Dr. Mehta is the medical director of Kindbody Dallas. She is dual board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology and reproductive endocrinology and infertility. After graduating with honors from the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston, she remained there for her OB/GYN residency. She then completed her reproductive endocrinology and infertility fellowship at the renowned University of California, San Diego, where her research focused on PCOS. She has been in private practice helping build families since 2006. Providing compassionate, personalized, evidence-based, patient-centered care is very important to her. For several consecutive years, her peers have named her one of the best doctors in Collin County and Dallas. Her areas of expertise include general infertility, in vitro fertilization, fertility preservation, oocyte cryopreservation, diminished ovarian reserve, hysteroscopic surgery, and PCOS. Update: Kindbody finally issued the refund, and it was returned to our bank account. It took a negative Google review and public statements on Twitter (X) for them to finally take me seriously. I am glad to have the money back, but it should never have reached this point. Please treat customers better in the future. I remain furious that Kindbody is withholding a refund of nearly $10,000 for unused services. My partner and I began the egg-freezing process in June, but after some preliminary tests, we ultimately decided not to proceed with the actual retrieval. This was a very emotional decision, but we felt trying naturally was our best path. On July 31, 2024, we requested cancellation of the service. Kindbody has held our funds for nearly 6 months. I have emailed and called repeatedly, and they continually tell me they will escalate my request to senior management. This is completely unprofessional and absurd. They owe me nearly $10,000 and have held it for almost 6 months! This is not a small amount, and I am extremely angry that they have failed to consider and resolve the issue. Do not work with Kindbody. They still have my money.

The staff were very kind and helpful throughout my IVF treatment. I am happy to report a healthy baby from the first transfer. :) After discovering that I had a cyst, they went above and beyond to bring me in, remove it, and keep my transfer schedule on track. From beginning to end, I started egg retrieval in November 2023 and learned I was pregnant in February 2024.

Every time you call, people answer as though it is their first day working there. I had an issue where the front desk told me my insurance covered a service, and then I received a large bill. I have seen positive reviews, but the office is disorganized, and the staff seem unaware of what is happening.

I chose KindBody for my egg retrieval. Their work and interaction with patients are wonderful. They respond quickly through the online portal and provide tutorial videos for things that can feel intimidating, such as giving yourself an injection for the first time. You need to visit the laboratory every other day, and the nurses and sonographers are very friendly and always cheerful. The facility is also decorated beautifully :) The retrieval itself was easy, thanks to Dr. Mehta, who stopped to speak with me before I went under, which I appreciated. The process was essentially painless, and every question I asked received a prompt answer. Thank you, KindBody Austin team!

Where do I begin! Kindbody has treated me so well! Truly, by the grace of God, my husband and I found his employer benefits, which was a blessing in itself. When I had my virtual appointment with Dr. Mehta, I felt heard in every way. I was glad to speak with her about my recent experiences at doctors' offices. This journey is beautiful and stressful at the same time. The staff spoke with me about my feelings and questions, and I cannot fully express my gratitude! A shout-out to Morgan, Megan, Alex, and Kaitlyn. What an incredible support system. They even took time to answer my questions while off work! Wonderful! Alycia also handled scheduling for the entire team! I felt cared for and thought of by everyone I encountered, especially driving from San Antonio to Austin. I am more grateful than I can describe, and I know my babies were well cared for while they were baking, lol. 10/10 service 🫶🏾🫶🏾🫶🏾😌 Update: After 1 amazing cycle, we had a successful FET! I wish I could give Kindbody ATX 100/100. I am so grateful and happy that I was able to become pregnant with this amazing group of women! We are thrilled to have had such an incredible experience and cannot wait to share more with them.

Awful experience to freeze my eggs. Doctor was 45 minutes late to my virtual appointment, they overcharged me twice. Customer service and portal is difficult to use. They haven’t reached back out to me to correct the error but continue to send me a docusign a year later to freeze my eggs with them. Wouldn’t recommend, absolutely terrible.

This was the best blood draw I have ever had, and I say that as an adult woman who faints easily. Every staff member was kind and warm, the setting was beautiful and comfortable, and the juice box was helpful.

Kindbody does not process refunds. We have followed up for more than 6 months, and texts and calls have been useless. We are always told that the accounting team will review the matter and respond. No one follows up, and they continue to hold our money.

I had a wonderful experience at Kindbody Austin and Kindbody LA. Six years ago, I began my journey in Los Angeles with an egg retrieval cycle. We moved to Austin last year and began our IVF cycle. Dr. D, who is no longer there, was excellent, and all the nurses and team members were helpful and knowledgeable. We became pregnant on our first attempt, and I delivered my baby girl in March. We will return in a year and a half to try for a second child.

