Because the only movies we trust with fewer than 5 stars are Hallmark movies, I am giving Illume 5 stars—although my actual rating is four stars.
Dr. Williams earns a full 5 for his consistent persistence, attentiveness, and calm demeanor. I was surprised that after our success, I never heard from him again and instead received separate messages from others.
I would give the rest of the team and the overall process a 3. There were inconsistencies between the materials provided and the information shared, repeated lack of response from my assigned billing representative, and other minor issues that, if addressed, could elevate their service from average to excellent.

I would never use this clinic. They seem caring at first, but they actually care only about your money! I paid $200 on December 17, 2024, for an egg-freezing consultation. I attended the consultation on January 8, 2025. The doctor was very informative and patiently answered my questions, so there was no issue there. But I still have not received a price quote for freezing my eggs!
After the consultation, I was taken to another room to speak further with a team lead. I am not sure who she was, but I thought I would receive pricing then. They said they do not provide pricing at the consultation, but the financial representative, Suzanna, would contact me to discuss it.
I found this strange because I also work in medicine, and my office would never operate this way. I assumed this was simply their business process and that someone would reach out. She never contacted me, so I emailed her. She returned my call that day and said she would email me the financial terms. She never did. I then sent two follow-up emails, and by the third email I was becoming upset. Instead of receiving a response that day, I received another bill charging me $200 again for the consultation I had already paid for on December 17, 2025.
At this point, two weeks later, I still have no financial information and have been charged twice for the consultation.
I was strongly considering this clinic for my fertility needs, but after seeing how it operates, I would never trust it during such a sensitive time in my life! At the consultation, they were quick to ask me to schedule every appointment immediately, but
they were unwilling to provide the pricing I was promised! It feels as though they take advantage of women's emotional state. This is not a clinic I would recommend to anyone in my life. I have since had two other consultations and will choose another clinic where I had a better experience and did not feel like merely a dollar sign.

This was absolutely our worst experience with a clinic. I am posting this only after we had our daughter. We went through our first IVF cycle with them, and all they seemed to want was blood work and tests. Nearly every visit felt like they were simply exhausting our insurance benefits. It was insulting that we asked to see their only Spanish-speaking specialist, but they provided only a nurse practitioner who did not speak Spanish. We did become pregnant, but we lost our first baby because they insisted that my wife continue medication that should have been stopped after pregnancy. When we raised this, they ignored us. I know outcomes vary, but I strongly recommend going elsewhere, such as Dr. Levi in Shelton. I would not recommend them to my worst enemy.

We drove from Philadelphia for our appointment and still give 5 stars. Clean facility and lovely people. In a commercially driven environment, it is nice to find people who seem more invested in growing families than collecting fees. Thank you, Illume.

A truly compassionate, patient, supportive, and inclusive fertility clinic—the kind we never imagined before coming to Illume, our third clinic. They simplify the burdensome parts of the process, including insurance and donor paperwork, as much as possible. Everyone we encountered, from doctors and nurses to the integrative wellness team, phlebotomists, and administrators, was wonderful. Even when we felt hopeless, they never gave up. It is worth the long trip, especially for LGBTQ people!

I am deeply grateful to Illume Fertility for helping preserve my fertility during one of the hardest periods of my life. In 2022, I was diagnosed with cancer, and my OB/GYN referred me to Illume. They quickly admitted me and began the egg retrieval process. I never felt like a number; I felt cared for, heard, and supported throughout.
Dr. Richlin was a calm and compassionate guide, and my care team, Caroline and Chelsea, were angels—kind, knowledgeable, and always prompt in addressing questions and concerns. The whole team made a frightening experience manageable and gave my husband and me real hope for the future. We are now parents to a wonderful little boy, but Illume will always hold a special place in our hearts.
If you face a medical diagnosis threatening fertility, I highly recommend Illume Fertility.

