Dr. Katherine McKnight, United States


Dr. Katherine McKnight practices Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday at the CCRM Houston Main Center in Memorial City and Tuesdays at the Medical Center office.

 

Dr. McKnight is Board-Certified in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility by the American Board of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. In 2012, she joined Houston IVF and was named a “Texas Rising Star” by Super Docs in Texas Monthly Magazine in 2012, an honor repeated in 2013 and 2014. She has also been designated as a 2019 “Top Doctor” by Houstonia and 2021-2024 Castle Connolly Top Doctor. She served on the national genetics committee for the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG) and has held several leadership positions in ACOG at the district and state levels. Her clinical interests and areas of expertise include in vitro fertilization, fertility-sparing surgery, polycystic ovary syndrome, and fertility preservation.

 

She received her Baccalaureate Degree in molecular biology from the University of Washington, graduating with honors. She then attended medical school at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, with induction into the Alpha Omega Alpha National Medical Honor Society. Dr. McKnight completed residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology and a fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at the University of Alabama at Birmingham.

 

Dr. McKnight is a Fellow of the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, member of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine, and member of the Society for Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility. She has received many honors and awards including APGO Medical Education Foundation Scholars Award, Society of Laparoendoscopic Surgeons Resident Achievement Award, ACOG Future Leaders in Obstetrics and Gynecology Award, Paul C. Weinberg Award for Excellence in Women’s Health, and membership in the Alpha Omega Alpha National Medical Honor Society.

 

Dr. McKnight has published research articles in both basic science and clinical medicine peer-reviewed journals including Science and Fertility and Sterility. She has presented her research on factors affecting fertilization, ovulation induction, menopause, and maternal-fetal infections at national meetings including the American Society for Reproductive Medicine and the Society for Gynecologic Investigation.

    This was my first visit to CCRM at the Gessner location, and I must say the staff go out of their way to make you feel like their number-one patient. From reception to Dr. McKnight to the phlebotomist who drew my blood, everyone did an excellent job. I felt seen, heard, and valued. This is what healthcare needs, and CCRM is definitely doing it right!

    I came here for intrauterine insemination (IUI) at my OB-GYN's recommendation. As others have said, billing is difficult. The main reason for my average rating is that a technician ignored the latex allergy listed in my chart and inserted a latex-covered probe while examining my ovaries. I had an allergic reaction, and no one in the office understood or had anything available, such as Benadryl. I had them print my intake paperwork, where the allergy was listed. It was also in my chart; she simply ignored it. During my first visit, they checked my information and I also told them about the allergy, yet it took more than 10 minutes to find a latex-free cover. My second IUI was ultimately successful and I had a beautiful baby boy, but the lack of attention to detail is concerning.

    I think this company takes advantage of people's lack of knowledge. It is only interested in making money and makes unnecessary recommendations. Vitamin D is one of the main vitamins women need during an IVF cycle, yet the doctor never identified that my level was too low and could harm my egg quality. Many unnecessary visits were required. The doctor was never there, or at least always had something better to do. The treatment plan was very aggressive and did not even allow time for the eggs to mature. When I ordered medication, I bought what they told me to buy, which was far more than I needed. I threw away half and still have some left after spending ten thousand. When I went for the embryo transfer, the new doctor was rude and acted as though he was already done. There are countless reasons not to use this company. Worst of all, I felt truly alone and told the team I was experiencing severe depression. They told me it was not the doctor's job to help with depression. If you are reading this, choose someone else; that company is terrible. They received $20,000 and still wanted more money, even charging for things that did not happen. IVF is the only business in the world where patients pay for failure, like the ninth circle of hell. CCRM is a hellish place where doctors walk around in beautiful $1,000 shoes and prey on vulnerable people.

    Update: 7 months later, they still will not remove charges for services we did not receive. I called to speak with the business manager as instructed in the response below, but they either do not return calls or always send me to voicemail. They are all scammers and liars. ———— Beware!! Worst service ever. They are money grabbers. They charged us for services they did not provide. We contacted them, but they would not remove the charges. Please stay away.

