I am disgusted and shocked by this office's lack of patient care. I planned to use the clinic for outside monitoring and confirmed the appointment with them several times. When I arrived, no doctor was available to perform the laboratory work or testing. Apparently, only the medical director, who decided to leave town on Friday and Monday, could oversee the lab. Another doctor was present, but his only response was, “I am a doctor; do not raise your voice at me,” while being unable to arrange the lab tests. I will file a complaint with the medical board. This is completely unacceptable. In IVF, timing is everything. This was unethical conduct by every doctor involved.

The Cooper Institute provides excellent medical care! Dr. Chuong and his team are highly professional and experienced. Dr. Chuong provides the best care and always tries to help patients save money. Dr. Chuong is very warm and makes you feel safely cared for. We had a complicated start to the pregnancy, and his expertise saved us. God sent him to us. Through weekly examinations, he thoroughly diagnosed and closely monitored my wife's health. His team are very friendly, efficient, and helpful with everything. We are extremely grateful to Dr. Chuong and his staff for being so attentive and supporting us from beginning to end. We highly recommend him.

I chose this office because it was on my insurance's preferred list. I called, and the person who answered gave her own name rather than the office name. First red flag. After I explained, she asked what I needed. Then she said that before scheduling, I had to send copies of my driver's license and insurance card to the number I had called. Note that she never asked for my name or any other information before requesting my identification and insurance details. Second red flag. Never in my life have I called a doctor's office and been told to text my license and insurance card before—or even after—scheduling an appointment. I double-checked the number I had called, and it was correct. It was simply very strange.

My experience was wonderful, and I could not have found a better doctor than Dr. C James Chuong and his excellent team. You are the best, and I am so glad we found you. Dr. Chuong and his team were extremely helpful throughout my IVF treatment. He was responsible and attentive to his patients. He even scheduled weekend blood tests to monitor my follicle development. The clinic also tries to help patients reduce costs. They helped me find the most affordable ovarian stimulation medication and embryo testing options instead of pushing expensive products. All the nurses were kind and considerate. Thank you to Jennifer, Shah, and Rolanda for everything you did for me. My embryos had a very high survival rate, which I believe reflects the entire team's experience and attentive care. I am sincerely grateful to them.

After an unpleasant treatment experience at another well-known IVF clinic in Houston, I looked elsewhere and am so glad I found Dr. Chung and his excellent team. From my first visit, the difference was clear. I never felt like just another patient. Jennifer and Rolana welcomed me personally and remained involved in my care, making the process more humane and reassuring. Dr. Chung patiently answered every question, ensured I understood all options, and never pressured me. I deeply appreciated his thorough, patient approach. The nurses communicated exceptionally well, responded quickly, and made sure I understood all medication and injection instructions. They also helped me understand my insurance and find the most affordable options. Every visit felt supportive and genuine. The team regularly checked on me, and Dr. Chung always remembered details from previous visits, which meant a great deal. With their guidance and by carefully following their instructions, our first transfer resulted in pregnancy. I am incredibly grateful to Dr. Chung, Jennifer, and Rolana—they are angels. I highly recommend them to anyone seeking a caring, thorough IVF team that is genuinely invested in their journey.

There are not enough words in the English language to express our gratitude to Dr. Chuong and his staff. For over 2 years, they worked with us with kindness, grace and expertise. Dr. Chuong never lost hope, always explained all my options and ensured I was seen whenever necessary. His office was the first phone call I made after learning of my pregnancy. They saw me the same day and confirmed my pregnancy immediately. I am so grateful to have found Dr. Chuong and his staff. To his staff: Rolana, Jennifer and Shah - I have some much love in my heart for these wonderful ladies. They answered all my questions (there were many), greeted me at every visit with a smile and grace (even when I felt like I was losing hope) and shared in our happiness when I got pregnant. They were so invested in our story and always ensured I received the care I needed. I cannot recommend Dr. Chuong and his staff enough. They were truly a godsend when we didn't know where else to go. After almost 4 years of trying, thanks to Dr. Chuong, we are expecting our first child. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you!

Be very careful if you need to transfer tissue to another clinic. We had to take time off work and go to the office to coordinate the transfer in person because for more than 3 months they refused to respond to emails or calls. His office did not clearly communicate the transfer requirements and even charged a ‘preparation fee’ that is not industry standard. Ultimately, we wanted to tell Dr. Chuong that his office's conduct was unethical and a lawsuit waiting to happen, but he refused to speak with us. As a physician, he swore to do no harm, yet actively tried to delay our family planning.

My wife and I were new to infertility care and were fortunate to find Dr. Chuong. He truly cares about your health and well-being and does not pressure you into anything. Twice, his exceptional caution and additional tests that other clinics might not have ordered protected us from possible harm. The tests showed that proceeding directly with IVF or even waiting longer would have harmed my wife's body. I would definitely recommend him and his clinic.
