Dr. Joseph Pena, United States
Joseph Peña, MD, joined East Coast Fertility in 2004, which later became RMA of New York–Long Island. He earned his medical degree from NYU School of Medicine and completed his OB/GYN residency at Pennsylvania Hospital in Philadelphia, the oldest hospital in the United States.
Dr. Peña then completed a fellowship in reproductive endocrinology and infertility at the renowned Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons, where he remained as an assistant professor at the Center for Women's Reproductive Care. He currently serves as a clinical assistant professor of obstetrics and gynecology at the New York Institute of Technology College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Peña is board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology and reproductive endocrinology and infertility and has published extensively in peer-reviewed journals. He is a member of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine, Society for Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility, American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, and Suffolk County Obstetrics and Gynecology Society. In recent years, Dr. Peña has been named annually to the Castle Connolly Top Doctors™ and New York Super Doctors® lists.