I went to Illume after trying for 5 months at age 34. Although we ultimately conceived naturally during our first month there, I still believe they deserve credit. I previously worked at a high-end longevity clinic in New York, so my metabolic health was excellent before arriving, but I was concerned that it was taking too long. Through my own interventions, I had already increased my AMH from 1.7 to 2.36. I was healthy, had done everything possible, had regular cycles, and tracked all my information. Illume performed a saline ultrasound, paused and reset my cycle with birth control, and completed routine SA, genetic testing, and other evaluations. I believe one or two of these interventions made the difference. I loved the staff and was genuinely sad when I had to transition to my regular obstetrician. I highly recommend Dr. Williams. He provides guidance during visits, speaks very calmly, and is kind to his colleagues. My husband really liked him. We wish he could deliver our baby.

I began IVF less than a year ago. My interactions with Illume have been extremely positive, especially with Dr. Kucherov and Jamie Dobos. They have been central to my wonderful experience and consistently go above and beyond. Having them on my team made an enormous difference. Through every high and low, they always listened patiently. Dr. K is highly knowledgeable while keeping things relaxed. He can deliver bad news in a very gentle, understanding way. He is sincere and helps you through difficult moments. Jamie is amazing! Every day, she makes more effort than expected and does everything possible to make you feel heard and understood. If both are on your team, you will always be grateful.

I initially heard great things about this clinic, but the front desk may need additional training. I called twice and was told I would receive available times to reschedule my initial consultation because the doctor had canceled my first appointment. More than a week has passed, and I still have not received a response. As a new patient, it is frustrating to be told twice that someone will follow up and then hear nothing.

So far, Illume has been a tremendous help to my partner and me. They acted quickly to address our unexplained infertility and help us pursue our goal. They are responsive, assembled a complete care team for us, and are very thorough in ensuring everything proceeds smoothly. We are very grateful. Although we only started our first cycle this week, the process began two months ago, and we feel prepared.
My only advice is to be very specific when asking questions. I initially knew little about the process, and because they explain it one step at a time, it can be confusing if you do not understand the full sequence or specific timeline. They always answer all our questions, and I am sure they work with many different kinds of patients, but someone like me needs to be proactive to ease anxiety and feel reassured.
I gave four stars because the timeline confused me. I am a teacher and work far away, so my ability to visit Harrison during the school year is very limited, and I wanted to complete as much as possible over summer break. Since I begin working in Sullivan County in late August, I worried about completing everything on time and knew that fitting multiple appointments into a short period could be difficult. Everyone responded, but some information seemed to be missing. For example, when I scheduled medication delivery, there were videos but no instructions for my own regimen. The only information I received was that I would take birth control pills for at least 7 days before starting injections. It turned out there was a 3-day gap between the pills and injections, at least in my case, though no one explained that. I also had to contact them for my protocol after arranging delivery. This extra step felt unnecessary when I was already anxious about receiving a refrigerated package and watching countless instructional videos. I wish they provided a visual timeline showing the days of each cycle, even if adjustments might be needed, so I would not repeatedly panic about falling behind.
Ultimately, everything worked out and the timing was right, so I think I simply did not understand the process. Thank you for all your help! I hope this cycle works :)

As a donor, I had a very positive experience at Illume in Norwalk. Their team was knowledgeable, welcoming, and always ready to help. They truly went above and beyond. I highly recommend them!

They just want your money, they don’t care about helping you figure out what’s wrong. It’s IVF or they don’t care and they’ll refer you out before your partner is even examined. They have someone who’s supposed to help you “financially plan” but they just explain your health insurance plan and then never get back to you. They didn’t even give an estimate for a procedure that had an original cost of over $1,300 but was still $858 after insurance.

