Dr Samuel Kim, États-Unis
Le Dr S. Samuel Kim est un endocrinologue de la reproduction de renommée internationale, avec 30 années d'expérience clinique. Son expertise en préservation de la fertilité est reconnue à l'échelle nationale et internationale.
Le Dr Kim est un pionnier de la transplantation ovarienne, et ses travaux novateurs ont été présentés par des médias internationaux, dont BBC, NBC, CBS et FOX. Il a fondé l'International Society for Fertility Preservation (ISFP) en 2007 et en a été le deuxième président. Il est également membre fondateur de l'Asian Society for Fertility Preservation.
Le Dr Kim faisait partie des trois médecins ayant réalisé avec succès une transplantation ovarienne humaine aux États-Unis au début des années 2000 et a été le premier à rapporter une grossesse réussie et une naissance vivante à partir d'ovocytes congelés au Kansas en 2011.
Le Dr Kim est diplômé du Seoul National University College of Medicine, a effectué un résidanat en obstétrique-gynécologie à Temple University à Philadelphie et une formation postdoctorale en endocrinologie de la reproduction et infertilité (WRHR) à l'University of Washington à Seattle. Il a également été chercheur postdoctoral à l'University of Leeds au Royaume-Uni.
Le Dr Kim a été chef de service et professeur d'endocrinologie de la reproduction et infertilité à la University of Kansas School of Medicine. Il a également dirigé le programme de préservation de la fertilité du KU Cancer Center. Il a auparavant été membre du corps enseignant à temps plein de Harbor/UCLA et directeur du centre de fertilité du Shanghai American-Sino Women's and Children's Hospital.
Le Dr Kim a beaucoup publié dans des revues de premier plan, dont Nature, et a écrit plusieurs chapitres de manuels médicaux. Il est également l'auteur et l'éditeur de quatre livres, dont Principles and Practice of Fertility Preservation. Tout au long de sa carrière, le Dr Kim a reçu de nombreuses distinctions scientifiques et prononcé plus de 90 conférences invitées dans le monde. Il a siégé aux comités éditoriaux de revues réputées, dont Fertility and Sterility, ainsi qu'aux conseils consultatifs de diverses organisations.

A wonderful first visit! The office was very clean and organized, the staff were extremely friendly, and Dr. Kim made my wife and me feel comfortable and heard. We appreciate all the information provided and found it very helpful to learn about every option available to us. We look forward to continuing our fertility journey at TLC!

I had a pleasant consultation here. I truly appreciated that they took the time to explain the process and let me ask as many questions as I wanted. After unimaginable challenges, it gave me some hope. Unfortunately, almost a month after the initial consultation, I still had not received any information about my AMH results, any tests I needed to complete, or a discussion of the next steps. Because of this, I ultimately consulted another clinic where I chose to receive treatment. The staff and fertility specialist were wonderful, but the lack of communication was a deal-breaker for me during an already vulnerable and anxious time.

Although my two IVF cycles with Dr. Jovanovic at Tree of Life Center were unsuccessful, I would do it all over again without hesitation. We drove 3 1/2 hours each way to the facility, and every mile was worth the care and compassion we received. Dr. Jovanovic and his team made us feel truly seen, heard, and supported throughout the process. They explained everything patiently and clearly and treated us with genuine kindness. Regardless of the outcome, I always felt I was in the best hands. The emotional support and professionalism at Tree of Life made this difficult journey easier, and I am deeply grateful.

We had previously visited several other fertility clinics, and unfortunately their approach often felt rushed—moving directly to IVF without taking the time to truly understand our situation. Our experience with Dr. Carolyn Kim was completely different. She was warm, positive, and highly objective. Dr. Kim listened carefully to our story and made us feel genuinely welcomed and supported. For the first time, we felt hopeful and confident about continuing our journey. We are excited to move forward with them and highly recommend them to anyone seeking compassionate, thoughtful fertility care.

Hello everyone. I hope my fertility journey can help anyone who wants a child, especially single people and older couples. I am 47. My fertility journey began several years ago when I was single and wanted a child. I saw many doctors, sometimes through insurance but usually paying out of pocket. I underwent several rounds of intrauterine insemination (IUI) and in vitro fertilization (IVF). After each failed attempt, I began to feel like giving up, but I did not because I wanted a child and knew it would not be easy. One day, I was fortunate to meet Dr. Jovanovic at Tree of Life. I had my first consultation with him and told him about my care at other fertility clinics and the different treatments I had received. Dr. Jovanovic explained the various options he wanted me to consider. We made a plan outlining which procedures to try first and what to try next if the first option did not work. Long story short, I tried several times, including IVF, but I did not give up or want to stop because I knew the longer I waited, the older I would be. Now, thanks to Dr. Jovanovic at Tree of Life, I am pregnant at 47 and expecting my first child. My due date is December 2025. Thank you to everyone at Tree of Life; you are all amazing. To everyone reading this, stay positive and do not give up.

Dr. Jovanovic and his assistant Caroline Kim are wonderful, knowledgeable, and hands-on. The nurses are also the best, including Isela, Aja, Rachel, Suyeon, Jackie, Ercy Jazzmen, Justine, and others. I am very grateful for all the support and care I received at the best IVF clinic in Los Angeles.

The entire team at California Fertility Partners was very kind and attentive. They patiently explained everything to me and made me feel relaxed. They answered all my questions. I chose this clinic because of its high Google rating, but my actual experience did not reflect it. Julie did not tell me that all required tests had to be completed and passed before beginning ovarian stimulation.
As a result, I endured the full physical burden of ovarian stimulation but lost the opportunity to proceed with IVF using my own eggs because of inaccurate test results.

Dr. King performed my first egg retrieval and is now overseeing my second. He has been kind and welcoming throughout the process. He always makes sure I am comfortable during baseline ultrasounds. He explains everything clearly, and I feel that he treats my case individually rather than comparing me with previous patients.
