The website information is poor. I wanted to fax a patient referral for an appointment, but no one at the practice knew the rheumatology clinic’s fax number. They kept giving us phone numbers that were not fax numbers and belonged to other clinics. Completely unhelpful.

The second-floor desk provides terrible service. The older woman checking patients in failed to register me for my second appointment with the same doctor, and I waited in the waiting area for over an hour while patients who arrived after me came and went. I saw late patients told they were late but still seen. The third time I stood up to complain about the long wait, I learned they had marked me as a “no call, no show” and canceled my appointment because of the receptionist’s mistake. I had checked in 10 minutes before my infusion appointment, yet they only saw me after canceling it. During my entire infusion, a woman sat in the infusion area talking loudly on the phone and no nurse asked her to hang up. At my second appointment, an accident made me arrive beyond the stated 15-minute grace period by 12 minutes. I then had to wait in a long check-in line with only two receptionists. I reached the desk at 9:29, and when she called the infusion area they had marked me as a “no-show.” I acknowledge that I was late, but they offered no courtesy despite my prior history with them. I wanted a referral from this company, and members of my family also work for it. As a person of color, this was disappointing but expected. A white woman with the same 9 a.m. appointment arrived just as late or later and was given ample grace. Message received. I will take my insurance elsewhere and make sure this review has an impact.

I wish I could give zero stars! The second-floor front desk is terrible, especially Esteban! I have never received worse service. It takes months to schedule a new-patient visit, and because I waited 15 minutes before anyone came, they removed me from the schedule and said I had not shown up. This place needs better service and better staff.

Orthopedics at 3030 Westchester Avenue is terrible and has no regard for privacy. The nurses come into the waiting area and ask patients questions where everyone can hear. I asked to speak privately, and the woman was extremely rude. I have never been treated so poorly. HIPPA exists for a reason. I heard another patient say the same thing. I like Westmed, but this department needs improvement.

I waited nearly three months to see Dr. Ali. The appointment reminder listed 3030 Westchester Avenue, but entering that address in Google Maps leads to the wrong location (see screenshot!). I ended up at the wrong place, which was also a medical building, and realized the mistake only after 10 minutes. I called the office, drove to the correct location, and arrived 16 minutes late. Although this was caused by a known address error, the staff were rude and unpleasant. They made me wait 15 minutes before telling me the doctor would not see me that day and that I had to reschedule for another month and a half later. This was extremely frustrating, especially since I had completed bloodwork days earlier, arranged childcare, and spent extra time in traffic because I do not live nearby. It is unacceptable for the practice to know about this address problem yet do nothing to correct it or provide accurate directions. I hope Summit Health resolves it so other patients’ time is not wasted.

I am surprised to see so many negative reviews. Everyone I encountered in the lobby and on the third floor was very friendly and welcoming. I waited only two minutes before my name was called and I was taken to an exam room. My only complaint was that the music in the waiting area was too loud, which is why I deducted one star.

Friendly, helpful staff.

Ample parking, easy access near I-287, bright lighting, no wait, plenty of seating, and specialists are always on time. The clinic, including the restrooms, is clean. There is a café serving food and drinks, and appointments are easy to schedule.

I had a very poor experience with the front desk at this physical therapy clinic. The staff member I encountered was dismissive and repeatedly interrupted me, making communication extremely difficult. Professionalism and basic respect should be expected in a medical setting. Instead, the interaction made me so uncomfortable that I ultimately left without receiving help. Management should seriously review front-desk conduct and customer-service standards. First impressions matter, and this experience alone was enough for me not to return.

Grace came here, but Dr. Yue in rheumatology did not see her.

I received and replied to the confirmation message. It took me 20 minutes to get there, and I had taken a day off for the appointment. On arrival, they said they did not accept my insurance. I offered to self-pay, as I had done many times before, but they refused me this year. The receptionist had no customer-service skills, and despite knowing I had a medical condition, no one was willing to help. I will never return and will tell others not to waste their time.

Everything was fine until the surgery part. There was a lot of nonsense, but I hope my surgery goes well 💯

If I could leave a zero star review, I would. I have very low iron and need iron infusions, which I received 2 years ago. The doctor I saw then is no longer with the practice and I was forced to wait over 2 months to see Dr. Levin, who spent less than 5 minutes speaking to me. He clearly had not read my medical records and asked me questions that he would have known if he had taken 2 minutes to look through my records. He then proceeded to tell me that low iron was not causing my fatigue, despite the fact that this is not the first time I am dealing with this issue. On top of that, I walked out of the appointment without any appointment for an infusion. Dr. Levin is not able to write orders, so another doctor has to actually put in the order for the infusions, which will then be approved by my insurance, and then someone will call me to schedule the infusions. So I am no closer to getting this issue resolved than I was over 2 months ago when I first called. I have seen a lot of doctors over the years, but I have never felt so dismissed by a medical doctor. He had no interest in listening to anything I said and no interest in doing anything to resolve the issue. I have numerous doctors at Westmed/Summit Health and have generally been happy with them, but the hematology department in Purchase is horrible. Don't waste your time there.

I am very disappointed with this clinic. Its phone service is a complete waste of time and shows no respect for anyone's time. I had to call repeatedly about the same issue. Because I was transferred among different operators to “reach the right doctor,” I had to provide the same information three times. Even when the mistake was theirs, they lacked the courtesy to correct it. A patient's suffering does not matter to them. I was very satisfied with the doctors and nurses I saw. I am not surprised that many professionals leave because they are expected to prioritize quantity over quality. I also would not be surprised if many patients left, because this feels more like a fish market than a medical facility. Although they promised a same-day callback, 32 hours have passed and I still have not heard back, and now it is the weekend.