    From beginning to end, my husband and I had a very positive experience with the CCRM team. Dr. Zhou, Allie, and the entire CCRM team were wonderful. The front desk and nursing teams were always welcoming. The entire team is very thorough and proactive in ensuring that you understand what is happening at every step of the journey, providing options when available, and showing compassion throughout. Unlike some reviews I have seen, I found that my care team was always very responsive through the Salve app and by phone when needed. You do not see your doctor at every visit, but you see the doctor when it matters. With so many women coming for blood tests and ultrasounds every morning, it would not make sense to see the doctor every time. It is much faster for staff to perform routine monitoring. I personally appreciated this and was consistently able to get to work early, with appointments always at 7:30 a.m., instead of facing the scheduling nightmare of seeing a specific doctor every day during daily or alternate-day appointments. I would add that because the timing of egg retrievals/transfers is very sensitive, there is no guarantee that all your procedures will fall on days when your doctor is working. The CCRM team prioritizes the timing most likely to produce a successful outcome rather than dates and times when your doctor is available. I personally agree with this approach. Dr. McKnight performed my egg retrieval, and I had a positive experience with her. Dr. Zhou performed my transfer and was excellent as always. I would recommend this team to anyone beginning a fertility journey! Background: My husband and I came to CCRM for IVF and achieved my first pregnancy.

    My experience at CCRM Houston was very positive. We hoped IVF would succeed, and it did. Regardless of our transfer result, I am grateful to Dr. Hickman and his staff. Our doctor and nurses, including Nurse Sonia and everyone who helped, were knowledgeable and helpful. Dr. Hickman was present throughout my treatment. He listened to and remembered all our concerns. I was also able to meet and speak with the embryologist before egg retrieval. Communication about our results was direct and consistent. If you want an honest review from someone who has undergone IVF with CCRM and elsewhere, I strongly recommend trusting CCRM Houston and Dr. Hickman.

    The full cycle, from egg retrieval through embryo transfer and genetic testing, cost $30,000, but produced only 1 good embryo and the transfer failed. Although I know that is not their fault, my concern is communication and lack of information. My previous doctor was kind, but Dr. Nodler, whom I began seeing, did not provide much detail. He simply asked whether I had any questions. He answered basic questions as far as I knew, but offered no further details unless I asked. After spending $30,000 and retrieving only 1 good embryo, I learned that frozen eggs have a low chance of developing into embryos. Had I known, retrieving more would have seemed advisable, but he never explained the odds. I retrieved 8 eggs and thought that was enough. He did not tell me about either the low chance of eggs developing into embryos or the 30–40% chance of success after embryo transfer. I regret learning this only now. In terms of cost, Texas and CCRM are among the most expensive. Clinics in other states charge about one-third as much, with full cycles costing $6,000 to $10,000 rather than $30,000. Research carefully before choosing a clinic, and select a doctor who cares about patients, because Dr. Nodler showed no concern and provided no information. Most importantly, I underwent a hysteroscopy and was told to take Tylenol because it would involve only ‘mild cramping.’ Again, they did not explain that it could be extremely painful or that I could choose general anesthesia instead of Tylenol. It was an excruciating experience that caused shock and vomiting. They had to stop and reschedule the procedure with anesthesia. Again, this was due to the lack of information provided to the patient. Dr. Nodler transferred to Seattle, and Dr. Zhou handled the final part. He was more caring and at least provided information about my transfer, which was my final step. If I could go back, I would have done this in Mexico because successful implantation may require multiple transfers and cycles, and unfortunately that is ‘normal.’ Success on the first transfer is extremely rare, which I did not know before. Colorado, Arizona, and even New York have less expensive fertility clinics. You need to do your research.