I visited 4 different clinics and did everything I was supposed to do, including calling to make sure they were in my insurance network. Every one of them said yes, but when I started an IVF cycle, some services were out of network. Just as I was ready to give up, I found Kindbody and was able to begin my cycle without any problems. The staff are extremely kind and professional, and everyone greets you with a smile. I would recommend them to anyone. I appreciate how they explain and break things down when you do not understand and support you every step of the way.

After four years of miscarriages, we went to Kindbody in Austin. The entire team was attentive, positive, and provided excellent care. They explained the process in detail and answered all my questions promptly. Our first visit was in December 2023 after prior testing, my egg retrieval was in March 2024, and I was pregnant by August 2024. In April 2025, we welcomed our daughter. Without Kindbody, we would not have this perfect little baby. If we decide to have another child, we will definitely return. Thank you, Kindbody, for giving us our daughter ❤️.

Terrible experience! Do not come here for fertility treatment. I wish I could give a negative rating. KindBody refused service and openly discriminated against my Black husband, despite promising at intake to provide fertility care to both of us. I received only initial services and ended care after they mistreated him. They then billed us without checking our BCBS PPO insurance, although they had said all services were covered. We disputed the charges and asked them to review our insurance, but heard nothing for more than a year and a half. We tried to follow up, but they refused to communicate. Now a debt collector has notified us of an unpaid KindBody bill, although KindBody has sent us nothing since June 2024.

A close friend recommended Kind Body. We have had quite a long journey at Kind Body Austin and have completed three rounds of intrauterine insemination (IUI). I really like the medical staff—Dr. Mehta, Morgan, and others whose names I have forgotten—sorry!! Morgan has been especially helpful. My husband and I travel frequently and our schedules are very flexible, but she always finds time for me and gets us ready for back-to-back intrauterine insemination (IUI) cycles. She has also provided many answers and plenty of support regarding prescriptions and all fertility-related questions. I really like the medical team. I worked with Morgan the most, so she made the strongest impression, but the entire team is wonderful! I also really like the nurses who draw my blood!

We had a wonderful experience at KindBody Austin. The nurses, staff, and doctors were all very kind and thoughtful. IVF is difficult, but KindBody made it a little easier. Unlike others who waited four months for a consultation, we were seen quickly. They listened carefully to all our concerns and explained every available option in detail.

I do not recommend this clinic. There is no physician based on-site; it is mostly run by nurses. The doctors fly in only when a procedure is needed. Care is not personalized, and everyone receives the same approach. As a lesbian couple, I was required to undergo a psychological evaluation simply because we used donor sperm. This was completely unnecessary and absurd. They also required my wife to undergo infectious disease testing even though she was not participating in the IVF treatment. All the standards were clearly designed for heterosexual couples. Overall, the clinic was very unprofessional. I scheduled a genetic counseling appointment, but they failed to send my donor's information, making the appointment a complete waste of time. They also arranged comprehensive genetic testing for me but omitted the very genetic condition carried by my donor. I ultimately switched clinics.

Everyone was very understanding and genuinely supportive. Even when it felt as though nothing was going right, Dr. Mehta and her team never gave up on me. Eventually things began to improve, and I successfully reached the egg retrieval stage. Throughout the process, everyone encouraged me and reassured me that things would work out. I truly felt cared for at every step. Now all we can do is wait—I am both excited and nervous. I 100% highly recommend Kindbody.

The staff and nurses are kind. However, the billing team is a nightmare and made the entire healthcare experience much worse than it needed to be. They do not understand their jobs, close portal messages without taking action, refuse to answer calls, and generally do not care. I wasted far too much time trying to recover money they owed me.

I rarely write reviews, but fertility treatment and egg freezing are deeply sensitive, personal medical decisions, and patients deserve empathy, professionalism, and clear communication. Unfortunately, that was not my experience here. From my first contact, the staff were rude and dismissive, which immediately felt inappropriate given the sensitive nature of fertility care. This attitude continued throughout my visits, and communication remained poor. Despite repeatedly requesting a call, no one contacted me to discuss my treatment plan, upcoming appointments, or costs. Services were scheduled without a clear explanation of their medical necessity, and I received only fragmented administrative replies rather than patient-centered guidance. Only four weeks after my previous ultrasound, I was advised to have another at additional out-of-pocket cost, with no advance explanation from a clinician about the medical reason. When I asked, I was told to schedule another appointment to obtain information that should have been provided beforehand. For a clinic offering egg freezing and fertility treatment, this lack of empathy, transparency, and basic communication is extremely disappointing. Patients should not feel rushed, dismissed, or uninformed in an area involving major emotional and financial considerations. I ultimately decided not to continue treatment and would not recommend this clinic to others considering fertility care.

