Dr. Sunita Kulshrestha (Dr. K) is a board-certified reproductive endocrinology and infertility specialist. Over the past 25 years, she has helped thousands of patients achieve their dream of parenthood in Northern Virginia and the Washington, DC metro area.

Dr. Kulshrestha graduated with honors and a bachelors degree in molecular biology from The Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). She then pursued her medical degree at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine, where she graduated at the top of her class as a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha honor society. After finishing her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of Virginia, Dr. Kulshrestha completed a three year fellowship in reproductive endocrinology and infertility at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine in Philadelphia.
Dr. Kulshrestha graduated with honors from The Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) with a bachelor's degree in molecular biology. After completing her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of Virginia, Dr. Kulshrestha completed a three-year fellowship in reproductive endocrinology and infertility at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine in Philadelphia.

Dr. Kulshrestha utilizes her extensive clinical experience and unique science background to individualize patient care and optimize patients’ pregnancy and live birth rates. She enjoys close personal interactions with her patients. She is excited to be a part of the Washington Fertility team and be able to best address a patient’s medical, emotional and financial needs. Dr. Kulshrestha is passionate about helping to build families. She recognizes the importance of a smooth fertility journey and the joy of parenthood and wishes to share this with her patients.

Dr. K’s interests include ovulation induction, intrauterine insemination (IUI), In-Vitro-Fertilization (IVF), pre-implantation genetic testing (PGT), egg freezing, use of donor egg, use of donor sperm and gestational surrogacy.
Dr. Kulshrestha provides comprehensive fertility care using the latest advances in science and technology. Her areas of interest include ovulation induction, intrauterine insemination (IUI), in vitro fertilization (IVF), preimplantation genetic testing (PGT), egg freezing, donor eggs, donor sperm, and gestational surrogacy.