    I went for a consultation, and everyone was very kind. The woman who drew my blood was highly professional and made me feel comfortable. The financial counselor was also excellent and answered all my questions! Dr. Hickman was very knowledgeable and made me feel much more at ease about my upcoming IVF journey.     This is an excellent fertility clinic. The people and facilities are outstanding and absolutely worth the visit. They restored my hope of having children in the future. Dr. Hickman is a wonderful physician who listens carefully, creates thoughtful treatment plans, and always makes time for questions. What truly makes this frustrating process bearable, however, is his nursing team, especially Allison. She genuinely cares about her work and patients, answers every question within hours, even seemingly silly ones, and always offers a solution or sound advice. Every procedure nurse is calm, professional, and able to maintain a sense of humor during stressful moments. They are knowledgeable and put you at ease before procedures. Honestly, I never had an unpleasant encounter with any nurse or doctor. The clinic is clean, spacious, and efficient; I never waited more than 10 minutes. I would wholeheartedly recommend this clinic to any friend needing fertility care.

    If you are considering this clinic, stay far away. I was referred to them through CHOICE SURROGACY, which I absolutely do not recommend—please read my review of them—when I was a gestational surrogate/prospective surrogate. They received my medical records on behalf of a couple whom I had agreed to consider as intended parents. They ordered birth control pills from my pharmacy and instructed me to begin taking them immediately. A few days later, they abruptly changed their minds and claimed I had adenomyosis, which I do not. The intended parents were devastated, and the clinic's conduct was appalling. I paid for a pelvic ultrasound and a transvaginal MRI myself, and both confirmed that I did not have adenomyosis. I never heard from the clinic again. Choice Surrogacy also stopped responding after I requested an update and reimbursement for these completely unnecessary expenses. I am writing this review to warn all intended parents and surrogates/prospective surrogates about the terrible experience they may face if they choose these two organizations. They wasted a great deal of my time and money. Read all the negative and recent reviews carefully because they are very revealing. The clinic's responses you see are performative, superficial, and false. They do not care; they are greedy and disgusting.

    For my second cycle, I’ll do more research and choose a fertility clinic that doesn’t operate like a factory. The facility is beautiful, the phlebotomists and most nurses were amazing. Still, I felt like just a number at the most vulnerable moment of my life. Also, don’t expect to be educated on anything. I asked for all my results to be uploaded to the patient portal so that I can run them through ChatGPT. Understand that their cost breakdown does not include egg transfer if you are successful. As I said, the next cycle, I’ll look for a clinic that is more private. Care, concern, and attentiveness should be top priority.

    Dr. Zhou is amazing! I waited nine months to write this review, until my daughter was born. We had infertility while trying for our second child. We even went to Costa Rica for an IVF transfer because we did not want to wait for insurance coverage in the U.S. Although our Costa Rica experience was good, CCRM's medical care was much better. Dr. Zhou was always proactive and patiently explained everything. CCRM was excellent overall, but I strongly recommend seeing Dr. Zhou if possible. We will return when we try for our third child!

    I'm sad to write this review as I walked in so hopeful to CCRM and to work with Dr. McKnight. The clinic itself is pretty and clean, and my nurse Lizzy was always kind. CCRM may be a top notch Houston clinic, but remember, you are a number here in the revolving door of women. If you have success here, I'm sure you would describe your experience as amazing. My visits were easy, quick, and on time. Dr. McKnight was lovely upon meeting.. but, if you are looking for a doctor who thinks outside the box for you, or who will take a minute out of her day to check in after not one, not two, but THREE failed embryo transfers.. she is not for you. I found myself asking Google or ChatGPT for recommendations, what labs to ask for, or what procedures to ask about because I got such little recommended to me. I deserved more. For the insane amount of money, time, and energy I spent, I deserved more. Since deciding to move clinics, I've had consults with two other fertility specialists. I felt I had more support, guidance, and encouragement in those 30 minute meetings than I had in my year at CCRM. This was just my experience, and I know many will continue to have success here. For those who haven't and want more, don't second guess, make a change.