They were not accustomed to working with LGBTQ couples and did not connect us with anyone who had relevant expertise. They were slow to respond and tried to sell us IVF even though we had no fertility issues. Their default patients appear to be heterosexual couples with fertility problems, which makes sense for their business, but they should not advertise themselves as LGBTQ-friendly if they do not actually have the relevant resources.

I recently had an egg retrieval at Kindbody and had a poor experience. The staff were not very friendly, and the atmosphere felt cold, bureaucratic, and uncomfortable. After the procedure, I received an incorrect bill. I had been communicating with their finance department to resolve it but received no response for several days. This morning, I learned from a third party that my bill had already been sent to collections. Overall, I was extremely disappointed with this experience and will not use their services again.

Do not go to this clinic. This clinic is nothing like it was when Dr. Debo was there. They lost their only truly excellent fertility specialist several years ago and now have OB-GYNs without fertility subspecialty certification providing care at the same high prices. Their treatment protocols are completely one-size-fits-all. Patients are herded through with no individualized care. When I tried to discuss the protocol that had worked for us before—the one that resulted in the birth of our son—I was told that the new doctor, a covering physician from the Dallas clinic, uses the same protocol for everyone. Clearly, personalized fertility care is no longer a priority. After my embryo transfer failed, they called to tell me I was not pregnant. Less than an hour later, I received a bill for 5500 dollars for the next cycle. They did not discuss the failed transfer, plan the next steps with me, or ask what I wanted. There was only a bill. I am now transferring to a smaller clinic in Austin that provides genuinely personalized care, but Kindbody has made the process incredibly complicated. I have completed all the required paperwork, yet I was told I must wait nearly two months for a 10- to 15-minute ‘process call’ simply to authorize another embryo transfer. I cannot believe that a call requiring only a simple yes-or-no confirmation cannot be scheduled sooner. One employee even told me, ‘A lot of people are transferring their embryos to other clinics now.’ When I replied that this did not seem like a good sign for Kindbody, she immediately tried to take back the statement. That conversation gave me deeper insight into the clinic’s current state. The lack of individualized care was especially clear during my second transfer cycle. They actually refer to patients as ‘batches.’ You hear staff discussing your batch and how many women are in it. Because they keep accepting more patients without providing the level of care those patients deserve, the waiting room is packed before 7 in the morning. Ultimately, Kindbody feels more like an organization focused on volume than one that genuinely cares about families. Fertility treatment is one of life’s most emotional, vulnerable, and expensive experiences. Patients deserve compassion, communication, and personalized care. I found almost none of that here. Save your money, time, and energy. There are many far better fertility clinics available.

I am satisfied with the process. I was very nervous at first, and the Kindbody team did not pressure me to continue. When I expressed concerns, they listened. I met Dr. Mehta twice, once before my cycle and once during my retrieval, and she was kind in both interactions. I may complete another round of IVF through Kindbody.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about KindBody and its incredible team! As someone who was very anxious about the process, they made me comfortable and even excited to attend appointments. Dr. Mehta is by far the most patient and kind doctor I have met. She took time to explain everything in detail and never made me feel rushed. Alice performed every ultrasound and always explained what she was seeing and why, which helped ease my anxiety. The nursing team, Allie, Elena, and Marissa, were absolute lifesavers! They usually answered every question within minutes and always ensured my concerns were addressed, even when someone was out for the day. Even the laboratory team was incredible. Although I do not know the name of the laboratory doctor, she was kind and supportive on the day of our transfer, turning a stressful moment into one filled with hope and excitement. After trying on our own for three years, we finally welcomed our baby this July, all thanks to this extraordinary team. I wholeheartedly recommend KindBody to anyone on a fertility journey. I had been unable to become pregnant for more than ten years. My husband and I tried on our own without success. We discovered Kindbody through an employer benefit and decided to try. The staff was extremely kind and caring throughout the process. Our first IVF round succeeded, and I delivered a healthy baby boy at full term. I had begun to think my husband and I would never have children. Now, thanks to Kindbody, we are the proud parents of a healthy 2-month-old. Thank you for making our dream possible.