I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Kucherov and especially nurse Jocelyn Crespo. From the moment I met them, I felt valued, heard, and cared for—not only as a patient, but as a person navigating an unimaginably emotional and vulnerable journey.
Jocelyn is everything one could hope for in a fertility nurse and more. She is exceptional, attentive, kind, and compassionate in every interaction. She is diligent and organized, and every question is answered. She follows up promptly, ensuring you remain informed and supported at each stage. Often, she answers questions before you even contact her. Her empathy and dedication are invaluable during such a private and uncertain experience. Jocelyn truly treats you like her only patient, and that level of attention is rare.
Dr. Kucherov is equally admirable. He is brilliant, approachable, and genuinely committed to his patients. He explains everything patiently and thoroughly, never makes you feel rushed, and combines deep medical expertise with sincere care. His calm, confident, warm approach immediately puts you at ease, and you can tell he truly cares about your outcome. He is not only a doctor, but a partner throughout the journey.
As a physician who owns a large medical practice, I understand how difficult it is to balance modern medicine’s clinical demands with compassionate care. I know the challenges of managing staff, adapting to changing insurance policies, and maintaining quality and empathy under pressure. Illume Fertility, particularly this team, excels in every area. Their attention to detail, proactive communication, and patient-centered philosophy are what every medical practice should strive for.

My IVF journey is just beginning, but after four recurrent pregnancy losses (RPL), finding Illume has been a blessing. From the front desk and scheduling team to my dedicated patient navigator, everyone I have encountered has been kind, patient, and helpful.
My nurse Kathy has been my anchor. She always returns calls promptly, patiently answers every question, and makes me feel genuinely cared for. And Dr. Hurwitz…words cannot express my gratitude. He is direct, knowledgeable, and honest, yet warm, considerate, and reassuring. He explains everything clearly and always makes me feel safe and supported.
Time will tell where this journey leads, but knowing I have such an excellent team beside me brings tremendous peace of mind. Thank you, Illume.

Illume Trumbull provided excellent service from the start, so I expected the same care when I went to Illume Norwalk for egg retrieval. Unfortunately, that was not the case. After the procedure, I developed mild to severe ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome (OHSS). A Norwalk doctor called but seemed to think I was overreacting. When I needed IV fluids for severe dehydration, he said my veins were difficult and told me to drink Gatorade. I had to plead before they finally gave me fluids. A wonderful nurse administered the IV, but I felt I would have been better off going to the ER than trusting Norwalk. The two stars are entirely for that excellent nurse.

I went to the Norwalk clinic to submit simple test results and was told it would take about 5–7 days. It took 15 days because neither my doctor nor I could reach the clinic staff. When we finally did, they said, “Sorry, we forgot to fax it.” Two more days passed and it still had not been faxed. This is the most unprofessional team I have encountered.

We had a wonderful experience at Illume Fertility while building our family. From the moment we entered, the entire team made us feel welcome and supported. They truly understood the emotional journey of fertility treatment and provided compassionate care at every step.
One of the best aspects was how they respected our time and work-life balance. Our visits were efficient, and we were always in and out without feeling rushed. This made managing appointments around busy work schedules much easier!

I recently had my first fertility consultation at Illume in Stamford. We arrived about five minutes after our 8:30 a.m. appointment, but staff immediately asked why we were ‘so late’ and said the visit had to be rushed because another patient was scheduled at 9:30. As a new patient, this felt uncomfortable. I understood that they were out of network, but communication about testing was poor. I gave a urine sample assuming it was a routine pregnancy test and later learned it was for gonorrhea and chlamydia; no one explained it or requested consent. No one said laboratory testing required fasting. The office appeared friendly and organized, but the experience felt efficient yet impersonal and opaque. Fertility care deserves clearer communication and more thoughtful attention.

My experience at this fertility clinic was very disappointing. They never disclosed the true costs in a timely manner and repeatedly told me treatment would be covered by insurance, which turned out not to be true. This caused major financial stress and delays.
The doctor also seemed very disorganized and did not clearly explain my diagnosis, treatment plan, or why there were such long waits between steps. I often felt confused and uninformed about my own care.
I also had a uterine polyp removed at this clinic, but it returned within six months, making me question whether the procedure was performed properly.
Overall, I did not feel supported, adequately informed, or confident in the care I received.

