I have had the privilege of working professionally with CA IVF and have consistently been impressed by the team's expertise, empathy, and coordination. Everyone shows a strong commitment to high-quality care and personalized attention. Their communication is thoughtful, and they clearly value a positive patient experience. This is a well-managed, highly skilled team that combines professionalism with genuine care in every aspect of its work.

Best IVF doctor in California. I don’t want to go into our fertility journey here, but I’ve spoken with a lot of doctors, and Dr. Zeringue is on another level. I know a lot of this is scientific, and at the end of the day you just want results. But when you’re going through it, you realize how emotional and vulnerable the whole process really is. That’s where the right doctor makes all the difference. Dr. Z clearly knows what he’s doing, but what stood out to me even more is how he communicates and how he treats people. He makes you feel comfortable, informed, and supported without overcomplicating things. And his team at California IVF is incredible too. They’re kind, responsive, organized, and they make the entire experience feel a lot less overwhelming. I know every case is different, but I highly recommend him. If you’re trying to start or grow your family and want to feel taken care of every step of the way, this is the team you want in your corner.

I began IVF in 2024 and delivered successfully in 2025. I carried to term, and my son is now five months old and very healthy. My experience at the center was excellent, and the staff were professional and helpful throughout. I would definitely recommend this center to anyone considering IVF and would return if needed.

I had the best experience with them. We tried to conceive for four years, and now I am pregnant after my first transfer. I want to thank Ashley Cook, Teresa, and everyone who supported me. You are all amazing!

Our story is similar: we tried for several years and went through several rounds of fertility treatment. We found California IVF professional, compassionate, and reasonably priced, and we loved the staff and doctors. We were very happy with our experience there and hope this review helps. For anyone still undecided, would I wholeheartedly recommend California IVF to everyone facing fertility issues?

The clinic's lead reproductive endocrinology and infertility specialist, Dr. Zeringue, is outstanding. He genuinely cares about patients and takes time to explain everything clearly, even sharing images and research to help patients understand treatment options. I greatly appreciate how thorough he is when discussing conditions and possible treatments. The clinic staff are equally excellent. Valentina and Dionne are very kind and welcoming. I also appreciate that the clinic is family-friendly and allows children at visits. Dr. Zeringue has decades of experience and deep knowledge of the evolving field of reproductive endocrinology. It is reassuring to see a doctor who stays current with the latest research and advances. I previously visited another local clinic where I felt more like a customer than a patient. They even refused to perform a saline ultrasound before egg retrieval, which was a major warning sign for me. In contrast, Dr. Zeringue personally performed a saline ultrasound before in vitro fertilization (IVF), carefully checked every detail, and explained everything thoroughly. I never felt rushed into a decision and still received excellent, attentive care. A close friend recommended CalIVF after successful IVF, and I am glad she did. My experience here exceeded my expectations!

I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE! In 2021, I experienced medical negligence at the hands of Dr. Ernest Zeringue. He took advantage of my vulnerable state and only cared to make money from my situation. He convinced me I needed to go through IVF, which I was only interested in getting a fibroid removed. When I underwent IVF, they prescribed me the highest dosage of hormones they would for a patient (mind you, I am very petite), which caused lasting damage to my system and organs that I now have to deal with for the rest of my life! They disregarded my life and well being and only cared that I return the following month to do it all over again. Now thousands and thousands of dollars later, I’ve been working on healing and still recovering years later from this horrific experience. Please seek Northern California IVF if you’re looking into IVF treatment, but don’t come to this place. They’re only interested in their bottom line…money. I don’t ever wish this upon anyone else.

Now, 2 years after giving birth and 1 more on the way I have the need to share about our wonderful experience with this clinic! Our OBGYN recommended this location and we followed her lead and made an appointment. Scheduling was very easy and communications with Sutter was easy. the clinic helped us to save money by referring the test to our OBGYN through our health insurance. Once we decided on IVF we had a great experience with Linda who was our lead nurse. She walked us through the process and made sure our feelings and concerns has a place. Later we were signed for our coordinator Kassidy, she was above and beyond in order to manage the schedule without the need to miss work days. Dr.Zeringue was very nice and always made sure we are comfortable by explaining us every step of the process. Last but not least is the billing department and wonderful miss Stacy who was fighting our insurance company in order for us to get the full rights and above it. California IVF is a great place to receive care. I want to begin by saying that everyone going through IVF hopes for a miracle baby, but some things cannot be promised by any provider. We recently moved back to California and met with Dr. Kim, who was very informative. We then switched to Dr. Zeringue because of a career change. Both doctors were excellent. Every clinic has its own process, and we appreciate that one of the most challenging parts for clinic coordinators is managing patients' emotional stress and anxiety. A special shout-out to Aaron and Jennifer. We want to thank you for giving us hope for our miracle baby and a positive pregnancy. We appreciate the care we received and wish you continued success in bringing happiness to more babies and families.