We began our fertility journey in February 2023. Dr. Mehta and the entire Kindbody Dallas staff were wonderful! IVF was recommended in our case. We trusted Dr. Mehta and committed fully. We had our transfer on September 6, 2023, and became pregnant. I gave birth to our son on May 24, 2024. The IVF process was frightening but exciting and absolutely worthwhile! We highly recommend Kindbody to anyone seeking help on their fertility journey. Although we moved to Arkansas for my husband’s work, we may travel to Dallas in the future to transfer our remaining embryos with Dr. Mehta!

Stay away. Dr. Ruchi Mehta will mislead you. We saw her to have a child. Because we lacked insurance, we were charged more than $2,000, and Dr. Mehta told my wife she could not become pregnant. My wife was devastated and cried all the way home. We saw another doctor, who examined her and said everything looked normal and that she did not understand why Dr. Mehta said my wife could not conceive. Do not trust her. Find another doctor. She will disappoint you. We never returned. They only care about your money!

I cannot say enough good things about this IVF clinic—they helped us bring our baby into the world! Communication was excellent. It was always easy to reach the staff, and they responded very quickly. Every employee was kind and attentive and promptly addressed any question or request. They even followed up without being asked, which was a wonderful surprise. My husband also received excellent care throughout the process, which made us feel reassured and supported. Unlike some clinics where you have to wait, I was almost always seen right at my appointment time, which I greatly appreciated. I was initially worried about repeated blood draws, but the staff was so gentle and skilled that it was never a problem. They explained everything thoroughly, making the entire process much easier. I will always be grateful to this clinic and highly recommend it to anyone hoping to build or grow a family!

Summary: I went to Kindbody Dallas because it was the only clinic covered by my employer. I have low AMH and irregular cycles and felt completely neglected. The doctor recommended donor eggs very early without offering any real alternatives. When they suggested canceling my cycle, they said, “It is your decision.” Despite repeated requests, the administrator never sent orders to my local laboratory, and they rejected two outside ultrasounds. There is no app, no real support, and no personalized care. It felt like I was doing IVF alone. Unless success comes easily for you, they will not try. This review is my feedback—I will not call anyone. Full review: I went to Kindbody Dallas because my employer offers fertility benefits only through them, and I sincerely wish I had not. I live in Oklahoma City and have low AMH and irregular cycles. From the beginning, the experience felt cold and disconnected. I saw the doctor by video both times. Every other part of the process was handled by nurses or administrators. During the second video call, the doctor jumped to recommending donor eggs. When I asked whether I could try one cycle with my own eggs, she emphasized the low chance of success and high chance of failure and discouraged me. She did review my lab results, provide a supplement list, and recommend a mini-stimulation IVF protocol. However, she did not discuss how to address my long, irregular cycles, offer a personalized plan, or make any real effort to explore other options. It felt like a standard answer, not thoughtful care. After several days of stimulation, a nurse called to say the doctor now recommended canceling the cycle. She then added, “Do you want to continue? It is your decision.” That was the entire message. There was no explanation, discussion of alternatives, or next step—only vague guidance without accountability. The doctor said she would call the next day, but I canceled the call because it seemed pointless and unlikely to provide any new information. Because I live several hours away, I used several local clinics for bloodwork and ultrasounds to make monitoring easier. I provided all the information, including the laboratory fax number, and repeatedly asked Kindbody to send the lab orders. The administrator never sent them. They called both local ultrasound scans “blurry” and did not process the results I submitted at all. They showed no flexibility, problem-solving ability, or concern for how inefficient it was to travel round-trip to Dallas for a 5-minute ultrasound. They do not have an app. You must log in through a browser every time to view messages. For a clinic that describes itself as modern and patient-centered, the entire process felt outdated and frustrating. The worst part was feeling completely alone. There was no consistent guidance, true partnership, or anyone who seemed genuinely invested in my success. It felt destined to fail from the beginning. Unless success comes easily, they do not seem willing to make an effort. Once donor eggs were mentioned, it felt as though they gave up on treating me and stopped trying. It is not surprising that many people travel abroad for fertility treatment. At least there, patients are treated as individuals with potential rather than statistics to be managed or avoided. I left Kindbody feeling ignored, unsupported, and emotionally exhausted. I will not contact any vice president of patient experience or call to provide further feedback. I know they usually suggest that in responses to reviews, but I will not. This review is my feedback and says everything I want to say. If you are looking for truly personalized care and a team that will stand beside you throughout the process, I recommend going elsewhere. Kindbody made me feel that unless I was convenient and guaranteed to succeed, I did not matter. For something so personal and life-changing, that feeling is unacceptable.

