I had tried calling but had been told I could not notify them that weather had delayed me. They would not listen and simply called to report me late without further explanation. I live 40 minutes away, and they rescheduled me for 2 1/2 hours later. I explained that I would not drive all the way home. My back problem makes it nearly impossible to walk or sit for long periods. I repeated that if I had been allowed to explain that I was delayed by severe weather and on my way, perhaps they could have told me before I arrived that I would not be seen, and I could have turned around. I would not have continued driving all this way in this weather. They told me to wait in the café. This is unbelievable. They would not let me notify the doctor's office that I was running late or give me the chance to turn around and go home because I would miss the appointment and not be seen. If I am going to be late, I always call so they can tell me whether I need to reschedule or whether they can fit me in as soon as possible. Their policy makes it impossible to know whether you will be seen until you arrive. This is a terrible way to handle the situation.

I bring my client here for radiation treatment. When you enter the lobby, people greet you and help you get where you need to go, which is wonderful. I once believed Cleveland Clinic was one of the world's best hospitals. Over the past year, I have begun to change my mind. Several recent appointments have involved waits of more than an hour, yet when I was 20 minutes late because the woman on the phone gave me the wrong time, they rescheduled me. My family members were misdiagnosed not once but twice. One patient developed sepsis and spent three days in the hospital. Another, after years of treatment, was found to have emphysema and cirrhosis. We discovered these conditions after she moved to another state, but she lived only two more months. Despite years of procedures and treatment at Cleveland Clinic, no one identified her conditions, even after a doctor spent six months trying to determine what was wrong. Cleveland Clinic is rapidly declining. What was once a world-class hospital now seems to prioritize profit over medical care.

I visited the Brunswick Express Care today and was greeted to the left of the metal supervisor by an extremely rude employee. After I checked in, she had to use three of my credit cards because something went wrong. I was frustrated and said I disliked that money was the first thing they asked for. I had every right to say that because it was true. She was extremely rude and shouted in the lobby while patients were inside, saying I was unprofessional and that paying was my responsibility. I stopped engaging with her, but she continued making remarks while I was on the phone. She is the one with black hair, a bad attitude, and no professionalism. How many frustrated Cleveland patients come here every day while she only wants to escalate matters? The best RBF. Good kid.

I think everyone knows that people mainly leave reviews after poor experiences. Cleveland Clinic Strongsville FHC is excellent and has outstanding healthcare professionals. The clinic is consistently clean, and interactions are friendly. Of course, waits and appointment changes sometimes occur, but that is the reality of healthcare today.

We usually come here for appointments without any problems, and everyone is friendly. However, the staff and registration desk in ophthalmology on the second floor were unfriendly. The registration staff were very rude, sitting behind the desk looking miserable as though you were a nuisance. The ophthalmic technician we saw before the doctor today was very unprofessional and did not know how to interact with children. I strongly recommend not bringing children here for eye exams.
15/10/2025
I have received care at this clinic for most of my life, and its customer service was always worth praising! Then I visited the Strongsville location, where the customer service was terrible!! What happened to friendliness and a simple smile!?!? When people feel unwell, they may need a little kindness. I believe patient-care etiquette training is essential!!
12/12/2025
Exorbitant/astronomical charges. Beware of scams. The doctors at this clinic are highly skilled and the consultation fees are reasonable, but there is little else to recommend. I strongly advise against accepting any additional services, such as injections. An injection at the orthopedic clinic costs at least 2,500 to 3,000. I contacted their billing department, but they gave me a long explanation that this was a government-mandated national average and offered other excuses. Unless it is an emergency, do not go.
14/11/2025
I cannot reach my care team. I have been transferred, disconnected, and waiting for an hour... Is this acceptable? I still have not spoken with a nurse... the clock is ticking.
10/11/2025
This clinic consistently runs very late. Our last three appointments were delayed by 45 minutes, even though we wish we could arrive 15 minutes early. This is not an emergency department. If delays are this severe and persistent, they should allow more time between appointments.
09/12/2025
Cleveland Clinic uses unethical billing practices, arbitrarily adding service codes that insurance does not cover.
06/01/2026
On December 19, I scheduled an appointment with a representative who sounded as though I had just woken him from a Friday afternoon nap. Cleveland Clinic should bring its employees back to the office instead of continuing this work-from-home charade. I explained why I needed the appointment. Although he reviewed my order, he carelessly scheduled me with a physician assistant (PA) in Strongsville on January 5. On the morning of the appointment, a nurse from the PA’s office sent me a MyChart message saying I needed to reschedule with a physician (MD), and the PA appointment was canceled. It took them two weeks to figure this out? Unbelievable. I then received a call from another scheduler who falsely claimed that I needed to reschedule because the doctor’s schedule had changed. She also complained that she had tried to reach me earlier but the call disconnected. I told her I had been at the gym with poor reception, which seemed to upset her. She then offered some new appointment times. Surprisingly, she scheduled me with another physician assistant at a different Cleveland Clinic location. If I had not asked her to confirm that the new provider was actually a doctor, I might have gone through the same ordeal again. She then scheduled me with a physician at another location, which I confirmed in MyChart. This is astonishing. No wonder Cleveland Clinic’s quality of care and reputation are declining. Also, why are patients not allowed to reply to MyChart messages? 🤔
19/12/2025
I left several messages for the Strongsville location and also spoke with customer service and left messages, but no one responded. They seem too busy to care about anyone who is not directly in front of them. I recommend calling Brunswick, Medina, or any other location—avoid Strongsville.

