I had a wonderful experience at NYC IVF. From the first appointment, I found the staff caring, organized, highly professional, and experienced. Dr. Elassar always shared her expertise in a way that made me feel comfortable with the journey. I had complete confidence in her and the plan she created for me. Nurse Tamar, as well as the lovely medical assistants, front desk manager, and financial/insurance specialist, also deserve recognition. I truly cannot say enough good things about the staff. Everything was conveniently available on-site. This was the first and only clinic I visited, and I am grateful that everything went so smoothly.

A friend referred me to NYC IVF after I had a terrible experience at a previous clinic. I also researched the leading IVF doctors in New York City, and Dr. Elassar was near the top of my list. NYC IVF is a small boutique clinic where everyone, from the administrative staff and nurses to Dr. Elassar herself, knows your name. I chose this clinic for a more personalized and tailored experience, and it was everything we hoped for. My appointments were always on time, and all my questions were answered promptly. They were also highly supportive, and I felt that the entire team was invested in my success. This was very important to me and, I believe, contributed to my successful IVF experience. The clinic provides in-house services, including an operating room for egg retrievals and transfers and very convenient acupressure services. If you are seeking personalized success with an incredibly supportive team, I highly recommend NYC IVF! Thank you, Dr. Elassar and team :)

I just completed two egg-freezing cycles at NYC IVF, and honestly, I could not be more grateful—especially at age 39, nearly 40. I arrived knowing nothing and full of fear and doubt, but after a close friend's recommendation, I decided to proceed, and I am so glad I did.
The clinic is never crowded, is always spotless, and is located right on Fifth Avenue. Everyone on the team knows your name, and you feel cared for rather than like an anonymous patient. Dr. Elassar personally performs all scans and examinations. During my retrievals, I felt exceptionally well cared for, and the entire team—thank you, Tamar, Annie, Needa, Isabelle, Maeve, and everyone else—made these major moments surprisingly easy.
Despite my age, my mature egg rate was 90% in the first cycle and 100% in the second, which I still find hard to believe. Their attention to detail and professionalism made all the difference. I now feel reassured and confident about my future options.
I sincerely recommend NYC IVF to anyone considering egg freezing. They helped turn my fear into strength.
Thank you again!

I have been with Dr. Elassar's practice for several years, and everyone is wonderful, responsive, and flexible. Tamar was tremendously helpful throughout the process, especially because I am an international patient. I am very satisfied with this clinic!
Initial review: I have only just begun treatment at this clinic, but so far they have been responsive and highly professional. Dr. Elassar answered all my questions and was quite flexible in arranging tests because I live abroad. Alejandra Castillo at reception was also warm, friendly, and easy to reach.

I just completed my first egg-freezing cycle at NYC IVF and obtained an unprecedented 15 mature eggs at age 42. After five years of being unable to conceive with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), I decided it was time to see Dr. Elassar (DR ELASSAR), and I had an excellent experience at New York IVF. The IVF process can involve complex emotions, but working with Dr. Elassar, Tamar, and the entire care team truly made me feel at ease.
This clinic feels more boutique than large institutions such as NYU or Cornell. They are personable, calm, compassionate, and highly organized throughout the process. We followed the schedule precisely, and thanks to their accuracy and expertise, I had an unexpectedly high number of eggs retrieved. I fully trust this team to care for my embryos.
I chose surrogacy to build my family. Once I found a surrogate, the clinic approved her in less than a week, greatly accelerating our embryo-transfer timeline. The transfer went very smoothly and was successful!
What impressed me most was their ability to stay on top of everything. They reviewed scans and bloodwork the same day and provided clear, actionable next steps. They also replied quickly to emails, which is crucial in the time-sensitive surrogacy process because every day can affect scheduling.
This team works diligently and is committed to helping patients achieve the outcomes they deeply want. I highly recommend them.

If you are undergoing IVF and want more personalized care, I highly recommend NYC IVF. The clinic is not large, but it is friendly and welcoming, and I appreciated seeing the same care team every time. It was the first and only clinic my husband and I visited because of the positive online reviews. I was initially concerned because I am very skeptical of doctors, but I am glad we took the chance and did not go elsewhere. Dr. Elassar is knowledgeable and caring. The entire team—Ms. Tamar, Annie, Kim, Needa, and everyone else—is wonderful. I love them all.
Appointments are always on time. They consistently answer questions by email or phone, and billing/payment expectations are straightforward. Thanks to NYC IVF, I am now more than 13 weeks pregnant. If I undergo another cycle, I will definitely return.

