I called to ask about their services. The woman who answered refused to provide any information unless I gave her my name and date of birth, which I did not. This is a terrible way to treat a prospective patient. Target does not ask for your name and date of birth before telling you whether they carry lotion. That employee should be fired. After reading some of their previous reviews, perhaps it was a good thing that I did not get through, so I did not even need to ask my question!

Everyone is very friendly, and the medical staff are knowledgeable and easy to communicate with. They are excellent at ensuring you have the best possible chance of conception. The only drawback is that self-pay treatment is very expensive. If you need to pay out of pocket, save as much as possible, ideally at least $10,000 to $15,000 as of 2026.

My clinical experience at Kindbody was generally positive; however, our first IVF cycle was unsuccessful. Unfortunately, the billing process was extremely frustrating and confusing, adding an unnecessary burden to an already stressful treatment process. Before treatment, I was required to prepay the full estimated patient responsibility, amounting to several thousand dollars, which I paid according to the itemized estimate they provided. I also received written confirmation that my account balance was zero. Several months later, despite having paid in full, I began receiving new bills with inconsistent explanations. I have spoken with several customer service representatives, and even their benefits team stated that my balance should be zero, yet the account still shows outstanding charges. The lack of clarity and the inconsistent information among billing, benefits, and patient communications have created significant challenges for me.

I have nothing but positive things to say about the doctors, nurses and office staff at Kindbody. I started with VIOS back in 2022 and Dr. Mackenzie Purdy was just amazing. In 2023 I had my daughter. Had some major challenges with baby #2 and Dr. Purdy and her nurses, especially Caitlyn and Lexie helped me through each and every one of them. Because of them, I had my son in 2025. My family will forever be grateful for the amazing doctors, nurses and office team who helped make our dreams of becoming parents a reality! Thank you again ladies!

Going to a fertility clinic is something I never thought I’d have to experience but I’m so glad my insurance partnered with kindbody. The front desk ladies knew me by name and all of the ultrasound techs and nurses were great. Dr Kelsey Anderson was my doctor and so so empathetic and listened to what I wanted in my protocols and made adjustments to make it happen. Transitioning to my regular OB after having a successful transfer was so bittersweet because of how caring everyone at kindbody is. Already miss the team I had!
02/04/2026
I honestly had a wonderful experience with Dr. Cooper but started our care here during the acquisition by Kindbody. After our initial consultation where I was told my treatments would be covered 100% by my insurance I was then told at my second visit that was false and I would have to pay OOP for everything after my initial work up. My husband and I or then put in a position to decide if we wanted to wait a few more cycles to get in with a different doctor or proceed with care out-of-pocket. We were offered a slight discount for cash pay so elected to proceed. When we got our bill our discount was not included and our initial work up was also not covered by insurance. It’s nearly impossible to talk to a human on the phone to discuss the matter and when messaging online we are basically told tough luck or we will escalate this and then never hear back. We ended up paying the large bill after being sent to collections and now are getting additional bills sent to us almost two years later.

No one wants to undergo infertility treatment, but Kindbody made the entire process as easy as possible. Everyone I met—from the doctors, nurses, ultrasound technicians, and receptionists to the laboratory staff—treated me with respect and empathy. They did everything possible to ensure that you had everything you needed, fully understood every process, and received the best care experience. I want to thank Dr. Rhee and my nurse Mandy. They were outstanding and helped me build the happy family I have today. IVF is never easy, but it brought me the greatest joy of my life.
09/04/2026
The entire experience was wonderful!
19/02/2026
Everyone was kind, understanding, and eager to provide helpful information and guide you through the process.
12/03/2026
Our fertility journey at Kindbody St. Louis was wonderful, and the medical care itself was excellent. Dr. Rhee, nurse Emily, the other doctors involved, and my nurses were outstanding. They made us feel valued and heard and ensured we received the best care. At every in-person visit, I felt their concern and full attention. I had ample time to ask questions and received prompt responses through the online platform or by phone. When emergencies or complications arose, staff did everything possible to care for me. Insurance restrictions required me to drive over two hours, but the staff did their best to accommodate my scheduling needs. We are deeply grateful that they helped us welcome our beautiful daughter, born in January 2026. Most billing communications went smoothly. We paid before every treatment and received no bills afterward. About six months later, insurance and Kindbody billing problems arose, which was very frustrating because they now claim we owe a substantial amount. However, everyone has been patient while we seek a resolution.

