Dr. Margaret Lippincott, United States
Margaret F. Lippincott, MD, is a clinician and physician-scientist in the Division of Reproductive Endocrinology at Massachusetts General Hospital and an assistant professor at Harvard Medical School. Dr. Lippincott earned a Bachelor of Arts from Swarthmore College and her medical degree from Duke University School of Medicine. She completed an internal medicine residency at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and an endocrinology fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital. Dr. Lippincott is board-certified in endocrinology, diabetes and metabolism, and obesity medicine.
Dr. Lippincott leads the multidisciplinary care center for polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS). In addition to PCOS, she treats patients with a range of reproductive conditions, including hypogonadism in men and women, infertility, menopause, and menstrual disorders. She also provides nonsurgical weight management at the MGH Weight Center.
Dr. Lippincott studies the genetic architecture of human reproduction and how genes essential to normal reproductive function affect lifelong health. She also teaches female reproductive endocrinology to faculty and fellows.
