We had a wonderful experience at this clinic! They were very helpful and responsive. The staff were kind, and both doctors were friendly, efficient, and focused. Considering how busy they are, they did an excellent job without long waits. We are very grateful for the care we received at this clinic!

They have the rudest staff. It is worth driving anywhere else.

They kept me waiting a long time. Every time they answered, they said, 'Please hold,' and then left me waiting for more than 10 minutes. I made sure to call back every 10 minutes. All I wanted was a quote.

After reading the reviews, I was afraid to go here, but what options did I have locally? None. I wanted IUI because everything I had read suggested that at 42 I had almost no chance without help. My day 3 levels were amazing—like those of a 25-year-old, if I may brag—but the doctor said I would need fertility medication with IUI. That would make each attempt cost thousands, and I could not use someone else's sperm unless we were married. I asked myself why. I ovulate like clockwork, and even my PCP says that when reviewing my tests he forgets I am 42 rather than 24. The doctor also wanted me to have an HSG first and get another opinion about my thyroid, which was completely appropriate and sensible. An HSG should be done when anyone begins trying. The problem was that I sat in the lobby for an hour, with no one else there except a young woman coming and going, apparently for the lab or something. The receptionist did not say a word to me during that time. I was then called into another room and sat alone for 20 minutes before seeing the doctor. The excuse was that he likes to be thorough with every patient. He was pleasant, but the entire office raised red flags. I waited all that time only for him to tell me that even with IUI and medication I had a 5% chance of pregnancy—“a very small chance.” It was the most discouraging thing anyone had done to me in a single day. How can they tell us we have almost no chance when they do not know us at all? Do we suddenly become worthless after 40? I expected to have the HSG and get clearance, but it never happened because I began trying at home in November 2024 and was pregnant by the end of December 2024. On 01/22, my 43rd birthday, I will be 3 weeks+2 (CA)—or 5 weeks if you want it to sound like a ridiculous medical experiment—and those test lines are dark! I have now joined an online group with countless women over 40 having babies naturally. All the noise in online articles and doctors' “expert opinions” seems like nonsense. Know your body and cycle, and know that you can do it. Do not let anyone tell you that you have almost no chance or pressure you into unnecessary medication for $$$$. If you have a genuine fertility problem, perhaps this office can help. I do not know, because they were completely negative from day one. For women who are struggling, I would honestly skip an initial visit here and not even try this clinic merely because it is close in LR. There are genuine warning signs in how they mishandle appointments, callbacks, people's time, and more; they mentioned that the clinic is always behind. These issues should not be ignored. I was possibly one of only two patients that morning, and they still could not get organized. If someone's kitchen were dirty, would you eat their food? For a process this important, I would look outside the city for other options. In the time I waited to be seen, I could have driven to another fertility clinic. Just search online and do not settle. *** September 22, 2025*** My little birthday twin will be here.

I always wait at least an hour to be seen here. I do not know why this doctor constantly overbooks and runs an hour late for every appointment, but it is extremely frustrating.

A family member goes here, and I often accompany her. It is a wonderful place. Both doctors at this location are very pleasant, always make you feel important, and answer every question. Shannon, one of the MAs, truly shines. She is constantly on the move. She is so pleasant and always makes you feel comfortable and at ease. She is a respectable and lovely woman. The only negative thing I can say has nothing to do with our treatment, which has been excellent. I have visited several times and noticed another MA who does not seem to do much. Shannon appears to be the person who brings 99% of the patients back from the lobby, rooms them, joins the doctor in the room, and draws blood. Many times, I noticed the other person sitting at the desk on her phone. While we were there, I saw her scrolling TikTok, texting, or reading a magazine. Do not misunderstand me—I use my phone at work too—but it seems very unfair when one person does so much work while another does very little. I have witnessed this on many occasions and do not understand why the others who work at this clinic every day do not see it. It truly puzzles me. Aside from what I observed as an outsider, I would rate this place five stars, and most of the people working there seem happy to be there.