I was supposed to start IVF with kind body in June and due to my labs they told me that moving forward with IVF wasn’t an option anymore and that I should do donor eggs. when originally being told that we could move forward with IVF we went through a payment plan company called patientfi to make it more manageable to Pay for the treatment mind you when I first went to them and got all my original testing, they had told me donor eggs. I went to another clinic in San Diego and They told me IVF could be a good option for me so I went back due to my job covering it through them.The same day they told me that we could no longer move with IVF I let them know that I had the loan open and they told me that they would take care of it from their end fast-forward a month later the loan is still showing that they haven’t sent the funds back to the company or informed them that I no longer needed the funds and to cancel it out on their end I have been getting nothing but the runaround keep getting told that I’m gonna keep getting contacted back and nothing is happening. I have asked for a name and number for who I can call directly in the billing department that could help me with the situation and all they can give me is that somebody will call or answer me back in the portal. It’s super frustrated because I want this to be cleared out so that I can move forward with another treatment towards my fertility journey and this is halting the process.. I have almost $600 worth of payments due, plus a late fee because they have failed to notify the company that I never moved forward with the procedures and no longer needed the funds that were sent. UPDATE: As of July 21st still have not received the phone calls that have been promised to me from them. At this point I’m just messaging anybody that I can find emails or contact information for with my issue because it doesn’t seem like they’re taking it serious or even care about the stress and emotional toll this has been causing me. This whole thing started June 12 and I still have no resolved and have another payment that is due on August 4th. Final update: July 22 I received an email from the loan company that the transaction had finally been reversed. I am not sure if it was because of all the emails I sent or staying on top of them but it’s done. They still did not take the time to return my calls on the situation and instead they sent an email in the portal updating me that it had been completed . I would have appreciated the decency of speaking to someone since that is what I requested but at least it is finally over. Customer service definitely needs to be improved on especially when dealing with something as important as infertility.

I love this clinic and its doctors and staff. Everyone treated me very well! I learned about them through my employer’s insurance. The entire process took about 5 months before I became pregnant. We are so happy 🥹. My beautiful, healthy baby girl is now 2 months old, thanks to Dr. Ranku and the Kindbody staff! I plan another transfer in a year. I have 2 frozen embryos remaining. I will always be grateful to Kindbody for my miracle baby 🥹

From my first day at Kindbody, I felt everything would be perfect. For those of us hoping for a baby, the Kindbody team makes dreams come true. They handle every detail carefully; to me, they are a highly trained and meticulous team of specialists. Several team members stayed beside me throughout this journey. At times despair can be discouraging, but they never let me down. Nurses Elena, Ally, Mari, and Marissa were very kind and always answered all my questions carefully. Ultrasound technician Aleece was wonderful. Every ultrasound was a new experience, and she always shared good news that made me happy. Physician assistants Adriana and Virginia were also excellent. The clinic coordinator at reception, Alma, was always so friendly. Every appointment and issue I handled with her went smoothly. What can I say about Adriana, who drew my blood? She stayed with me throughout the process. She was kind and helpful, and every experience with her was pleasant. The embryology team—Oby, Caitlin, and Rachel—were very professional and explained everything in detail. Many thanks to my doctor, Rinku Mehta, and my provider, Mary. I had a very disappointing experience with this center. I was told that because of my age, my chances of getting pregnant naturally were only 10%, and that I would need to proceed directly with IVF. Feeling discouraged, I decided to seek a second opinion from an OB/GYN. With a simple progesterone prescription and proper monitoring, I became pregnant naturally. Today, my baby is three weeks old. I understand that every case is different, but I strongly believe patients deserve thorough evaluation, individualized care, and balanced guidance before being directed toward expensive procedures. Based on my personal experience, I would not recommend this center. I encourage others to seek second opinions and explore all options before making major medical decisions.

I feel deeply sorry for anyone who has to use this service. Our company uses them as a third-party provider, but dealing with cumbersome paperwork and inefficient service on top of infertility is enough to make someone want to quit their job. I cannot believe this company treats people who are already suffering this way.

Honestly, I felt a little uneasy when I first arrived because it was my first visit. Over time, I realized it was only my perception, and that feeling disappeared completely. The entire team worked hard to answer all my questions, remained ready to assist, and made me feel well cared for. The night before egg retrieval, I was too nervous to sleep. That morning, the Kindbody care team called to ask whether I was coming and how I felt, which reassured me. When I arrived, they welcomed me warmly, asked whether I was ready, and handled everything professionally through the end. I already look forward to seeing my next provider. They are truly professional.
