This is a wonderful facility—the space is beautiful and welcoming, and the staff are lovely. I would recommend it!

Although most communication throughout the process was with the Kirkland clinic, as a Bellingham resident I appreciated not having to drive to Kirkland for every appointment. The staff here are very friendly, and the environment is quiet and welcoming. If you need documents, be sure to bring them to your appointment rather than contacting the Kirkland clinic by email afterward. I am happy to say our first transfer was successful. I am now 24 weeks pregnant, and the baby looks healthy!

After five years of IVF treatment, POMA finally helped us have our first child through IVF. The Bellingham staff were attentive and knowledgeable and restored my confidence during a difficult process filled with uncertainty. Many thanks to this clinic for helping us create our little family!

I did extensive research for our IVF journey and ultimately chose Poma Fertility. The entire Poma team was wonderful. Everyone was caring, patient, and supportive. Dr. Beasley and Dr. Opsahl were both excellent. They worked together to help us conceive, and our second attempt succeeded. I became a mother at 39. We are thrilled with our experience, and I will always be grateful. It was the best decision I ever made.

Poma Fertility is a wonderful clinic. We loved the staff and were treated very well. We would not go anywhere else to find our miracle baby. IVF is stressful, and they understand that, handling everything professionally and personally. I have been to other clinics, and there is no comparison. We are very grateful for their care and for helping us achieve our dream of a family. We are praying for a second Poma baby. They are undoubtedly the best! We highly recommend them!

Words cannot express our gratitude to Poma Fertility for helping us bring our beautiful baby into the world. From the moment we entered, we felt genuine care. IVF can be daunting, but Poma ensured we were educated, informed, and involved at every step. The personalized care exceeded our expectations and made all the difference in our journey. Poma's nursing staff are incredible—kind, compassionate, and always ready to support us with a smile. We also appreciate the laboratory staff's excellent communication. They kept us updated on our embryos, helping us feel connected to the process. Dr. Beasley and Dr. Opsahl were outstanding. We appreciated the consistency of working with both doctors from start to finish and the continuity of care from the rest of the professional team. The clinic itself was spotless, and everyone's professionalism stood out. If you are looking for personalized, focused care in a more intimate setting, we highly recommend Poma Fertility. The smaller team allows more individual attention, and that truly shows in their care.

Certainly! Here is a refined version of your review: My initial interactions with the clinic were positive. They called soon after my inquiry, and the front desk staff were kind and helpful in getting me started. My first telehealth appointment with a PA also went well. After that, however, the experience became frustrating. We were overwhelmed with tasks, information, and assignments. When I called for follow-up, I often reached voicemail and never received a callback. The required communication app was equally frustrating: it allows only one-way messages, with no easy way to reply or start a new thread. We initially thought we were moving forward with intrauterine insemination (IUI), but were later told more testing was needed, even though we had already completed many tests with other doctors. We hoped to begin IUI quickly and focus on the next step, but communication delays caused us to miss another cycle, which was devastating. Worse, the clinic claimed some required tests had already been completed there, yet the doctor had not even reviewed that information. The lack of communication and coordination was shocking. Even more frustrating, although my husband and I were both clinic patients, had signed HIPAA releases, and attended appointments together, the clinic refused to share information between our charts. For example, I was told we could proceed with IUI, while my husband was advised to pursue ICSI IVF, with no apparent coordination between the recommendations. This disconnected communication and failure to review charts thoroughly made it difficult to trust the clinic. Building a family is already an emotional journey, and these errors added unnecessary stress and heartbreak.