3 different appointments and we waited 3+ hours each time. Don’t expect them to respect your time. There’s more to being a doctor than surgery and consultations.

This clinic is amazing! The doctors, laboratory staff, nurses, and office staff were compassionate and wonderful to my husband and me. They are very busy, and wait times can be long depending on how appointments align with patients' cycles. Sometimes you may wait 5 minutes and sometimes more than an hour. Unfortunately, that is the nature of IVF. I never leave reviews, but I wanted to share mine after seeing many negative comments about the staff. One staff member, Toya, was there through my highest and lowest moments. I will never forget her. I would give them 10 stars if I could.
16/02/2025
We had a wonderful experience at AFG. After struggling with infertility and trying 4 IUIs, we came here for IVF as our final option. We were fortunate that it worked! Everyone was very welcoming and made us feel comfortable. Toya was definitely our favorite! She reassured us countless times, and we will always be grateful to the entire AFG team.

Many thanks to Dr. Moutos for all his efforts on my behalf! Doctors in Memphis told me I would never become pregnant because my anti-Müllerian hormone (AMH) was extremely low. They said my only chance was to use donor eggs. Dr. Moutos was willing to try intrauterine insemination (IUI), and after only three cycles, I became pregnant—with twins! My two babies are now four months old and perfect in every way. Thank you so much!

The front desk is terrible! They were extremely rude and confrontational for no reason. Simply scheduling an appointment left me in tears! We had the same problem a few months ago when my husband brought in a sample for semen analysis and the front desk humiliated him. The staff at that desk need to be replaced. The last thing anyone experiencing infertility needs is hostility at the door. If this were not the only clinic within 50 miles, I would call somewhere else! Avoiding these women would be worth it!

This is not the most welcoming place. I do not know whether it was only my experience, but there were problems from the front desk to the clinical area. My treatment did not proceed as I expected. There was always an obstacle or roadblock. Ultimately, I did not receive the treatment or care I believed I deserved, and I left where I started: unable to become pregnant or have a family of my own. They were rude and disrespectful and did not consider my feelings during treatment. Dr. Moe did an excellent job on my corrective surgery, but sadly, I do not know whether it worked or will work because the APN disrupted my treatment from the time I was there. Surgery became a struggle because of my potassium, then my obesity, and there was always another issue. They have now blocked my portal access, so I suppose I must find somewhere else. Dr. Rufus Thrower's office referred me to them. They performed corrective surgery and opened my fallopian tubes but refused to prescribe medication to help me ovulate and regulate my cycles, so it was all for nothing. I wasted time and money I cannot recover, and I still do not have the family I want. I am left wondering what happened and what I did. Do I not deserve the chance to have my own family? Is it because I am single? Is it because I am African American? I do not know and probably never will. The APN is also the general manager, and she made sure I knew it. I may never understand the problem, but I suppose this is not a place for someone like me or someone with the issues I experienced. I will not post screenshots of the messages because that would be tacky. Good luck to anyone venturing into the unknown at Arkansas Fertility & Gynecology.

I am a mother of three seeking tubal reversal surgery. I have remarried, and we want a child together. That should not be a problem, should it? Although I have weakness in my limbs from a genetic condition, I am an experienced mother who has remained committed to breastfeeding. Yet he focused excessively on my physical condition and completely disregarded my three pregnancies, deliveries, and medical records. Dr. Moutos requested records from my most recent visit, even though they had nothing to do with tubal reversal. He ordered various tests, and because we were paying out of pocket, we spent $650 on ultrasound, laboratory testing, and appointments, only to remain in a gray area for months about whether he would proceed. He even wanted to speak with my neurosurgeon about my reproductive choices, though I cannot imagine what he wanted to ask. It was humiliating. He also kept trying to persuade us to pursue IVF. We were excited and willing to pay the full surgical cost, yet despite apparently making his decision at the first appointment, he prolonged the process and gave us unrealistic hope. Nurse Sarah informed us of his decision and said he would call within the next two or three days. He did not even show us the courtesy or respect of personally explaining the outcome and his recommendations.