From diagnosis through 10 weeks of pregnancy, Kindbody took exceptional care of our entire family. We felt fully informed and involved at every step, and the staff's compassionate, personalized care reassured us during a chaotic time. We learned so much from the excellent doctors and nurses and will recommend Kindbody to anyone looking for a clinic to help build their family. We are very pleased with our experience!
16/02/2026
This place is wonderful. From the moment you schedule a consultation, you feel heard, valued, understood, and cared for. I only wish I had contacted them sooner!
22/02/2026
Everyone I have met so far has been very kind and helpful. I just had my first intrauterine insemination (IUI) at Kindbody. I felt relaxed and unhurried, and all my questions were answered patiently. This company treats each person as a patient, not as a source of payment.

If you are considering Kindbody in the St. Louis area, I strongly recommend continuing to explore other options. Our OB-GYN referred us here four years ago, when it was still called VIOS. We did not know it was being acquired by Kindbody. Unfortunately, the acquisition appears to have shifted the clinic from patient-centered care to a more commercial and impersonal model. Communication is extremely difficult. Reaching a real person is rare, leaving patients dependent on the online portal or voicemail, often without a timely response. There is little continuity of care, and you seldom see the same provider consistently. In the emotionally and physically exhausting field of infertility treatment, this lack of personal connection makes an already stressful experience even harder. We were also given inaccurate timelines for test results, and sensitive information was sometimes delivered by laboratory staff who could not answer questions, explain next steps, or provide support. We now risk missing a treatment cycle, even though we said at the start of the year that we wanted to proceed with a transfer so they could reassess treatment effectiveness. They knew our timeline but failed us again. We previously considered changing clinics but decided to give them another chance. Unfortunately, this experience was disappointing again.

Kindbody St. Louis is amazing! Dr. Amber Cooper and her team were always available and incredibly supportive. They are knowledgeable and patiently explain every question. At Kindbody, we never felt like just a number. Our baby boy was born in November, and we could not be more grateful for the blessing and support Kindbody gave us. We highly recommend Kindbody to anyone trying to conceive.
06/01/2026
I felt very comfortable! Well informed. The staff were very nice and welcoming. My results came back fast that I could view on my kindbody portal. Overall my first experience there was great. I look forward to continuing my IVF journey with kindbody. I am very excited!!!!
16/01/2026
I recommend Kindbody to everyone going through IVF! My husband and I initially went to another clinic but quickly transferred to Kindbody, and we are so glad we did. The doctors and nurses there were warm and compassionate and made sure we understood every step of treatment. Our fertility journey had many challenges, but with Dr. Anderson’s help, we now have a healthy, happy six-week-old daughter. We are deeply grateful to Kindbody for overcoming every obstacle and helping us welcome our precious daughter.
13/12/2025
Everyone at this office is very kind and thoughtful!
15/12/2025
I had received treatment at another fertility clinic before coming to Kindbody. They asked me to submit all my records in advance, which was understandable, but it was clear that they had not reviewed any of my test results. The only laboratory result Dr. Cooper mentioned was my thyroid-stimulating hormone (TSH) level. She also never took a detailed medical history before making recommendations. I later received messages from the clinic navigator and nurse listing a full page of recommended tests, most of which I had already completed. I am a healthcare professional myself, so it was clear to me that Kindbody did not provide personalized care. It felt like they were herding cattle rather than developing individualized treatment plans. I decided not to continue treatment here, and I would not recommend starting here if you want personalized care.
16/12/2025
Excellent experience with warm and attentive staff. The entire process was pleasant, and we were seen promptly with no wait at all.
19/12/2025
Our experience at Kindbody was incredible! We were once told by doctors that we would never be able to have children, and now we are holding our 7-week-old daughter. At Kindbody, they listened to us and gave us hope throughout the journey. We will always be grateful to the entire team.
13/11/2025
I am now three-quarters of the way through my IVF cycle and have just completed egg retrieval. The entire process has been wonderful so far. Everyone here has been a pleasure to work with. From the moment I entered the clinic through all the laboratory tests and ultrasounds, everyone was kind and sincere. Communication has also been excellent, and I cannot imagine going to any other fertility clinic. We love everyone at Kindbody!

