I had the best experience at Downtown Women. I came to the practice after a very stressful experience at another clinic early in my pregnancy. Dr. Benedetto truly transformed my entire pregnancy experience. From our first conversation, I knew she would listen, offer guidance, and do everything possible to ensure my baby and I received the best care at every step. Her expertise is matched by her passion for care, and I truly could not have found a better doctor. The practice overall is also very professional, responsive, and easy to work with. The other doctors I met were equally outstanding, and the office staff were consistently reliable. I cannot express how grateful I am for the care from Dr. Benedetto and this team!

Dr. Benedetto is a blessing. I have been a patient since 2000. Of my 5 children, she delivered 4—she returned to Italy for the 5th—and comforted me through two miscarriages. She is absolutely worth the trip from Long Island to New York. She is knowledgeable and cares for the whole person. My husband loves her too.

The service was wonderful, and I felt very welcome. Jenny Ye is truly the best! She was very thorough and, most importantly, extremely kind. She made me feel completely heard, and her warmth and friendliness made all the difference. She deserves every compliment! I received such prompt and thoughtful care. This practice is fantastic, from the front desk staff to the nurses and doctors. Throughout my pregnancy, I saw Dr. Benedetto for all my appointments. She made me feel comfortable, and I always trusted that I was in the best hands with her. I genuinely looked forward to my visits with her and the entire team. For the actual birth, Dr. Anzai was the doctor on call. I had met him briefly once before, so I didn’t have the same rapport with him as I did with Dr. Benedetto. However, he was incredibly calm and reassuring throughout my labor. I experienced minor complications during delivery, and he was amazing at keeping me calm and ensuring a smooth and safe delivery of my baby. I’m so grateful for the care I received and highly recommend this practice!

I have had wonderful experiences with both Dr. Benedetto and Dr. Anzai! Dr. Benedetto was my OB-GYN during my second pregnancy, and Dr. Anzai is now guiding me through my third. After moving away from Manhattan, their Westchester office was a major advantage for me. Both provide exceptional care, are warm and thoughtful, offer flexible appointment times, and listen very well. I have never had any complaints. I highly recommend them!

I initially chose this clinic because it was close to home and highly rated, but I deeply regret receiving obstetric care here. My first prenatal appointment was scheduled with a doctor leaving the clinic one week later, and the front-desk team failed to follow up appropriately. Clinic manager Brandie Hurrell was arrogant and rude, mishandled claims, and was unreachable despite repeated attempts by me and my insurer because my submitted visits were missing from their system. Having Anthem PPO coverage in two states complicated matters, but instead of following the insurer's instructions and working with me, she mocked my understanding of deductibles. My insurer confirmed that prenatal care would be fully covered if she submitted the claim because no visit record existed in my account. Anthem tried to contact her 4 times while I was also on the line, but she never answered. I lost confidence in their ability to manage my care. I do not recommend them for time-sensitive obstetric care and hope this helps other pregnant patients, since transferring late in pregnancy is difficult. Patient education was poor, test timing was unclear, and ultrasounds were outsourced to another clinic that handled insurance much better and successfully matched my coverage. I also recommend reading the one- and two-star reviews for a clearer picture of how this clinic operates.

I just learned that they charged me hundreds of dollars for genetic testing without any prior communication, and worse, they did not even test for the condition I was concerned about. This is appalling.

I have been a patient at this clinic for nearly ten years, which made this experience especially disappointing. I recently contacted the clinic with a question related to my treatment but repeatedly received incomplete answers and conflicting information before ultimately being passed between departments. Instead of clear communication and professional guidance, my reasonable follow-up questions were largely brushed aside and received little response. I understand that the clinic cannot resolve every issue directly. However, as a long-term patient, I expected more professional, thoughtful, and proactive communication, not to be dismissed in such a frustrating situation.

Dr. Benedetto has been my obstetrician-gynecologist for over 16 years. She delivered both of my daughters—one is now almost a teenager and the other is already in her teens! From pregnancy and delivery to my approaching perimenopause, she has always been the doctor I trust most. I have always felt that placing my children in her care was the best choice! I see her every year and look forward to every visit because I know she will take excellent care of me. That feeling is precious and uncommon. If you are looking for a licensed acupuncturist who listens and uses a gentle technique, David is an excellent choice. A friend referred me to him. He has helped reduce inflammation in multiple joints, relieve back pain, and improve my overall health. After each treatment, I feel more relaxed, my back and wrist pain disappear, and my sleep improves. I have been a loyal patient of Dr. Cheon for 13 years. A colleague recommended her practice when I was considering starting a family, and I am so glad. She guided me through two "geriatric pregnancies" at ages 38 and 40, so we spent a great deal of time together. Over the years, she always listened and guided me using evidence and experience. I am fortunate to have a doctor who knows me better than my primary care physician. I was also delighted to have Dr. Benedetto deliver both my daughters. She was an excellent coach throughout and worked with Dr. Cheon to ensure I had a good experience even when Hurricane Sandy closed NYU! Thank you both so much!

I was referred to Dr. Cheon after a poor experience with another doctor. I am very glad I received the referral because I could not have asked for a better experience during pregnancy and delivery. She perfectly combines professionalism and empathy. She was always informative and helpful during appointments, clearly explaining what she was doing and the results, and providing guidance on future visits and what to watch for and prepare. She also helped ease my emotions and anxiety when I had concerns, especially as a first-time mother. She and her office were very responsive to after-hours calls, and she made great efforts to attend her patients' deliveries. She was present for my son's birth and helped make the experience as smooth as I hoped. She also attended most appointments, missing only a couple because she was delivering other patients' babies. I had a wonderful experience with all her office staff: they were helpful, flexible with appointments, and ran the office efficiently.
