There was some miscommunication. I probably should not leave a review because we only went through one cycle, but they ultimately did not perform the IUI during the first cycle even though we had paid for a cycle.

I am a little late writing this review—almost 5 years, to be exact, as our fertility baby recently turned 4. After nearly 8 years of trying, my husband and I confidently made an appointment at the Fertility Center in Chattanooga, Tennessee. We were informed of the costs right away and prepared for testing. Dr. Donesky was very knowledgeable and explained every detail, including our options for the next step. After many conversations and prayers, my husband and I chose intrauterine insemination as our first option. We were then assigned to Katie—I am sorry that I do not know her last name. To this day, my husband and I say Katie is our favorite. She was very professional but always energetic, a breath of fresh air during the stressful emotional journey of infertility. We completed all the testing, medication, and trigger shot, and then it was IUI day. My husband could not join me because of a work conflict, so I went alone. To say I was nervous is an understatement. Katie came in, professional and cheerful as always. She performed the insemination and explained every step. Fast-forward: thank God, our first IUI worked. The Fertility Center brought us in for weekly bloodwork and ultrasounds to make sure our baby boy was healthy and developing normally. At every visit, the entire staff greeted us with smiles. They even allowed all the grandparents to gather for an ultrasound and were always very supportive. We eventually graduated from the Fertility Center and transferred to routine obstetric care. We had been spoiled by weekly ultrasounds because regular OBs are very stingy with them, haha. I have read the negative reviews, but I must say that Dr. Donesky, especially Katie, and the staff were wonderful to my husband and me. We thank God that we took the step of visiting the Fertility Center in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Our sweet miracle boy is thriving and happy. We will always be grateful to the Fertility Center team.

My partner and I are deeply disappointed by how this clinic handled our situation. After booking an appointment a month in advance, we were told at the last minute that they no longer provided the donor service we needed. This should have been disclosed immediately, not a few days before the appointment. Even more concerning was their vague explanation that “some donor cases are more complicated and require more time.” This made us feel that, as a same-sex couple, our case was considered more difficult or less important. It felt discriminatory and left us feeling unwelcome and disrespected. The clinic should be ashamed of this conduct. Its lack of transparency and last-minute communication shows complete disregard for patients' time and needs. Anyone considering this clinic should be cautious, especially members of the LGBTQ+ community. We expected professionalism and fairness, but unfortunately that was far from our experience.

The doctors and staff at the Fertility Center are wonderful! Every time we go, they are kind, considerate, helpful, knowledgeable, and professional. We have gone there for two pregnancies—first for our nearly three-year-old son and now for the baby I am carrying. When we struggled to conceive last time, Dr. Donesky went above and beyond for us. He answered all my questions and was very kind and thoughtful. This time, he also offered many good suggestions to help us. The Fertility Center has been such a blessing in helping our family grow! Thank you so much. If you need any help with fertility challenges, we highly recommend Dr. Donesky, Katie—their wonderful NP—and all the staff and doctors at the Fertility Center!

My wife and I were referred to this fertility clinic and are sincerely grateful for all the help they have given us. We took a short break after visiting the office last year, but the staff have consistently treated us with genuine care in person and through the online portal. Our first attempt was not successful, but we have complete trust in the staff and Dr. Byrd because of their extensive knowledge of timing and consistency. Some procedures may also seem expensive, but they are actually very affordable compared with other clinics. We did not encounter any hidden fees or the “money-grabbing” tactics others have mentioned. My wife and I did extensive research on the various procedures and met with the financial counselor during our consultation, making sure to ask every question and clarify any possible financial issue or scenario. This is a wonderful clinic with wonderful people, and we are very grateful for everything they do for everyone.

