Dr. O'Leary and her team are amazing! Dr. O'Leary has a very reassuring and calming presence and is highly skilled and knowledgeable. Highly recommended! Her nurse, Maggie, is very patient and explains everything clearly. The phlebotomists are also wonderful—these were the easiest blood draws I have ever had!

I have donated eggs twice, and every staff member I met was very kind. The only inconvenience was having to make frequent trips to the clinic, but I understand that this was necessary. Special thanks to Cheryl, who supported me both times and was incredibly helpful throughout the process. I also want to thank my pre-op nurse, Annie, who, along with the rest of the team, made the morning of the egg retrieval go very smoothly.

Thank you to Dr. Will for helping us build our family, and thank you to all the staff. I never thought this would become a reality. I highly recommend this clinic.

No one ever answers the phone. I have called 5 times over the past week.

My wife and I have been trying to conceive for the past five years without success. We tried various methods and treatments, but nothing worked. Although we live out of state, we decided to try Dr. Bopp. First, he was 20 minutes late to our FaceTime meeting and said nothing when he joined. He seemed disengaged, and we left the meeting feeling empty and confused. The entire situation did not feel right. Aside from asking how we would pay the consultation fee shortly afterward, no one from Midwest Fertility Specialists contacted us again. Not recommended.

Everyone, from the receptionist to the doctor, was wonderful and very caring. The best fertility specialists!

Words cannot express my gratitude to Dr. O'Leary and Midwest Fertility Specialists for the precious gift of my son. I came to Midwest after two and a half years of terrible fertility treatment at another clinic, and the difference was a huge relief. I ultimately became pregnant after three intrauterine insemination (IUI) attempts, and my son was born this January. I highly recommend Midwest! Special thanks to all the nurses and staff, especially nurses Jenny and Peg, who were wonderful. If you need a fertility clinic, Midwest is an excellent choice!

After a terrible experience at another fertility clinic, this clinic was a lifesaver. I cannot understand why it has anything less than five stars. Dr. Will is truly wonderful, and from the first consultation I knew this experience would be completely different. Communication from everyone at the clinic was essential—from the scheduler when I called to book my initial consultation, to Sherry, the embryo transport coordinator, to the phlebotomist who advised me of the wait time in advance, the ultrasound technician who explained what would happen next, and the nurses who called after every appointment, checked in, and returned messages and calls the same day. I only saw Dr. Will a few times during the transfer process, but I never doubted that he personally reviewed my lab results and scans and made the final decisions. This should be standard at every clinic, but unfortunately it is not. They made the process as low-stress and patient-centered as possible. This experience was completely different from my previous transfer, not only because it was successful, but because of everyone involved and the care they gave me. My growing family is all thanks to Midwest Fertility Center.

We came to Midwest Fertility Center uncertain whether we could conceive and were devastated to learn IVF was our only chance. Their well-designed process helped us quickly adjust to appointments, and they scheduled us promptly to begin IVF. They partnered with LendingClub, which was our only affordable option because my insurance did not cover IVF. The loan application was somewhat complicated, but they patiently explained every step, and we received the funds the next day to continue treatment. They were professional and monitored egg retrieval and embryo transfer carefully. The nurses were gentle and patient during visits and calls, especially when delivering bad news. We experienced every high and low there, from a failed first retrieval to a successful first transfer and pregnancy. They supported us throughout. Once learned, the app made communication easy, and they returned messages promptly during business hours. Dr. O'Leary is professional and approachable and never makes any question feel foolish. Five stars and highly recommended. We will choose them again for future transfers.

Midwest Center was a blessing that helped my husband and me achieve our dream of parenthood! Dr. Kate O'Leary was wonderful, guiding us throughout and adapting treatment to our circumstances. The staff showed great care and understanding during this special time. They patiently answered every question and supported me throughout. We completed 4 IUIs and 1 IVF cycle, and our first transfer resulted in pregnancy. We will definitely return to transfer our remaining embryos :)

After one blood test suggested premature ovarian failure, we saw a doctor. Without first checking hormone levels, they said we needed donor eggs and had less than a 1% chance of conceiving naturally. Two months later, I conceived naturally. What upset us most was the immediate recommendation for donor eggs without investigating the cause, especially after only one abnormal blood test. The $300 felt completely wasted, particularly because we had only one video consultation.

For an organization serving women at their most vulnerable, the office, nurses, and doctors were terrible. They expected me to understand medications and test results without explanation. Communication about positive or negative results from urgent appointments was extremely poor. They showed no empathy during my miscarriage and provided no follow-up afterward. I miscarried in May, and only when I called did they say I needed another test despite the miscarriage, even though I had already completed confirmatory bloodwork. I have heard nothing since about further care or any other arrangements, and it is now December. I am very disappointed and would not recommend this clinic.

My IVF journey went very smoothly. All the staff were cooperative, and my doctor, Dr. Will, was the driving force behind my miracle baby. Thank God I made the right decision. No one referred me; I chose Dr. Will based on online reviews. I feel very fortunate and highly recommend her.

I had an HCG test today, and it was much better than my experience at another clinic 9 years ago. Dr. Anterior and her team were welcoming, attentive, and patient. I am glad I chose her for my second round of fertility treatment. I highly recommend her and her team to anyone going through this stressful, emotional journey. They are wonderful!