Every appointment felt like going home to visit family. From the front desk to the operating room, everyone was kind, courteous, welcoming, and thoughtful. Dr. Cooper was my physician, and she is the best. We developed a strong doctor-patient relationship, and I will always tell my children this story. She supported me through the highs and lows of my life, and I am deeply grateful to her.

I have had previous experiences at a different clinic, and I can honestly say, that Kindbody has been a wonderful change. I have left every appointment feeling optimistic and supported. I had my first egg retrieval today (for an IVF round) and was so cared for. The staff was amazing. Chelsea and Dr Anderson were so supportive. I know that infertility is hard and can feel isolating, but give them a try, because they will make you feel like you are not alone!

I transferred from another clinic to Kindbody, and the difference was remarkable. Everyone I met—from the front desk, medical assistants, registered nurses, and ultrasound technicians to the doctors—was friendly, warm, and caring. I never felt like a burden when I had follow-up questions after a visit or needed help after hours. They coordinated my treatment, including medications and lab work, very efficiently, which is rare in reproductive endocrinology. At my previous clinic, appointments were often delayed, communication errors were common, and I felt I had to fight constantly for the care or answers I needed. I cannot say enough good things about this experience. I highly recommend Dr. Anderson and Dr. Cooper.
06/11/2025
I cannot express my gratitude to Dr. Cooper and the Kindbody care team. We always felt cared for and supported throughout treatment. Everyone at the front desk and in ultrasound was very kind. Karen in the lab was wonderful too. All the nurses were knowledgeable, and we are especially grateful to our first nurse, Amy, who guided us through IUI and our first IVF cycle. From the beginning, Dr. Cooper’s expertise and empathy gave us confidence and trust at every step. We sincerely appreciate their exceptional care, which helped us become parents to three daughters.
06/10/2025
The intrauterine insemination (IUI) process was painless and smooth. I appreciated their friendly manner and communication. Treatment is still ongoing.
07/10/2025
Everyone was exceptionally kind and patient during my egg retrieval. The nursing and physician teams genuinely care about patients and do everything possible to achieve success. Their work is truly excellent.
13/10/2025
I had a wonderful weekend at Kindbody! Every team member I interacted with was excellent, kind, and helpful. Throughout the journey, I received attentive care and thoughtful coordination. Many thanks to everyone, and to Chelsea—you are amazing. Thank you!
16/10/2025
My husband and I began our IVF journey at Kindbody in August 2024. Kindbody was wonderful and made the whole process much easier. I visited the clinics in St. Louis, Missouri, and Swansea, Illinois. Everyone I met was kind and considerate. I worked with Dr. Anderson throughout the process and could not have asked for anyone better. We welcomed our beautiful son in September 2025.
16/10/2025
My wife and I transferred from another clinic to Kind Body for treatment with Dr. Amber Cooper. We give Kind Body a perfect rating! Our previous clinic was terrible. The only thing we disliked about Kind Body was having to pay anesthesia fees out of pocket because anesthesia was provided by another company. However, we submitted a claim to our insurer and were reimbursed for a substantial portion. Our experience at Kind Body was excellent! I know some people have mentioned issues they encountered, but we did not experience any problems.
20/09/2025
Although we are still going through the process, our experience here has been incredibly reassuring and completely different from our previous clinic, where we felt like just a number. From Lauren at the front desk to the lab and ultrasound teams, nursing staff—special thanks to our retrieval nurse Chelsea—and Dr. Anderson, everyone my husband and I met made us feel we were not alone. It was especially encouraging that many staff members had personally undergone IVF and were always willing to share their experiences and tips, making the process more uplifting. At our previous “center of excellence,” we were lucky to speak with a doctor for more than 8 minutes. Dr. Anderson is always helpful, openly discusses successes and failures, and thoughtfully develops a personalized protocol to help us reach our goal instead of simply repeating what usually works. From weekend messages from embryology to responses by phone and text from the on-call nurse, even questions about Sunday morning or after-hours injections were answered. Wherever this journey takes us, we know the Kindbody team is our partner.

