The name POMA came naturally to us because it was inspired by the pomegranate fruit. Pomegranate seeds are considered “seeds of fertility.”

Research has found that eating pomegranates increases blood flow to the uterus and thickens the uterine lining, which may help reduce the risk of miscarriage. Pomegranates also contain nutrients such as zinc that can improve sperm count, quality, and motility.

Cheerful colors—think POMA pink—pomegranates, and other fruits appear throughout our clinic, operations, and décor, connecting back to our original inspiration and adding positive energy whenever you share our space.

I highly recommend POMA. We had previously been receiving care at another fertility clinic, SRM, but after they raised their prices, several failed intrauterine insemination (IUI) attempts, and never getting to see an actual doctor, we switched to POMA. I am so glad we did. Their care was very attentive, they used state-of-the-art technology, and we became pregnant after our first IUI. It was wonderful to have bloodwork and some other minor tests done locally, and the Kirkland clinic was warm and comfortable. We will definitely return when we are ready for another baby!

The administrative experience was extremely disappointing. 18 months after my appointment, I received an unexpected bill. When I asked for an itemized bill and information about self-pay options, they completely ignored my questions and responded only with a payment link and a threat to send the bill to collections. This is unacceptable.

After five years of IVF treatment, POMA finally helped us have our first child through IVF. The Bellingham staff were attentive and knowledgeable and restored my confidence during a difficult process filled with uncertainty. Many thanks to this clinic for helping us create our little family!

Although most communication throughout the process was with the Kirkland clinic, as a Bellingham resident I appreciated not having to drive to Kirkland for every appointment. The staff here are very friendly, and the environment is quiet and welcoming. If you need documents, be sure to bring them to your appointment rather than contacting the Kirkland clinic by email afterward. I am happy to say our first transfer was successful. I am now 24 weeks pregnant, and the baby looks healthy!
