For anyone using this facility, they doubled the ultrasound price from $175 to $350. I am sure their other self-pay prices have also increased, so be aware.

This was my second attempt to schedule with this clinic. They make you complete 20 pages of paperwork just for a consultation and repeatedly pressure you about it before a telehealth appointment. This office needs new staff who show compassion, especially toward new patients. I canceled everything, told them to shred my paperwork, and am looking for another office.

Overall, I like this clinic and Dr. Kathy Doody. I am currently working on losing weight and saving money, but I do plan to return. My only issue is that I live 4 1/2 hours from the clinic. Otherwise, I have had no problems with the staff.

CARE Fertility is the reason I have my chubby 5-month-old baby girl. They always responded quickly, and Dr. Kevin was professional and courteous at every visit and answered all my questions. I am very grateful for the compassion and friendliness Dr. Kevin and his staff showed throughout IVF. Anyone who has been through it knows how much it can take out of you, but this team handled everything promptly and was always willing to help. We even had two emergencies during IVF—a dropped medication vial the night before egg retrieval and a threatened miscarriage—and both times the clinic went above and beyond to see me within hours. We could not be more grateful. Thank you.

I had a very positive experience at this facility. The nurses and staff were wonderful, took time to guide me through the procedure, and made sure I was comfortable. I deeply appreciated their care during a difficult journey. One thing I want to share is that people protest outside this facility, which caught me off guard. They were very aggressive, put papers on my car, and shouted as I tried to leave the parking lot. I did not realize how much this would affect me. I do not understand why anyone would spend time making someone's already difficult day and journey worse. I wish I had known beforehand that this could happen. I hope this review helps others feel more prepared during a difficult time.

The doctors are always rushed. Rather than focusing on our treatment, they focused on using us for new research. So we changed clinics.

There is a serious lack of communication. This was our first fertility clinic, and after trying another clinic, I can honestly say I felt more like a task to check off than a patient. They did not explain the process well and offered no guidance to a couple going through this for the first time. This clinic may work if you already know what you are doing, but if you want compassionate, communicative support, I would go elsewhere.

I chose this clinic because it was in network and my insurance covered nearly all costs. I connected well with Dr. Doody and respect his profession. However, I deeply regret my terrible experience with his team, especially billing. After my first treatment, they ‘forgot’ to send the claim to my insurer and kept my deposit indefinitely. More than 10 months later, they still refuse to refund it. I had two treatments here, both negative. The unreturned deposit reminds me of those failures every day, preventing my husband and me from moving forward. We stopped trying.

I walked in, checked in at the kiosk, and sat in the lobby for 15 minutes before receiving a phone call. It was the clinic. I approached the desk and found the woman speaking to me by phone. It turned out they had never checked me in. It had been 35 minutes, and I had other things to do. Such a waste of time and very inconsiderate. Update: After 40 minutes, I finally reached a room.

Ladies were nice and helpful, I really wanted to make this work at this location. HOWEVER- we had to pay 200$+ just to have a call with a PA to review the information we gave them in email. When we asked the PA very general questions, the response was “only the doctor can tell you that”. So before the doctor would even talk to me, they wanted me to pay another 500$+ on labs. So in total (including tests that got us here), we would spend OVER 1,000$ (AFTER insurance, because most of the tests that are done here do not accept insurance) BEFORE even talking with a doctor. And that was just on the husband side. My wife decided to cancel her appointments, so not sure the cost for Woman. This is a money milking place. 0/10 recommend.

On my OB's recommendation, I switched from a highly recommended and popular RE in the area to Dr. Nackley, who is also well known locally. I am also a member of the Fashion Week women's group and have recommended her there many times. I am extremely grateful for the care from Dr. Nackley and her staff. They are efficient, practical, and compassionate. Dr. Nackley gives me room to ask questions, raise concerns, and truly listens! Recently, I had an egg retrieval on the day of an ice storm and was very worried something would prevent the office from opening. The entire staff assured me they would be there regardless. On retrieval day, despite the wild weather and stress, they arrived smiling and went to work. It was like watching a well-oiled machine. Dr. Kevin Doody performed my retrieval and was excellent and helpful. I also spoke several times with on-call physician Dr. Katie Doody, who responded very quickly and was extremely supportive! Many people seem to expect an RE to have every answer and resolve their infertility journey immediately, but patients should also take time to understand the process. As noted, I was treated for a year by a very popular doctor who ultimately missed a major warning sign that quickly became life-threatening. Although I know mistakes happen and no one is perfect, the way CARE's doctors, PAs, and nurses operate gives me confidence in their decisions, recommendations, and support! Fertility is a marathon, not a sprint! Thank you, CARE!