If you want a clinic that truly cares about you, this is the one. Everyone here provides the best possible help, starting with receptionist Jan, who is very friendly and helpful. Lab technician Karen is not only very kind but also excellent at drawing blood. Nurse Alishia is always friendly and quick to answer any questions or concerns. NP Kristen always helps with my ultrasound monitoring, explains the next steps, and responds quickly and kindly to any questions. Lisa McDonough is an exceptionally kind person. I have never met her in person, but I know her through her helpful, thoughtful emails. She assists us with everything related to scheduling and finances. Shelly in finance is the kindest person and an expert in her field. She helps resolve any financial issues and makes every process as smooth as possible. The clinic is always clean, and the prices are very reasonable—much lower than most places—while the quality of service is priceless. They voluntarily gave me coupons for expensive medications even though I never complained or asked, because they genuinely care about patients. Their portal system is excellent, though using it as the main form of communication can sometimes cause misunderstandings. They resolve issues quickly and explain things clearly. My only suggestion is that a phone call alongside portal messages can make things clearer and prevent confusion. Dr. Donesky is an amazing doctor. He listens well, understands patients' concerns, and truly takes the time to discuss what is best for you. He stays current with research and the latest studies that lead to successful outcomes, and he is willing to discuss options that can improve patient care. After every consultation, we felt very happy because he explained everything clearly and kindly, answered all our questions, and provided a clear plan for the next steps, so we were never confused. Every surgery he performed was successful and free of complications. Dr. Bird III performed one of my procedures and was very considerate and informative. I had no further problems afterward. Sydney, an RN in Chattanooga, always responded promptly to any questions or concerns. Her information about plans and protocols was accurate and detailed. She even sent me many coupons and websites with important information I might need. Embryologists Selena and Marie were very friendly and answered my questions promptly and kindly. They even called us to make things clearer instead of only writing to us. Overall, this clinic is an excellent choice for any couple struggling with infertility in or outside Tennessee. Even though I live outside Tennessee, I would gladly return to the Knoxville and Chattanooga clinics again and again, and I would recommend them to all my relatives, friends, and colleagues. I do not recommend this clinic. Although our experience started pleasantly, it went downhill from there. We spent a year here undergoing fertility testing and intrauterine insemination (IUI). When that did not work, we decided to pursue IVF. At this clinic, it would have cost about $25,000-$30,000 including all fees, which we could not afford, so we decided to undergo IVF in Greece at a lower cost with better, world-renowned doctors. We still needed some testing in the United States to send to Greece. We returned to this clinic after working with them for more than a year, and they were very rude. Even though we had spent about $10,000 with them that year, they charged us a "new client fee" of several hundred dollars on top of the testing costs because we chose to try another doctor. We reluctantly accepted it. The following week, we had another test—the final one needed to confirm our IVF treatment—and it was critical to the schedule we had to follow. Despite knowing this, the clinic chose not to send the results to our other clinic in Greece. Fortunately, after several calls with Greece before it was too late, we were able to complain and finally have the test sent. Our schedule was delayed and barely remained workable. After completing IVF and returning to the United States, we had follow-up testing at this clinic. They then decided we could no longer access our own medical records. My wife was waiting for blood test results, but they did not send them to her. When we contacted them, they made what seemed like a sarcastic remark: "Well, last time you said you needed the results sent to Greece, so this time we didn't send you anything, only them." After several emails, we finally received the results. We then checked the price of the next blood test elsewhere and found that this clinic charged twice as much as another medical clinic we had visited, so we will not return. They were pleasant when we opened our wallets, but once we decided to try someone else, they became absolutely unreasonable.

I just want to know where I can sell my semen.

The best fertility clinic. The entire team is friendly and knows what they are doing. I feel very safe with them. With God's help, I will begin treatment with them, confident that this time I will have my baby!

I had a good experience with the staff and doctor, although I strongly recommend that this office—and all fertility clinics—disclose the following warning. Warning for women taking Clomid: part of female fertility testing involves taking Clomid to trigger ovulation. I did not know that this increases the chance of an ectopic pregnancy. That is exactly what happened to me. At 8 weeks, I had emergency surgery at Park West and lost both the pregnancy and a fallopian tube. This Knoxville clinic is the best clinic I have encountered in the area. Everyone is friendly, kind, professional, and courteous. Receptionist Jan is very friendly and helpful. Laboratory technician Karen is also friendly and excellent at drawing blood. Nurse Alisha is kind and responds quickly to any question. Nurse Kristen is extremely knowledgeable, always explains the entire process and plan, helps with ultrasound monitoring, and answers questions quickly. Shelly on the financial team is the best and kindest person and makes everything as simple and smooth as possible. Prices are very reasonable and lower than elsewhere, while the services are even better and reflect the latest science. Dr. Donesky helped us greatly. He always finds ways to address difficult problems and makes everything simple, smooth, and successful. Every consultation with him left us hopeful and grateful. We never felt confused or lost hope because he always discussed the latest science, data, statistics, and research to give us the best chance of success. He never dismisses any patient. This Knoxville location looks small from outside, but it is a large facility where an excellent professional team works hard for many patients. Be sure to review the documents, ask about prices, and keep your receipts! They do poor work and do not communicate.

My partner and I underwent two IUIs and two rounds of IVF under Dr. Donesky at Knoxville Fertility Center. Although the nursing and front desk staff were consistently kind and professional, I never felt fully confident in Dr. Donesky's care. He personally performed only one of my procedures, and I often felt he lacked the empathy and attentiveness that I consider essential in fertility treatment. After our first IVF cycle failed, we received no real answers, and the protocol was barely changed for the second attempt. We felt as though a template was being followed instead of receiving individualized care. One particular concern was Dr. Donesky's recommendation of “Juice Plus,” a multilevel marketing (MLM) supplement connected to someone in the office. No supporting research or medical evidence was presented. Such a recommendation felt inappropriate, especially in this sensitive, high-stakes setting. The journey itself was physically and emotionally exhausting, and unfortunately this clinic did not seem right for me. We subsequently decided to continue looking for another provider. This was my personal experience, and I know others may have different ones. I am sharing it to help people make informed decisions and sending baby dust to everyone navigating the path to parenthood.

