Dr Randal Robinson, États-Unis

Le Dr Robinson a rejoint le département d’obstétrique et gynécologie et la division d’endocrinologie de la reproduction en 2011. Il a obtenu ses diplômes A.B. (Arte Baccareleuratis) et M.D. à l’University of Missouri, puis a effectué son internat en obstétrique et gynécologie au Madigan Army Medical Center, Tacoma, Washington, en 1992, et un fellowship en endocrinologie de la reproduction et infertilité à Harvard Medical School, Brigham and Womens Hospital, Boston, Massachusetts, en 1996. Il a auparavant servi en service actif dans le corps médical de l’armée américaine et a pris sa retraite avec le grade de colonel après plus de 26 ans de service. Il a été à la fois directeur du département et directeur du programme d’internat en obstétrique et gynécologie au San Antonio Military Medical Center et au San Antonio Uniformed Services Health Education Consortium. Il est certifié en obstétrique et gynécologie ainsi qu’en endocrinologie de la reproduction et infertilité. Le Dr Robinson est actuellement vice-président du Council on Resident Education in Obstetrics and Gynecology. Il est examinateur pour l’American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology et président de la section de l’armée du district des forces armées de l’American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.

These reviews shocked me. As an infertility patient, I have never felt as valued as I did at UT HEALTH. The doctors and staff treated me wonderfully and listened to my concerns. I felt extremely supported. The nurses cheered when my first ovulation test was positive and congratulated me when I became pregnant. I am reviewing them because I am considering returning for a second child and think highly of their team.

Everyone seems emotionally detached or cold. Staff checking you in or taking vital signs are harsh while you are trying to build a family. That is no way to treat already stressed patients. They need better service skills or better staff. They also will not accommodate schedules: it is their way or nothing. For something like this, they should help people work around their jobs.

I am very disappointed with UT Health Fertility Clinic. We were supposed to start last month but were told the doctor was away, delaying treatment by a month. Now we must wait another month, with no estimated start date. Our request to use another provider to avoid delays was ignored. Communication should be better; discovering delays without proactive updates is frustrating. We often contacted them repeatedly for updates. Costs were also unclear, and we still did not understand everything included. They refused prior authorization for my medication and said paying cash at their recommended pharmacy was easier. The experience left me heartbroken and frustrated. ***Update: We chose another provider who started immediately and was transparent about every step and cost. We are now 7 and a half months pregnant! Unfortunately, obtaining records from UT Health Fertility Clinic was very difficult. It felt as though they withheld them simply because we wanted to leave.

I have been receiving care at UT HEALTH for three months and love my entire care team. Dr. Rippentrop is my primary doctor, and Dr. Yauger and Dr. Mak also oversee my care. She explains every condition in the simplest terms so I understand completely. I feel heard, and my treatment plan is personalized rather than generic. They gave me data on every available treatment option, which made the process less stressful and helped me make decisions. This is an excellent medical team. Thank you for all you do!

Very professional. He listened carefully to all my concerns and performed a comprehensive evaluation that confirmed polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS). He also provided treatment options, which other doctors I had seen failed to do. He and his assistants answered all my questions promptly.

Dr. Robinson and his team are truly wonderful. They care deeply about their patients and take time to ensure you fully understand everything. I have seen several fertility doctors, and he is among the best. He is honest and direct, and his team is professional and compassionate. This journey is not easy, but they made it manageable and ultimately possible.