How can I express my gratitude to this team? My experience has been wonderful ever since I came to illume to see Dr. Ressler. Every staff member has been helpful and knowledgeable at every stage. I initially consulted Dr. Ressler about fertility treatment, but ultimately conceived naturally. Whenever I saw the team, they greeted me with smiles, scheduled appointments around my availability, and promptly answered my questions. I wish I could stay with the clinic longer than 8-9 weeks, but their process is to transfer me to my OB-GYN at 10 weeks. Once again, thank you to everyone—Chelsea, Briggette, Thelma, Dr. Ressler, and all those who helped me in any way. I simply want to say thank you!

This clinic is wonderful. I felt comfortable with the staff from day one. They are all helpful, informative, and kind. Through every scan and blood test, appointments were smooth and quick without feeling rushed. On egg-retrieval day, I felt calm and comfortable and trusted every staff member I encountered. My team of nurses, doctors, patient coordinators, and financial advisers was excellent. They put me at ease, answered every question, and told me exactly what I needed to know—no more and no less. This kept the IVF process from feeling overwhelming, and so far I have not felt stressed during any part of the journey. I highly recommend them to anyone; I even had my sister-in-law contact Illume. My journey is not over, but Illume has kept me hopeful.

I cannot say enough good things about Illume! Every physician, nurse, phlebotomist, receptionist, and other staff member I met was kind and helpful. I worked with Dr. Hurwitz, but also met other physicians along the way. Each was friendly, made me comfortable, and was knowledgeable. The nurses and phlebotomists are simply the best. My nurse Ashley was wonderful. She answered all my questions, large and small, and showed empathy throughout. From the reception staff to my physician and everyone I have encountered, they have been friendly, supportive, encouraging, sincere, prompt, efficient, and highly responsive. Everyone I met here was wonderful except my physician. I scheduled an ultrasound that my doctor said he wanted to perform himself, but he did not come to the appointment, so a doctor we had never met performed it instead. The new doctor did not want to discuss the results in detail because he said that was my doctor's responsibility. Fine, I understood. Several days later, I still had not heard from my doctor, so I called. When he returned my call, he was very unfriendly and berated me for wasting his time by asking questions that he said I should discuss with my husband. First, this is my body and my insurance. Second, I tell my husband everything we discuss. Third, I am also a physician—there are ways to communicate without making patients feel belittled or as though their questions do not deserve a kind, compassionate answer and explanation. I cannot imagine ordering a diagnostic test for one of my patients, failing to call for several days, and then berating them when they call for results. He could easily have said—or asked a nurse to call if he was too busy—that he wanted to schedule a consultation for us to discuss everything together. That would have been fine. Yet even years later, he has left a very negative impression. I will never return to Illume or recommend it to anyone.
Beyond patient care, I called repeatedly about my account balance and repeatedly requested a receipt showing that I had paid about $1,500. I then sent another $1,800 that they said I owed. After several calls, I still could not obtain a copy of my account balance showing the payment, nor a clear answer about whether I still owed $1,800 or whether the $1,500 had been applied to that balance. Each time, I was told I owed $1,800 without any explanation of how the $1,500 had been credited.
A very frustrating experience.

I have just completed diagnostic testing in my fertility journey. The front desk staff, nurses, and three doctors I met were all very knowledgeable and friendly. I had no idea what to expect. It is both exciting and worrying, but everyone made me feel comfortable and welcome. They see you promptly, which reduces anxiety, and explain every step in detail so you understand what they are doing. I am glad I chose Illume to help with my fertility journey.

There is always a doctor in the room at every exam, which is very reassuring and was not the case at our previous clinic. Although we are only halfway through our cycle, I am very grateful for everyone's support. My only complaint is that the waiting room is too small, but fortunately you do not have to wait there long.