I have not started treatment with them, so I am unsure how it will turn out. I have only completed some tests and consultation calls, and each call was so brief that I had no chance to ask more questions. After I told the doctor we could not afford to spend very much, I felt they did not care. We were seeking the easy program they advertise. Initially, the doctor said someone would call immediately after we hung up to review treatment-plan details, but after I said I wanted easy IVF treatment, she said ‘okay,’ and I have now waited two weeks without a call or email. When I called, they said my husband needed to schedule a consultation so they could register him as a new patient, after which they would tell us what to do. I asked what the consultation involved. She said it was only a phone call to review information he entered in the patient portal. I asked whether they would charge him for it, and she said not yet. WTH, they charge patients to review their information? I feel they just want your money. Money is their priority, not patients.

I had a problem with a doctor at this clinic. Before writing this review, I contacted the clinic to ask whether I could be transferred to another doctor. I have not received a response. In short, I made the mistake of telling the doctor that my husband and I were willing to complete general tests covered by insurance to identify the cause of my ‘infertility,’ but were unwilling to spend more than ten thousand dollars on treatment. I am a stage III cancer survivor who had just escaped cancer-related debt. I was treated as though I were seeking charity or an exception. I mentioned how hopeless it seemed that insurance covered none of the tests. Her response, quoted directly, was: ‘That is not my problem. You need to speak with your HR department.’ After I hung up, my card on file was charged a copay even though I had paid the copay the previous day—a duplicate charge.

I called and left a voicemail, but no one returned my call. I visited in person and was told no one could help me schedule an appointment, even though several staff members were present. I completed the forms I was given, scanned them, and emailed them to the office. At this point, I assume no one wants me as a patient because no one is willing to help me schedule an appointment.

Do you like calling up a place of business, waiting on hold for ages, finally reaching a human who has no idea what they’re doing, being placed on hold again for ages, reaching another human who has no idea what they’re doing, being put on hold again and then finally being sent to voice mail? Then you’ll love this clinic. All I needed to do was update my credit card expiration date with them. 45 minutes of my time wasted and they still couldn’t handle it. I’ve put a lot of trust in this company but I don’t feel good about their basic competency.

Dr. Nackley and the entire CARE team are wonderful. MD Anderson referred me to Dr. Nackley several years ago, and she has been an enormous blessing. I cannot say enough good things about her and her entire team.

This clinic is amazing! They act quickly and keep things moving. Throughout our treatment, every staff member was friendly, helpful, patient, and thorough. An absolute 10/10—I cannot praise them enough!!! Dr. Katie and Liz are both wonderful!

Do yourself a favor and avoid this clinic. The nurses and technicians seem untrained, billing is unclear with unexpected and inflated charges constantly appearing, and communication is consistently poor. Fertility care should be careful and transparent, but this clinic feels focused entirely on money rather than patient well-being.

I was referred to Dr. Doody after two unexplained miscarriages. She not only explained the entire process in detail but also shared her own experience with miscarriage. My due date is March 2026. The doctors provide excellent care, and the facility is very clean. I would recommend them to anyone struggling to build a family.

CARE Fertility is so fortunate! We had been treated at another clinic but ultimately chose this one after hearing many positive reviews. Dr. Kevin and his team welcomed us warmly! We are very grateful for this clinic and for our decision. The staff were kind and helpful throughout the process, the clinic's technology is first-rate, and the team is highly knowledgeable. Dr. Kevin patiently explained everything and answered all our questions at every step. Thank you, Dr. Kevin and team!

My experience has been good so far. Dr. Casey found some polyps, and Dr. Kaitlyn performed successful surgery that left me feeling much better. I want to warn others to read Natera’s reviews before genetic screening. Many people have experienced the same issue. I was told it would cost around $250, but Natera sent a bill for over $1000 after insurance. It is better not to use insurance to pay Natera, or simply avoid their service because they are scammers. I do not understand why the clinic is unaware of this, so I deducted one star.

