I like the billing department and staff, but I am less satisfied with the providers. Review of Dr. Moffitt: We researched IVF doctors and reviewed ratings to choose a provider, and we liked the reviews for Dr. Drew Moffitt. However, our experience was not the same as others'. My husband had a sperm issue, so we wanted to proceed with IVF. Dr. Moffitt did not believe we had a chance of having our own child with my eggs. This news broke our hearts. He clearly stated that we needed an egg donor. I asked other doctors, including my primary obstetrician, who said that recommendation should be a last resort. We began treatment at another fertility clinic in Arizona. We have now had our own child using our own eggs and sperm. He was born completely healthy after one cycle. I normally dislike giving someone a poor review, but I left Dr. Moffitt's office deeply discouraged because he did not help our situation. If someone feels the same and reads this review, my best advice is always to seek a second opinion. Other doctors are willing to help and give you a fighting chance. Review of Natalie Obicher: She is the best financial adviser I have encountered. She kindly discussed pricing and expectations and checked my insurance coverage. Whenever she could send something for preauthorization before the deadline, she did. IVF costs are stressful in my view, but she made everything easy. She is the positive aspect of this review; otherwise, I would give ARMS 1 star. Thank you, Natalie!

Forever grateful to ARMS and Dr. Moffitt! We love our little miracle so much! We can never thank you enough for making our greatest dream come true!

Never in my life have I had to pay for a phone visit before an appointment. On the morning of the appointment, I received 4 invoice emails and an advance voicemail stating that the appointment would be canceled if I did not pay. Keep in mind that this was a follow-up call about fertility testing I had already attended and paid for. They wanted a $170 phone fee before the call. Stay away from this place and read the reviews. I wish I had. On top of everything, my wife had laboratory work done, and they lost it! What a waste of time and energy.

Excellent service. I now have my child, and this clinic is wonderful.

I called about becoming a new patient, and the woman who answered when I selected the new-patient option knew nothing. She was also rude. Even after I explained that I did not need egg retrieval, she told me FET would cost at least $8,000, which is incorrect. When I asked how long postpartum they wanted me to wait before scheduling, she said I needed to ask a doctor and that she was only front-desk staff, with an attitude. I asked how I could know when to book if I did not know how far postpartum they required, and received even more attitude. This interaction alone told me this was not a place to trust with my embryos or rely on for compassion as I prepare to begin this highly emotional journey again. I honestly could not believe the conversation. She should not answer phones or represent this company.

Thank you to Arizona Reproductive Medicine Specialists for helping me realize my dream of becoming a mother again when I had lost hope. Dr. Moffitt gave me new hope. Thanks to him and his entire team, today I have realized my dream again. The nurses and the entire team are very kind people who gave me every possible form of assistance and always answered 100% of my questions. Thank you very much for your support.

Terrible person on the phone. I received a voicemail about scheduling a semen analysis, and the woman could not stop laughing when she mentioned it. It made me very uncomfortable, and I will not call back to schedule anything. When it comes to my health, I will not work with people who are unprofessional, childish, and rude. I would rather go elsewhere.

The team is wonderful! The doctors care. Thank you, ARMS team. I cannot wait to hold my baby in my arms!
21/02/2025
Many thanks to Cinthia and Yesenia, who helped me greatly and were very patient throughout my process. Thanks to the doctor, my dream came true. I am waiting for the moment when I can hold my baby and send them a photo so other women know it is possible.

My wife and I had a decent experience. In the beginning there was a lot of miscommunication that’s why I didn’t give a 5 star. This made our experience stressful Dr. drew made things right. Dr. Drew is very compassionate and answers all questions. He really takes the time to learn what is best for his patients. The process was very fast didn’t experience any rude staff. There is one African American lady I forgot her name my apologies. She is so kind very helpful and compassionate. I am glad we decided to choose ARMS. Thank you the McKinley family.