If I could give five stars, I would give 50,000 without hesitation! Working with Illume during the hardest period of our lives was a dream come true. We sought help after several early miscarriages.
We are very grateful to our dedicated care team: Dr. Kucherov, nurse Jamie, and patient navigator Cathlyn. All three were exceptional. From our first visit, we felt supported, fully informed, and hopeful about our future. Throughout six months of treatment, Dr. Kucherov and Jamie went above and beyond and patiently answered every question. My husband and I will always be grateful for their attentive care. Although we ultimately conceived naturally, I believe it was entirely due to the treatment plan Dr. Kucherov developed for us. He is an extraordinary physician and person!
We primarily visited the Danbury clinic but also went to Norwalk and Trumbull several times. From the women at reception and the phlebotomists handling morning monitoring to our excellent physician assistant Diana, who performed our ultrasounds, every staff member treated us with respect and compassion and kept us informed throughout.
We also thank Dr. Leondires, who performed a necessary procedure in the Norwalk operating room. Dr. Leondires was calm and reassuring, which greatly eased our anxiety and fear that morning. Our nurse Sara and the anesthesiologist were also excellent.
Everything at the clinic was clean, organized, warm, and comfortable. Words cannot express my gratitude to everyone at Illume for such a positive experience. I truly wish Dr. K and Jamie could remain with us throughout the pregnancy. We are deeply grateful and cannot wait to welcome our baby in June 2026.

I went there for intrauterine insemination and initially felt good about the clinic. They assigned me a ‘support team’ to handle everything from finances to medical care. As treatment continued, however, I felt like livestock. They were indifferent, and I saw the doctor responsible for my care only twice, including the initial consultation. In addition, my nurse and records coordinator were absent for half of my treatment, so even though I had their direct numbers, I had to call the clinic or front desk whenever I had a question. If you are struggling with infertility as I was, and I can attest that it is extremely painful and difficult, I recommend avoiding this clinic. At first they made many confident promises, but once treatment ended, it was as though you had never been their patient.

I had done two IUIs elsewhere and came to Illume looking for personalized, empowering care. I had had a terrible experience at another practice and didn't want to sacrifice quality of care for convenience. I spent a little over a year with Illume and had a wonderful experience. I met with all the doctors, but my favorites were Cynthia Murdock and Alexander Kucherov. They all treated me like a person and not a number, recognized that IVF is a physical and emotional rollercoaster, and adapted treatment plans to my body and goals. I was always able to be accompanied by my husband and I even brought in my grandmother and my son to some appointments, which felt amazing. They were gentle, compassionate, and communicative and I am so thankful. I also really loved and appreciated seeing Black and Brown staff as a Black woman who has experienced racism and bias many times navigating the medical system. They all took such great care of me and now I am expecting my little baby girl after four years of infertility. Thank you!

My experience at Illume Fertility in Danbury, Connecticut, has been wonderful. From reception to the medical staff, everyone is welcoming, kind, and compassionate.
The staff always greeted me with a smile, comforted me on my hardest days, and reassured me that everything would be all right. This meant more to me than they may realize.
This is my second fertility treatment cycle. My first treatment was intrauterine insemination (IUI), which unfortunately failed. I am now undergoing IVF and am currently at the egg retrieval stage. Throughout the process, my doctor, nurses, and phlebotomists have been professional, patient, and very reassuring.
IVF can be extremely stressful and emotional, but the Illume team has made me feel supported at every step. I sincerely appreciate their care and thoughtfulness.

Choosing Illume was the best decision for us! We came to the clinic before we were fully ready to have children, but we knew we would need IVF regardless. We decided to create and freeze our embryos while I was still young, at 29, rather than wait several more years.
We were assigned to Dr. Shaun Williams. We truly enjoyed working with him, and I was always happy when he performed my monitoring. He explained everything well, including our options and the process.
I had the best nurse, Linda, who was extremely helpful and kind! I could email her many questions and receive warm answers the same day. I truly appreciated it! The same was true of my patient coordinator, Katherine. Linda was out of the office during our first cycle, but another excellent nurse, Jodi, covered for her, and I will always be grateful that she guided us through that first cycle.
Moving quickly was important to us, and we appreciated that Illume could accommodate us and our busy schedule. We had our first consultation in early August and began stimulation in early September as soon as all results were available. Dr. Williams left for vacation before we started, but he prepared my protocol in advance, so everything was ready. I saw other doctors at monitoring appointments, and all were excellent and answered my questions.
Because we hope to have a larger family, we decided to complete another embryo-freezing cycle. So far, everything has gone as smoothly as the first time. We adjusted my protocol slightly and hope for better results!
We are very grateful to work with such an excellent team and expect to return for a transfer in two or three years. After reading for weeks, I felt stressed about the process, but Illume truly made it easy and comfortable. Thank you!