I worked with Dr. Elassar for about five years. I froze my eggs with her when I was 35, almost 36. A few years later, at 38, I created embryos, and at 40 I decided to transfer my only beautiful embryo. I was very frightened and deeply in debt, but they were always patient with me. Tamar was consistently helpful and tried to reassure me. Dr. Elassar loves her work and is always professional. I want to thank the entire team because I was surely their most difficult and indecisive patient, haha. I was anxious and afraid for years, but finally chose a natural-cycle transfer. I am now 14 weeks pregnant, the baby is growing healthily, and the pregnancy is going smoothly. I can only thank everyone for their patience and dedication. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Soon I will visit you with my growing belly. ❤️

I cannot say enough good things about New York City IVF. Through multiple treatment cycles, I consistently felt fully supported and cared for. Dr. Alyaa Elassar is exceptional. In addition to her clinical expertise, she is warm and approachable, making a challenging treatment process much easier. She developed a personalized plan that kept me confident and informed at every step.
The entire team is wonderful. Tamar, Annie, Victoria, Maeve, Needa, Rhea, and Elena were always welcoming, attentive, and encouraging. Abdel and Kim were also outstanding in scheduling appointments and handling insurance, making potentially stressful matters feel effortless.
One thing I particularly value is the clinic's respect for patients' time. Fertility treatment requires frequent visits, but I was never kept waiting for long. Their schedule is efficient without ever making patients feel rushed.

My experience at NYC IVF was outstanding. The entire team is warm, friendly, and knowledgeable. After your first appointment, they remember you and do not even need to ask your name when you enter. I had terrible consultations at several larger egg-freezing practices, but NYC IVF was completely different. At the first consultation, Dr. Elassar sits with you, explains the entire process in detail, and answers every question. You then meet with billing to review out-of-pocket costs. They also schedule hands-on medication instruction, whose importance may not be clear until your first injection. Other practices only send videos, but NYC IVF brings you in and guides you step by step while allowing you to record the demonstration and ask questions. The experience deserves a perfect score. I have recommended NYC IVF to every friend considering egg freezing or needing a fertility specialist. Thank you, NYC IVF!

I froze my eggs at New York City IVF (NYCIVF) and was very pleased with the team. I had greatly underestimated how involved the process would be, but they guided me through it step by step and helped me adjust. I also have small veins that phlebotomists often struggle to find, so I worried about the frequent blood tests. Nurse Tamar was excellent—skilled, gentle, and thoughtful—and made blood draws easy. Dr. Elassar was equally excellent and approachable, and the whole team was wonderful. New York IVF is the only fertility clinic I have used, and I feel incredibly fortunate to have found them. Like most people, my fertility journey was filled with stress, anxiety, and regret that I had not started sooner.
But everyone here—Dr. Elassar, Dr. Jeff, Ms. Tamar, Ms. Annie, Ms. Elena, Ms. Isabelle, Ms. Victoria, Ms. Needa, Ms. Kimberlyn, and Mr. Abdel—was kind, thoughtful, and genuinely supportive. They always ensured I felt comfortable and informed at every stage. Everyone remembered my name and made me feel like family.
Dr. Elassar personally attended every appointment and treatment, and I could truly feel how much she cared. I loved that she called me “my dear,” and now I wish every doctor I meet could be like her.
The medical team explained my medications and treatment plan clearly and patiently, ensuring I always knew what to do. They encouraged me at every step.
Dr. Jeff had seen me only once in the operating room, yet remembered my name in the elevator, which touched me greatly. Of course, he also took excellent care of my embryos.
Scheduling was always smooth and flexible, which I greatly appreciated, especially after hearing that other clinics are not always so accommodating.
The finance team patiently explained every billing and insurance detail. Numbers are not my strength, so I was very grateful for their help.
Overall, I felt exceptionally well cared for. I only wish they also provided routine obstetric care!
I will definitely return for my second child.
They deserve more than five stars!

My experience at NYC IVF was excellent. My husband and I chose IVF to preserve our fertility so we would have more time to consider starting a family. From the initial consultation through regular follow-ups, Dr. Elasser was personally involved throughout and performed the procedure herself. This created a meaningful sense of reassurance and trust. The team always communicated promptly, and I began my next cycle soon after the initial consultation. They were also very transparent about costs and guided us through the insurance process, which was reassuring and greatly reduced our burden. Compared with larger clinics, I felt I received more frequent and personalized follow-up here. They took my questions, concerns, and any discomfort or pain after retrieval seriously. I completed the entire cycle shortly before turning 36, achieved an excellent result for my age, and did not need a second cycle. It is clear that this clinic focuses on high-quality outcomes and tailors each patient's stimulation-medication protocol rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach. IVF is mentally, physically, and emotionally demanding, but I felt genuinely cared for by the entire team throughout. I would absolutely recommend NYC IVF to anyone considering fertility preservation.

