Clinic Sofia OBGYN, PA - Edina, États-Unis

I have been seen with Clinic Sofia for the past 5-6 years. I was so hopeful to go through my pre pregnancy, pregnancy and post pregnancy with this clinic. I enjoyed my experiences with all of the doctors and PA's that I worked with especially Dr. Jordi. I am saddened that I will no longer continue my care with this practice and that I wont get to deliver with Dr. Jordi or any other provider that I trusted. It is scary being pregnant and working with a great doctor for so many years and then having to make a change. I am currently pregnant with my first child and going through some abnormal symptoms that I find concerning. I called my care team and let the nurse know of my concerns in hopes that they would get me in to check my vitals and baby. Instead I was met with comments like I need to go to the ER or see a Neurologist... I was very taken back as my symptoms were not emergent. I have been seen for so many years with this team and they had no interest in getting me in and checking my blood pressure or any other simple tests to see if that may be the problem to my symptoms. I called back again in the afternoon to advocate for myself and try to get in with my OBGYN to ensure my baby and myself are healthy. The nurse was extremely dismissive and wouldn't let me get more than two words in. As a first time pregnant women I began to feel emotional and scared as it was clear they they did not care about me or my baby and were not going to help me. I have never been spoken to so poorly or ignored by a nurse more in my life. The nurse also stated that "they do not have any same day appointments" and they "wouldn't be able to give me the care that I needed if I needed fluids"... Maybe if they got me into the clinic they could see what I actually needed and didn't need and then go from there?.. As a frightened first time mom I would hope that my care team would be eager to get me in to check on me and my baby. I called a different OBGYN facility and explained the same symptoms to their team and they scheduled to get me in immediately due to their concerns with my symptoms. I HIGHLY recommend going elsewhere if you feel you are not getting taken seriously by the nurses. Always advocate for yourself and find a team that listens and cares about your wellbeing! I hope other first time moms do not have to experience what I did.

I drove far to be seen here and I was only 3 minutes past the grace period because I couldn’t find the place and the front desk staff told me I would need to reschedule a week out. I won’t be coming back to this location.

To be honest, the doctor at Sofia Clinic is truly excellent. She spent a lot of time carefully reviewing my medical history. At the beginning of my visit, I was under a lot of stress and couldn't sleep due to anxiety. She helped me find a solution, and I really want to tell everyone that this clinic is truly great. I love how the doctors here care so much about their patients and strive to find solutions. Now, with this doctor's help, I have finally found a solution and can sleep well—it feels amazing. I want to thank Dr. Mariama Ismail; she is the best.

Sarah Talbot is an excellent doctor. I have never encountered a physician who cares so much about her patients. I have followed her to three different clinics before, and I am delighted that she has finally settled at Sophia Clinic. All the staff at the clinic are incredibly warm and friendly, making you feel like family. I highly recommend this clinic to almost everyone!

Please do not waste your time. The nurse never responded, and I wasted about two hours filling out their forms and answering their phone calls. I do not recommend this clinic because they are inefficient and inconsiderate.

I have been a patient at Sophia Clinic for over 20 years! I have received excellent care here and highly recommend it!

I visited this clinic in February with high expectations because of the many positive reviews. I do not know whether the problem was the doctor I saw, but my experience was terrible. The doctor was cold, did not listen, and did not care about my situation. Other than prescribing birth control pills, the doctor created no effective treatment plan. The entire process felt like I had to work hard to uncover information instead of being told what options were available. I had laboratory tests, but no one called afterward with the results. I left without follow-up or a treatment plan and had to find another clinic because I remained in severe pain.

My wife had an amazing experience here! We highly recommend this practice. Elle did outstanding work, and all the staff were wonderful and a pleasure to work with.

The staff at Clinic Sofia are amazing! From the front desk to the nurses, doctors, and physician assistants, everyone is kind, genuinely cares about patients, and makes you feel welcome. I was fortunate to receive their care during my first pregnancy, and they made the entire experience easy and positive. They answered all my questions, addressed every concern, and gave me tremendous support as I navigated this new experience. Dr. Wagner is a leading expert in her field, and I was very fortunate to be under her care. I knew she had my best interests at heart and made my first pregnancy such a wonderful experience! I highly recommend Clinic Sofia to all women and expectant mothers!