I have wanted to share my experience with CA IVF for some time, especially after a discussion with a friend who encouraged me to write this review to help them improve their approach. Overall, the staff was acceptable, but that is the extent of the positive aspects for me. At our first visit, our primary nurse, Linda, casually mentioned during the conversation that she was married to the lead physician overseeing treatment, which felt unprofessional. I did not understand why that was relevant. At our next visit, she told us she would be away for a week because she was having a personal procedure at the IVF clinic—tubal ligation because she did not want more children. I was speechless. Again, I did not understand why we were being told this. Another concerning issue arose as we struggled with expensive treatment decisions. Instead of offering supportive guidance, Nurse Linda chose to share a rather inappropriate anecdote about a former patient, calling her “lucky” because she had a “sugar daddy.” On the positive side, Katie was wonderful, and the anesthesiologist had a good sense of humor. However, I recommend finding a clinic that prioritizes patients' emotional journeys. I will remember Linda, the doctor's wife, for the rest of my life. Unfortunately, I will probably retell this story for decades.

Terrible company. Despite my insurance covering everything, they keep sending me bills for a 'new patient visit.' Then they do not even answer the phone.

When I first came to CA IVF, I was wary, angry, hurt, and sad. I had a 'been there, done that' attitude, and frankly I was deeply discouraged to find myself at another IVF clinic. In January 2024, we lost our second and final embryo from our first IVF cycle performed out of state. My husband and I discussed the advantages and disadvantages of traveling out of state to a clinic and doctor we trusted. Our first standard of care and treatment had been 10/10, so what could compare? After considering everything, we decided to meet with Dr. Kim for a consultation because it seemed more logical than traveling elsewhere and starting over. I am sure we were not the easiest patients. After all, we were already experts in the process. Long story short, I can confidently say that trusting Dr. Kim was the best decision our family could have made. He reviewed my prior medical records in depth and understood every detail of my previous treatment. He recommended several changes and explained precisely why he believed they were appropriate. Whether based on new research or his personal experience with patients, Dr. Kim gave me his expert opinion and allowed me to decide which option I felt was best. I faithfully followed every recommendation from Dr. King and ultimately defied nearly every statistic for a 40-year-old woman! My egg retrievals were 3.5 years apart, but with the care and treatment I received at CA IVF, my results were much better. Yesterday we heard our miraculous little baby's heartbeat. I know we still have a long way to go before we can hold and love this precious baby, but we are here now, happy and hopeful because of you, Dr. Kim. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Please do not go to this fertility center. I am a veteran, and the VA offered me this location so I could obtain an earlier appointment. My husband and I had struggled with fertility for five years. Everyone was kind at first. The orientation appointment was very informative and seemed very promising. The first appointment and first cycle were unsuccessful. We proceeded with three more cycles, but they also failed. At the final appointment, the staff were very rude, and the employee on the phone showed no understanding of the time and effort people devote to this experience. I personally feel they used my insurance benefits without doing their job well. I had scheduled appointments, but the clinic was always running late when I arrived. Once, I waited an hour and a half for a five-minute examination. I was frustrated and felt unimportant. That was the turning point when I began to feel this company would simply take advantage of you for your money. A year later, I went to Northern California Fertility Medical Center, and the difference was night and day. Most of the staff understood what the fertility process requires and were compassionate. I later learned that California IVF Fertility Center had been inseminating me with immature follicles. Northern California Fertility Medical Center helped us conceive on our first attempt, and I am delighted to have a healthy baby girl. This fertility center is a scam and will not respect your time or effort.

Absolutely incredible staff; everyone's kindness and thoughtfulness are so genuine. After years of trying, two miscarriages, and an ectopic pregnancy, my dream of having a child felt shattered. Dr. Zeringue is the best physician for this work. I became pregnant after my first IVF cycle, all thanks to the excellent California IVF team. The entire process was smooth and stress-free. I recommend Dr. Zeringue and his team 100% for your IVF experience.

I had tubal reversal surgery and became pregnant three years later. I highly recommend this clinic; the doctor is excellent and the people are very kind.

I had planned to leave a review at the end of our journey, but after today's transfer, I did not want to wait. I am honestly shocked by some negative reviews I read. I was somewhat hesitant when choosing this clinic, but I am very glad we gave it a chance. The entire process was easy and smooth. Their educational courses go far beyond those offered by nearby clinics, and I appreciate the depth of detail provided. Dr. Kim and his team were amazing at every step. I cannot say enough good things about them. Even if this transfer does not succeed, it will not change my opinion of him or the team. I am extremely satisfied with his care and wish he could be my OB for the rest of our journey. I highly recommend him. Update: My transfer succeeded on the first attempt! I am extremely grateful to the staff for all their work.

Very high staff turnover has caused major management problems. We encountered issues with every staff change, roughly every 18 months. We paid in full when beginning the process, yet problems continued. What was once a pleasant experience became a very bad memory. If you seek lasting peace and happiness, avoid this company. Turnover in its office over the past decade has caused enormous problems.

I am extremely disappointed with California IVF, especially its billing department. I called in January to ask about another round of IVF treatment, and the receptionist said they would respond once my insurance coverage was confirmed. Since then, I have left countless voicemails and sent countless emails about coverage and treatment. Six months later, I have received no response—not one return call or email acknowledging my inquiry. As a woman of a certain age, I do not have months to wait for a reply. Such careless and unprofessional behavior is unacceptable from any health care provider. This place clearly does not care about its patients.