If we could give CARE more than five stars, we would. During the difficult period of IVF treatment, Dr. Kathy and her team were professional and kind and sincerely provided us with tremendous encouragement and support. Thank you all!

**UPDATE** **CARE Fertility’s claim that they cannot find my name or case in their records is deeply concerning. We were previously patients at the Bedford clinic, with multiple documented communications, appointments, and billing interactions. For privacy reasons, I will not post personal medical documents here, but every detail in my review is fully verifiable and supported by written records and correspondence. The clinic’s response below illustrates the exact lack of accountability, organization, and patient care we experienced. Instead of addressing the substance of our complaint, the clinic chose to question our credibility.** ————— Extremely disappointing! Lack of care, communication, and professionalism. Our experience at CARE Fertility Bedford was deeply disappointing and emotionally exhausting. For months, we tried to move treatment forward, but clinic staff repeatedly mishandled our insurance authorizations and claims. Because of their administrative errors and poor communication, our insurer denied claims that should have been approved. During this time, we faced long waits and unanswered emails and calls. Two appointments to discuss the issue were even refused—the first because the person was on break and the second because they refused to contact me. Instead of helping resolve the insurance process, the clinic repeatedly pressured us to pay all costs out of pocket. When we eventually learned on our own that the insurance decision could be appealed, we asked them to handle the appeal so they could provide the facts the insurer required. However, their submission omitted key facts we had previously agreed on, resulting in another denial. Everyone involved showed a lack of empathy and accountability, causing my wife severe emotional distress. Even more frustratingly, after we transferred to another fertility clinic, the insurer approved the claim almost immediately—showing how important proper claim handling is. At such a sensitive time, we expected compassion, professionalism, and support, but instead felt ignored, dismissed, and discriminated against and were left to manage everything ourselves. Given the seriousness of these issues, we are filing formal complaints with state and federal oversight agencies to ensure accountability and prevent others from having the same experience.

From the beginning, Dr. Kevin and his team at Care Fertility made me feel completely at ease. Help was always available promptly, and there was always a phone number I could reach. The process lasted about 6 months, but they made it feel quick. Today, I sincerely thank Dr. Kevin and the Care Fertility team for making our dream come true.

Definitely five stars for Dr. Nackley! She helped me become pregnant on the first try, faster than IUI. I especially liked how thoroughly she explained everything; at my first consultation, she answered my questions before I even asked. She put me at ease, and I was sad to leave the clinic. However, contact your insurance company yourself to verify coverage. Billing initially said my services were not covered when they actually were. This was frustrating because it seemed they had not checked and simply wanted to charge as much as possible. The Fort Worth front desk staff can sometimes be unpleasant or rude. The Bedford office is amazing! I drove an extra 30 minutes every time just because of its staff. I loved it there!

The team at Care fertility along with Dr Nackley have been phenomenal! I felt at ease here and everyone was so sweet. Grateful for my experience here and sad to leave but as she said I get to graduate to my OBGYN since baby is at 8 weeks and healthy.

Care Fertility was a blessing throughout our infertility journey. Every physician, nurse, and staff member was caring, professional, and supportive. Special thanks to Dr. Nackley, whose kindness and expertise guided us through fibroid surgery, IUI, and finally IVF. She explained each step, respected our emotions, and gave us hope when we needed it most. Other physicians provided equally careful and skilled care when she was unavailable. The nurses and staff answered questions quickly, celebrated small victories, and comforted us through difficult days. Care Fertility Bedford truly lives up to its name. We strongly recommend it for outstanding medical and emotional support.

The facility seemed fine, but after fertility testing I was told insurance would not cover treatment. I ultimately wasted time and money because treatment was unaffordable without coverage.

I would give Dr. Thomas five stars because she is highly skilled, but overall this clinic completely lost my trust. I have no confidence in them. It took several weeks to schedule the initial consultation. At my first visit, I waited more than an hour to see the doctor while the women at the front desk discussed other patients. Before my procedure, I was placed in a conference room. Later, I wanted information about a second frozen embryo transfer—my first transfer had also been at this clinic. I could not reach the billing department. I left several voicemail messages. Each time I called, the front desk transferred me. I finally reached an administrator in the embryology laboratory. She was very kind, assured me she would handle everything, and said she would contact someone in billing. I assume that person may have been at lunch. As expected, I received no response. As someone who has undergone IVF, I have completely lost confidence in this clinic. Dr. Thomas is highly skilled, but her team has made it impossible for me to undergo a second IVF treatment here. I am very grateful for my miracle baby, but I will not risk losing my remaining embryos because of their lack of care.

