Because of the chaos currently happening in Eau Claire, I would not go here. Unfortunately, with Sacred Heart closing, they have to practice through Marshfield Clinic Hospital, which is a terrible clinic. We spent 32 weeks seeing the doctor before learning that my wife needed throat surgery. We had to have it done in Rochester. Afterward, we were told everything went well and we could deliver safely. We saw them weekly until 39 weeks. At the 39-week appointment, she said everything looked good but wanted an anesthesiologist prepared in case an emergency C-section was needed. We went home after she said everything was fine. Then on Friday at 4:30, she called and said they were no longer comfortable and that if labor began, we needed to drive to Rochester, Minnesota. What frustrates me is that we had the surgery at 32 weeks, but they waited until 39 weeks to tell us this. There was no time to get to know a new OB or even make calls. It was basically, “I know we spent 39 weeks together, but now it is over. Good luck!” It was terrible, and I cannot believe this is allowed. To address the concern, we saw the surgeon on Saturday. He examined her and did another scan, and everything was normal. He wrote us a letter saying everything was fine, but they still refused. What a waste of time. We liked our OB, which is why I gave 2 stars, but what is the point of liking your OB when they are not even involved in the delivery? Stay away until they find a new hospital to operate through. Mayo in Eau Claire ultimately agreed to take us...somehow it was safe for them but not for Marshfield...

It can be difficult to find a capable, respected, approachable doctor who allows you to make your own decisions. I am extremely pleased with my experience at Oakleaf Clinics, though pleased is an understatement. Because of the care I received, I have a healthy baby. I had a doctor who listened to me, informed me, and allowed me to make decisions. I had a detail-oriented nurse who was easy to contact. This clinic is a rare gem in our modern healthcare system.

I received care here to monitor my twin pregnancy through 31 weeks. The midwife I worked with was helpful throughout, but I was told I had to deliver at Marshfield Hospital in Eau Claire. Because it was out of network, I had to obtain prior authorization from my insurance. I then learned that I could not deliver there and was told I had to transfer all my care to Marshfield Hospital in Marshfield and obtain 2 new prior authorizations. This could take time because the first took several weeks. I had arranged all of this at around 20 weeks so I would be prepared. I gave up on traveling so far with twins and went somewhere covered by my insurance. Being told to go somewhere I could not actually go, and having to transfer care late in pregnancy, caused a major headache and a great deal of stress. They do not know what they are doing for their patients. I am truly disappointed.

I met with Haley Roberts to continue our infertility journey and highly recommend her. She was very kind and patiently answered all our questions. I felt fully heard and highly recommend her!

My wife was pregnant after 7 previous miscarriages, yet we were treated like a number on a list. There was no bedside manner. We had an ultrasound and blood draw, and the only time anyone spoke with us was to give instructions. We never saw our doctor, with whom we had previously discussed our situation. He always told my wife she could lose weight, although I saw dozens of pregnant women in the waiting room who were heavier than she was. We then had a second blood draw and discussed some light bleeding. We still did not see our doctor, and the nurses would not advise us about what might be happening. We asked for our doctor to answer questions at our next appointment. Three days later, we still had not received the blood test results. We finally contacted the clinic, and they told us they had lost our blood sample! So we scheduled another draw that day. By then, my wife had lost too much blood, and we were certain she had miscarried. At the appointment, there was no doctor, only a nurse who drew blood. This was upsetting because we had contacted my sister-in-law. After hearing how we were being treated, she contacted her obstetrician, who gave us information about tests the doctor could order. But that did not happen because the doctor still did not appear. At the end of the appointment, we asked to schedule a meeting with a new doctor so we could speak with the clinic supervisor. The new doctor canceled on the appointment day for family reasons, which was understandable. But when they opened at 8, the supervisor could not speak with us, so it was a wasted trip. I am not satisfied with this or any experience at this clinic. I now plan to delay paying the bill until someone calls me to address my complaint. If you truly need help becoming pregnant, do not waste your time at this clinic. Apart from the miscarriage, my least favorite part was receiving a long automated message after every appointment from our doctor thanking us for seeing him.

I made an appointment for IUD removal and family planning. The attending nurse suggested that I have labiaplasty. This was unsolicited and baseless, and I had not asked any related questions or mentioned any discomfort or concerns. It was completely unnecessary. I left in tears and will never return.

I cannot say enough good things about everyone here. Dr. Crow and his team are amazing. They guided me through my procedure step by step. They explained every detail, ensured I made the best choice, and were outstanding at every step after I made my decision. The surgery went very well. Recovery was smooth, and they followed up frequently. I am so glad I chose this clinic. Mayo Clinic could learn a great deal from you about personalized care. Amazing! Thank you again.

I came here in the past and had a great OB-GYN experience. Recently, I developed a breast issue. An OB-GYN I had seen there previously had prescribed birth control, so I called today about the breast concern. I was told they were busy and fully booked, and the receptionist acted as though my concern or condition was not sufficient to be seen at this office—even though the website says they provide women's health services and breast exams. I hung up feeling alone and uncared for. I suppose no one needs to care about my body except me, so I called another clinic. I do not want to go anywhere that makes me feel my health is unimportant or that they are too busy to care. This healthcare system is a joke. Do not ask for a breast exam; they will imply it does not matter.

I recently had a colposcopy with Lauren and had been nervous beforehand. Her clear explanations and reassurance eased my concerns and made the procedure go smoothly. I highly recommend her professional care!

Dr. Kramer and her team care deeply for their patients. She is always fully supportive, does everything possible to provide timely answers, and carefully considers her patients' feelings. For anyone struggling with infertility, Dr. Kramer is exactly the kind of doctor you need, no matter where you are in your journey.

Over the past year, I worked with the midwives through a miscarriage and a subsequent pregnancy. Although the midwives rotated on call, everyone stayed informed, appointments ran on time, and I never felt rushed. Although some laboratory results were within the normal range, they addressed my symptoms promptly and worked to improve several values, which helped me feel much better. Unfortunately, because the Oakleaf midwives do not have delivery privileges anywhere, I had to transfer to hospital care late in pregnancy. My hospital experience was difficult, so I completed all follow-up care with the Oakleaf midwives. I would absolutely recommend them!

Dr Crow and his nurses were great during the hysterectomy process. If you want to feel like you matter, I highly suggest Dr Crow!

The doctors are knowledgeable, listen carefully, and support informed consent. This is an excellent place for prenatal care, with highly skilled physicians.

Dr. Crow is amazing, and I highly recommend him for gynecologic care! He is a strong advocate for women, especially those who choose to be child-free. He offers pain management options for colposcopies if you ask. I also recommend that anyone who thinks they have endometriosis make an appointment with him. He will not gaslight you and will explain every available option.
