Dr. Timothy Yeko is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility. Dr. Yeko is director of research for The Reproductive Medicine Group. He has been a principal investigator or co-investigator in more than thirty research trials.

Dr. Yeko has a special interest in advanced operative laparoscopy and hysteroscopy for the management of endometriosis, fibroids, pelvic pain and dysfunctional uterine bleeding. He has a special expertise in the treatment of infertility including intrauterine insemination, in vitro fertilization and oocyte donation.

Dr. Yeko received his undergraduate and medical school degrees from the University of Wisconsin where he earned membership to the Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society. He completed his residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology and started his fellowship training in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at the UCLA – harbor and completed his fellowship at University of Illinois. Dr. Yeko served as the division director of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at the University of South Florida and is the Medical Director for ART at our center. He joined The Reproductive Medicine Group in 2000. Dr. Yeko has consistently been recognized as among the Best Doctors in America. He currently sees patients at our South Tampa, and Brandon office.

    Dr. Yeko is an excellent physician who genuinely wants to help patients become pregnant, but the communication and billing processes are terrible. The only way to contact staff is through the portal. If you call, you only reach voicemail. On several occasions, I waited until after business hours to receive instructions for medication I needed that evening, only to be told to respond with any questions before 4 p.m. This is extremely anxiety-provoking during fertility treatment. The billing department is consistently slow, frequently makes mistakes, and takes forever to issue refunds. Even so, I would go through it again because I am now officially a mother. I am profoundly grateful for the kindness and dedication of Dr. Yeko and the entire clinical staff.

    We are extremely grateful to RMG and Dr. Yeko! The path to parenthood was not easy, but it was absolutely worthwhile. Thanks to their expertise and care, we finally welcomed our miracle baby, and we are very excited to return for baby number two! The entire RMG team gave us endless support.     We are deeply grateful to Dr. Yeko, Jana, and every staff member who helped us along the way. After two miscarriages, they supported us through two successful pregnancies. They were consistently kind, patient, and attentive. Dr. Yeko performed comprehensive testing and surgery to rule out possible causes of our miscarriages and gave us clear guidance for the next pregnancy. Although our diagnosis was unexplained spontaneous miscarriage, his compassion and care gave us the confidence to continue. At our most recent visit, Jana even gave us a small gift bag and a onesie, which deeply touched us.

    I had a wonderful experience with them and highly recommend RTG. I began IUI in 2024, eventually proceeded to IVF, and am due in 2026, God willing. I felt that my success was their success. They were compassionate about every setback while always remaining as positive and helpful as possible. Dr. Yeko is knowledgeable, patient, understanding, and highly considerate of my needs and expectations. I visited the Brandon, North Tampa, and South Tampa clinics. All locations were clean and organized. Staff were occasionally delayed or rushed, most often at the North Tampa location, which is the busiest. My procedures went very smoothly, and I was very impressed with the process and staff. I felt comfortable before and after each procedure, and they always followed up to make sure I was doing well. I have no complaints, only praise. Installing the Prelude app is essential. It helped me track appointments, medications, schedules, documents, and especially communication. You can call, but if you do not reach someone immediately, it may take time for them to respond. Replies through Prelude are faster, and it is easier to review messages if I am confused about medications, next steps, appointments, billing, or other information. I become overwhelmed easily, and Prelude helped me tremendously. If I had an emergency, I could call the after-hours emergency line, and I received prompt help every time. Billing issues occasionally occurred. I reviewed them carefully with staff, and most were simply system errors that were resolved quickly. Since beginning this journey, the entire process has been a roller coaster, and my emotions have fluctuated greatly. Everyone’s experience is different, but I am glad I chose RMG.

