Dr. Kevin Maas, USA
Dr. Kevin Maas is a specialist in reproductive endocrinology and infertility. He is board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology and reproductive endocrinology and infertility.
Dr. Maas graduated with highest honors from the University of California, Davis, earning a bachelor's degree in biochemistry with a minor in comparative literature. He earned his medical degree from Vanderbilt University School of Medicine and completed a PhD in microbiology and immunology during his medical training. While researching autoimmune disease, he received the American College of Rheumatology REF/Abbott Outstanding Graduate Student Research Award, and two of his papers were selected as notable by Faculty of 1000.
Dr. Maas completed his obstetrics and gynecology residency at Stanford University. While at Stanford, he received numerous teaching awards and twice received the Julianne O'Callahan Award for compassion in patient care. He has presented his research at many national conferences and authored numerous scientific publications in nationally recognized journals. More recently, while conducting research at the University of California, San Diego, he studied the mechanisms of androgen excess in women with polycystic ovary syndrome.
Dr. Maas is a member of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine and the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. In addition to his professional achievements, he speaks Spanish, enjoys cross-country skiing, and likes exploring Boise and the surrounding area.