I called to ask about their services and was disappointed that they neither offer testing or treatment for HHV-6A nor know what it is. I worry that many women may undergo IVF without complete testing and get no results because this HHV variant or its effect on the environment needed for embryo survival is not understood. One study found the virus in 43% of infertile women and 0% of women of reproductive age. That seems significant, especially when treatment may be a simple one-month antiviral course rather than thousands of dollars for IVF. Do they truly not know, or do they prefer the expensive route regardless of outcome? I would be cautious about clinics unfamiliar with causes of recurrent miscarriage or implantation failure. You may spend thousands and invest great hope without treating the actual cause. I have five children and previously conceived very easily. I developed sepsis in 2018, and infertility was diagnosed when we tried for another child. My IVF clinic was in Mexico. After limited testing, they retrieved 23 eggs, with a few missed and only a small number unusable. Several transfers implanted but ended in miscarriage between 4+5 and 6+2 weeks, with no fetal pole. I donated the remaining eggs because I became pregnant easily and believed something deeper was causing the losses. Four years later, in March this year, I developed a rash diagnosed as pityriasis rosea, associated with HHV-6 and HHV-7. My research began there. HHV-6A differs from HHV-6B and is strongly associated with infertility and recurrent miscarriage. It may be common and can become active after long COVID or other illness. If this is my issue, I believe the sepsis triggered it. My Mexican clinic did acknowledge that sepsis can cause infertility, but I wanted local treatment before traveling abroad. I am sharing this so women understand that clinics may not know all the different causes of infertility and recurrent miscarriage before choosing one.

They canceled my appointment without communication or notice because I submitted the questionnaire in their portal six days before my phone appointment rather than seven. I had to call on the appointment day to ask what happened before they told me.

I had previously visited two other companies. ARMS is efficient and has a professional, calm office environment. I have recommended it to two friends considering IVF.

My boyfriend and I recently addressed this with Dr. Moffitt. We were very pleased with how the situation was handled. Thank you, and God bless you, Dr. Moffitt and your staff! Special appreciation for Qingmei 😊

I have been coming here for the past year while trying to conceive my first child, and I am happy to share that I recently learned I am pregnant! I especially want to thank the entire team. Cynthia checks me in every time and makes it feel like family. She always welcomes me warmly with a smile, one of the best parts of coming here. Jahaira, God bless her, is a wonderful medical assistant. Even though I am a “hard stick,” she succeeds every time. Amy is my nurse, and I ask her many questions. Although I sometimes feel I may annoy her, she always responds promptly. Dr. Moffitt, thank you!! I know my case was difficult, but it looks like you have helped me tremendously! Tonight I am looking forward to my first ultrasound next week :) Thank you, ARMS team.

Five stars because the staff genuinely care. Communication during cycles could sometimes improve, but their dedication shines through everything they do. We have completed two IVF rounds and several IUIs. Our first two pregnancies ended in miscarriage, and we are now pregnant for a third time. With every heartbreak, their compassion and empathy helped us through. We are not out of danger yet, but I know everyone at ARMS is supporting us. No clinic is perfect, but I am very grateful we chose them. This process teaches patience in ways you never imagined. It teaches you to accept what you cannot control and remain hopeful when that feels impossible. Be patient and kind with them—they are doing everything they can to help you realize your dream. Thank you to the entire team—medical assistants, nurse practitioners, registered nurses, and technicians—for your kindness, warmth, and support at every step. Dr. Moffitt is an excellent surgeon. Although his technique is not always gentle, I know he sincerely wants the best treatment for his patients. We are deeply grateful to all of you.

My partner and I decided to pursue IVF late last year. We initially visited another clinic, but it did not feel right. We then consulted Dr. Moffitt at ARMS and are glad we decided to proceed. Everything was well organized from the beginning. Wendy helped us understand costs and insurance. The staff were always friendly. Teana was professional and answered all my questions in detail. After our first and only transfer, I am now in my second trimester. We are very grateful to the ARMS team for making our dream come true. Thank you so much! Patricia

My name is Loida, and I am a patient of Dr. Moffitt at ARMS. He is an excellent doctor—respectful and kind—and his team took very attentive care of me. Cinthya Silvas and Yesennia are also wonderful people, and I made more than one friend there. Today I am three months pregnant. I highly recommend them and am very grateful for everything they did for us.

⸻ ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Five stars for Dr. Moffitt and the entire ARMS team My husband and I are profoundly grateful to Dr. Moffitt and everyone at ARMS. From our first visit, we felt we were receiving the best care. Dr. Moffitt is honest, direct, and compassionate—he tells you exactly what you need to know while offering realistic hope. The ARMS team treats you like family. During one of the most important journeys of our lives, every nurse, technician, and staff member showed kindness, professionalism, and genuine care. Thanks to Dr. Moffitt's expertise and the ARMS team's dedication, we feel we truly have a chance to build the family of our dreams. We strongly recommend them. — Dusty and Jennifer Ash

Over the years, I have had many problems contacting the office. Calls during business hours often go unanswered. Several times, I stopped by during business hours only to find the doors locked and no one there. The last time I spoke with someone, they told me to come during business hours to sign paperwork. I did... and no one was there...