I scheduled with Dr. Katie Doody. I needed a procedure during the first week of the new year while changing insurance. I called repeatedly to ask whether they accepted my out-of-state insurance and what the tests would cost. I was transferred from person to person, and nobody seemed to know what anyone else was doing. It was chaotic. After my results arrived, I scheduled the next treatment-planning appointment. When I raised concerns, they dismissed them as unimportant. I asked why we could not use a medication that had worked for me previously, and they said, ‘It is off-label, so I do not like it,’ without a reasonable explanation. It seemed they followed a fixed protocol and would not change it even when doing so might benefit the patient. I also needed genetic screening. Their contracted company did not accept my insurance, while another company did. I asked them to send the order to the company covered by my insurance, but they said their contract prevented them from sending it elsewhere. This clearly did not serve the patient's interests. I later went to another clinic and had a far better experience. They tailored treatment to my circumstances instead of pushing more expensive care. CARE's recommended intrauterine insemination treatment also cost twice as much as it does at my current clinic. Overall, I felt my treatment was inadequate and lacked personalized care.

I am a young woman, age 23, undergoing chemotherapy. It was essential to both my doctors and me that I freeze my eggs before chemotherapy. Dr. Nakhly cared for me attentively and made me feel like her only patient. I sincerely thank her and her team for their care and support and am incredibly grateful throughout this process.

The front desk staff are warm, friendly, and helpful. However, this is yet another private clinic that exploits vulnerable women. We were overcharged three times, including one occasion when my husband's copay was only $10 but they charged him $300. They corrected the charges after we called, but never apologized or accepted responsibility for repeatedly making mistakes. As for the doctor, I chose Dr. Nakrani based on the reviews. I first saw her a year ago because I have polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) and wanted to learn how to manage it so I could ovulate and menstruate naturally again. After insurance, I paid $400 for the visit and tests. She spent only 5 minutes with me and said, “Yes, you have PCOS. Come back when you actually want to get pregnant.” That should have been my warning. If you have PCOS and want meaningful treatment beyond losing weight and taking birth control, do not come here. Other doctors will listen and help. Despite the poor first visit, I returned when we began trying to conceive, hoping to use ovulation-induction medication because I did not ovulate regularly. She required multiple consultations, laboratory tests, X-rays, and more, all of which I completed. When she required a hysteroscopy, I had had enough. It would cost another $300 out of pocket, followed by another consultation just to review my normal results before she would consider prescribing clomiphene or letrozole, a $10 medication. I felt like a walking dollar sign. This was not patient-centered care. I do not deny that they have helped many women, but I did not feel that they cared about me as a patient.

I especially want to express my gratitude to Dr. Ana Nackly and her team. I am very thankful that she removed my uterine fibroids. She patiently answered all my questions and provided a great deal of useful information. She explained everything in advance and made me feel that I was receiving the best care. Her team was also kind, courteous, and provided excellent service. Thank you all so much! It has been a long time since I received medical care this good!

We are deeply grateful and sincerely appreciate the communication from all the staff. The front desk, medical staff, and doctors went above and beyond to meet all our needs. We experienced some complications, but the medical team did everything possible and arranged hospital admission within 24-48 hours. We are very thankful for your kind staff and caring medical team. You brought us this little angel, and we are overjoyed. We will keep you updated on the baby.

