A fatal sentinel event was mishandled at every level. Dr. Katherine Green still wanted her money and refused a refund even though her clinic completely destroyed my large batch of embryos in a single day. Their attitude toward the duty of care was absolutely shocking. The dispute involving national media after the incident was appalling. The clinic's adversarial and incompetent approach to resolution made matters worse. Your money would be better spent leaving the state and going to a real clinic.

In 2021-2022, I went to Aurora for IVF due to male-factor infertility. Let me tell you what to expect. I called for an appointment in May 2021 and waited three months for a consultation, which was ridiculous. Afterward, they repeatedly delayed my procedures, saying they had "no time." My egg retrieval was scheduled for December 2021 but was postponed until January 2022. My frozen embryo transfer was then scheduled for March 2022 but delayed until April. Eleven months passed between the day I called for an appointment and the day of my embryo transfer. Time is crucial when dealing with infertility, so this was infuriating. Here is some advice for them: hire ultrasound technicians instead of having doctors perform ultrasounds. Perhaps that would free doctors' time so procedures would not be repeatedly delayed. I gave them three stars because I obtained one good embryo and one healthy baby. Sadly, there was only one. Two years later, I went to Advanced Fertility Center in Gurnee, Illinois, hoping for another child. I was nearly 39 and did not expect much success. Instead, I obtained three genetically normal embryos. I also waited only two weeks for a consultation. Only four months passed from the day I called for an appointment to the day of my frozen embryo transfer, not eleven. Advanced Fertility is also one of the 20 highest-rated fertility clinics in the United States. They partner with Women's Health Specialists in Appleton, an added benefit because you do not need to drive far for ultrasounds and bloodwork. But if you want to wait eleven months, go to Aurora.

Absolutely disrespectful and unfriendly. I would give 0 if I could. The women on August 17 made me feel stupid.

If you are over 35, never go there. They will only shame you for being old. It is an inefficient team with only two doctors. Without even trying, they will give you a series of hopeless opinions.

Aurora Fertility Services provided the best health care my wife and I have ever received. The entire staff is highly responsive and professional and sincerely wants every patient to succeed. IVF and infertility are difficult and frustrating, but Dr. Green and her staff made some of the hardest moments couples face much easier. We traveled a long distance to this clinic several times each month, and we would choose nowhere else.

This clinic is terrible! It begins with customer service, which was poor from the start. Appointments take too long, and the staff is rude. They only want to get you in and out without explaining anything. I received a semen analysis report, and they told me they could not help me understand the information. That makes no sense! Avoid this clinic and save yourself the stress and time. They only want to finish quickly and do not care about anything else. I would give 0 stars if I could!

Several years ago, my wife and I received treatment from Dr. Wittmaack at this fertility clinic, and the experience was excellent. He has since retired, and the new treatment approach is terrible. Here are some of the issues we encountered: - My wife had a time-sensitive ultrasound appointment for intrauterine insemination (IUI). She had to bring our daughter, who was conceived through Dr. Wittmaack's first IUI treatment. The receptionist told her that bringing a child to a fertility clinic was inconsiderate and shamed her. There were no other patients in the waiting room. My wife came home crying and deeply upset. - They force you to take medication and undergo ultrasounds. My wife did not need ovulation-stimulation injections before, but they now required them. The injections caused an ovarian cyst, so we had to pause IUI treatment for three months. They still kept 90% of our prepayment for that cycle, even though the IUI was never performed. - They treat every couple the same regardless of the cause of infertility. - After the intrauterine insemination (IUI), which was performed by a nurse because you never see a doctor outside consultations and in-person consultations are difficult to obtain, they rushed my wife to leave. She asked whether she could lie down for 15 minutes. The nurse rolled her eyes, closed the door, and returned after 5 minutes to ask whether she was ready. They quickly take your money and then push you out the door. I rarely write Google reviews, but I felt it was important to share our experience so people know there are better options. Infertility is painful, stressful, and expensive. The last thing you need is a clinic making it worse. We are now going to another fertility clinic in the Green Bay area that is better and less expensive. The doctor listens to us, respects our wishes, and does everything himself. Stay away from Aurora's fertility clinic.

I have been a patient at this clinic since late 2020. After 4 FET cycles, we have two children because of this clinic. Following two consecutive failed FET cycles, the clinic helped us determine the cause, treated me, and then helped us complete another successful FET. We will always be grateful for everything this team did to educate us and help bring our children into the world. Regarding appointment waits, which several reviews mention, this is something you can and should expect because they are one of the only fertility clinics serving the surrounding rural area. Our family drives four hours to the clinic because it is the closest one to our region. Appointments are efficient, and most of mine lasted less than 15 minutes from start to finish. However, if you have questions or need education, they always take the time to help. You simply need to advocate for yourself if you do not understand something. We would, and already do, highly recommend this team for fertility treatment.