I cannot understand the many negative reviews online. We were treated by Dr. Moutes and his resident team. My AMH was very low, and I could not ovulate naturally. He performed a hysteroscopy and hysterosalpingogram (HSG). He was direct and efficient. A year later, after multiple tests and one canceled medicated cycle due to a persistent cyst, my first intrauterine insemination (IUI) with 7.5 mg of letrozole succeeded. He worked actively with us to ensure results. His nurses, residents, and Holly at the front desk were all very kind! Thanks to Dr. Moutes and his colleagues, I became pregnant with my first baby at age 29. I am so grateful that he helped us have our lovely daughter. This clinic is professional without being cold, and they are absolutely competent. Please give them a try!

Not inclusive at all—quite the opposite. My fertility insurance would not even cover this clinic because its success rates are too low.

I had an excellent experience at this clinic. All the doctors and staff were very kind and treated me with great respect. Several of my friends also received treatment here with very good results. The doctors and nurses were patient and thoughtful and took excellent care of my husband and me.

We want to thank Dr. Batres, Dr. Moutos, and the entire Arkansas Fertility Center team. After struggling with uterine fibroids for several years, we finally began IVF. Even though English is not our first language, they patiently and thoroughly explained and discussed every detail with us. From 2023 to 2026, we attempted two cycles, with a one-year break because of winter weather and personal preference. Our daughter was born on March 15, 2026. Throughout the pregnancy she did well, and all ultrasounds, fetal anomaly screening, fetal heart monitoring, and other results were Category 1 (Cat1), etc. We sincerely recommend this team to anyone hoping to build a family. ❤️❤️❤️

I just want to say that we were worried going into this scenario, but the nurses were amazing and kind and easy going, got along with everyone and being there so often really got to know everyone well and felt cared for and our situation was taken uniquely. We were very satisfied. We got in , AND was pregnant within 4 months. I recommend you don't listen to these reviews , I think in these scenes hormones are racing, emotional and people maybe easier misunderstood. I thank them for helping us so much and owe them our baby!

We are incredibly grateful to Dr. Moutos and the entire AR Fertility team. After experiencing secondary infertility and recurrent miscarriages, we came to them seeking answers and hope—and they gave us both. Dr. Moutos is extremely knowledgeable and patiently answered all my questions with clear, thorough explanations. I especially appreciated that he always listened carefully when I advocated for myself, whether I asked about specific tests, treatment options, or next steps. I always felt heard, respected, and involved in our treatment plan. Thanks to their attentive care and support, we conceived and welcomed our precious baby boy. We will always be grateful for the role they played in growing our family.

In 2024, my primary care physician recommended a fertility evaluation. I scheduled a self-pay appointment and had an ultrasound and laboratory testing. About a week later, I was sent back to my hometown for additional testing. The doctor told me to contact the clinic at a certain point in my menstrual cycle to schedule a hysterosalpingogram. As instructed, I sent a message through the website and later left several voicemails at the clinic, but I never received a response. At the time, the only option was to call and leave a message; no one ever answered. To this day, I have not heard anything from the clinic. I never received my test results, never scheduled the X-ray, and no one at the clinic ever spoke to me again. Several months later, my primary care physician asked how things had gone and finally requested my records. The visit was a waste of money and a two-hour drive.

I do not understand how this facility is still operating. The staff are extremely rude and entirely lacking in compassion. You might think they would show at least some empathy, but this facility has none. I strongly recommend going elsewhere, even if you have to travel out of state.

The doctor and staff were attentive and friendly. The doctor explained throughout what was happening or needed to happen. My husband and I are very grateful to Dr. Batres for his help and support!
