Leah Bressler, M.D., M.P.H., is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology (OB/GYN) and reproductive endocrinology and infertility (REI). She grew up in Clinton, North Carolina, and developed a love of science while attending the North Carolina School of Science and Mathematics. She then attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill as a Morehead Scholar. Dr. Bressler earned her medical degree from Harvard Medical School while also completing a Master of Public Health. She completed her OB/GYN residency at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine and Cook County Hospital in Chicago, Illinois, followed by an REI fellowship at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Before joining SGF, Dr. Bressler served at UNC as Medical Director, Director of Third-Party Reproduction, Associate Fellowship Program Director, and Residency Rotation Director. An active researcher, she has published first-author articles in leading REI journals, including Human Reproduction, Fertility and Sterility, Obstetrics & Gynecology, and the American Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Bressler belongs to several professional organizations, including the American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM) and the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG).
Dr. Bressler provides patient care at SGF's Raleigh, North Carolina location. She is also the founder of knitwix, which applies organic and physical chemistry principles to improve textile performance in women's underwear. Since 2021, she has advised a U.S. Department of Defense project designing an in-flight bladder relief system for female fighter pilots. In her free time, she enjoys golfing with her partner and friends, watching her children play sports, running, and baking.
