Not up to the standard of an expensive clinic. The wait for a 55 GEL ultrasound was over 2 hours, yet queuing is considered normal at the clinic. UPD: It turned out that there was suddenly only one specialist rather than four. However, that does not justify the absence of an electronic queue.

The doctors' professionalism is undoubtedly one reason people choose this clinic. Are there any others? 1. We chose this clinic because we were offered and promised a private room after delivery so we could care for the baby together. When the day came, none were available and we were separated. Had we known a room was not guaranteed, we would not have chosen this clinic. 2. The toilets are dirty. 3. There is almost no parking. 4. Scheduling is chaotic. Even with monthly visits booked in advance, you wait 1-3 hours for the doctor. 5. Queues are disorganized. Aggressive coordinators for groups of international IVF patients can move them ahead of you.

I recommend this clinic, especially Dr. Goga Nikabadze, who delivered my baby in February 2024. He is an excellent, sensitive doctor who does not prescribe or diagnose anything unnecessary and pays close attention to your concerns. Delivery went smoothly, and Goga also supervised my postpartum recovery. The outpatient staff and ward nurses were attentive and caring. Nearly all the doctors and nurses speak English. We paid for an upgraded private room and were very comfortable.

Of course, I cannot compare this with other clinics in Tbilisi, but after we arrived at the scheduled time, the obstetrician did not examine my wife and instead sent us for an ultrasound, even though we already had one from three weeks earlier. After paying for the ultrasound, we went upstairs and were shocked to find that the entire clinic had only one specialist. We waited 2 hours and 40 minutes for the ultrasound. That would have been manageable, but my pregnant wife had to suffer within those green concrete walls. I then decided to get some water. The café's only advantage was its reasonable prices. On my way back, part of the ceiling fell on me, as you can see in the photo. I strongly advise everyone against this clinic! Professor Gagua may be trying to build a reputation, but the staff's lack of professionalism and the absence of an administrative system ruin everything. I know the clinic's management and staff will draw no conclusions from this post, but after reading this review, be warned: if you go to this clinic, wear a helmet because the ceiling might fall on you! Hire competent staff and bring in IT specialists to systematize your operations. In pursuing volume, they have sacrificed quality and their clients' time.

I came to this clinic after a referral from a gynecologist at another clinic. I had received an incorrect result from a double genetic test and wanted to repeat it at a specialist clinic. The receptionist spoke Russian, which was a major advantage for me, but unfortunately she could not understand what I needed for quite some time. After lengthy calls to colleagues for clarification, they ultimately ordered a triple genetic test because I was already 14 weeks pregnant and a double test was no longer considered useful. I was sent to the laboratory. There, after listening to me again, the nurse said I still needed a double genetic test because it was too early for the triple test. After my blood was drawn, I was supposed to receive a refund for the difference between the procedures at checkout. Then a senior specialist arrived and said I did not need any testing at all, because it was too late for the double test and too early for the triple test, so the information would be unreliable. They told me to return after 16 weeks. This confusion among the staff was concerning. They had already drawn my blood, and if it had been taken for the wrong analysis it would have been unnecessary for my health and a waste of money. Fortunately, everything worked out. I will return after 16 weeks to see how the doctor handles the procedure. There may be excellent specialists there, but the fact that three staff members could not decide what to do seemed very unprofessional.

We were very dissatisfied. It would be better if they cared more about women in labor. They told us in the morning that we were being discharged, brought 100 forms, and then no one checked on us. I held the baby, and no one attended the birth. The baby's face was yellow. The child's blood type was not written on the 100 forms. When I asked questions, they said this was not allowed at all. Other maternity hospitals tell us the baby's blood type, so why would they not tell us??? Now I have to leave with the baby 🙄🙄 I truly regret choosing this hospital 😏😏😏

I never imagined such a disorganized clinic existed in Georgia. Whether you have an appointment or not, be prepared to spend the entire day here. Respect for patients' time? They have never heard of it.

I gave birth at this hospital. The prenatal care and delivery itself were good, but afterward mothers are left on their own. No one explains anything; there is no lactation consultant and no advice on caring for postpartum wounds at home or managing breastfeeding or a lack of milk supply. Nothing—no guidance at all.