I am dissatisfied with my experience. Dr. Williams was wonderful, and I regret that we could not continue his care because we had to move to another state. Unfortunately, I cannot say the same about the staff. My navigator was unavailable most of the time, and it took one or two weeks to reach her. After I asked about insurance coverage, it took nearly a month and several calls before anyone contacted me. I requested my records, but they said the first form I signed was “never received” and asked me to sign another. I am still waiting for the records to be sent. Because we have an appointment with our new office, I called repeatedly to follow up. The person on the phone hung up before allowing me to fully explain the situation. It was extremely frustrating. I hope future patients do not have to deal with unprofessional staff.

Illume is awful; from beginning to end, you feel like nothing more than a check to them. On your first call, you are asked to choose “your doctor,” but be aware that you will almost never see that doctor. In about 20 in-person appointments, we saw the doctor twice, and both times she did not know who I was or what my plan was.
Our “team” was extremely disorganized and did not communicate. We felt no support at all. I was constantly reaching out and following up on everything. Morning visits felt more like urgent care: often no seats, no privacy during such a sensitive time, appointments scheduled aloud in front of a full room, awkward encounters with people you know, and a cold, sad atmosphere every morning. Several times I also found urine samples on the bathroom sink with patient information and dates from days earlier at the Trumbull and Norwalk locations.
Once medications begin, everyone knows the expense is substantial. We were repeatedly told we needed more and more. We did not ultimately need all of it and paid out of pocket for unnecessary medication because they would not listen. I suggested delaying the order in case it was not needed, but the nurse insisted. It is now unused in my refrigerator and must be discarded, but I cannot bring myself to throw away hundreds of dollars.
Our egg-retrieval process was a nightmare. The operating-room staff behaved as though you were undergoing emergency surgery, rushing everything and making an already frightening, anxiety-filled experience worse.
At one point, I believe we should have been asked whether to freeze some eggs or attempt fertilization. My husband had surgery too, and his sperm did not meet the standard. Instead, even after seeing this, they continued trying to fertilize all my eggs without calling us. No one asked whether we should preserve any or how we wanted to proceed. The doctor said he searched for sperm for hours, so there was time to call. A good doctor would focus on our goals. Unfortunately, the retrieval was unsuccessful, and different people gave conflicting stories for months—yes, sperm was frozen; no, it was not. It turned out we had frozen sperm for the past 10 months.
Research your options. We chose this clinic because my OB-GYN recommended it. After the first few visits, I felt lost and frustrated by the communication. I wish we had left instead of continuing through the full process and retrieval. We have since found another clinic where the doctor explains everything and leaves us with no questions. Do not assume patients without medical backgrounds understand what you mean. We are still trying to obtain our records. Good luck reaching anyone or getting anything done. My husband is still awaiting a billing-department callback from August.
It is tragic that a place like this can provide such poor care and such a bad experience. It makes you question whether to endure the process again when all you want is a child of your own. I hope this review encourages others to consider alternatives, or at least advocate for themselves and ask questions at every step. I wish I had, but I did not know what I needed to ask.

Attentive care from the front desk to the clinical staff! Their encouragement through some very frightening situations made the process much easier! Although the testing I underwent was highly invasive, it was handled and explained thoughtfully, and I felt cared for by every staff member each time. We were fortunate to conceive naturally, but their care did not end with conception. Although my own OB-GYN could not and would not see me before 8 weeks, Illume started early monitoring and gave my husband and me the reassurance we had sought from Illume at our initial consultation. Illume is a group of people genuinely working to make the prospect of having children later in life less frightening, and we will always be grateful.

