The entire process was extremely slow and took far longer than expected—years, in fact. Communication nearly stopped, leaving us in the dark with no updates or clear next steps. Worse, we encountered questionable charges and had to file a formal complaint with the state. Ultimately, we had no choice but to seek help elsewhere, where we finally received the attention and clear answers we deserved.

I am so grateful for this clinic ❤️ Everyone was very kind, understanding, and supportive. Thanks to Dr. Masaba's attentive care, I am now pregnant!

I am 38 and now have a beautiful 6-month-old daughter thanks to Dr. Gupta. We purchased a package with 1 retrieval and 2 transfers, obtained 5 embryos, and succeeded with our second transfer. We also had the opportunity to join a very simple clinical study that helped reduce our medication costs. The staff was always friendly, knowledgeable, and compassionate.

Do not go here. My PCP recommended them, so I called for an appointment. Because I was divorcing, they had a policy requiring me to provide my divorce decree and wait 6 months after the divorce. This is illegal. When I refused to upload such sensitive information to my patient portal, they withdrew the request for the decree but still required the 6-month wait. I was 34 and knew my fertility window was narrowing. This was my first experience with fertility care. I knew I would use donor sperm and needed a fertility center to facilitate insemination, but I did not realize I should compare clinics to ensure quality care, so I stayed with URMC. More than a year later, I finally saw a doctor and began the possible insemination process. During that first year, they required numerous tests and related appointments, saying they could not continue treating me otherwise. Several times, they said I would have great difficulty becoming pregnant, might have a brain tumor, and had a limited egg supply. After 6 months of an exhausting process with them, I changed course and scheduled with Unity Fertility. Unity had no concerns about my divorce, performed basic testing, and completed my ultrasound within a month of intake. They told me there was no concern about my ovarian reserve. I learned that some fertility centers want to maintain ratings based on insemination success rates for accreditation, which may lead them to exceed what is actually necessary for patients. Within two months of intake, Unity changed course and I began insemination. I am now pregnant, although I worry the year I waited to begin the process reduced my time because I am now 35. Stay away from UR. I highly recommend Dr. Jamil Mroueh and the Unity Fertility team.

I was a patient at this clinic for three years without success. We completed three IVF cycles and several transfers, but nothing worked. At our final consultation, the choices were clear: adoption or an experimental attempt using my eggs and donor sperm, which was not an option for our family. We knew then that we needed to change clinics immediately, and we are so glad we did. At another clinic, I became pregnant on the first cycle. We have a healthy boy who is nearly two, and we are now expecting another child. My protocol there was very different from the one offered here. I want people to know that if a clinic does not feel right and you are staying another year only because of hope, explore other options. Do not remain trapped in constant sadness or believe infertility is your fault. This experience is still painful, and I remember feeling completely hopeless. I am sharing our story to show that we must advocate for ourselves and remain hopeful. An infertility diagnosis does not mean you must give up your dreams!

This is the best fertility clinic I have experienced. My experience here has been amazing! They found a uterine fibroid, which was successfully removed surgically. My recovery was quick, and I am moving toward a successful pregnancy. I am very excited and grateful to this professional team, who responded to my requests with gentleness and care. A strong fertility team. Thank you 🖤🩷 Blessings to you! 💎

My wife called to schedule an appointment, and the woman who answered was so rude that she made her cry. They also refused to give their names. We are deeply disappointed with this clinic. It is a disgrace to healthcare.

This was a terrible experience that I may never forget. I am 43 and started coming here at 42. I did not begin trying to conceive until age 40 and had previously experienced two miscarriages. I was referred here, but there was almost no communication. At one point my fallopian tube was blocked, and I repeatedly asked whether it should be opened, but my primary care doctor said it was probably fine and did not need treatment. It turned out to be blocked, and I lost far too much time. Now many doctors think I am wasting time because of my age. Instead of recognizing how brave I was to persevere, they assumed I could not afford IVF and did not want to waste time on me. I left every visit sobbing, and I would not wish this experience on anyone. If you do come here, insist that they take the time to listen to your concerns, or they will treat you only as a source of revenue.

Several years ago, my primary care physician referred me to this clinic for specialized testing to determine why I could not become pregnant. When the clinic called to schedule, they asked many questions but ultimately refused to see me because I was going through a divorce. The staff member on the phone explicitly said they would not see me because I did not have a partner. She also mentioned that I had not completed certain very specific tests. They made repeated excuses and said they would not see me simply because I was not yet ready for fertility treatment... Do they not need to determine why I cannot become pregnant before providing the correct treatment? I called my primary care physician, whose manager contacted their manager, but their manager was equally dismissive. Honestly, I cannot understand how, in this day and age, a medical organization could make it so difficult for a single woman to seek answers about her reproductive health. I am glad I moved here, where I was able to find the care and answers I needed. But if you are hoping to find those at this organization, you may want to reconsider.

My experience at this clinic was a nightmare that nearly cost me my life. After undergoing a hysterosalpingogram, I developed a severe infection and was later diagnosed with pelvic inflammatory disease. Despite this, I proceeded with treatment. After insemination, I developed severe pain and repeatedly called the clinic—even after hours—because I knew something was seriously wrong. However, instead of evaluating me immediately, they offered only dismissive reassurance. The pain became so severe that I could barely walk. I eventually contacted another hospital myself. They admitted me immediately and said I needed emergency surgery. My fallopian tube had ruptured, and I was bleeding into my abdomen. The doctors told me that if I had not sought care when I did, I might have died. I trusted this clinic with my health and safety. I wish they had taken my concerns seriously.

I used to come to this clinic regularly. This clinic only cares about money. My family doctor referred me here, but I waited a year to see a doctor. When I finally got a consultation, they put up endless obstacles that made it difficult to start treatment. Every time I was about to begin, they refused for one reason or another. I had five intrauterine inseminations (IUIs); one worked, but it ended in an ectopic pregnancy. The doctor never listened to me or tried to determine why I had an ectopic pregnancy. When the ER called to tell her I had gone there with severe pain, she coldly said she had not told me to go, even though she knew I was miscarrying an ectopic pregnancy. Thankfully I went, because the situation could not have been worse. She was completely unprofessional and negligent, with no compassion or patient-centered care. I felt like just another source of income for the clinic. I do not understand why anyone keeps coming here. They need a complete change in management.

Communication is abysmal. I have never encountered a single provider here who acted as though they cared. Several are truly heartless, almost to the point of sadistic behavior.

I wasn't going to write a review, but since there is a recent one describing the receptionist making a patient cry, I decided I should. Her receptionist also made me cry. She asked why I wanted to see the doctor, and I tried to explain that it was complicated and that I was following up on a visit from a long time ago. The receptionist became annoyed with me and said she couldn't make the appointment unless I told her exactly what issue I wanted to see Dr. Hoeger about. She was almost yelling at me while I was trying to explain and also stop myself from crying. After I finally saw Dr. Hoeger and discussed my concerns, complaints, and questions, she ended our final visit with a comment along the lines of, "Don't come back unless you're trying to get pregnant." I have MRKH :)

My wife tried to schedule an appointment here, but the people answering the phone were extremely rude and appalling. My wife ended up in tears, and the women refused to give their names. This clinic is terrible and a disgrace to healthcare.