I gave birth at Gagua Clinic, but the experience was not the best. I expected more care from the staff, especially as a first-time mother, but the opposite happened. When my contractions started, I went to the hospital. After speaking with the gynecologist, she sent me for an examination. They told me my cervix had not yet dilated but had me prepare for delivery because I might give birth soon. They refused to let my husband enter. I was traumatized, did not speak the local language, and kept asking how long it might take because, as far as I knew, labor could take days if my cervix had not dilated. I received no answer until I repeatedly asked them to speak with the doctor, who said it would be soon. They gave me a suppository without telling me what it was. When I asked about pain relief, I had already spent several hours in the prenatal area. They examined me one final time and again said my cervix had not dilated, but that I was now going to the delivery room. I told a nurse I had not eaten since the previous day, and they gave me tea and a slice of bread. I was in too much pain even to argue or speak. The doctor during delivery was wonderful, but I still do not understand why they refused to provide an epidural during labor when this is standard in most countries. The midwife was extremely aggressive and became angry when I screamed during delivery, which is completely normal. After the birth, she angrily pushed on my abdomen without preparing me, and became upset when I said it hurt. They placed my baby on my chest and exposed my breast for feeding. When I asked for help, she left angrily. We asked a nurse to help us swaddle the baby, and she said that if we did not know how, how could we be parents. My husband had booked a VIP room, but the bathroom was dirty, which was strange. Before discharge, they checked my stitches but did not prescribe any medication or offer advice. I later developed an infection. As a first-time mother, I expected more care and support from the staff, but I felt I did most of the work. All they did was provide us with a room to sleep in.

Update: This clinic knows nothing about postpartum or newborn care. If you care about yourself, switch clinics promptly. During pregnancy: The call display does not work, or the staff do not know how to use it. Lines are long, and appointments never start on time. You may also have an appointment only to find that the radiologist has gone to a ‘meeting’ without anyone notifying you, leaving you to wait all day or cancel, with no follow-up call.

I am deeply dissatisfied with the level of service at your clinic. The staff’s treatment of people from elsewhere, especially Russian-speaking patients, is appalling. They are rude and disrespectful. Their treatment of women wearing headscarves is particularly unacceptable—you can feel their prejudice and indifference. The examination was extremely unpleasant and lacked proper care and skill. The rough insertion of the speculum was especially painful and uncomfortable. Where is your respect for patients? Dr. Anya sees patients for as long as three hours. The lines are long, the environment is stuffy, and the wait alone can worsen your condition. You could become ill three times while waiting for your appointment. I urge management to review how staff treat patients, introduce standards for courteous communication, and ensure a more organized reception process. This is not merely inconvenient; it is complete disrespect toward people seeking help. It is frightening to think they might harm you simply through the way they treat you.

Gagua Clinic will always hold a special place in my heart. Although I lived abroad during my pregnancy, I received attentive care and support at every step—especially from Dr. David Gagua, whose professionalism, compassion, and unwavering dedication gave me strength when I needed it most. My pregnancy and delivery were not easy, but with him, Dr. Ana Merkviladze, Dr. Nino Kamkamidze, and the outstanding nurses and medical staff beside me, I felt truly safe, understood, and no longer alone. They provided far more than medical care: during one of the most important times in my life, they gave me comfort, confidence, and compassion. I cannot imagine receiving better care, and I will always be grateful to the entire Gagua Clinic team for helping bring my baby boy into the world with such care and love.

Why should a patient with an appointment wait 4 hours for the doctor?! Both the patient and the treating doctor suffer. This is an enormous management failure and irresponsible toward both parties, and it must be resolved!

I would like to sincerely thank Dr. Ani Morchiladze and the entire Gagua team. Thanks to Dr. Ani and her colleagues, I have a healthy baby boy, and I have now returned to plan for a second child. One thing I truly appreciate is that everyone on the team genuinely loves their work. The assistants, nurses, geneticists, and doctors are all very kind, professional, and helpful. I also love having every service in one place. Tests, ultrasounds, appointments, and specialists are all there, so you do not have to travel between clinics and arrange everything yourself. Of course, the wait can sometimes be longer than expected. Honestly, though, I think it saves a great deal of time overall because everything is in one place and the process is more convenient. Entrusting someone with something as important as having a child is a major decision, and I am very grateful to Dr. Ani and her entire team for helping our family. Thank you 🧡
