I had the absolute best experience today with everyone at Summa Cardiology and Dr. Hornick! I received a callback immediately and excellent care from the medical assistant and registered nurse. Dr. Hornick was kind, knowledgeable, and compassionate. He listened carefully to my concerns and truly put me at ease. 10/10 recommend!

I was discharged by the cardiologist after a series of tests. I was told they had no recommendations and could not help me. Months later, another specialist reviewed their notes and found that Summa had failed to mention a suspected diagnosis. Had I been told, I could have avoided a great deal of suffering.

Dr. Spear answers any and all questions and is so patient. You know that he cares deeply for his patients and he explains matters in clear concise terms. I never feel like he’s rushing to the next patient.

My second kidney stone surgery nearly killed me; by God's grace I survived. While removing the stone, the doctor accidentally cut the corner of my kidney and tore the entire kidney. Healing took months, and nobody called to check on me. Dr. R even arranged a home nurse to keep the wound open so it could heal from the inside out.

I have been a patient at Spear for many years. They always answer my many questions patiently, which I appreciate. The assistant who performed my bladder ultrasound was very professional/helpful. The front desk staff were very helpful with scheduling and validated my parking.