    We are truly grateful to Dr. Yeko and the RMG team! We began this journey in 2024, and every staff member I met was warm and friendly from the start. Dr. Yeko is extremely knowledgeable and meticulous. He always monitored my progress and gave positive feedback, making me feel at ease at every visit.     In 2023, we began our fertility journey as a same-sex couple. We had an IVF consultation in June or July, an egg retrieval in August, and a successful pregnancy from our first transfer in early November. We welcomed our perfect baby, Kreed, on July 3, 2024. Today, December 2, 2025, we had the pregnancy-confirmation ultrasound after our second and final embryo transfer. Dr. Yeko is wonderful and very kind. Whatever concerns you have, he is always willing to listen and reassure you. Both of our transfers were successful. The entire process from consultation to pregnancy took less than four months. Our little brother is also due in July 2026! Thank you to everyone at RMG. My favorite is the ultrasound doctor in Brandon! She is very kind and recognizes you at every visit.     Dr. Yeko and the entire RMG team gave us tremendous support throughout our fertility journey. We visited several of their locations, and each was clean with warm, friendly staff.     I recently graduated from RMG and am delighted to share that I am 9 weeks pregnant after a successful first IVF cycle. I began treatment with them last August and have been very pleased with the support I received over the past year. The staff were always kind and responsive, and they were easy to reach through the patient portal. I initially saw another excellent physician at the clinic, but after seeking other opinions, I switched to Dr. Yeko. His protocol and approach were a better fit for me and my fertility journey. What impressed me most was that he never recommended the easiest or most beneficial option for the clinic—he always prioritized my interests and offered the best options for me. That was essential. I highly recommend RMG to anyone beginning a fertility journey. I am very grateful for their care and for helping me achieve this dream.

    About a month ago, I requested my medical records through their portal. I received the records directly from Silvia Aleman. After reviewing them, I found that many scans and other laboratory results were missing, so I contacted her because she had sent the records. I had to follow up several times before I finally received them, along with the unpleasant response below. I found the bold text and excessive emphasis passive-aggressive and unnecessary, apparently in response to my noting the long response time. The original request was submitted through the portal, so I do not understand why the process I had already followed correctly needed to be emphasized again. Likewise, she had emailed the initial records to me, so contacting the person who sent them seemed most reasonable. Egg freezing costs more than $10,000 and is a time-consuming process. Patients should not encounter this kind of unprofessional behavior from the outset. I have other reservations about my experience at this clinic and will update this review later.

    Dr. Yeko is absolutely the best! This journey was extremely difficult, but Dr. Yeko always showed us understanding and compassion. When we did not conceive as quickly as we had hoped, he always had a treatment plan ready. I clearly remember an appointment after a failed frozen embryo transfer when Dr. Yeko took time to discuss everything with us in detail before explaining what we could try next. He never treated us coldly or as a number on a spreadsheet. Thanks to his hard work, we are now parents to a wonderful 2-year-old. Amy said he was waiting for and watching my results until she saw them. We returned a few months ago to try for a second child and succeeded on the first attempt. In addition to everything positive I can say about Dr. Yeko, the staff at the Brandon and South Tampa locations were also very friendly. They were always on time, which was essential for appointments before work.

    I know there are some poor reviews about phone communication and similar issues, but I have been a patient at this clinic for more than ten years, have had two babies, and am now pregnant. I can confidently say the staff always respond quickly through their portal. Over the years I have also heard about other practices, but I still believe Reproductive Medicine Group has the best reputation and facilities! The staff are always thoughtful and attentive. I especially appreciate Lisa, the ultrasound technician in South Tampa, who is very careful and considerate during every scan, and the on-call nurse Sonya, who always makes sure urgent issues are handled promptly and effectively—for example, when the pharmacy sent me the wrong medication! My doctor is Dr. Yeko, and he is excellent. From the beginning, I felt fully supported, informed, and cared for. His extensive knowledge, clinical skill, and thoughtful treatment plans made us feel reassured at every step of our fertility journey. I have always trusted his guidance and felt confident in every direction he recommended. Beyond his medical expertise, he provides clarity and genuine compassion, which are essential during such an emotional and vulnerable process. Dr. Yeko helped me successfully complete three IVF cycles and achieve my dream of pregnancy. I will always be grateful for his care and highly recommend him.

    I do not recommend this clinic and strongly urge caution when choosing RMG. During my care, their billing department caused numerous problems and frustrations. They overcharged me without telling me there was a credit on my account for future treatment, applied my payments to services other than those I actually received, and even tried to charge me for services I never received. After initially being told I could receive a refund, they later said only 20% could be returned after nonrefundable fees. Choosing a clinic is a major decision and financial investment, yet this clinic deceives its clients and is poorly managed at best.