We had to wait several months for our first appointment, which was virtual. During it, we were told our options were intrauterine insemination (IUI) or in vitro fertilization (IVF), even though we had not undergone any testing. The entire appointment focused only on what to expect from IUI or IVF. I felt pressured to choose one of these very expensive procedures without any testing or even knowing the cause. We did not continue with Aurora and went to the Kaldas Center instead.

We had an excellent experience at Aurora Bay Fertility Clinic. They were thorough and attentive, and we felt genuinely cared for. Thanks to them, we finally became pregnant. My husband and I are very grateful to the clinic for its care throughout our IVF journey. I highly recommend them.

This clinic's billing for "consultation" appointments is very deceptive. Customer service was even worse when I called with questions. If you complain, watch out for the bill to increase. My wife even contacted the nurse practitioner she saw, who also thought the charge was too high. Look elsewhere!!

Although my IVF cycle is not over yet, I already love this clinic. I just completed my first egg retrieval, and both the procedure and the preceding weeks of preparation went very smoothly. They patiently answered all my questions without judgment and clearly explained what was happening and what came next. The nurse I worked with, who also cared for me before and after the procedure, was wonderful. Brianna is very professional and makes sure you understand everything and feel at ease. I am confident I chose the right clinic and look forward to the rest of my treatment.

The best in southeastern Wisconsin! The nurses are wonderful. The doctors are experienced, knowledgeable, and compassionate. The front-desk staff are all excellent!

Compared with friends who successfully underwent IVF, this clinic is far too slow. There is delay after delay. If it will take an entire year to begin the IVF process with me, I wish you would tell me, because I would go elsewhere. Edited to add: once I finally started, it was wonderful! But it takes patience to get there, and patience is difficult during such an emotional journey!

Dr. Shanti and her team are among the most professional and responsible teams we have worked with in this country. We appreciate her directness and patience when explaining the situation and our options. Every appointment with her and the team eased our anxiety. With this team, you truly feel well cared for. It is not only Dr. Shanti; the entire team makes us feel this way at every nursing visit and even with every phone call. This team cares!

It is unfortunate that so many people have left negative reviews of this clinic and Dr. Shanti because of poor bedside manner. Dr. Shanti is a leading expert in the field. If you have experience with highly knowledgeable, extremely busy doctors in specialized fields, you understand that they do not have the time or emotional capacity to hold your hand and guide you emotionally through infertility. See a therapist for that. If you are serious about becoming pregnant and having a healthy baby, see Dr. Shanti. She is the best at this. To those who say she and the clinic care only about money: she is too busy to care whether she gets your business. Dr. Shanti has devoted her life to growing families and helping you conceive a healthy baby. She may not be the gentle, warm doctor you want, but if you have difficulty becoming pregnant, she is the doctor you need. This clinic is wonderful. Thanks to this clinic, I have two healthy babies and another 7 frozen embryos.

I work in healthcare but had no firsthand knowledge of fertility. My experience is that you need good insurance and must be able to trust your specialist. Dr. Shanti has an amazing, compassionate staff who never make mistakes. Because Dr. Racine retired, Dr. Shanti took on fertility care for all of southwestern Wisconsin. She is busy, organized, and capable, and I welcomed my first child at 41. Emotions are always difficult, but her ability—results-driven and clear about the possibilities—is first-rate.

Even if you have fairly good insurance, this place is a complete rip-off. The charge for a 30-minute video appointment is outrageous. They also never discuss cash discounts or other payment options.

Shanti's communication felt very cold and brief. She told us there was only one option available, even though we had previously been told there were alternatives. Her manner was unwelcoming, and by the end of the visit we felt uncomfortable and out of place. Although the other staff were helpful, Shanti seemed irritated when we asked questions despite inviting us to do so.

I waited three months for an appointment. On the day of the appointment, they said I would need to wait another four months to begin. Waiting so long for nothing was extremely disappointing. The doctor's attitude was appalling, and I would never recommend him.

I had many insurance problems, but the billing department did everything possible to help. Everyone here is very kind. During such an anxious and heartbreaking time with infertility, this atmosphere truly matters.

We pursued IVF at the Kenosha clinic. Our insurance does not cover fertility services, so because we were paying out of pocket, I made sure to get estimates for everything before starting. After the initial consultation, a 30-minute Zoom call, I received a $435 bill instead of the quoted $295. I called billing, assuming it was a coding error. After two months of calls and speaking with different people, I still had no answer or resolution. I was told my complaint had been "escalated" and was given a "Patients First Hotline" number to move it to the top of the list. Judging by the number of complaints they must handle and how long mine took, this bait-and-switch tactic seems standard for Aurora. Do yourself a favor and find a different healthcare provider.