Fertility treatment is extremely difficult emotionally, ethically, spiritually, and financially. I underwent IVF and ICSI at Midwest Fertility Center in Carmel and disliked most of the experience. The required app barely works, while finances, labs, medications, and documents are on separate unlinked sites. The office is hard and slow to reach, financial discussions are distressing, and costs are 2 to 3 times the quoted amounts. Remember this is a for-profit industry, and you will cry often. Yet I now have a beautiful son whom we could never have conceived without Midwest Fertility Center. Everyone there, from doctors and nurses to laboratory staff, seemed sincere and did their best to help us conceive. Much of my anger came from my circumstances, and the clinic did its best. For me it was worth it, though I would never do it again. The experience ranged from 1 to 5 stars. Be prepared. 😍

I cannot say enough good things about Midwest and the attentive care from Dr. O'Leary and her team. Of course, I am especially grateful for the successful outcome, but more importantly, my gratitude comes from the genuine trust I had in the team's leadership throughout treatment. I had tried the usual 'eat this, drink that' approaches before, but this time I fully trusted the team's guidance and let my body do the rest. Although medications, appointments, and waiting can feel overwhelming, I ultimately felt informed, empowered, and more knowledgeable about both the science and my own body. Thank you to Dr. O'Leary and to every nurse and front-desk team member for the smiles, hugs, encouragement, and unwavering confidence. I will always be grateful!

Apart from scheduling the first appointment, trying to reach someone at the office is extremely difficult and frustrating. They are closed on weekends and close at 11 a.m. on Fridays. Our first lab test was infectious disease bloodwork. They failed to bill my wife's insurance, so she received a bill for more than $1,000. I had to call the lab and get their mistake corrected. Midwest Fertility never answers the phone, while the independent lab answered on the first call. I feel Midwest Fertility is too busy and proceeds without ensuring everything is in order. I was not given the option to use another lab or told the cost, and I feel sorry for anyone paying out of pocket. My bloodwork was covered by insurance. Today I called to have my other test results sent to me. I paid for and mailed the test two weeks ago. The lab said it had sent the results to the doctor's office and that I needed to contact them for release. I need the results so I can schedule another urologist appointment. The point is that appointments are easy to make, but communication throughout the process is difficult. The only discount I found was 10% for active-duty military personnel. They do not offer discounted packages. They work with Lending Club for financing. My advice is to question everything and do not rush. I found many discount coupons for uninsured patients on provider websites. I hope Midwest Fertility fixes its communication problems, perhaps with a ticketing system or responses within 24 hours. At this point, I am very concerned about continuing IVF with them. My first impression is poor communication and a terrible billing department. I would gladly update my review if I see improvement. So far, my opinion of Dr. Matthew Will is very positive. I have high expectations for his work and have read many favorable reviews. Based on my brief experience with him, I trust his decisions. I will not hold the office's communication and billing problems against him.

We have been going to Midwest for 5 years. Dr. Will is truly an amazing person. He is very kind and genuinely cares about our concerns. The staff is wonderful too. You can tell they are passionate about their work and do everything they can to help you succeed. Dr. Will tried many approaches, from minimally invasive surgery to IVF, to help us conceive. We now have a healthy 2-year-old. Dr. Will and the staff went through this journey with us and now feel like family. Infertility is a difficult journey with many ups and downs, but Midwest made us feel that having a child was possible. Words cannot express how grateful we are for our precious daughter and for their help in creating our family.

Terrible experience

If you are looking for the best IVF practice, Dr. Matthew Will, Dr. Kate O’Leary, and their outstanding team at Midwest Fertility are the clear choice. They genuinely care about you and your family's fertility journey and are true partners throughout the process. Although we had other options in Louisville, we traveled more than two hours to see them because we knew they were the best. Taking our child to meet the people who made it all possible was such a gift!

I had an absolutely wonderful experience from start to finish. When I think back on my journey with Midwest Fertility, the words that come to mind are thoughtful, attentive, and caring. The entire process was handled with compassion and professionalism. I felt genuine care and support from everyone. 10/10—I highly recommend Midwest Fertility to anyone preparing to begin this journey.

I first had a consultation here in early 2023 to begin my journey. I simply met with a doctor and spoke with him for about 20 minutes, paid, and left. In 2025, I contacted them again to have my partner tested. The woman at the front desk only told me over the phone to come with him at the scheduled time. That was all. We waited two weeks, arrived early, dropped off our child, and paid $147. While we waited in the lobby, with someone ahead of us, several female staff members hovered around us as if they did not care who we were. The front desk woman had a terrible attitude. I wanted to say forget it and walk away with my hard-earned money, but I paid. She said the results would be ready in 3-5 days. That was 6/24/25, and it is now 7/8/25 with no call or results. When I called, they only tried to get me to have more tests that had never been mentioned before so they could take more money from me. I even feel they may never have performed the test. I called my bank and disputed the charge. You cannot treat me and still keep my money. I will never go back!!!!

We worked with Dr. O'Leary and nurses Kris and Rachael and highly recommend them. We are now 19 weeks pregnant with our miracle baby girl! Although the IVF journey was difficult, everyone we worked with at Midwest Fertility Center was very kind and compassionate. If you are struggling with infertility, there is no better team!

I had great experiences at both offices, Fort Wayne and Carmel. During such a sensitive process, it was wonderful to have an excellent team supporting me. They were there at every step. Thank you, MFS!

I called this clinic as a new patient to ask about fertility services, but the staff was unprofessional and dismissive. When I asked a simple clarifying question, the person I spoke with did not offer guidance and instead responded rudely and condescendingly, leaving me feeling disrespected. Patients should be treated with kindness and professionalism, especially when making important medical decisions and undergoing such personal treatment. I believe I spoke with Emily or someone in her department around noon on February 6. The experience made me feel very uncomfortable and afraid to reach out again. Patients should never be made to feel belittled or disrespected. Very disappointing.
