I am very pleased to work with Mari at Pacific In Vitro. Her responsiveness and efficiency are unmatched. She provided quick and accurate answers to my many questions and put me at ease. She is very patient and takes excellent care of her clients—very motherly, pun intended. Thank you for everything, Mari!

I had a male sample analysis done here. The sample collection room you can enter with your spouse (Room 829A) was filthy. It looked as though it had not been cleaned for months: the shelves and pictures were covered in thick dust. The walls, floor, and shelves were splattered with bodily fluids (you know what kind!). There were greasy handprints on the wall beside the sofa. There was also hair, dirt, and dried bodily fluid on the floor. I cannot believe this was in a hospital. I will never return.

Pacific In Vitro provides excellent service. Dr. Celia Dominguez's expertise and clear explanations gave us confidence in every decision, while Nurse Chantel's warmth and attentive care made every visit easy and pleasant. We are very grateful to their team.

Dr. Kosasa helped us conceive our son, and we will always be grateful. He took exceptional care of both my husband and me throughout the process. He is compassionate, patient, and truly listens to patients' concerns. His kindness and dedication meant so much during such an important time in our lives. His team was also outstanding and gave us tremendous support. We highly recommend Dr. Kosasa to anyone seeking a compassionate and attentive physician.

Pacific In Vitro Institute not only gave us the opportunity to build a family; they became family to us. We could not have done this without them and their continued support. We looked forward to every appointment and were always welcomed with incredible warmth. Science is amazing, and we will always be grateful to the Pacific In Vitro Institute family!

While working with another clinic in California, I used Pacific In Vitro for outside monitoring. Pacific In Vitro was an essential part of the process and made everything, including communication, as smooth as possible. Their staff were exceptional. They quickly learned my name, recognized me, and knew my latest updates and next steps as if I were one of their own patients. Dr. Dominguez was also extremely supportive and reassuring. Special thanks to Rick, who even made blood draws easy and enjoyable! I feel very fortunate to have been part of their team and to have had such a wonderful experience. Mahalo!

Dr. Kosasa and his team (nurses and staff) were supportive throughout our entire process. We do not live on Oahu, but Dr. Kosasa and his team was able to seamlessly correspond on all medical needs and updates. Emails and phone calls were always replied to as well as coordination for prescriptions and medical exams. Together, we were able to have our miracle baby! Extra appreciation goes to Mrs. Mari, she helped to spearhead our IVF journey and continues to support us with the process. Thank you so much Dr. Kosasa and your team!

Going through fertility treatments is an emotional rollercoaster. We had our share of painful ups and downs with egg retrieval failures and miscarriages after implantation, but the team at Pacific In Vitro was always our anchor. They worked tirelessly to find a solution, and we are now blessed with two beautiful boys. Dr. D is phenomenal and the best in her field—knowing that she personally performs her own procedures gave us so much reassurance. No matter what heartbreak or hope you carry, this staff genuinely goes through it with you.

I cannot say enough good things about this clinic and its staff. They were very supportive, friendly, and caring. At every appointment, I felt fully informed and thoughtfully cared for. Dr. Kosasa is very gentle and knowledgeable. The nursing team is first-rate, and the service from the clinic manager, Mari, is impeccable! You will be glad you chose Pacific In Vitro!

Stay away from Pacific IVF. Our experience was marked by a lack of transparency, questionable billing practices, and unprofessional conduct during one of the most important times in our lives. They added assisted hatching to our bill without explanation or consent. Because the procedure lacks strong evidence-based medical support, I had to argue to have it removed. They agreed and did not perform it, but a month later we still received a bill plus a late fee of 157 dollars. The medication costs were far above market rates, and they refused to provide itemized receipts, so we had no clear understanding of what we had paid for. They also tried to charge us for two months of embryo storage when our only embryo was stored there for about three weeks. They forced us to undergo expensive testing at their clinic even though the same FDA testing was available locally at a more reliable clinic for a lower price. The transfer itself was also unacceptable. Dr. D demanded absolute silence, saying things such as, “No talking,” and, “If I could, I would put you all to sleep.” When she realized that the uterus was retroverted, she said, “I am not experimenting. I feel lucky. Let's take a chance.” This was an embryo transfer. The room was already quiet, and this level of tension and commentary was entirely unnecessary and unprofessional. I had two successful embryo transfers at another clinic and was never asked to remain silent. In fact, we spoke with the different doctors throughout both procedures. The post-transfer care was even more concerning. We were told to stop estradiol (Delestrogen) at 6 weeks, but when I asked again, Dr. D gave conflicting information and even cited an AI-generated response acknowledging that stopping the medication could increase the risk of miscarriage. At 8 weeks, Dr. D tried to transfer monitoring to her private practice and bill both us and the insurance company. This was never clearly disclosed and was only mentioned after I questioned why no clinic appointment had been scheduled. We immediately transferred care to the surrogate's obstetrician. This clinic repeatedly added charges without consent, collected as much money as possible, and communicated poorly. We had to discover and correct their errors ourselves again and again. If you must use this clinic, be extremely cautious and question everything. However, I strongly recommend researching other, more reliable clinics on the island first. I wish I had explored the other options more thoroughly before deciding to use this clinic.

I highly recommend Dr. Kosasa and Pacific In Vitro. The IVF journey is challenging, but the entire team's attentive care, professionalism, and tremendous support made the whole experience wonderful from beginning to end. The entire process was seamless. The nurses were exceptionally thoughtful and attentive, and gave me tremendous support, especially Hong, who played an essential role throughout my journey. Dr. Kosasa's extensive experience and professionalism gave me great confidence. I was also deeply encouraged by the opportunity to speak briefly with the dedicated scientists working behind the scenes. Pacific In Vitro created a warm, caring, and positive environment that made this potentially emotional time feel much easier and more pleasant. I look forward to returning in the future to welcome my second baby. Thank you to Dr. Kosasa, Hong, and the entire team for all your hard work!

We have received numerous incorrect invoices from this business. They double charged us multiple times and added additional charges for services that we never consented to. Overall a very poor experience here.

Dr. Kosasa is an amazing, caring, and compassionate doctor. I was very fortunate and blessed to have him as my obstetric specialist. In 2007, I went to Pacific In Vitro and conceived my son, JoshuaDavid Jaictin. Dr. Kosasa delivered him in 2008. He is now 17 and a high-school junior. He is an honor student, has played piano very well for many years, and is caring and intelligent. Next year, in 2026, he will graduate from Moanalua High School and plans to attend the engineering school at the University of Hawaii at Manoa before continuing his studies at a mainland university. My son has taken engineering courses throughout high school. He also works in film and multimedia and hopes to make a movie someday. Thank you, Dr. Kosasa, for bringing so much joy into my life and Joshua's. Joshua is such a loving blessing in this world. I truly recommend Pacific In Vitro. The nurses and entire team provided excellent care throughout the IVF process. I worked in nursing for many years as a certified medical assistant, specializing in pediatrics, family medicine, and OB-GYN. I forgot to leave a review—perhaps because I worked in healthcare. This review is long overdue. I am deeply grateful to Pacific In Vitro.