    This was only the first call, and it immediately gave us zero confidence. The doctor literally just told us something we already knew, and the call lasted no more than 30 seconds. This company is a complete scam. All they did was that very short phone call where the doctor just said “hello” and told me I needed to do a sperm test. That’s it. No real consultation, no diagnosis, no treatment, no exam, NOTHING. Honestly, that’s something anyone with common sense already knows without needing a doctor. Then, out of nowhere, they sent me another bill for almost $800. For what exactly? There was no service provided. When I called them to ask about the charge, they refused to give me any information. They just kept saying they couldn’t disclose anything, which makes zero sense. Instead of explaining, they immediately moved the charge to collections. It’s very obvious that their only goal is to make money by pushing unnecessary charges and making up services that were never actually provided. We didn’t receive any treatment, any testing, or any real medical service. This is dishonest, misleading, and feels like a straight-up scam. I would strongly warn anyone to stay away from this company.

    Dr. Timothy Yeko is an exceptional physician. After multiple miscarriages, he helped us achieve two successful pregnancies. His expertise, attention to detail, and calm confidence made an extremely difficult journey manageable and hopeful. His skill is reassuring and makes you know you are receiving the best care. The entire team showed the same level of excellence. Lisa is an outstanding ultrasound technician: compassionate, highly skilled, and always able to comfort us during anxious moments.     My experience at RMG was excellent from start to finish. I am very grateful for the staff’s attentiveness, the kindness of the physicians, especially Dr. Yeko, and the whole team’s approach to my treatment.     I went through this organization's egg-freezing program last year, and every step was a nightmare. Dr. McCormick herself was kind, but that was only a small part of the process. Calls were rarely returned, institutional billing problems consumed enormous amounts of time, communication went in circles without clear expectations, medication instructions were vague, nurses were rude and cold, pelvic exams were rough and painful, and my veins were blown several times during blood draws—even though my veins are good, as the nurse specifically noted before damaging my arm. They ultimately had to use my hand because rushing had created such a mess. If you need help—and you will, or at least need questions answered—no one at the clinic wants to assist. I eventually had to appear in person and fill the lobby to get anything done. Sometimes I had to cry in the lobby before finding someone willing to help. Even paying the storage fee took two hours on the phone. They have now changed systems again, and all my medical records and documents have disappeared from the app. I had to retrieve hundreds of documents to reconstruct my history. When I went to the office today, not one call came in, so I am nearly certain they route all calls elsewhere. Given all the prior complaints about communication, I am amazed they do not leave the phones ringing. They seem severely understaffed, and those working appear exhausted. My experience here made an already stressful and difficult situation far worse. Go elsewhere to avoid the same frustration, where people will treat you like a person and show empathy. *Update: After working with them to ship my eggs to another clinic for thawing, I learned that domestic egg shipping was as bad as every other step with RMG. They were unresponsive, never answered the phone, and, as they admitted by email, were “understaffed.” This delayed shipment by several months and cost $6000. Of the 12 eggs I froze at RMG, only 2 survived thawing according to RMG's instructions; the rest had degenerated and were unusable. Before considering this clinic, ask about its experience with egg freezing and its thaw survival rates. My extremely low survival rate was likely due to RMG's inexperience and improper freezing. If I could give RMG negative 10 stars, I would. Do not waste your time or entrust your most precious gift—your fertility—to them.

    Four years ago, I had my first and only major surgery with Dr. Yeko. I had 5 benign tumors in my uterus that made my abdomen look six months pregnant. He did not waste my money by ordering unnecessary repeat imaging. He reviewed the previous doctor’s records and performed a simple blood test to determine whether a myomectomy was possible or whether I needed a hysterectomy. The day after surgery, he stopped what he was doing and came to my hospital room just to check on me. He was very approachable and occasionally made appropriate jokes. He, his office staff, and the nurses at St. Joseph’s Hospital took excellent care of me. A week later, I received records of everything that happened under anesthesia. I began bleeding, but he did not give up. Dr. Timothy Yeko puts patients first and does everything possible to achieve the outcome they want. I would recommend him again and again. He is a healer. He saved my life and my uterus. Thank you, Dr. Yeko, for everything. I will never forget you. Love and peace ❤️❤️❤️