Content warning: miscarriage I write this with a heavy heart because no one should feel as helpless and abandoned as I did during the most vulnerable time of their life. I underwent IVF through CARE Fertility, and initially everything seemed to go well. My embryo transfer was successful, and I remained under their care until 9 weeks and 5 days of pregnancy without complications. They then said I had “graduated” and instructed me to see an obstetrician-gynecologist. I made an appointment, but as with many clinics, the earliest availability was three weeks away. I believed that wait would be safe because my condition had been stable. Eight days before the appointment, however, I suddenly developed severe vaginal bleeding and intense abdominal pain. Terrified, I went to the emergency room, where I was evaluated, discharged, and told to follow up with an obstetrician-gynecologist within two days. I immediately tried to move my appointment earlier, but the clinic could not accommodate me. Frightened and desperate, I contacted Dr. Thomas at CARE Fertility, my IVF doctor, and explained everything in detail. I clearly stated that my obstetric appointment was still more than a week away and that I was now experiencing complications. I simply asked whether they could evaluate me in the meantime. Their response was devastating. They said that because I had “graduated,” they could not see me. I again explained that I had nowhere else to go and was having complications, but the answer remained no. I cannot fully describe how it felt to be refused. After everything I had endured and the trust I placed in them, I felt completely abandoned when I needed help most. With no other option, I returned to the emergency room two days later when my symptoms worsened. Again, they told me to see an obstetrician-gynecologist. I explained that my appointment was still days away and that my fertility doctor knew my situation but refused to see me. Nothing changed. The day before I was finally due to see the obstetrician-gynecologist, I miscarried. I immediately called CARE Fertility to inform them. Even then, the response was the same: I needed to see my obstetrician-gynecologist because I had “graduated” from their program. With nowhere else to turn, I went to the emergency room for the third time that week, where the miscarriage was confirmed. This experience devastated me. Their lack of compassion, rigid refusal to help, and attitude that I was no longer their responsibility after “graduation” left me feeling abandoned and deeply hurt. I am sharing this to warn others. If you pursue IVF through this organization, arrange an obstetric appointment immediately after “graduating”—ideally for the next day. If something goes wrong before that appointment, you may find yourself without support, as I did. No patient should ever feel so alone.

Words cannot express my gratitude to Dr. Kevin Doody. I am overwhelmed with emotion right now. He is truly amazing! Although my path to motherhood was long and difficult, he helped me achieve it twice. I am incredibly grateful. Throughout IVF, he and his team were kind, helpful, and very supportive. To all prospective mothers going through IVF: please do not give up hope. Dr. Doody and his team will help you realize your dream. Finally, special thanks to Claire H. She always responded promptly to my emails whenever I had a question. I am truly grateful to Dr. Doody and his team!

Some of the negative reviews are absurd and seem driven by personal bias rather than an objective assessment. Throughout our fertility journey, this practice was flexible, inclusive, knowledgeable, and patient with my wife and me. After spending over $100,000 on IVF, we left another prominent fertility clinic in Fort Worth. Following more thorough discussions and testing with CARE—not just, ‘It didn't work this time; let's reload’—we became pregnant on our first IUI cycle and are due in September. The doctors and nurses were kind but did not pretend to be our friends. They did not coddle us or try to spare our feelings; they gave us scientifically grounded feedback. Fertility is sensitive, but after more than 5 miscarriages, you do not want protection—you need answers and actionable information. We had already tried the Creighton Model, ovarian wedge resection, and every diet that might help us bring a child into the world. CARE was the first clinic to make that dream possible. I cannot praise our experience at this practice enough, especially when fertility clinics often seem to offer only spending more money and hoping something changes.

My experience with this practice was not good. I did not feel that they cared about me or my needs, and the office had no communication. I even heard them mishandling another patient's appointment in the waiting room. My husband and I clearly stated that I have severe anxiety and only feel comfortable with female doctors. I had the option of pain medication for one procedure and said I definitely needed it because procedures are always painful for me. My husband lost the prescription. I called every day for a week but could not get a replacement, so because of their incompetence I had to undergo a painful procedure without medication. When I arrived, they had assigned a male provider despite our repeated instructions. This was already a stressful, frustrating time, and they made it worse. The final consultation merely reviewed tests from 4 weeks earlier that we had already discussed. I asked the owner/doctor about a new medication to ensure it was appropriate for our fertility plans, but they did not know the answer. My primary care doctor said it was fine, but the fertility provider should know. Many things went wrong, and consultations were always virtual; I prefer seeing my doctor face to face. The lack of personal service and communication is why I chose another doctor.

The biggest waste of money of my adult life. Operationally, they are a complete joke. We had to send documents repeatedly to the Keller and Fort Worth locations. Dr. Thomas was 35 minutes late to my wife's online consultation, Vanessa B ignored my emails, my voicemail was never returned, and I was hung up on when asking about billing. Clinically, they insisted we needed IUI. Two months later, my wife and I conceived naturally. Glory to God. The final insult was that, although we were self-pay patients, we received a $1,000 bill no one had warned us about. Stay away.