Today was my first visit. There had been some communication errors beforehand, but Cynthia at reception and manager Yesenia were both very kind and helpful. The issue was resolved, and we met Dr. Linda, who was lovely and always smiling.

Without Dr. Moffitt's help, our family would not have this amazing little one. It was a wonderful experience!
20/10/2025
We had an excellent experience with Dr. Moffitt and his team. Communication was very good throughout, which I found uncommon at other centers. Thanks to ARMS, we have two healthy babies.

The best understanding.

BE VERY CAREFUL WITH THESE PEOPLE! Currently going through the process with them, so many hidden fees and additional exams that they don’t tell you about. Be prepared to spend much more than they tell you in the beginning. We wanted two embryos only for them to tell us they couldn’t do it anymore due to a new insurance policy. They know you won’t stop the process once you start so they take advantage of that fact. Once our process is done I want nothing else from these deceiving doctors.
31/12/2025
I called to schedule an appointment, and I think my accountant would have been more professional and helpful discussing IVF than their receptionist. The woman assumed my gender, got every detail I gave her wrong—I said 310, and she said 103, among other errors—could not pronounce "embryo," and had no idea what a transfer cycle was. It was alarming! I immediately decided to cancel the appointment. I suggest hiring a better receptionist because this is very discouraging to prospective patients.

Dr. Moffitt and the entire ARMS team are exceptional. IVF is an extremely difficult, emotional, and overwhelming journey, and choosing the right doctor and clinic is essential. From our first visit, Dr. Moffitt showed tremendous compassion, honesty, and knowledge. He patiently explained every step, answered every question, and helped us feel at ease during an uncertain process. The nurses and staff at ARMS were equally wonderful—kind, patient, and supportive on both the difficult and hopeful days. IVF is not easy physically or emotionally, but having a team that genuinely cares makes the process manageable and gives you the confidence to continue. Thanks to Dr. Moffitt and his team, our first baby is now 10 months old, and we are incredibly grateful. Every injection, appointment, and anxious moment was worth it, and we will always thank ARMS for helping us realize our dream of parenthood. We highly recommend Dr. Moffitt and ARMS to anyone considering IVF.

My partner and I have only just begun our treatment journey at ARMS, but everything has been excellent so far. Dr. Moffitt is approachable, direct, and thorough in explaining the process and available options. He clearly identified what was required and what was optional. The front desk staff are always warm, friendly, and patient when we call. The IVF coordinator (nurse) is outstanding. She explained the entire process to me. They also respond promptly to portal messages, which is very important because the process can feel overwhelming. I have read reviews from people who felt like a number. Although I understand how certain language or processes could create that impression, I think some of this structure is necessary and important given how time-consuming and detailed their work is. I did not personally feel that way. Every staff member I encountered treated me as an individual. Dr. Moffitt even asked about our story and took time to understand us both as individuals and as a couple. So far, I highly recommend this clinic.

I wish I could give an even lower rating because Amy was terrible, and when I say terrible, I mean truly awful. It took me more than a year to figure out how to review my entire experience at ARMS. For background, we learned that my husband was infertile because of a previous health issue, so we decided to pursue IVF. At the time, we had no idea what lay ahead. We loved Dr. Moffitt, and the embryology lab staff were excellent—I cannot say enough good things about them. Amy, however, was absolutely terrible, and that was critical. When I started ovarian stimulation injections, she would always wait until after I had arrived at work to tell us the exact dosage. My husband would then have to drive the medication to my workplace so I could administer the injection. This happened repeatedly. Then came the egg retrieval. We retrieved some good eggs and proceeded toward an embryo transfer. Ultimately, only two embryos made it, and we sent them for genetic testing. We had already scheduled the transfer date, and I messaged Amy with questions about the transfer medication. She finally replied, but her instructions were unbelievably vague. I had to ask repeatedly exactly what I should take because she kept saying, “Take 2-3 estradiol tablets.” When you have spent this much money and endured so much emotional stress, you need clear instructions. Then Dr. Moffitt called and told me that our embryos were not viable. It was the worst phone call of my life. After I completely broke down, I messaged Amy to ask whether I could stop the transfer medication. She replied, “Oh my gosh, that's terrible.” Even worse, she did not even know which medication she had told me to take. She told me to stop progesterone, even though she had only instructed me to start estradiol. Then she said, “Contact me when you're ready to try again,” showing no empathy whatsoever. For context, I have been an ICU nurse for 14 years. I have met and worked with many nurses, but this was by far the most shocking experience of my personal and professional life, and I am not exaggerating. I was furious. In short, we went to New Direction Fertility Centers, and I am now 20 weeks pregnant with my son. Take my advice: do not waste your time or money at ARMS. Go to New Direction Fertility Centers and have the baby you have always dreamed of.