I have been a patient at Clinic Sofia for four years, and both of my children were born there. Dr. Bigner is wonderful, as are the other providers I have seen. I appreciate that their recommendations are always based on the latest medical guidelines and literature. I have been extremely pleased with the care I received during pregnancy and delivery, as well as after a miscarriage. If you are looking for a compassionate and highly skilled medical team in Edina, Clinic Sofia is an excellent choice!

The clinic staff are amazing! I have been coming here for about eight or nine years, and Jennifer Knapp, like the rest of the staff at the Edina location, has always created a friendly and safe environment for me. I am so grateful to have found Clinic Sofia 🤍 This is the only clinic I will use from now on!

I do not usually write reviews, but I had to write this one. The staff at both Clinic Sofia locations is consistently warm, friendly, and thoughtful. My third trimester was difficult and required frequent visits, and I felt very well cared for. I sincerely thank everyone, especially Dr. Jody and Dr. Wagner. Under unusual circumstances, they did everything possible to ensure my daughter and I had a safe delivery. They prepared extensively and researched tirelessly to provide the best care. I recommend Clinic Sofia without hesitation.

Find another clinic immediately. I first visited because we were preparing for a second child and I wanted every test to ensure my body was ready. They ran several tests, said everything was fine, and even stimulated ovulation. After four miscarriages, I sought a second opinion. My new doctor reviewed Clinic Sofia's tests, and the answer was already there. They should have told me I needed treatment for a condition causing my miscarriages, but they did not even review their own results. For two years I cried, suffered, and endured heartbreak because no one told me I had a blockage causing the losses. The last doctor I saw there showed no compassion at all. Stay far away!

I met with Dr. Ismail, and honestly, it took me a long time to find a doctor who truly cared about my condition. Dr. Ismail answered all my questions and was very compassionate. She genuinely cares about her patients. Dr. Ismail made me feel understood and created a comfortable, safe environment. I am so glad I found her. She may not realize how much impact that single visit had on me. Being understood means being seen. The clinic staff were also very kind and welcoming. Overall, a perfect experience!

I sincerely appreciate everyone at Sofia Clinic. One visit answered more of my questions than visits to other clinics over the past five years. I am deeply grateful to every staff member at both locations. Highly recommended!

My experience with my provider was acceptable, although she did not discover my daughter’s abnormal fetal position until nearly 38 weeks, leading to a cesarean section. I am posting to warn others that they use Natera for genetic testing. A class action concerns its deceptive billing, and many poor experiences are easily found online. They tried to bill my insurer $10,000 for the same test, while I unexpectedly received a $500 bill. I had already paid $500 for what I thought were two tests because bills did not itemize services. Resolving this was painful. I called Sophia Clinic today and confirmed they still work with Natera as of this post. Unfortunately, I will not return.

The best care I have ever received! The women at the front desk were very friendly, helpful, and thoughtful. I will definitely return for all my obstetric and gynecologic needs!

I came to this clinic in hopes of a great experience. This was not the case….. I ended up losing my child at 20 weeks. In those 20 weeks I experienced bleeding and lots of sickness. I was unable to keep pretty much anything down during my pregnancy I asked for Zofran and they refused to prescribe it at first. They finally did and then never refilled my prescription again. I called this clinic many times to let them know and they always seemed to blow me off. In those 20 weeks I only had 2 ultrasounds. My prior pregnancy it was a lot more. I requested to have an ultrasound a month and a half ago but they told me the Doppler was good enough. I was also supposed to be considered a high risk pregnancy which was never the case here. I do believe this clinic dropped the ball and if they would have helped me and listened my daughter would still be alive. Now I’m planning a funeral and this is the biggest loss in both mine and my husband’s life. They did not listen to me and never assigned me a doctor. It was always a different doctor I saw. I will never give this place business again and hope they know I will not be paying for their services. I will be going be taking legal actions against this sketchy place.

