I had the absolute best experience today with everyone at Summa Cardiology and Dr. Hornick! I received a callback immediately and excellent care from the medical assistant and registered nurse. Dr. Hornick was kind, knowledgeable, and compassionate. He listened carefully to my concerns and truly put me at ease. 10/10 recommend!

I was discharged by the cardiologist after a series of tests. I was told they had no recommendations and could not help me. Months later, another specialist reviewed their notes and found that Summa had failed to mention a suspected diagnosis. Had I been told, I could have avoided a great deal of suffering.

I appreciate your medical expertise and exceptional skill, as well as your genuine care for those supporting us through recovery. Thank you, Kyle, Doug, Ben, Dylan, Tristan, the Lizzes, Kim, Connor, David, the Jennifers, Julie, Alexandra, Kristin, and the Lizzes. I appreciate every one of you for taking such wonderful care of me, my children, grandchildren, and family. I witnessed how God sends messengers to comfort our hearts and restore our health; you are all instruments of God.

Dr. Spear answers any and all questions and is so patient. You know that he cares deeply for his patients and he explains matters in clear concise terms. I never feel like he’s rushing to the next patient.

Dr. Spear was very professional and made me feel that he genuinely cared. He explained my condition in easy-to-understand language, prescribed medication, and scheduled a follow-up. It was an excellent visit.

My second kidney stone surgery nearly killed me; by God's grace I survived. While removing the stone, the doctor accidentally cut the corner of my kidney and tore the entire kidney. Healing took months, and nobody called to check on me. Dr. R even arranged a home nurse to keep the wound open so it could heal from the inside out.

I have been a patient at Spear for many years. They always answer my many questions patiently, which I appreciate. The assistant who performed my bladder ultrasound was very professional/helpful. The front desk staff were very helpful with scheduling and validated my parking.
