Dr Geoffrey Sher, États-Unis

Le Dr Sher est également professeur associé d’obstétrique-gynécologie à l’University of Nevada School of Medicine.

  • 1984: A introduit l’insémination intra-utérine (IIU).

Great clinic. Dr. Bayrak was very attentive and took excellent care of me. He is highly professional. Excellent physician and clinic. Very punctual.

This is the most amazing fertility clinic. If you want a complete evaluation and honest answers about infertility, I highly recommend this place. The doctor is the most patient professional I have ever met. The staff is also extremely kind, professional, and well organized. I was deeply impressed by the professionalism of this office. We quickly identified my problem and prepared me for a successful future pregnancy. I am so glad my friend referred me here. I will definitely recommend this office to all my family and friends. I trust this doctor so much that I even asked for a referral to an OB-GYN whom Dr. Bayrak also trusts.

Dr. Bayrak and his team are wonderful. He is calm and patient and explains everything in detail. He never rushes questions and spends as much time discussing them as needed until you feel comfortable. He inspires hope while staying grounded in facts and data. He communicates important information directly to patients, and his team is always available to help. Dr. Bayrak's “we will not give up” attitude truly helps during a stressful and difficult process. LA IVF is the best. (Writing this at 8 weeks pregnant, thanks to Dr. Bayrak!)

I have worked with Dr. Bayrak several times, consulted him about family matters, and referred friends and relatives. What impressed me most was how thoroughly he explained every possible option and the process involved with each, never holding back or tiring of questions. During the initial consultation and later visits, you often hear him ask several times, “Do you have any other questions?” to ensure that patients, partners, surrogates, donors, or anyone else involved leave with no unanswered questions. He has one of the best bedside manners of any physician I have met, and I have met many. I highly recommend Dr. Bayrak as anyone's IVF physician. You will be very pleased throughout the process and with the final outcome.

I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Bayrak and his team. I highly recommend him for his timely, caring approach when I needed it most. He generously spent time answering every question I had during IVF. I visited three clinics and spent considerable money and time before finding him. He felt different from our first meeting. He explained the entire process in detail and gave us a customized treatment plan. My husband and I felt hopeful again. This is a very sensitive process, and I am fortunate that I trusted him. We conceived twins after our first IVF cycle. Thank you, Dr. Bayrak! I greatly appreciate your guidance, knowledge, and care!

We are pregnant! What a roller-coaster experience! Dr. Bayrak and his team were outstanding throughout this long, difficult, and anxious process. Dr. Bayrak was extremely attentive and always made sure every question was answered. Our first transfer resulted in pregnancy, and honestly, I still cannot believe Dr. Bayrak and his team were as excited as my husband. It was truly a team effort, and now we are patiently awaiting our due date. Thank you, LA IVF Clinic!

A few years ago, Dr. Bayrak told me I could not conceive naturally and needed IVF. After two failed IVF cycles at this clinic, I conceived naturally. The staff here are very rude and talk about patients behind their backs. They only want money and do not care about you.

We are deeply grateful to Dr. Aykut Bayrak and the entire LA IVF team for helping us achieve our dream of becoming parents. From day one, Dr. Bayrak was direct, honest, and clear about every step of the process. That transparency was exactly what we needed, and we greatly appreciated it. They did not sugarcoat anything; they simply provided facts, thoughtful guidance, and unwavering commitment to our outcome. This approach gave us confidence and trust and helped us navigate the highs and lows of IVF. We were very fortunate that our first FET resulted in pregnancy, and thanks to Dr. Bayrak's expertise and attentive care, we now have a healthy, beautiful daughter. The clinic staff were also excellent—always responsive, compassionate, and organized. We never felt alone and always knew what to expect. Dr. Bayrak is not only an expert in his field, but also a dedicated advocate for his patients who is committed to achieving the best possible outcome. We are incredibly grateful for his help in realizing our dream of a family.

Overall, I did not receive the results I expected. My first egg retrieval produced only one egg, which did not reach the embryo stage. This was devastating, especially because I had been told at my last appointment to expect 6-8 eggs. My second retrieval took place the next cycle. Despite a slightly different protocol, the result was the same. With my estradiol dropping sharply and remaining low, I could not accept proceeding with another retrieval only to obtain one egg. I sought a second opinion. The doctor confirmed that continuing retrievals would likely produce only 1-2 eggs. My ovarian reserve was not diminished; in fact, I have polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS). People with PCOS usually have more eggs, with quality rather than quantity being the challenge. I completed a third retrieval with another doctor and obtained 34 eggs without complications or ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome [OHSS]. I summarized the advantages and disadvantages of my experience to help others navigate the process. Pros: No waiting; appointments are usually on time. You do not feel rushed and can ask Dr. Bayrak any questions. The clinic performs retrievals, cryopreservation, and many other steps on site, making IVF more convenient than visiting multiple clinics. They accept most insurance plans and WinFertility. Cons: Costs lack transparency. My out-of-pocket cost changed and increased after the first retrieval. The second retrieval cost $250 more without advance notice; I learned only when paying. The explanation was simply, “We raised our prices,” although it was only one month after my first retrieval. When problems arise, no one takes responsibility, and direct answers about poor outcomes are difficult to obtain. In my case, the wrong tube was used for a blood draw, so the laboratory could not perform the correct test. I had to repeat the draw, but the second sample was lost. I finally received results on the third attempt, with no explanation. At one cycle-start appointment, I was told I could not begin for another three weeks because of the clinic's batching process. Only after pressing for an explanation was I told it was due to batching and an upcoming holiday. This could have been communicated in advance. The clinic appears determined to retain as much of your money as possible. If you stop treatment because of the current cycle's outcome, as I did, be prepared to follow up for months to obtain refunds for services not provided. My out-of-pocket payment included ICSI, embryology laboratory fees, PGT, and cryopreservation/storage. Just before my refund was processed, I was told about a previously undisclosed $4,000 “cancellation/coordination fee.” After repeated follow-up, it was reduced to $1,000, but I still received no clear explanation of what it covered or when it had been disclosed. Despite my efforts, the clinic refused to refund it and stopped responding. My blood samples were repeatedly lost, requiring multiple painful redraws. The clinic often failed to call with results as promised, forcing me to follow up constantly. Finally, the clinic does not validate parking, so every appointment costs at least $10 to $15 for parking. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this clinic. I hope this information helps at least one person.