My fiancé and I were excited to begin our journey with this clinic, but unfortunately, I cannot say they felt the same. After the initial interview, the clinic essentially disappeared. I was told that a team of people would contact me, but they did not; only my nurse did. When I contacted my nurse to ask about the next step, I was completely ignored for two full weeks. I was extremely disappointed, especially because fertility problems are already an obstacle, and receiving no support from the doctor and “team” during this already difficult journey makes you feel even worse. I had to restart my search for a reproductive endocrinologist. I hope your experience is better than mine.

I can recommend the clinic; everyone is very kind. My nurse, Sarah Cannavaro, is the best. She explains every question you may have in detail. She does not speak 100% Spanish, but she tries to make you feel comfortable by explaining things in Spanish. I care for her very much. My doctor, Alexander Kucherov, is the best and always positive about any diagnosis a patient may have. Thanks 🙏🏻 to him and the entire team, I am pregnant 🤰🏻. I don't get why their communication is so poor. I am so frustrated with them. I called and everytime I do, I get cut off or told someone will call back. Then 2 weeks later nothing. The only reason I am still continuing is because I do not wish to start all over again. When I consulted with the doctor I was reassured that the process from testing to implantation takes about 2 weeks. Here I am 4 months later running the staff down so I can get this over with. Sigh

We were briefly patients at Illumine *18 months ago* and still to this day receive sporadic bills related to services from 2024. It is impossible to get in touch with the billing department. We managed it a month ago and were assured that there were no other bills. We have now received a bill from a *debt collector*.
This company is an absolute disaster when it comes to billing, and resolving billing issues. Avoid at all costs.
Can someone from Illume contact me as a matter of urgency.

If I could, I would give this clinic zero stars. If you want to be overlooked, this is the place for you. The clinic operates like an assembly line. Your coordinator has no idea who you are and cannot even write a proper email. Leaving Illume for another clinic was the best decision I made on my fertility journey.

The doctors and nurses are excellent, but if you encounter any billing or administrative issue, you will face billing discrepancies, errors, and network and insurance problems throughout your pregnancy. I wish them well, but no one there can explain insurance, and communication options are limited. Two different financial representatives gave me completely different information, and calling the office did not help. Their accreditation transition caused major billing problems.
One person told me to make a note to remember to follow up with them over the next few weeks, rather than the other way around. I wish I could speak with someone instead of leaving this review, but it is impossible to find anyone willing to answer the phone.
Update: An incorrect bill from my first week of pregnancy was not resolved until my child was 6 months old. Two stars because they finally corrected it, although I did all the work, so perhaps I deserve the stars.

We came here with unexplained infertility and never expected to become pregnant through IVF after just one cycle—with identical twins! Twice the love and twice the joy; we are overjoyed. We began treatment at Illume in June and had a successful embryo transfer in mid-October. From Dr. Meyer and Dr. Ressler to Amanda at the front desk and everyone involved in patient care, we feel extremely fortunate to have received such attentive care throughout. Do not donate here. They are very unprofessional. The advertised $15,000 compensation is false, and the actual amount is much lower. They do not cover basic costs as other agencies do and are difficult to work with. Donate elsewhere.

Illume Fertility was amazing from start to finish. Dr. Ressler is kind and thorough, and everything is explained in great detail. My nurses, Katie and Rachel, supported me every step of the way and responded promptly to every email. I honestly cannot imagine a better experience.

After comparing several fertility clinics, we felt Illume stood out for its organization, clear communication, and overall warmth. We feel fortunate to have been under Dr. Murdock's care. She was always caring and kind while remaining clear and objective. She helped us build our knowledge and prepared us well to make decisions throughout the process. We truly could not ask for more from a doctor or fertility clinic. Highly, highly recommended.

Working with Illume and Dr. Murdock was a wonderful experience! Everyone was very kind, and the understanding shown by the Illume team was truly outstanding. I am very grateful that we found them and could complete our fertility journey under their care.

I had a terrible experience with Dr. Murdock. What she did did not reflect a competent fertility doctor. She wasted my time and money. This practice and working with her will only drain your money without helping you.