Dr. Cooper is an excellent and knowledgeable doctor. The staff at the St. Louis clinic are very friendly and make infertility treatment a little easier.
23/09/2025
The providers and staff were excellent! Very efficient and informative, and they answered all my questions.
26/09/2025
My overall experience was excellent. The entire team was wonderful, like a family. They were very understanding and happy to answer any questions. We had a healthy 6-pound baby boy, and I am very grateful for this wonderful experience.
10/09/2025
Kindbody helped my husband and me achieve our ultimate goal of having more children when other factors had prevented us from doing so. They also offer financing that, if approved, can cover appointment costs, allowing you to repay treatment expenses through the lender afterward. This made my dream possible—after all, who has thousands of dollars sitting around? I had been very worried that we could not afford the appointments and treatment needed to become pregnant, but the financial counselor explained the available options and gave me confidence that we could achieve our goal. Thank you to Dr. Purdy, Claudia, and the entire Kindbody St. Louis team for helping me reach it.
11/09/2025
I absolutely love KINDBODY St. Louis. From the excellent doctors and nurses to everyone working behind the scenes, they do everything they can to make patients feel more comfortable and support them throughout the process!
12/09/2025
Chelsea was incredibly helpful during a very private time, when I was afraid to feel optimistic. She made the entire process much easier.
13/09/2025
Chelsea was very compassionate, professional, and extremely kind!! I appreciated her kindness and support for my egg retrieval today!

*2nd update: We had kindbody review an unapplied payment so they paused our payment schedule. Well we just learned they sent us to collections and never once warned us despite them being the ones to pause the payment. The billing process has been a total nightmare with poor communication. We discovered our infertility in April and our OB recommended Kindbody. 4 months later we are 9 weeks pregnant with our first baby. The staff was compassionate, empathetic and very skilled. We live in central IL but it was beyond worth the drive. We're very grateful for Kindbody Update*: the clinical staff was amazing but the billing process has been horrible. We paid $1200 upfront and the billing office has not taken it off our bill. We've called them 3 times now asking them to do so and they still have not changed it. They continually say they'll process it. It's been over a month now with no changes

Jack Dean Evans was born on June 19, 25. He is our first child. I am 41. I always thought I could not have children because I had never succeeded. I nearly gave up. This was our second IVF attempt. My mother researched and recommended Kindbody IVF. Somehow, thank God, it worked. I had 3 very healthy embryos. Two are still in storage, one girl and one boy. Jack is a beautiful blessing I never thought would happen. The staff at Kindbody were all warm and welcoming. I went to the St. Louis infertility center in Chesterfield but was not treated well. It was my first IVF experience and was terrible. None of the embryos succeeded. The coordinator, Dusty, was awful. They told me I was old and would need 7 more attempts. I felt they treated people like livestock. One IVF cycle costs $12,000. My employer paid for one round of IVF at Kindbody. I work at Walmart. That was another blessing. This place is amazing, and I am so grateful!
02/09/2025
The Kindbody team is amazing! Compared with other fertility clinics I have visited, the difference is remarkable. They are very friendly and answered all our questions without difficulty. Dr. Anderson is excellent and very knowledgeable. She provides a great deal of information without using confusing medical jargon. Their nursing team is also wonderful and made me feel at ease. Every nurse who cared for me was excellent, but special thanks to nurse Chelsea, who is funny and wonderful! She does an outstanding job using humor to reassure patients and ease their fears. Scheduling is simple, and they respond quickly to online messages. I highly recommend Kindbody.