We have been here for an hour and a half. I scheduled an at-home Express Care visit through MyChart and selected 'on the way.' We arrived 10 minutes later. The kiosk said not to register there for Express Care and to go directly to the Express Care room. The television there said to go to the front desk if your name was not on the list, but our name was on it. We were near the front and watched patient after patient go in, including walk-ins. After half an hour, our name dropped to fifth. The front desk said I had not checked in, even though I was on the list and had checked in through the app. She fixed the issue and said we should be called soon, but we remained fifth. Our name moved between first and fifth while more walk-ins came and went. No one would help. Now everyone else has been seen and the waiting room is empty while we are still sitting here. At least we should be next. I cannot believe no one communicated with us while someone who may have strep throat sat outside for an hour and a half. We are now the only name on the list. Hopefully no one else arrives so we might finally be next.

I scheduled a routine mammogram at this Strongsville location and, like a responsible adult, called ahead to confirm that bringing my service dog would be allowed. I was told yes—because, of course, that’s the law. Fast forward to the appointment, where the technician immediately decided to audition for “Most Creative Misinterpretation of the ADA.” Her main concern? That I might faint during my mammogram and so I can’t tie my dog to a chair. I’ve had around 20 mammograms and have never even felt lightheaded, so this felt like a very specific fantasy scenario she had fully committed to. If we’re making up unlikely medical events, should we also plan for a meteor strike mid-exam? She then added that she might “trip over him.” My dog, meanwhile, was calm, trained, and doing less moving than most of the staff. At that point it became clear the only thing in danger of falling was the logic of the conversation. Then came the supervisor, who escalated things with the confidence of someone who clearly had no intention of solving the problem. Instead of clarifying policy, the solution offered was essentially, “maybe we just cancel your appointment,” which is a bold approach to healthcare but give the powerless some power (especially in woman dominated work environments and I say this has a woman) and see how well that works out. For a system as large and well-funded as Cleveland Clinic, the lack of basic training here is almost impressive. Service animals are not a niche concept. This isn’t advanced policy—it’s day one, baseline, federally protected stuff. But when you operate like a monopoly, I guess you can afford to let common sense quietly exit the building. Cleveland is the armpit of the world for so many reasons. If nothing else, this visit was educational: not about my health, but about how quickly a routine appointment can turn into a masterclass in confusion, improvisation, and misplaced authority.

I made an appointment with a dermatologist, but it turned out to be an intern. At first, I thought it was fine, but after talking to her for a minute, I realized she wasn't listening to me at all. I gave up hope of communicating with her and just shut down. I accepted the treatment plan she recommended and walked out of the clinic thinking, either I kill myself or I just have to endure the torment of psoriasis for the rest of my life. A waste of time, money, and vacation time, and I ended up with severe depression.

Nurse Tracy in obstetrics and gynecology had a very poor attitude. I am a first-time mother, and when I voiced my concerns, she treated me extremely poorly.
10/06/2026
For my first gynecology visit, I saw Ms. Cohen. I told her I had pain in my lower right abdomen. She pressed on the area, and I winced in pain. She asked when the pain had started and how much it affected me. She said she would arrange an abdominal ultrasound to check for endometriosis, as well as a transvaginal ultrasound. I had both scans and asked the sonographer whether the abdominal ultrasound could diagnose endometriosis. She said she was not checking for that! She was only examining my ovaries, fallopian tubes, and uterus, which the transvaginal ultrasound could also do. The pain I originally reported was completely ignored! Both ultrasound scans were pointless and did not identify the cause of my complaint! What a joke! I underwent unnecessary tests, received no diagnosis, and was simply told to return for a follow-up! I will never go there again!!! What a waste of time!!!

I have never experienced such an unprofessional and disorganized office, specifically within Pain Management under Megan Krall. It took nearly a year for Cleveland Clinic to finally determine that the source of my pain was a herniated disc in my neck. Throughout that time, I repeatedly felt that my pain was not being taken seriously. Despite being in severe pain and explaining how much it was affecting my daily life, I was continually told to just do physical therapy, with very little investigation into what was actually causing my symptoms. After months of advocating for myself and having to BEG for an MRI, imaging finally revealed a herniated disc. Even after seeing the results, I was again told to continue physical therapy and was offered no pain relief, despite explaining that I could not even dress myself or shower without assistance. I had to push just to get an appointment to discuss injections and pain management. During that visit, Megan Krall insisted she believed the issue was still related to my shoulder, despite the MRI findings being right in front of her. She even questioned which side of my body the pain was on, as though I wouldn't know where I was experiencing symptoms. I was then told that an injection could not be scheduled for several weeks. Only after expressing that I had been suffering for over a year and could not continue living with this level of pain did anyone make an effort to get me in sooner. I was told I would likely be scheduled for the following week but could possibly get in the next day. I was contacted that afternoon saying they were still working on it so it would likely be next week, but the very next morning I received a notification in MyChart saying I had a procedure scheduled. No one had called me. There was no explanation and no appointment time listed. I spent over an hour on the phone trying to get answers, only to receive a message telling me what time it was and to call to confirm. The lack of communication, organization, and empathy throughout this process has been incredibly frustrating. Patients who are living with chronic pain deserve to be heard, taken seriously, and treated with compassion, not like you are just feigning for medication (despite test results) since you happen to have a lot of tattoos. Unfortunately, that was not my experience here.