We had a wonderful experience at this fertility clinic. The team was consistently compassionate, knowledgeable, and professional, and I trusted them completely to guide us in making the best choices throughout our fertility journey. Thanks to their expertise and attentive care, I am now nearing fifty and expecting our fourth child. We are incredibly grateful for their support and highly recommend this clinic to anyone seeking fertility treatment.

Overall, we had a wonderful experience with Dr. Moffitt at ARMS and achieved the outcome we hoped for… At the time of writing, the baby is 11 weeks and 3 days along and very healthy so far! ARMS was the second clinic I consulted, and I ultimately chose them mainly because the location was extremely convenient—just a 90-second commute—rather than a very popular clinic in Gilbert. That clinic always had more than 40 people packed into the lobby with nowhere even to stand, and it felt like an assembly line. Over time, I came to appreciate many more advantages of ARMS beyond its location. - No pressure - I felt that they gently recommended various treatment options based on evidence-based medicine and Dr. Moffitt's decades of experience. - Cost-conscious - Overall, I believe this clinic charges less than most others. As an Air Force veteran, I received a veteran discount, and they always recommended lower-cost medications instead of more expensive alternatives. - “Boutique” experience - The clinic's decor may not be modern or trendy, but the waiting room was never crowded, with no more than 0-6 people. They seem to do an excellent job staggering appointments. Some visits took only a few minutes and always started on time, which is invaluable for working people. I felt that my time was respected. -Convenient portal communication—whether I was asking questions, rescheduling appointments, or receiving updates and results, they usually responded within a few hours. -They do what they say—if they said results would be ready in the afternoon or the doctor would call between 4 and 6, they followed through. -Flexible—they worked around my job and personal schedule, even accommodating our planned international travel. To make the date for the embryo transfer that ultimately succeeded, I needed to have an ultrasound and bloodwork done abroad! That trip became a fun overseas adventure for my husband and me. They accepted the results, and now we have our baby. I wish everyone reading this the very best on their path to pregnancy and hope you find a clinic where you feel heard, cared for, and hopeful.

Dr. Moffitt is amazing! He patiently answered all my questions and left me extremely satisfied. He took the time to understand my complex fertility history and developed an excellent treatment plan. He also reviewed many results from other laboratories and noticed numerous details the previous doctor had overlooked. I have complete confidence in his medical expertise and highly recommend his clinic!

I am currently a patient at this clinic and have difficulty getting answers and understanding the next steps. I am the one asking all the questions, and only then do I learn about new things I should be doing to move forward. It does not feel good, and I am considering finding another place. The staff make you feel that you are inconveniencing them. I do not understand why we have a patient portal when there are no updates. I sent my records but still see no update. I do not want to travel a long distance only to be turned away and disappointed because more lab work or other information is needed. Nothing is communicated unless the patient asks. I truly want to grow my family, and perhaps this is not the place to help me do that.
01/10/2022
My husband and I went for treatment. There was no consultation about the procedure. The entire process was rushed, and we never received any follow-up. We were immediately dismissed.
17/09/2024
The staff are terrible and do not even explain what they are doing before causing pain.
18/03/2025
Choose somewhere else. Dr. Moffitt seems capable, but the staff communicates poorly. The timeline was unclear, and they made several mistakes that caused delays and wasted time.
27/06/2025
I had an initial egg-freezing screening at this clinic. The doctor seemed knowledgeable and experienced. However, I found the clinic disorganized, untrustworthy, and unreliable. At the first visit, the doctor answered my questions while driving to work, and the appointment lasted only 10 minutes. I paid out of pocket for a full 30-minute visit! I did all the research myself, including trying to interpret my laboratory results. They never followed up. They charged me out of pocket for laboratory testing, claiming insurance would not cover it. However, I saw that they billed two tests to my insurance and that both were deducted from my benefits. They never responded to any of my calls, voicemails, texts, or emails. They marked one result as abnormal, and when I asked them to explain why, they said they would schedule another screening. Because of these experiences, I decided not to continue with them. They seem interested only in making money, not caring for patients or explaining what is happening.