All the good doctors have left!!!! Orthopedics runs smoothly and efficiently, with wait times under 10 minutes. Physical therapy is very busy, but the team is excellent, attentive, and committed to helping every patient regain mobility. Communication with primary care physicians is almost nonexistent. My retired doctor used to call me with my test results and return my calls after I left a message, but now there are no calls or messages about bloodwork and routine test results. So I assume everything is fine.

The staff are rude, and the customer service center is a joke! Completely incompetent! The quality of care at West Med is declining rapidly! These changes are absolutely terrible. I am leaving this healthcare system. These changes seem to be telling me that I should seek care elsewhere.

The wait time was absolutely terrible. I went in for an infusion, and the nurse damaged my arm while trying to find a vein. When it was over, he yanked off the tape and pulled the catheter out with it. Now I understand why their reviews are so poor.

My experience with this IVF attempt was extremely frustrating. A previous reviewer said that he does not seem to record the details of your condition, and that is true—he keeps asking the same questions. The problem was that every mistake during the process was immediately blamed on me, making me feel stupid and unable to follow instructions. The worst part was the ovarian stimulation injections. All the injections and supplies needed for each step should have been explained in advance, and I should have received a checklist to ensure everything was ready. I called the pharmacy, and they delivered the medications, needles, and other supplies, but I had no way to check whether everything had arrived. The stimulation injection was scheduled at an awful time: 11:45 p.m. At midnight, I discovered that the needle was the wrong size and had to go to CVS at 1 a.m. to buy the correct needle and give myself the injection. I had to get up early for work the next day, but I was told the doctor’s schedule was very tight. I could tell you the whole story. I therefore did not give myself the injection until 2 a.m., following the instructions exactly. The egg retrieval had to be performed in downtown Manhattan, where there was heavy traffic and parking cost more than 60 dollars. These were unavoidable problems. After the procedure, they were unable to retrieve any eggs. I was in excruciating pain, and once again they questioned whether I could understand basic instructions. I had to rush back to the Harrison office so his nurse, Hannah, could prepare the correct dose for me. I then went home and injected the medication at two in the morning, following the instructions exactly. At my next appointment, I was extremely anxious because of the pain from the failed attempt and because I had gone more than 12 hours without food or water. Then, in a probing tone, they told me that my hormone levels were abnormal. My legs were still raised, and I had to undergo a vaginal aspiration. Because fluid had already been drained from one side, this aspiration was excruciating. It turned out that his nurse had not followed what he had “done.” She had made a mistake, but was there no communication between them? Even worse, they charged us 3000 dollars for embryo freezing when there were no embryos. Now we have to find a way to recover that money. The entire process was a waste of time, money, and energy. I strongly advise against this clinic and doctor. Note: These hormonal medications can cause severe mood swings, but no one mentioned this.

This is not where I went, but he helped me. Now I have two lovely children.

He did not monitor my HCG levels, resulting in an ectopic pregnancy that required emergency surgery. I have seen several IVF doctors and do not recommend him.
24/12/2025
I had an extremely poor and ultimately painful experience with this IVF doctor. Throughout treatment, my reasonable concerns were repeatedly minimized or dismissed, making me feel manipulated rather than supported. The doctor often seemed unfamiliar with my condition, could not remember which tests had already been completed, and questioned or minimized diagnoses from other specialists involved in my care. Despite my underlying health conditions, the doctor pursued an aggressive treatment plan that significantly worsened my condition and caused additional health complications. I did not feel that I received the individualized care appropriate for a complex case. Communication was also extremely poor. Distressing or serious news was delivered through the patient portal rather than in person or by phone. Appointments were frequently delayed because multiple patients were booked for the same time, resulting in long waits. One especially upsetting incident occurred after I was told that I had developed a complication. The doctor placed a hand on my shoulder and told me to "smile." This was inappropriate and distressing. Overall, the experience caused lasting emotional trauma and physical health problems. I later underwent IVF at another practice, where the attention, communication, and respect were far superior. Even more frustratingly, two years later we were charged embryo storage fees despite having no viable embryos to store. This was deeply upsetting and further undermined our confidence in the clinic's administrative processes. I would not recommend this doctor to anyone with a complex condition or anyone needing attentive, individualized, and compassionate care.

Dr. Keltz is the best doctor I have encountered in any field. He is highly professional and a true expert in his specialty. From our first appointment, when we knew nothing about the process, we were impressed by his warm bedside manner and the clinic's excellent organization. Efficiency and professionalism define the entire practice. Everything ran like clockwork—there were never missing lab orders, appointment errors, or calls that failed to come—and I always felt cared for by everyone in the office. I had never received such professional medical care. Dr. Keltz even personally performed my egg retrieval on a Sunday morning while a hurricane warning was in effect in Manhattan! I always felt the staff cared about me and genuinely wanted me to become pregnant. We are very glad we chose WestMed and Dr. Keltz, and I recommend him wholeheartedly. I also enjoyed receiving care at WestMed. Because everyone there is so professional, not only in Dr. Keltz's office, I began seeing other doctors at their White Plains location. I am happy to receive excellent care close to home, in a convenient location, with everything covered by insurance!

I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Keltz. I have been his patient since 2020, and he helped us achieve our dream of having a family. He is direct but kind, funny, and always meticulous with my treatment plan. He genuinely cares about his patients and does everything possible to help them become parents. Highly recommended!

If you are looking for an outstanding reproductive endocrinologist, Dr. Keltz is someone you can trust.
