Dr. Hutchinson is knowledgeable, thorough, and reassuring. I had been looking for a doctor who would not dismiss my concerns and would instead try to identify the root cause of my symptoms. I can now fully trust Dr. Hutchinson's treatment plan.

She is wonderful, knowledgeable, calm, and down-to-earth.

I recently completed the final frozen embryo transfer from this egg retrieval. Although Dr. Hutchinson was not my primary physician, I know she provided tremendous help throughout the process. My experience on the day of the procedure was absolutely perfect! She was kind, respectful, and professional, and her presence was a breath of fresh air that made me feel completely at ease. She helped me relax and eased my anxiety, and her positive, optimistic attitude far exceeded my expectations. My husband and I are both very grateful that she performed my procedure. I really like the RAD clinic in Newark. They are always punctual, friendly, thoughtful, and caring. This is some of the best medical care I have ever received.

First, I want to say that the doctors and coordinators I dealt with were wonderful. My issue was with billing. Michelle Ward was very unprofessional and dismissive and honestly did not care about helping. My appointment was September 17, and on the 16th I received a message saying I had to pay $1,600 upfront. I politely asked whether my insurance did not cover it, but received no answer. When I arrived at 8 a.m. the next morning after taking time off work, the receptionist said I owed $1,600. I asked again whether insurance did not cover it. She apparently called billing and told me I had to pay upfront and would be reimbursed by insurance. My fiancée said we should call our insurer. Before the appointment, they had told me they covered 80%, with a $750 individual and $1,500 family amount. When I called again, they said the same and clarified that they absolutely would not reimburse the payment. I then contacted Ms. Michelle. She was extremely dismissive and only said she had contacted my insurer on August 15 and had been told the same thing. First, if they contacted the insurer on August 15, why wait a month until the day before my appointment to tell me the cost? Second, I told her I had just spoken with my insurer. After several exchanges, she repeatedly said that was what the insurer had said and wished me well. Even after I sent a screenshot of my insurance plan and gave her the phone number, she refused to call and verify, although my insurer had again told me that morning that the testing was covered. I later called RAD to cancel all future appointments until the issue was resolved. The woman on the phone sounded like the helpful person I remembered from when I first scheduled. What happened? I explained everything, and she said I had been treated improperly and would have her manager contact me. The manager called a few hours later, but I missed it. I called back about 20 minutes later, left a message, and a week has passed without another call. It is unfortunate because you would expect a fertility clinic to genuinely want to help people, not treat them this way. Some staff are excellent; others are not. I now have to find another fertility clinic. I had heard many positive reviews from friends, but the way I was treated was unacceptable. They made no effort to help. Again, the doctors, coordinators, and the woman who originally scheduled me were wonderful.

Note: They delete negative reviews. The data are biased. I can think of at least five one-star reviews that seem to have disappeared, all on the same theme. There are also other firsthand experiences and potential lawsuits. I have never experienced worse medical trauma or treatment than I did with their founder, Dr. Barbara A. McGuirk. Even years later, I am still shocked that I cried during an appointment because of how she treated me, and she told me without compassion that I had no reason to cry. RAD may be great if you are thin, but as soon as a heavier person, including those of us with polycystic ovary syndrome, walks through the door, their bias becomes clear. Be aware that this place was founded by someone with questionable ethics.

They are the best!! I was lucky to find them. Before starting IVF with them, I had 3 miscarriages and felt heartbroken and hopeless. Now my baby boy will be 6 months old next week :) 1- The office is excellent, and they have an on-site blood-draw lab, so you do not have to go to Labcorp or elsewhere. 2- Everyone, from the front desk to the nurses and doctors, is very kind and professional. 3- I am very impatient and irritable and wanted to become pregnant and have a baby immediately. They were highly efficient with every step and all communication. I always received prompt replies and never had to wait anxiously for answers. They also treated my endometriosis. Dr. Wendy J. Schillings was my doctor. So far, I cannot think of anything negative about this place. I just want to thank everyone there. I am truly happy now! Thank you, RAD!

Although I only had one telehealth consultation with this clinic, it was not a good experience. I did not appreciate the assumptions the doctor made based solely on my height and weight. Do not assume from those numbers that I am inactive or unhealthy. Perhaps meet me in person and check other vital signs before making such assumptions.

I am extremely grateful to RAD. After two years of fertility treatment elsewhere, which I hesitate to call a clinic, we felt we had made no progress. After multiple timed-intercourse and intrauterine insemination (IUI) cycles and three miscarriages, we began to lose hope. They kept telling us we did not need in vitro fertilization (IVF), that we could conceive with intrauterine insemination (IUI), and continued IUI cycles after recurrent miscarriages. We sought another opinion at RAD and were fortunate to find Dr. Schillings. She immediately recommended in vitro fertilization (IVF), and it has been a very positive experience. We are preparing to begin an FET cycle and feel hopeful.

I will always recommend RAD! They gave us our first miracle, and we hope to welcome our second very soon. The compassion of these people is special—they are more than staff; they are family. 💛

I graduated from RAD a few weeks ago. I still remember how heartbroken and discouraged my husband and I were after three failed IUIs at another clinic. We came to RAD uncertain about the future, and I found myself reading Google reviews every day. It seemed there was a new success story every week—another person had become pregnant. Those stories brought me tremendous comfort and hope. From the moment we arrived, we truly felt the professionalism and warmth here. From the phlebotomists to the nurses, doctors, and even the two women at the front desk, everyone was professional, kind, and attentive. Whenever I had a question, someone was always willing to listen and provide a thoughtful answer. I never felt overlooked or alone. I have finally become one of the weekly success stories. We are extremely grateful to RAD for helping us realize our dream of becoming parents. To everyone still struggling with infertility: believe in yourself and trust your doctor—the next success story could be yours. Do not give up. By the way, my doctor is very busy.

RAD is a blessing for couples trying to conceive. They have a wonderful team that cares for you in every possible way and helps you reach the finish line. I highly recommend RAD.

I cannot fully express how happy I am with this amazing group of people. Everyone in the office is welcoming and genuinely cares about you. I first came to them in 2021 feeling afraid, and they were wonderful in every way. Whenever I had concerns, their portal replies were reassuring and attentive. I will miss everyone! The wait time is ridiculous. They schedule several patients at once and then forget about you.