My sincere thanks to Dr. Thomas and her MA, Marisol. From day one, they were eager to work with me. They were highly informative and had excellent bedside manner. They listened to my concerns and answered every question. The staff were friendly and helpful and showed me so much compassion. I would absolutely recommend CARE Fertility to close friends and family.

Dr. Thomas has been a blessing to my family. We have just begun trying for another child, and she keeps us informed at every step.

We had to pay more than $200 to speak with a PA just to review information we had provided by email. When we asked the PA very general questions, the response was, ‘Only the doctor can tell you.’ Before a doctor would speak with me, they then wanted me to pay more than $500 for labs. In total, including the testing that brought us here, we would spend more than $1,000 before speaking with a doctor—even after insurance, because most tests performed here do not accept insurance. That was only for the husband's side. My wife canceled her appointment, so I am unsure about the costs for women. This place is a money grab. 0/10 recommend.

I truly wanted to see Dr. Thomas. I called three times to schedule, but no one returned my calls. On the third call, I explained that no one had called me back. They did not care and simply transferred me to the scheduling voicemail. If they cannot provide this most basic service, why would I give them my money and trust them with my fertility care?

Update: Nicole called me back, and she was extremely unpleasant. She answered none of my questions and only said she would email the results. She never offered to have anyone at the clinic review them with me. These people are terrible, and I regret ever entering this clinic. I learned more about my hormones and cycle using Inito than I did here. Stay away and keep looking!!! This was my second fertility clinic. The first was good, but something felt missing, so we came here for a second opinion based on recommendations. My husband thought the initial call from TC was fine; I never spoke with anyone. They scheduled us quickly, and then the ‘assignments’ began. We both had to watch videos and take quizzes about fertility care, even though we had already completed three rounds of treatment. They then pressured us to pay several days early. When I called, the office transferred me to Billing, which did not answer. It took three calls to learn what I was paying for. Within 24 hours, we owed three copays. The doctor call was ordinary, and they seem to prey on vulnerability. The next day we had testing and scans. I was told they would test my hormones, thyroid, and everything else, but they only performed standard bloodwork that a primary-care doctor would order. They then requested hysteroscopy because of my history of polyps. In less than a day, they wanted another $1,800. My blood-test results were available a week ago, but no one called. I also kept receiving assignments. This place is disorganized, overpriced, and entirely focused on money. We will seek treatment elsewhere. Stay away.

Our IVF experience was excellent. Dr. Kevin Doody was our primary physician, and he and his team were wonderful. The nurses were very attentive. By transferring one embryo, they gave us beautiful twin daughters!

Dr. Thomas and the entire CARE staff were excellent throughout our fertility journey. I could clearly feel how much they cared about me, and they did everything possible to help us conceive. They answered every question and arranged additional appointments when needed.

After nearly three years of trying to conceive, Dr. Thomas and her team made our dream come true. We are deeply grateful to every doctor, nurse, and staff member who helped us along the way. The experience was amazing and exceeded all our expectations.

Our experience was amazing and truly life-changing! Dr. Thomas and her team are kind, positive, supportive, and knowledgeable—exactly what you need during such an emotionally, physically, and mentally challenging time. We always felt cared for, informed, and confident that we were receiving the best care. We trust Dr. Thomas and her team completely and cannot express how grateful we are!

I had a wonderful experience with donor-sperm IUI. Dr. Thomas and the entire team were outstanding. I had the pleasure of working with Dr. Katie Doody and the nurse who performed the procedure; both were thoughtful and knowledgeable. I am expecting a beautiful baby this summer after succeeding on the first attempt. As a single mother by choice, I found the environment welcoming and free of judgment. Highly recommended!