We are so grateful to KB's excellent team of nurses, doctors, administrative staff, and everyone else who made this possible! The care we received was outstanding and filled with thoughtfulness, compassion, and empathy. I recommend you to everyone who asks about our treatment journey and may be facing a similar experience 💛 Infertility is exhausting, frustrating, and difficult—mentally, physically, spiritually, and financially—and without the care we received here, we would not be holding our sweet baby today. I want to address the many reviews, replies, and comments: billing has some shortcomings, but if you stay on top of things and communicate proactively, issues are handled properly or explained clearly. In my opinion, this applies to all medical billing. I will never regret choosing KB!
21/08/2025
Thank you so much to Kindbody and our care team! Dr. Rhee was amazing, Emily guided us throughout, and Abby was the best nurse we met! Scheduling all our appointments was very easy, and we felt fully supported and prepared at every step of treatment.
23/08/2025
Lisa in Swansea is amazing! She made us feel very comfortable. A gold-star experience!
26/08/2025
Dr. Cooper and the Kindbody team not only made our family a reality, but also treated us with care and compassion. 10/10 recommend.
01/08/2025
I wish they would investigate more carefully and ensure adequate testing before recommending IVF to self-paying clients. I had two failed IUI cycles, one IVF egg retrieval that produced only one good embryo, one failed transfer, and two chemical pregnancies. I wish they had listened to earlier concerns. I later learned about the many tests available before transfer to support a more successful protocol, even with basic insurance coverage. I hope they devote more time and effort to clients in the future. This is an enormous commitment for any individual or couple.
05/08/2025
Strongly advise against kindbody. Difficult process regardless but only confounded by this business. I saw a different provider almost every visit, had test results mixed up and reported back to me incorrectly, including telling me that my pregnancy either wasn’t viable or that something was seriously wrong (which was wholly untrue, but the provider didn’t take the time to read/date). They were very quick to pursue most aggressive interventions and try to “sell” IVF without regard for patient concerns or wishes. Front desk was the only person you would see regularly and even they didn’t know my name. One star because they took my insurance benefit. Strongly advise to pursue other services.
07/06/2025
Everyone is genuinely so kind! We had an excellent experience. They care about you and are experts in the field!
14/06/2025
Chelsea is amazing! She is the only person who could find a vein for my procedure! Her patience and diligence before and after the procedure were incredible. Thank you to the entire team, and special thanks to Dr. Anderson! I know my case was challenging, but she took the time needed to figure everything out. Thank you for your patience and understanding throughout the process. I am deeply grateful, and words cannot express my appreciation!

We are so grateful that we chose Kindbody to help us through our fertility journey! Dr. Anderson and all the wonderful staff gave us attentive care throughout this long process, and we sincerely appreciate every one of them. The Kindbody team is truly amazing! They made us feel incredibly welcome and cared for. 🩷

The nurse at our Kindbody clinic in Swansea, Illinois, is one of the most compassionate, kind, and professional healthcare workers I have ever met. My husband tends to faint during blood draws. When I told her this at my appointment one week before he was due to come in, she acted almost immediately and made a plan to help him feel comfortable and at ease. Even better, when we arrived a week later, she still remembered his difficulty. She was prepared and compassionate and made us both feel that she fully supported us. I believe these qualities are seriously lacking in healthcare today. This nurse is special, and I believe her name was Lisa. If you are fortunate enough to have her handle your case, you are very lucky. ♡ - Erin Broadhurst

After coming from another clinic where I had a painful experience, I was nervous, to say the least. Every staff member assured me that I would have the opposite experience here, and they were right! They made sure I was sedated and asleep during the egg retrieval and addressed my pain quickly. No one commented that my weight would negatively affect my treatment, unlike at the previous clinic. When I asked, they found my husband immediately. The care and compassion here are truly top-tier. Thank you all so much!