After seeing different doctors for six years, this clinic was the first to diagnose me with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) and explain everything thoroughly. They also sat down with me to discuss fertility treatment. I happened to become pregnant shortly after that conversation, and they were thrilled! I previously had several ultrasounds there, and I can confidently say this was the first time I felt completely at ease during an ultrasound. I love their ultrasound technology!!! Their clinic is very welcoming. I have seen many doctors here, and every visit has been excellent regardless of whom I saw. Unfortunately, I had to switch clinics for delivery because of insurance, but I will absolutely return here for obstetric and gynecologic care in the future!!!

They are very friendly and committed to making your visit quick and comfortable. This is the best obstetrics and gynecology clinic I have visited.

Unprofessional. My wife scheduled the appointment on her day off, then the clinic called and canceled 1 hour beforehand.

I have not had the best experience here so far. I am pregnant with my first child and think most providers are very good, but you often see different providers, so you must track all follow-up, ongoing items, and concerns yourself because you always see someone new. Initially, they said I would meet with a small group of providers to become familiar with everyone and then choose one provider after 32 weeks. Instead, they continued scheduling me with whoever had availability. It is hard to feel that you are receiving proper care when you see someone different at every visit. I also feel all the providers are rushed. I am 32 weeks, but no one has taken time to discuss my birth plan, let me ask questions, or explain what will happen at the hospital that day. You also cannot contact providers through messages or the portal, which makes problems difficult to address. Nurses respond, but if you need help from a medical provider, you must wait until your next appointment. Overall, I think I will eventually transfer to the Fairview midwifery team.

A friend recommended this practice, and I absolutely love everyone at Clinic Sofia. I began going there before my husband and I started trying. They supported me through a miscarriage and my first pregnancy. I see Dr. Julia Wagner and love her! She is knowledgeable, compassionate, and kind. Unfortunately, she was at the MG location when I went into labor, so Dr. Staci Biegner delivered our first son. She was just as wonderful as Dr. Julia Wagner. All the nurses and front desk staff are excellent. I recommend Clinic Sofia in Edina to all my friends. I will always continue going to Clinic Sofia!

Clinic Sofia is one of the best OB/GYN practices I have ever experienced—honestly, it is the best. I have moved often and had many difficult experiences with previous OB/GYNs and doctors, but I have been their patient for years and recommend them to everyone I know. Nearly everyone at the clinic has cared for me during biopsies, UTI testing, examinations, Pap smears, and more. I also have a medical history that makes me extremely anxious and fearful about these examinations. Every time, 10/10, regardless of who cares for me, they make me feel comfortable, loved, and safe. They are the kind of clinic that calls to check on you after an examination or diagnosis. They ensure you are cared for and helped transform my OB/GYN trauma into a new experience I did not know was possible. I no longer need to be afraid. Everyone I encounter, from the front desk staff checking me in, to the people measuring my blood pressure and weight, to the person performing the examination, is always kind and caring. When you call the nurse line with a concern, they explain everything in detail and take time to listen to you. No one has ever made me feel rushed. I recommend this clinic to anyone looking for a new practice and to anyone afraid of doctors and OB/GYN care. At my most recent appointment, I felt very weak and had a difficult time after a biopsy. They provided a wheelchair and juice, as well as ice and heat packs when needed. Thank you, Clinic Sofia, for your care, consideration, understanding, and love for patients. After nearly 15 years of gaslighting and dismissal by countless OB/GYNs, specialists, and others, Clinic Sofia was the first place to take my concerns seriously. They immediately sent me for an ultrasound, confirming my suspicion of endometriosis. Dr. Jordi performed my surgery and diagnosed stage III endometriosis. I later developed complications that required another surgery by Dr. Biegner, followed by a 4-day hospital stay during which I worked with almost the entire team. Every person was kind, compassionate, understanding, and genuinely cared about patients. They always explained everything clearly so I could understand and showed how much they cared. Clinic Sofia's staff are unlike typical doctors, nurses, receptionists, and others. I have recommended them to several people and will continue to do so!