I would give Dr. Thomas five stars because she is an excellent doctor, but overall this clinic has completely lost my trust. I have no confidence in them. It took weeks to schedule the initial consultation. At my first visit, I waited more than an hour to see the doctor while the front desk staff discussed other patients. Before the procedure, I was placed in a conference room. Later, I wanted information about a second frozen embryo transfer; this was my first transfer at this clinic. I could not reach the billing department. I left several voicemails, and the front desk transferred me there every time I called. I finally reached an administrator in the embryology lab. She was very kind and assured me she would take care of everything and contact someone in billing. I assume that person may have been at lunch. As expected, I received no response. It has now been six weeks since my first inquiry. As someone who has undergone IVF before, I have completely lost confidence in this clinic. Dr. Thomas is excellent, but her team is the reason I will not pursue a second IVF treatment here. I am very grateful for my miracle baby, but I will not risk losing my remaining embryos because of their lack of care.

I saw Dr. Katie Doody while changing insurance before surgery during the first week of the new year. I repeatedly called to ask whether they accepted my out-of-state insurance and what testing would cost, but calls were transferred endlessly and nobody seemed coordinated. After my results, I scheduled treatment planning, but my questions were dismissed. When I asked why we could not use medication that had worked before, they said only, 'It is off-label, so I do not like it,' without a sound explanation. It felt like a fixed protocol they would not change even for a patient's benefit. I also needed genetic screening. Their partner company did not accept my insurance, while another did, but they refused to send the order elsewhere because of a contract. That did not put the patient first. Another clinic offered a far better, individualized experience instead of pushing costlier treatment. CARE's recommended IUI also cost twice as much as at my current clinic. Overall, my treatment felt inadequate and impersonal.

Everyone was wonderful. Dr. Thomas clearly explained the treatment steps and risks for patients my age. She gave me time to consider the options and provided attentive care during every procedure. The skilled staff were compassionate when my first few treatments were painful. My treatment at CARE was very successful. Thank you!

Content warning: miscarriage I write this with a heavy heart because no one should feel as helpless and abandoned as I did at the most vulnerable time in their life. I underwent IVF through CARE Fertility. My embryo transfer succeeded, and I remained under their care until 9 weeks and 5 days without complications. They then said I had “graduated” and should see an OB-GYN. The earliest OB-GYN appointment was three weeks away. I trusted that this would be fine because my condition had been stable. Eight days before the appointment, I developed severe vaginal bleeding and abdominal pain. The emergency department evaluated and discharged me with instructions to see an OB-GYN within two days, but the clinic could not move my appointment. Terrified, I contacted Dr. Thomas at CARE Fertility, explained everything, and asked whether they could evaluate me while I waited. Their response was devastating. They said they could not see me because I had “graduated.” I explained again that I had complications and nowhere else to go, but the answer remained no. After everything I had been through and the trust I placed in them, I felt completely abandoned when I needed help most. My symptoms worsened, and two days later I returned to the emergency department. Again, I was told to see an OB-GYN. I explained that the appointment was still days away and my fertility doctor refused to see me despite knowing my situation. Nothing changed. The day before my OB-GYN appointment, I miscarried. I immediately informed CARE Fertility. Their answer was unchanged: because I had “graduated,” I needed to see my OB-GYN. With nowhere else to turn, I visited the emergency department for the third time that week, where the miscarriage was confirmed. This experience devastated me. Their lack of compassion, rigid refusal to help, and belief that I was no longer their responsibility after “graduation” left me feeling abandoned. I share this to warn others. If you pursue IVF here, arrange an OB-GYN appointment immediately after “graduation,” ideally the next day. If a problem occurs before that appointment, you may find yourself without support. No patient should feel this alone.

The final consultation after receiving my fertility assessment results was difficult. Although the information was comprehensive, the tone was overly pessimistic and lacked collaboration. I was told that ovarian stimulation was unlikely to succeed based on my results, and apart from IVF, the only option discussed at any length was eliminating sugar. At that point, I had not tried other conservative treatments, so the process felt heavily oriented toward IVF from the outset. I understand that IVF is appropriate in some cases, but I would have preferred a broader discussion of stepwise treatment options, along with more support and encouragement. Fertility care is a deeply personal process, and communication is just as important as clinical expertise. I am sharing this experience so other women can make more informed decisions when choosing a physician and treatment plan.

This is a highly professional practice that cares for patients during and after treatment. I was fortunate to build our family twice with Dr. Kevin Doody. We are very pleased with the care received. The front desk staff are the kindest people you could meet. They are polite and welcoming whenever you arrive. Waits are short, and treatment is collaborative and easy. I was glad to receive all my fertility treatment here. Overall, it was a very positive experience. I wish I had come sooner!
