He spent over two hours getting to know my husband and me. He reviewed our history, laboratory results, fertility plans, and more in depth. He asked what I wanted from all of this and asked questions no one else had asked during my journey. He listened to every question and answered without judgment. I attended another fertility clinic where I felt like part of an assembly line. Here, I truly feel seen and understood. Dr. P is passionate about this field, and I can honestly say I would not want to use any other practice. Receiving this referral was a blessing. The front desk receptionist is wonderful. She is funny and makes us feel at home every time we enter. I feel that she takes good care of me and never misses a detail. The medical assistant is also excellent. She drew my blood very gently and explained every process. She took time to get to know my husband and me, and I truly appreciated having her with us during this process. Finally, Yuri is outstanding. She is the staff RN and goes above and beyond to answer my questions, address medical concerns, and respond promptly to every email. When Walgreens did not receive one of my medications, she corrected the problem almost immediately. I cannot say enough good things about this staff. I have already referred someone here because I believe in them so strongly. We are only beginning the process, but I know I am in good hands. Whatever the outcome, thank you all for being such compassionate and amazing people. I will always be grateful.

Shady Grove is amazing! Dr. Patounakis is amazing! His team, Nurse Yuri, Angel, and Heather, is also wonderful. My husband and I faced male-factor infertility. Honestly, we previously thought becoming pregnant would be difficult. Dr. Patounakis was helpful, thoughtful, and compassionate. He gathered all our information and listened carefully. He reassured us at every step and created the right plan for us! Nurse Yuri returned our calls whenever we had questions and was very friendly. We want to thank Dr. Patounakis and his team for helping us build our family. Our journey began in 2019, a very stressful time for us. After multiple attempts and seeing other doctors, we were referred to Dr. P. My husband and I were somewhat skeptical of the process but decided to try. During our first consultation, the clinic made us feel welcome. Dr. P. took a very detailed medical history, and we sequentially scheduled laboratory testing, imaging studies, oocyte retrieval, and embryo transfer. At every visit, Dr. P. was attentive and professional. His positive attitude and sensitivity gave us hope, and we trusted him. His knowledge was grounded in evidence-based medicine, which we never doubted. We never felt like just a number at the clinic. We developed friendly relationships with the doctor and staff. Appointments were early in the morning, which was manageable for those of us who work and exercise. Nurses and the front desk also sent reminders with detailed instructions for upcoming appointments and the timing and dosage of medications or injections. We greatly appreciated this amid our busy lives. Dr. P. gave us his personal phone number and was very approachable whenever we had questions. In November 2020, after our first IVF attempt, we welcomed a healthy first son. Two years later, we decided to have another child. We did not have to think twice about where to undergo another IVF cycle. Dr. Patounakis was the only choice we considered. The second time, we again received excellent care from Dr. P. and his team. In May 2023, we welcomed another healthy baby boy. Thanks to Dr. P. and his team, our family is complete. 🙏🏻 No amount of money could replace our happiness and joy. Dr. Patounakis and his staff make you feel safe and important. I feel spoiled now. After leaving his care, regular OB-GYN visits have been uncomfortable by comparison. It may sound strange, but Dr. P makes you feel special, like family. I do not think I have ever trusted a doctor as much as I trust him. They are extremely responsive. You can contact them with concerns 7 days a week, and by the time you drive there, they will likely see you in person. I spent 16 years experiencing one loss after another without knowing why, and now we are expecting our daughter around Christmas. I am still in shock. I cannot thank him enough for what he has done for our family. I would give more stars if I could.