Before making a decision, please join the St. Louis IVF group and read about Kindbody. Going to Kindbody was the worst mistake my wife and I made. Please take this as a warning. They are by far the most expensive IVF clinic in St. Louis and offer the fewest adjunctive treatment options, such as intralipids and PRP. They even send patients to other clinics for these procedures. Our experience with Kindbody was nothing short of a nightmare. We had a very dangerous and frightening near miss. My wife was suspected of having endometriosis and was told to inject herself with leuprolide. Although she asked for a pregnancy test, they never performed one. My wife felt that she was pregnant and told our nurse Andrea, but was told there was zero chance of pregnancy. Andrea told my wife to proceed with the injection that evening. Thank God my wife did not, because she took a home pregnancy test the next day, and it was positive. If my wife had injected herself with leuprolide, not only would the baby have died, but my wife would also have been in serious danger. Shortly after the pregnancy—no thanks to Kindbody—we were dismissed by Dr. Lee. This was a terrible incident that should never have occurred. If you value your own life and that of your future baby, do not go here. My wife became pregnant naturally after an HSG at another local infertility clinic. Throughout her time at Kindbody, the doctor refused to let her have one, saying it was unnecessary. This was not our only problem. There were simply too many to list. Kindbody also has highly improper business practices. Because we did not complete an embryo transfer with them, they owe us thousands of dollars but flatly refuse to issue a refund. We called countless times and never received a response. They also discard embryos that do not receive a high enough grade. If you undergo egg retrieval and your eggs do not score highly enough under their grading standards, they discard them without telling you. Be aware that other local infertility clinics keep them and still allow you to use them. Thousands of successful pregnancies have come from lower-grade embryos. Before making a final decision to come here, research the STL IVF Facebook group. You will find that our story is common. Do not make the same mistake we did. I have shared my story with everyone I meet who is undergoing IVF and have saved many people from repeating my wife's and my experience.
14/02/2025
So far, the administrators, nurses, and doctors who have helped me through my IVF journey have been wonderful. I cannot say enough good things about everyone in Swansea and even the few people I met during my procedure in Lindbergh. They were always available and ensured that all my appointments occurred on time, even during a snowstorm. I experienced some side effects and had late-night questions, and the overnight nursing team always replied before my injections, so I felt confident every evening and morning about what I needed to do. For a time, I felt that the billing department was not responding, which caused considerable unnecessary stress, but Dr. Lee and Andrea personally contacted me and continued following up until my concerns were resolved.
21/02/2025
When I started a few years ago, the experience was wonderful. The staff were good, appointments were quick, and communication was excellent. Now, after completing cancer treatment, the costs are outrageously high and disputed. If you have employer benefits, they inflate the charges so you use the benefits as quickly as possible. Communication is slow, and they often do not provide the necessary information. It is very unhelpful and confusing. I was also charged two copays for one appointment and waited in a hospital gown for more than an hour to be examined. Be careful. You might think they would try to make an already stressful situation easier for patients, but they do not.
11/01/2025
Chelsea was thorough. She provided exceptional care.
14/01/2025
They are absolutely terrible to work with. They cancel appointments the morning of with no notice. They constantly cancel and reschedule appointments, making it impossible to plan around your work schedule. Absolutely awful. I do not recommend them. Save your money and go elsewhere. This reflects more on the staff, laboratory, billing department, and management than on the doctor, who was good. We have had nothing but problems with the portal, which no one seems able to resolve, and we have had to complete the same paperwork a million times because of IT issues. No one communicates with you or with other team members. The schedulers have no idea what they are doing or even whether it is the correct time window to schedule an appointment. These interactions make us want to cut our losses and go elsewhere, but because we have already invested tens of thousands of dollars through insurance and more than $100,000 overall, we have to tolerate this nonsense until we finish what we started.
16/01/2025
I have only had a few interactions with the Kindbody team so far, but my experience has been so positive that I felt compelled to write a review—and I truly do not write reviews often! I am so glad I found Kindbody St. Louis. The team they have assembled is frankly astonishing. To be honest, I was almost in tears while writing this review because the entire team is genuinely that remarkable. I have never felt as heard, supported, and understood as I have at Kindbody. I honestly did not know patient care could be like what Dr. Cooper and her team provide. As a young woman with a unique fertility situation, I truly feel that Dr. Cooper is committed to understanding my individual circumstances rather than simply reciting information and offering a one-size-fits-all approach. In my past experience, fertility doctors fall into two categories: those who think nothing can be done and tell you to give up, and those who push extremely expensive medical procedures without adapting them to your personal experience. Dr. Cooper and the Kindbody team showed me a third category: one focused on finding the best options for you personally and ensuring that you fully understand the range and depth of those options. I would also add that Kindbody's online portal is very user-friendly, provides detailed explanations of everything, and makes it easy to reach staff through the chat feature. Navigating fertility treatment is challenging, and the Kindbody interface recognizes this and works to make everything easier. Wherever my fertility journey takes me, I am truly glad to have Kindbody beside me as I work through it all.

We saw Dr. Purdy and the team for two pregnancies, and everyone was wonderful. I highly recommend Kindbody.

Every Kindbody employee I worked with, from the front desk and nurses to the doctors, was wonderful. This clinic is capable, professional, and compassionate. I will actually miss this place when I return to my regular OB-GYN. I cannot recommend this clinic highly enough. IVF is not easy, but having a team you can completely trust and rely on is invaluable.