When evaluating service, I believe nothing speaks more clearly than a new life. If you are reading this, I sincerely wish you luck on this difficult journey. Regardless of what others say, every IVF journey is different, so prepare for an emotional roller coaster. We were fortunate to succeed on our first attempt with Dr. Bayrak, after two failed attempts at two other clinics. We later had two failed attempts with him, but fortunately our most recent one succeeded. Compared with other doctors, I believe he has seen a wider variety of cases, which alone enables him to offer better advice. Our situation as a couple was fairly typical, and we were even younger than most IVF patients. We noticed that other doctors seemed to prefer patients from certain demographic or income groups. Dr. Bayrak and his team were very thoughtful and attentive to our needs. I cannot express how grateful I am that the doctor and team took ample time to discuss even basic questions with us, despite knowing other patients were waiting. Still, you must be realistic: this is ultimately a chemical and biological process used to create life, and different doctors may use broadly similar methods to reach the same result. Everyone must endure some hardship to achieve an outcome, but the final result is absolutely worth it.

I am currently pregnant thanks to IVF treatment with Dr. Bayrak, and I believe this is a fair and balanced review. I could not conceive naturally because of a condition requiring surgery, which I also had at this clinic. The medical care was excellent from beginning to end. Dr. Bayrak stands out for his responsiveness and attention to detail. He answers emails after hours and on weekends and never makes appointments feel rushed. I often ask many questions, and he always responds patiently, thoroughly, and respectfully rather than hurrying to the next patient. I most appreciate his approach to decisions. He listens carefully to my ideas and works with me when they are medically reasonable. When they are not, he takes time to explain why and discuss alternatives. Based on my conversations with other medical professionals, his approach is consistent and well reasoned. The nursing staff are also wonderful, especially Mariana and Vanessa, who are very gentle and caring. The only drawback is the financial side, which can sometimes feel uncomfortable and transactional. This does not reflect the doctor's medical skill, but it is worth noting. Overall, I am grateful, because without IVF and Dr. Bayrak's attentive care, I would not be where I am today.

The office manager was unwelcoming and cold. Dr. Bayrak was distant and did not treat patients very well. We did not have a good experience at this facility. The medical assistant who helped guide you through the process was very helpful and calming, but aside from that, it was a terrible experience.

Dr. Bayrak is one of the most compassionate doctors I have ever had the privilege of working with. After a very painful experience at another clinic, where the focus seemed to be solely on making me pregnant rather than on the pregnancy's health or safety, I was determined to find a doctor who would listen, seek the correct diagnosis, and collaborate on a plan that was safe, effective, and aligned with our family's goals. Dr. Bayrak was the right person for the role. After learning our history, the first thing he did was express sympathy for our loss and promise to help us find a better solution. It was so refreshing to change from doctors who no longer seemed to treat me as a person but as a petri dish. During the first few months, we worked together and used every available tool to diagnose the nature of my infertility, which gave me a strong sense of ownership over our journey. When it was time to proceed with IVF, my retrieval was very easy, painless, and efficient, nothing like the painful overstimulation I had previously experienced. The transfer was equally smooth, and our first FET succeeded. Throughout the process, my emotions and anxiety were addressed with compassion and information. No question was too foolish. I never felt rushed or disconnected from the process. I am now 28 weeks pregnant with our baby girl, and this pregnancy has been far easier than my previous pregnancies. Dr. Bayrak monitored me until 10 weeks, and I have been with my obstetrician since then. I am incredibly excited to welcome the newest member of our family very soon, and to have reached this point much faster than we expected. If, or perhaps when, we decide to continue growing our family, I am glad to know Dr. Bayrak will accompany me on that journey as well. It truly felt like a partnership, and for the first time in years of dealing with infertility, I felt seen.

My husband and I tried to have a child for 3 years without making any progress until I met Dr. Bayrak. He is the most compassionate doctor I have ever met. He made sure I felt comfortable and safe before every procedure. I trust him with my life and am extremely grateful because we now have a healthy 2-year-old girl. He made our dream come true, and we are now excited to have our second baby next year!

An extremely unprofessional fertility clinic. Save your time and money and choose a different clinic. I had the worst experience with Dr. Bayrak and his office staff, especially office manager Stacey Huggins.
06/02/2020
I am very happy with the treatment I received from Dr. Bayrak. He and his nurse treated me very well 👍 and answered all my questions. He performed my embryo transfer, and I am now 9 weeks and 2 days pregnant. I completely recommend this clinic. I was concerned that I would not understand because my language is Spanish, but he has a very kind nurse who always translated what he needed to tell me.
21/02/2025
Excellent clinic and doctor. Dr. Bayrak is highly professional and meticulous. I enjoyed working with him.
24/03/2026
I saw Dr. Bayrak here throughout my treatment, and the level of care was consistently excellent. He was attentive, explained things clearly, and was always willing to answer my questions in detail. I felt well supported throughout treatment.
02/06/2021
The slowest staff and doctor. My appointment check-in was at 9:30, I arrived at 9:15, and it is now 10:58 a.m., but I still have not been seen.
