Hello everyone. I hope my fertility journey can help anyone who wants a child, especially single people and older couples. I am 47. My fertility journey began several years ago when I was single and wanted a child. I saw many doctors, sometimes through insurance but usually paying out of pocket. I underwent several rounds of intrauterine insemination (IUI) and in vitro fertilization (IVF). After each failed attempt, I began to feel like giving up, but I did not because I wanted a child and knew it would not be easy. One day, I was fortunate to meet Dr. Jovanovic at Tree of Life. I had my first consultation with him and told him about my care at other fertility clinics and the different treatments I had received. Dr. Jovanovic explained the various options he wanted me to consider. We made a plan outlining which procedures to try first and what to try next if the first option did not work. Long story short, I tried several times, including IVF, but I did not give up or want to stop because I knew the longer I waited, the older I would be. Now, thanks to Dr. Jovanovic at Tree of Life, I am pregnant at 47 and expecting my first child. My due date is December 2025. Thank you to everyone at Tree of Life; you are all amazing. To everyone reading this, stay positive and do not give up.

I saw Mrs. Kim yesterday, and she was highly skilled. She was very gentle and friendly and showed tremendous compassion, reassurance, and care.

We had previously visited several other fertility clinics, and unfortunately their approach often felt rushed—moving directly to IVF without taking the time to truly understand our situation. Our experience with Dr. Carolyn Kim was completely different. She was warm, positive, and highly objective. Dr. Kim listened carefully to our story and made us feel genuinely welcomed and supported. For the first time, we felt hopeful and confident about continuing our journey. We are excited to move forward with them and highly recommend them to anyone seeking compassionate, thoughtful fertility care.

Although my two IVF cycles with Dr. Jovanovic at Tree of Life Center were unsuccessful, I would do it all over again without hesitation. We drove 3 1/2 hours each way to the facility, and every mile was worth the care and compassion we received. I had a pleasant consultation here. I truly appreciated that they took the time to explain the process and let me ask as many questions as I wanted. After unimaginable challenges, it gave me some hope. Unfortunately, almost a month after the initial consultation, I still had not received any information about my AMH results, any tests I needed to complete, or a discussion of the next steps. Because of this, I ultimately consulted another clinic where I chose to receive treatment. The staff and fertility specialist were wonderful, but the lack of communication was a deal-breaker for me during an already vulnerable and anxious time.

A wonderful first visit! The office was very clean and organized, the staff were extremely friendly, and Dr. Kim made my wife and me feel comfortable and heard. We appreciate all the information provided and found it very helpful to learn about every option available to us. We look forward to continuing our fertility journey at TLC!