This place has truly been amazing. I have been through a hard journey, which I know none of this is easy for anyone, but the team has been so positive and loving and helpful towards me. The communication has been so crystal clear, and on top of that multiple people on staff have gone out of their way to check on me And message me during my journey. Dr. Donesky, Kristin, Alicia, Karen, Sydney, and everyone else at the Knoxville location has been just really gone above and beyond. Thank you to everyone making this difficult time a little less difficult.

My experience here was absolutely wonderful! I had been looking forward to writing this review! At every visit, everyone was warm and friendly without exception. They were always kind and considerate and wanted us to become pregnant as much as we did. During those difficult days, we felt supported at every step. I am now writing this while holding my two-week-old baby. I once thought this day would never come. Thank you! I cannot wait to bring him in to meet the people who helped bring him into the world!

Infertility treatment is a long and difficult journey, but Dr. Donnely's office was extremely helpful throughout my care. I felt that they genuinely cared about me and were very attentive. What I appreciated most was seeing the same care team at every visit, which was important because my appointments were frequent. For more than a year, I felt as though I visited almost every week, yet even if I arrived early or late, I never waited more than a few minutes. I always saw the same receptionist, the same kind staff member who drew my blood, and the same excellent nurse who performed all my tests and ultrasounds. I only went to Chattanooga twice, once for egg retrieval and once for embryo transfer, which was much more convenient than traveling to Nashville. The clinic and staff there were also excellent. They use a portal for messages, test results, and other information, and they review and respond quickly. Even at night or on weekends, I felt they responded within six hours every time. They schedule your next appointment and post the instructions in the portal. Changing an appointment was never a problem. We completed two IUI cycles before trying IVF, and they were very helpful with those as well. Thanks to the Fertility Center, our IVF was successful, although it was still a stressful process. I am very grateful to every clinic staff member for supporting me through this challenging life experience. I recommend this fertility clinic to everyone, and I would definitely return if I ever needed IVF again. Update: I also found their IVF pricing more affordable than other options I researched. We purchased a package covering up to three egg retrievals and three embryo transfers to achieve one pregnancy, and it was an excellent value. Even though we needed only one cycle, the price was still very reasonable. We changed our embryo transfer decision at the last minute, and they were very helpful financially and treated us fairly. I believe Shirley in Chattanooga handles finances, and I felt she worked very hard to help patients however she could.

Wonderful team! I have been receiving care here since 2024. Two couples I know strongly recommended them because we had difficulty conceiving. We thank God that we found this team. Everyone is approachable, helpful, kind, and caring. They took excellent care of my wife and me. We trusted them, followed their advice, and completed their process. We always felt welcome here. In January 2026, my wife and I welcomed a beautiful daughter. I highly recommend this center to any couple facing fertility difficulties. They will do everything they can to help couples achieve their dream of a complete family. I love this place and everyone here and cannot thank them enough. This is the best fertility center!

They never respond to emails. I have sent four emails asking about a semen analysis because my wife and I are trying to conceive, but they completely ignore me. I have also seen other reviews saying they do not answer the phone.

I will always praise this fertility center. Thanks to them, I have two healthy, beautiful IVF babies 💕

He had no idea how to treat my stage IV endometriosis and kept ‘experimenting’ with different medications. Because I previously had estrogen receptor-positive breast cancer, I could take only medications approved by my oncologist. Dr. Donsky wrote me a letter saying that because I had not followed his treatment plan—even though I tried everything except hormones and nothing worked—he would no longer be my doctor. He also wished my future doctor well. So much for his oath to treat patients. If you have severe endometriosis, do not waste your time with him.

Finding a doctor who genuinely cares about us is priceless. We searched for a long time until God guided us to him. He is an excellent doctor who takes the time to listen to our concerns. He always finds a way through every difficulty we encounter and makes things very simple. If we could give him more stars, we would. He is extremely kind and always gives us hope. I feel wonderful after every procedure he performs. Thank you for your kindness and help to our family. We will be indebted to you for life and will never forget your kindness.

I cannot recommend them highly enough! My husband and I struggled for thirteen years before finding this group. We saw every specialist in East Tennessee and finally found the people and care we needed with Dr. Donesky and his Knoxville office staff. They treated us like family from the beginning. We were always kept up to date, and every question or concern was addressed immediately. I cannot thank them enough for everything they did. Thanks to the Lord and this office, we are finally expecting in July.