People say in vitro fertilization (IVF) is emotionally and physically challenging. What they do not tell you is that much of the stress comes from the clinic's communication and bureaucracy, even though you depend on the clinic throughout the process. Most people we dealt with in person or by phone—on the rare occasions we could actually reach someone—were friendly and seemed to care. But that is where the positive aspects of our experience ended. Communicating through the "portal" felt like a Kafkaesque nightmare. We mostly encountered repeated confusion, a lack of continuity and context, unclear or incomplete information, or messages being ignored altogether. During the most time-sensitive and emotionally exhausting days of the process, we also experienced an alarming lack of responsiveness. Important instructions, such as how to administer stimulation injections, were vague or completely absent and were often explained only through links to generic videos. Imagine receiving written instructions that say to take a medication "as directed," then being told to watch a video for further guidance, only for the video to say to use the medication "as directed." It was maddening, and we had to search Google for instructions on administering stimulation injections. Considering what we paid and invested in this process, that is absurd. Just tell us how to use the medication! Time-sensitive paperwork for my job was not completed until weeks later, when we physically brought it to a monitoring appointment. We had to leave portal messages and send multiple voicemails and messages to obtain basic information, such as the date and time of the embryo transfer, which the doctor told us we would receive two days in advance. Yet two days beforehand, we heard nothing. Silence. Was our embryo transfer still happening? Had something gone wrong at the clinic? You simply did not know. It felt as though the embryo transfer, possibly the most important part of the entire process, was not communicated to you in time. Instead of revising one section of a form to reflect our wishes regarding testing and discarding embryos, they asked us to identify the specific page. Only after ten escalations did someone finally confirm in writing that they understood our wishes. This should have been confirmed the first time, and going back and forth repeatedly over it was infuriating. The most frustrating part was that whenever they mishandled something or failed to respond, they never acknowledged the problem or inconvenience they caused. Sometimes they would simply smile and answer your question. And you only received a response after asking dozens of times through different channels. It made you feel as though you were losing your mind. All of this made the process far harder than it needed to be. IVF is already complex; it should not become even more confusing and stressful because a clinic cannot follow up and provides poor customer service.

This review is for the administrative/office management staff—nine out of ten calls go unanswered. The only way to contact them is through a malfunctioning app, and responses take time. On several occasions, I urgently needed medical assistance and had to drive half an hour to the hospital to get a timely answer, only to find staff chatting and laughing while ringing phones were ignored or silenced.

I came as a patient but was treated like a number and a source of money. After spending nearly $40,000 on DE IVF and 3 embryo transfers, I finally changed clinics. I discovered that this clinic offered little transparency for people in my situation. They recommended frozen eggs even though they knew fresh eggs were more effective. Thankfully, 5 years later, I finally have a daughter and am now pregnant with my second child. Aside from heartbreak and debt, I have nothing to thank POMA for.

First, if you are reading this review, I am deeply sorry, as it may mean that you or someone you love is experiencing infertility. It is a very difficult process. What I appreciated about Poma: the same doctor handled 90% of our visits; we received realistic IVF success rates that helped manage expectations; and the staff, especially the clinical team, were always warm and friendly. Our only minor complaint was that the portal was cumbersome and outdated, though it takes only a little time to learn. Ultimately, we were sorry that we could not spend the entire pregnancy with Poma. Their attention to detail and service cannot be matched by larger medical organizations. Thank you, Poma, for helping us realize our dream of building a family!

Thanks to Poma and our wonderful, amazing egg donor, we welcomed our baby. He is healthy and active, has a bright smile, sleeps well, loves being tickled, and enjoys bouncing in the baby carrier. As an egg-donor recipient, the entire process was clear, and I felt confident in the clinic's procedures. My ovulation came earlier than expected, so my medication protocol was adjusted quickly, and the transfer was completed successfully the following month. I am deeply grateful to our donor for enduring the injections and egg retrieval, as these are invasive and can be physically demanding. Thank you to Dr. Opsahl and Dr. Beesley, the entire clinic staff, and our donor coordinator Emmy. (To protect everyone's privacy, our Google profile uses pseudonyms.)

We had a pleasant experience with Dr. Beasley and most staff. Dr. Opsahl was very different. He clearly did not review my chart before appointments; I had to remind him each time that I have only one ovary. Given the cost of these clinics, a physician should briefly review the record. We also had several scheduling errors. We travel from Yakima, so these mistakes wasted time and added expense. The second time, I raised the issue with Dr. Opsahl because he should know when his clinic is not operating well. He responded by accusing me of lying and blaming me for the scheduling error, although his staff decided when I should come. I had even questioned the appointment because it seemed too early based on our prior discussion, but the person on the phone told us to attend. Fertility care is an extremely vulnerable time. You often feel inadequate as a woman and powerless. Professionals in this field should take that into account, yet I was treated poorly and extremely unprofessionally. Women, despite what medicine says, I do not believe turning 40 automatically means we need these clinics. We ultimately conceived naturally and peacefully. It is possible.

