Dr. Eli Rybak, United States
Dr. Eli Rybak was first exposed to reproductive endocrinology during his second year of medical school and immediately chose it as his specialty. “It was love at first sight,” he says. “I was drawn to the fact that this is a field of medicine that can make a tremendous difference in a couple's life.”
Dr. Rybak is a board-certified reproductive endocrinologist and OB/GYN and serves as Clinical Assistant Professor in the Division of Reproductive Endocrinology, Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Sciences, at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. He has particular expertise and interest in polycystic ovary syndrome, unexplained infertility, menstrual disorders, fertility preservation, and preimplantation genetic diagnosis.
Dr. Rybak graduated with honors from Yeshiva University in New York with a bachelor's degree in biology. He earned his medical degree from Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and a Master of Public Health from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. Dr. Rybak completed his OB/GYN residency at Johns Hopkins, where he received the prestigious Chief Resident Award for Excellence in Gynecologic Oncology.
He completed a fellowship in reproductive endocrinology and infertility at Montefiore Medical Center and Albert Einstein College of Medicine, where he served as Assistant Clinical Professor.
In addition to his extensive medical training, Dr. Rybak holds a Master of Public Health and is an ordained Orthodox rabbi. As a rabbi, he has seen the gratitude of the Orthodox communities he serves. “We provide on-site Hashgacha, and our staff is always eager to speak with community Rabbonim and Dayonim to ensure treatment is both world-class and strictly Al Pi Halacha.”
He says working with couples seeking to become parents meaningfully combines his scientific, social, and spiritual expertise. “This field brings together many fascinating areas: embryology, genetics, reproduction, ethics, and social policy,” he says. “It also enables me to provide a unique level of care while appreciating patients' spiritual needs.”
