Unfortunately, my experience with this clinic was disappointing. This was not because of the doctor, who is highly skilled, but because of the coordinator responsible for French patients. Communication was seriously lacking. I usually had to follow up four or five times to receive a response, and sometimes there was no reply for more than 15 days even when I sent messages every day. These delays also affected the search for a donor and significantly slowed the progress of the program. I understand that the coordinator may be very busy, but timely and effective communication is essential for such an important undertaking. We need to arrange leave, book travel, and make plans in advance. Without any response or information about the next steps, it is impossible to plan with confidence. This is truly unfortunate because the doctor is highly skilled. Sadly, due to the lack of follow-up and timely responses, I had to choose another clinic to continue my program. The coordinator there responds the same day or, at the latest, the following day. I sincerely hope this can be improved, as it is damaging the clinic's reputation.

My husband Karl and I flew from the United Kingdom to North Cyprus for in vitro fertilization (IVF) using donor eggs. From beginning to end, we received five-star service. We had been somewhat hesitant about having IVF abroad because of a possible language barrier with clinic staff and coordinators. However, this was not an issue. On our first day of consultation, we met Fatma and quickly learned that she had been born and raised in the United Kingdom but now lived in Cyprus. Fatma is an outstanding member of the team, both professionally and personally. Another concern was the taxi service provided by the coordinator. We mistakenly thought we were paying for the same driver to transport us between the airport, hotel, and clinic. We worried about managing all the arrangements if the driver was absent. Their taxi service is only for the clinic, but the drivers were punctual and efficient, and we definitely recommend using it. We paid the clinic coordinator, who arranged the taxi service again—five stars. Overall, we highly recommend this clinic. After meeting Fatma, all our worries and concerns disappeared. I am deeply grateful to her and think very highly of her. I had read a negative review saying a patient felt like livestock and had a poor experience, which made me uncomfortable. Our experience was nothing like that. From reception to the doctor performing the procedure, all staff were friendly and professional. They have more than 30 years of experience, so you can feel confident in their care.

My donor-egg son is now 4.5 years old, and we thank the wonderful staff at Crown IVF every day! I still cannot believe how smoothly everything went, from our initial conversation at the Leeds fertility center to our winter holiday in the beautiful old city of Famagusta before lockdown. The staff were excellent, especially our lovely patient liaison from Bromley, who kept us updated on fertilization throughout the week and even advised us where to eat. I have recommended Crown many times. One friend I referred had twins after her first attempt with her own eggs. I still feel guilty for giving her double trouble! The total cost—including all medication and a one-week beach holiday for three—was far less than the price of a 10-year-old SEAT Leon. I am skeptical of some of the one-star reviews posted here. Our experience was truly wonderful.

I had a wonderful experience at this IVF clinic. From the moment I entered, the staff made me feel comfortable and cared for. They took the time to explain every step of the process and answered all my questions with patience and kindness. Thanks to their expertise and support, I am now pregnant and my dream of becoming a parent has finally come true. We absolutely do not recommend this clinic for treatment using your own eggs. The doctor was unable to perform a proper ultrasound, which is crucial. There was no personal attention, and communication during the procedure was quite insensitive. The staff were very friendly, but friendliness should not be confused with personal attention, professionalism, or expertise. For the price you pay, this is not good enough. It is better to seek treatment using your own eggs in Western Europe. They sold us a treatment plan using our own eggs, but because of the poor ultrasound, they seemed interested only in selling us donor eggs. When we declined, they reacted with frustration rather than understanding and support. We sought a second opinion at a clinic in another town, where they found that my eggs were an appropriate size. In short, we wasted time and money. We are very disappointed.

Terrible experience! Unprofessional, insensitive, and rude! My husband and I went there for our first ultrasound. This is our first baby, so we were excited. We arrived on time, but the doctor was an hour late! When they brought us in, the doctor did not speak with me beforehand to learn who I was, ask any questions, or give me an opportunity to ask questions. We went directly into the ultrasound. The doctor and two other staff members were present, which felt strange and too crowded for my comfort. This is a private matter. They did not speak to us or explain what they were doing. They talked among themselves and gave us only a sentence or two of information in between. Without any explanation, the doctor simply told me, “I can't find your baby!” Okay—what does that mean?!!! They said we needed to do a transvaginal ultrasound. I did not know what that was, and it was painful. An explanation beforehand would have helped! The doctor again said, “Your baby is missing” and “Miscarriage!!!” Then he said we should test my thyroid. If he had asked me earlier, I would have told him I was taking levothyroxine, but he did not! Then they all left the room!!! We went outside and sat in the hall with no idea what had just happened, what to do next, or whether we still had a baby!!! A few minutes later, after calming myself through tears, I went to speak with the doctor, who was already treating another patient. I asked whether I had lost the baby. He said, “No, we don't know yet. Come back next week!” They may see many pregnant women and babies every day, but I do not care! This is my baby, and I want a doctor who cares and takes the time to explain—not someone who only cares about money.

Our IVF journey went more smoothly thanks to our doctor's expertise and warm care. The Crown IVF team supported us throughout the process, and now we have a healthy baby. We are grateful that they made our dream come true.
