The staff are amazing! They were very helpful at every appointment.

This was my first visit to this clinic, and the experience was terrible. First, the lack of privacy was unbelievable. The office windows face the entire first floor, so everyone could hear our conversation. Male patients are directed to a single restroom that everyone entering the building uses. It made me want to shower afterward. Then there was billing. After the appointment, I was taken to the billing manager and told I owed $220. When I scheduled, they said they accepted my insurance—Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Carolina. It turned out they did not accept the Affordable Care Act “Value” plan, which was quite a surprise. They never told me the cost before the appointment. I had already met my deductible, so I was not expecting to pay anything. I also found this clinic through my insurer’s website. I probably will not return.

Natalie, Sarah, Rachel, and Lisa are the best. Dr. Johnson is an amazing, patient, and exceptionally intelligent physician. Their support meant so much, even on the hardest days. I will always be grateful to them!

Her individualized protocol benefited me greatly. IVF is not one-size-fits-all, and her plan was tailored to my needs, helping me feel reassured and safe. I truly felt part of a team working toward the same goal: my success. The process felt seamless, and I will always be grateful for their professionalism, expertise, and above all, the care they showed throughout. The team at Carolina Conceptions' Wilmington clinic is amazing! We live in New Bern, so it takes about two hours to drive to the Raleigh and Wilmington offices. We chose to do as many follow-up visits as possible in Wilmington because the staff are wonderful and get you through appointments quickly. I am happy to say that Carolina Conceptions gave me my four-week-old daughter, and the attentive care from Sarah, Natalie, and Lisa in Wilmington helped us through IVF!

The lack of communication is shocking. How can anyone trust this infertility practice when they cannot answer a simple question? I asked 3 times and even appeared in person at an empty reception area. A nurse saw me standing there—could she not tell someone that a patient was waiting at the desk?

As always, my experience was wonderful. Every staff member was very friendly. Natalie was excellent and made me feel comfortable and encouraged.

I cannot say enough good things about Carolina Conceptions. From the beginning, the entire team made what can be an overwhelming and emotional journey feel supportive, personalized, and hopeful. The nursing staff are truly outstanding—attentive, compassionate, and always quick to respond with answers and encouragement. You can tell they genuinely care about you. The doctors are first-rate—knowledgeable, thoughtful, and highly skilled. They take time to explain every step of treatment and tailor the plan to your specific needs. I felt like more than just a number here. During one of the most important experiences of my life, Carolina Conceptions gave me comfort and strength. I am grateful to have been cared for by such capable and compassionate doctors.

I want others to know what we experienced as patients of Carolina Conceptions. In 2022 and 2023, we saw Dr. Bowling and had a good experience. We became pregnant twice, but both ended in miscarriage and a biochemical pregnancy. We took a year off and returned to Dr. Park. We trusted the new team but were shocked by their practices. In this cycle, 10 eggs matured and only 2 fertilized. They first tried to blame my husband, so we immediately had a DFI test, and his result was better than normal. After a second opinion at our current clinic, we believe the embryology team did not perform ICSI correctly and damaged the eggs in the process. We had 1 healthy embryo in our final cycle at CC, but it was discarded without our permission. Dr. Park's excuse was that it was a 3PN embryo and would result in miscarriage 100% of the time. That is false. A 3PN embryo may carry a higher miscarriage risk, but successful pregnancies have occurred. Dr. Park also told us that Omnitrope works only 20% of the time. If you research this, one of the first things you find is that this is not true. The final straw came when I told Dr. Park I was upset that Dr. Johnson, the provider covering while Dr. Park was on vacation, decided to destroy our embryo without involving us or even telling us afterward. I told Dr. Park that the embryologist had said it was a healthy embryo that was simply developing a little slowly. He threw the embryologist under the bus, saying they were only technicians who did not know what they were talking about. I would never return to an office that either uses inexperienced technicians to train on our embryos without our knowledge or has its embryologists conceal serious errors to protect it from legal action. This process is demanding and expensive enough without these things happening behind the scenes.

Wonderful, caring staff! Highly recommended.

The lack of communication is shocking. Between calling, leaving voicemails, never receiving a call back, and waiting a week for the doctor's response about results she requested, I no longer want to seek care at this clinic. If they have that many patients, they should not advertise that they are accepting new ones. I even went there in person and waited 10 minutes, but no one appeared at the front desk regardless of how many times I knocked.

I have never had a better experience at a doctor's office. Communication between staff and patients is excellent. I appreciate being able to send messages easily through the portal and receive prompt responses. The staff are kind, compassionate, and helpful. I would recommend Carolina Conceptions to anyone seeking fertility treatment.

I cannot say enough positive things about my experience at Carolina Conceptions in Wilmington. From the first day, I felt comfortable, reassured, supported, and genuinely cared for. Over 9 months, I attended dozens of appointments, and every visit with Sarah or Natalie was positive and productive. I always felt informed and encouraged to ask questions and never felt rushed. They formed a personal connection with me and remembered me and my situation at every appointment, which meant a great deal. I was not just another appointment; they truly cared. They understood my difficult work schedule and made every effort to accommodate me when I could attend. The process was sometimes frustrating and discouraging, but I never felt alone. I knew I was receiving excellent care. I am now three months pregnant :) I highly recommend this practice to anyone struggling to conceive.

I had a wonderful experience at Carolina Conceptions. I am extremely grateful to the doctors and nurses for helping me overcome every challenge I encountered while trying to conceive. I now have 3 beautiful miracle babies, all conceived at CC. Dr. Park and Dr. Bowling were very professional and listened to every question I asked. I could not have asked for better care. I highly recommend this location to everyone!

Sarah and the Carolina Conceptions team are one of a kind! My infertility journey was far from straightforward, but at every step I felt supported and included in decisions, which is not always the case. I am currently pregnant thanks to Sarah and Dr. Meyer. When I “graduated” from CC and transferred to my regular OB, I cried at the thought of leaving a team that played such an important role in growing my family.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about this office, from the doctors and nurses to the office staff. Throughout my experience, I felt supported by a true family. If you are on an infertility journey and want the perfect trustworthy clinic, this is it. I immediately received updates on every result and prompt responses to every concern. We “graduated” from the clinic today. I am delighted to finally be pregnant, but sad to leave them.

It was a long road, but Carolina Conceptions' dedication and compassion made it more bearable and gave us hope. Our third transfer finally worked, and we are now expecting twins! I could not ask for more capable or compassionate providers than Dr. Park and nurse practitioners Natalie and Sarah at CC East. Dr. Park has witnessed my entire journey to motherhood, from the uncertain early stages of IVF through multiple pregnancies. He has consistently shown that I can trust him completely. He is knowledgeable, steady, kind, and helpful. Natalie and Sarah are also wonderful. I had complications early in pregnancy and am grateful they were available. They genuinely care about their patients and were there when I truly needed them.