From my first visit, they treated me with great care, patience, and understanding. The pain of infertility is hard to describe, but they consistently gave me support and hope.
Dr. Elassar is highly knowledgeable and genuinely cares for her patients. She carefully explained every step and guided me throughout treatment. Thanks to her expertise and the dedication of the entire team, I finally became pregnant through intrauterine insemination (IUI).
I will always be grateful for the care and compassion they showed during such an important time in my life. I highly recommend Dr. Elassar and the NYC IVF team to anyone experiencing infertility. They truly change lives.

Dr. Elassar and her team at NYC IVF are the best. I cannot thank them enough. The team is wonderful—responsive, compassionate, and professional. During the initial consultation, we discussed everything in detail, including medical and financial matters. All my questions were answered within 10 minutes, including on weekends and after hours. They supported me throughout the process and demonstrated the injections to me twice in person. When ovarian stimulation began, Tamar gave me a very clear calendar listing my injection doses, upcoming appointments, and possible egg retrieval date. On retrieval day, Dr. Elassar held my hand throughout. That meant so much to me. The anesthesiologist was efficient. My condition was not simple because I have endometriosis, but Dr. Elassar developed a specific stimulation protocol that helped me produce many eggs. We achieved a 100% fertilization rate, obtained many embryos for biopsy, and most were normal. Tamar and the embryologist gave me daily updates. Finally, Dr. Elassar prepared my uterus very carefully, and yes—I became pregnant after my first embryo transfer. The entire process was seamless. I wish I could stay at NYC IVF until delivery. I will miss this excellent team, but I have more embryos and can return. The clinic is also very clean and modern, centrally located in Midtown Manhattan in an elegant building. Words cannot express my love and gratitude for them. I highly recommend Dr. Elassar and NYC IVF.

I am very glad I chose this clinic after reading many reviews.
My case is complex and not easy. I also tried several other clinics, but none offered personalized treatment, leaving me uncertain.
Because of my diminished ovarian reserve, I need to be proactive about family planning.
Dr. Elassar and her team were excellent. I left the clinic with a clear plan, including the financial aspects. At the first visit, the doctor discussed every issue in detail, and I left hopeful that I could soon realize my dream.
Facing fertility problems has not been easy, especially since I am under 35 and never imagined I would need help. I am glad my husband and I made the right decision. After seeking opinions from several leading clinics, we agreed that we needed more personalized treatment, which NYCIVF could provide.
Dr. Elassar is highly knowledgeable. Thanks to Google AI, I was certainly well prepared with information about my expected AMH level and age. I also liked her “book,” which explained every detail of the fertility process.
I rarely write reviews, but because this is such an emotional process and I found hope, I wanted to share my experience…

My experience at NYCIVF was remarkable. The entire team's professionalism and genuine care made every visit positive. The center itself is immaculate, with spotless waiting, consultation, and procedure rooms—details that matter greatly in a medical setting.
I am deeply grateful to Dr. Elassar and the entire staff for their dedication and expertise. Thanks to them, my wife and I now have a miracle baby. Our dream truly came true, all within just a few months.
I highly recommend NYCIVF to any family hoping to grow. Best wishes to everyone, and heartfelt thanks to the excellent NYCIVF team.

Edit: The response to my negative review disclosed my medical records in violation of the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), which likely tells you everything you need to know about this doctor. After I reported her, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services confirmed the violation and said it would contact the practice to enforce federal law. Buyer beware.
Original review: This place is a complete scam, and I am disgusted by how they treat patients.
I came to this single-doctor practice for fertility screening. Dr. Elassar and her staff performed one ultrasound and one blood test, then strongly pressured me to begin fertility treatment immediately rather than wait for my employer insurance to begin the following year.
I found it strange to be pressured to pay out of pocket after only one scan, so I sought a second opinion. It turns out multiple tests are normally needed before frightening someone with claims of a low egg count and infertility. My new doctor performed several tests and found that my results were normal for a young woman, with no need to begin fertility treatment early.
I believe Dr. Elassar and her team are focused on money, which is clear from how they treat patients. Six months after my first and only visit, they sent me a $500 medical bill for procedures I do not remember and then automatically charged my credit card. Their lack of professional ethics, informed consent, and disclosure of hidden charges is unbelievable.
