Dr. Cristin C. Slater is a board-certified reproductive endocrinologist and infertility specialist. She is deeply committed to her medical practice and passionate about helping patients achieve their goal of having a family.
She earned her bachelor's degree from the University of Utah in 3 years, majoring in health sciences with a minor in chemistry. She received her medical degree from the University of Utah in 1993 and completed specialty training in obstetrics and gynecology at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center. She then completed subspecialty fellowship training in reproductive endocrinology and infertility at the University of Southern California. Before joining Idaho Center for Reproductive Medicine, Dr. Slater spent 3 years as an Assistant Professor in USC's Division of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility, where she taught medical students and reproductive endocrinology fellows.
Dr. Slater has extensive training in laparoscopic, hysteroscopic, and microsurgery, as well as advanced reproductive technologies and hormonal management. She has written 3 medical textbook chapters and published numerous articles in respected medical journals. Active in regional and national medical societies, she has presented her research and has served on the board and as president of the Pacific Coast Reproductive Society. Locally, Dr. Slater enjoys private practice and helping her patients. She continues to teach medical students and residents and lectures to local physicians on topics in reproductive endocrinology and infertility.
Dr. Slater is married and is the mother of twin boys. She enjoys reading and staying active, including Boise's many outdoor activities, especially skiing, hiking, and golf.