I highly recommend POMA. Their team is caring, thoughtful, and highly skilled. The clinic is beautiful, but their quality of care is most impressive. My planned IVF cycle was canceled because of poor ovarian response and unexpectedly converted to IUI; I am now pregnant. I came to POMA after unsuccessful IVF elsewhere. IVF success cannot be guaranteed, but how a clinic treats patients matters greatly. At POMA, I never felt like a burden. At my most vulnerable, I felt supported, respected, and genuinely cared for. They combine clinical excellence with compassion, which is what matters. If you have doubts about your current clinic, remember that other excellent and caring options exist. I am very grateful I found POMA. They will always be an important part of my journey.

Our experience at this clinic was terrible. My wife underwent two egg retrievals, with 17 eggs collected each time. Surprisingly, they were unable to produce any embryos. It was a waste of time and money. Think carefully before choosing this clinic.

I think the medical and nursing teams are excellent. Update: Once your cycle begins, communication becomes much smoother and works very well. My only concern is the portal and communication. The process is difficult to follow, there is no direct reply function, I receive no appointment reminders, and several different portals are used. A single portal combining appointments, courses, patient information, and reminders would make everything much smoother.

All staff were warm and friendly. Special thanks to Dr. Messelt—she is wonderful. She is very thoughtful, patiently explains everything, and makes me feel completely at ease.

POMA will always hold a special place in our family's hearts. Thanks to POMA's hard work and the outstanding care from its staff, my husband and I welcomed four babies! Our family is complete, all thanks to POMA. Our most recent pregnancy was truly a miracle. We were fortunate to conceive two babies through POMA, so we thought, since we already had two daughters, why not try once more for a third baby and perhaps the little boy we had always dreamed of? The odds of success were extremely low, almost zero. Everything was working against us, but Dr. Opsahl said, “Why not try? You are here, and even if the chances are low, we should give it a shot.” That day, a miracle happened: not only did we become pregnant, but we conceived twins! Twins! On February 16, 2026, we welcomed another daughter and the little boy we had dreamed of. It is all thanks to POMA and its staff, who handle everything with care, compassion, and thoughtfulness and tailor treatment to your individual needs. Most importantly, they create a positive, uplifting environment. “Thank you” is not enough to express my gratitude to the POMA staff; words cannot fully convey it. It is an honor to write this wonderful review, and I highly recommend POMA. Give POMA a chance—what do you have to lose?

POMA was our answer and our path to parenthood. We are incredibly grateful that a place like this exists and that its medical staff genuinely want to help people like my husband and me. Without this clinic, we would not know the joy of parenthood. Every day, we are thankful that we transferred here from another local clinic. Infertility and IVF are stressful and sometimes daunting. During our five transfers, I did lose hope at times. However, the nurses and staff, especially Megan, Dr. Opsahl, and Beesley, never gave up on me, and that meant everything. The online portal could sometimes be frustrating, but that frustration came from my own anxiety and impatience. None of it was the clinic's fault or responsibility. Everything they did was timely, accurate, and thorough. Frankly, I am grateful for their patience with me. Our fertility journey was not easy. We went through five transfers, and I experienced an incredibly painful loss. Without POMA, I would never have found the courage to continue, and I would not be holding my one-year-old child today. I encourage anyone looking for a clinic to read these reviews. No other clinic achieves results like this one, and no other doctors, nurses, or staff work as hard. The process can be difficult, but you will receive the support and care you need. Here, you are not just a number or a check. They genuinely care, and you will feel it.

Graduated from POMA today after a successful first embryo transfer, and we couldn’t be more grateful. The entire team - from front desk, finance, nurses, to doctors - has been compassionate, knowledgeable, and supportive every step of the way. Thank you for making such a complex and emotional journey feel so much easier. Now we’re counting down the months until we get to meet our little one. Thank you, POMA, for helping make our dream come true. 💝
