My main complaint concerns the frozen embryo transfer service. I called about a duplicate charge, and Rene, who answered, was extremely rude. I asked to speak with a manager, and she practically refused outright. Only after I asked three times did she say, “Oh, I think she’s in a meeting. Sorry.” When I requested a callback, she responded, “Okay, what’s your phone number?” The duplicate charge is a problem in itself, and getting them to resolve it is even more difficult. These are our children. They have no understanding of how stressful paying for IVF can be, and RBA’s cold, uncaring customer service is completely unacceptable. If this is how they operate and treat people going through one of the darkest periods of their lives, I would never recommend their services to anyone.

Dr. Straub and his entire team are amazing! I completed my first IVF cycle using my genetically tested frozen eggs, and it finally worked—my beautiful baby is now in my arms! Thank you, Karuna!

This clinic is a joke. They do not care about patients and only want to maximize profits. If I could give zero stars, I would. They told us our insurance would not cover a semen analysis, so we had to pay out of pocket, which we did. Then they billed our insurance anyway and tried to charge us again for the portion insurance did not cover. The scheduling department is nearly impossible to reach, and even if you get an appointment, they may call to cancel it the same day because they do not know when they will be understaffed. My husband was told a location and time for his appointment. After driving nearly two hours, he arrived and was told it had been moved to a clinic near our home half an hour later. He received no email or text confirmation or reminder and no notice that the appointment had changed. The doctor we saw also seemed indifferent. Without conducting any tests himself, he immediately chose the most extreme option. We will take our business elsewhere. We wasted far too much time here; do not waste yours.

Dr. Straub and his team are amazing! He was very patient, answered all our questions, and carefully explained the entire treatment process. We were deeply impressed with him, his team, and the whole clinic!

I do not usually write reviews—especially under my name—but I felt it necessary to share my experience in hopes of helping others in similar situations. After our first visit to RBA, my husband and I felt hopeful. We felt heard and valued, and received clear information that helped us decide what to do next. After several visits and tests, we chose intrauterine insemination (IUI). We began our first cycle hopefully, despite knowing the odds were low. Unfortunately, it failed. We then learned that some of my hormone levels were nearly zero, preventing me from sustaining a pregnancy. Nevertheless, we immediately began a second IUI cycle without additional testing or monitoring to ensure the levels had improved. Sadly, the second cycle also failed. Even with suppositories, my hormone levels barely rose. When I received the results, the doctor said there were no other tests to perform and “this may simply be part of your own issue.” Infertility and trying to conceive are emotionally painful, isolating, exhausting, and expensive. My husband and I felt no support or care. Our concerns were dismissed, and months passed without any face-to-face contact with our primary doctor. Since our latest results, we have heard nothing from them—no guidance, compassion, or follow-up. The nurses simply said, “Let us know when you are ready to start the next cycle.” I strongly advise anyone considering RBA or any fertility clinic to research thoroughly and ensure the care team will truly support you. We entered hopeful and trusting but left more confused and discouraged than when we began.

It is impossible to schedule with anyone in this practice. I was referred here with high expectations, but surprisingly there was no communication at all. You would be better off sending anything that needs testing to China.

They will not even answer to schedule an appointment.

I absolutely love RBA! Dr. Straub was my fertility doctor, and he and his team were wonderful and attentive to all our needs. My husband and I had tried to conceive for four years without success. Dr. Straub patiently guided us through four unsuccessful IUI cycles and then IVF. We underwent two IVF cycles; there were laboratory problems during the first. Dr. Straub and his team were understanding, accepted full responsibility, and made sure we were prepared for success. Sadly, I miscarried at seven weeks after the first IVF cycle, but Dr. Straub and his team supported me throughout and made sure my husband and I were physically and emotionally ready for the next cycle. We have now graduated from RBA and are nine weeks pregnant, approaching week 10 and the second trimester. Thank you, RBA, Dr. Straub, and the entire team for helping us grow our family!