    If I could do it over, I would never come here again. I chose CCRM because my OB-GYN recommended Dr. McKnight. I will admit that they move things along quickly in the morning so you can get to work, but this also means you do not receive attentive care from the doctor. Everything felt rushed on the day of surgery. I could tell the doctor wanted to finish my procedure as quickly as possible. She pushed me toward the restroom while holding my IV pole, and I was confused about why she was doing it instead of my nurse. I did not even have time to say goodbye to my husband, who was equally confused about why I was being rushed. In the operating room, she spoke only to the staff, told them to hurry, and asked whether anyone knew the schedule. As a patient lying on an operating table in a cold room, hearing this made me nervous that she might rush through my procedure too. I am also a healthcare professional who regularly performs procedures, and I always try not to rush. My egg count was disappointing. I had been told to expect 10 eggs, then after the procedure I was told there were 14, which sounded promising and suggested more might mature. The next day, however, the number dropped to 9. With all the injections, pain, and stress—especially on the day of surgery—I was deeply disappointed by the level of care from this clinic's staff. Honestly, I feel they have lost their passion and replaced it with corporate financial interests.

    My egg retrieval experience at CCRM was terrible and heartbreaking! I honestly expected more from doctors with extensive experience in this field. During my second IVF cycle, I produced about ten follicles. I attended every stimulation monitoring appointment and received positive feedback, with no indication of any follicle problems. All 10 were mature. The night before retrieval, I was told that a doctor I did not know would perform the procedure. Such short notice was shocking and unsettling because during my previous appointments with my doctor, Dr. Nodler, no one had ever mentioned that a different doctor might perform the retrieval, even though I had been his patient for several months. About 20 minutes before retrieval, Dr. Rashmi Kudesia came to my bedside and introduced herself. She was not very warm or welcoming and seemed rushed. After the procedure, she returned to check my vital signs. I asked how many eggs had been retrieved, and she said she did not know and would have to ask the nurse, which was shocking. When the nurse returned, she told me 3 eggs had been retrieved. I asked what had happened to the others. She said I should ask the doctor because she did not know how I could have 10 mature follicles but only 3 eggs retrieved, then went to find the doctor. When the doctor returned, she essentially explained that unexpected difficulties meant the retrieval had not gone as planned. She also said she had not received my patient records, so she did not know about my previous retrieval 1 month earlier, my fibroids, or the position of my ovaries. My doctor, Dr. Nodler, had not passed this information to her. Dr. Nodler said the procedure should have taken only 15 minutes but took her 45 minutes, which was unprecedented. He said he had performed the procedure for many years and had never needed 45 minutes, regardless of unexpected events. Needless to say, my dream of becoming a mother was shattered. From everything that happened, I knew I would not have any viable embryos at the end of the process. I ultimately received the devastating news that the retrieved eggs could not be fertilized. After I discussed my procedural concerns with Dr. Nodler, he said he would contact the practice director, Priya Ramankrishnan. The practice director then contacted me and, because of the complications, offered another egg retrieval funded by CCRM. She said they would pay only for the procedure and I would have to pay medication costs out of pocket. After considering the offer, I decided the medication was too expensive and I was afraid to undergo the procedure again. I was in severe pain after Dr. Kudesia's procedure and no longer trusted them at all. I did not want to write a review, but I feel women need to understand CCRM's procedural practices. I have been depressed ever since and would not want anyone to experience this pain. When choosing a fertility clinic, do your due diligence and conduct thorough research; your life, health, and family's future depend on it.

    They rescheduled once with email notifications and my permission. I went to the office on the rescheduled date, and they had actually rescheduled me again without my permission or email notification. Going to the clinic was pointless. If patients are charged when they fail to download the app two days beforehand or do not appear, which clinic will compensate patients? The receptionist did not even apologize. Instead, she said passive-aggressively, “Yes, ma'am...” with a very rude and discriminatory attitude.

    I previously posted a review and deleted it because I wanted to complete the entire process. We are now 5 months pregnant, and these are my takeaways from working with CCRM. Overall, most staff are wonderful, but communication is lacking. Our biggest issue was receiving notice when payments were due. They make you sign many documents, and yes, most of the information is there, but it is easy to miss. They do not explain it clearly at the beginning, only when documents are sent. Finally, once you are pregnant, I recommend skipping follow-up ultrasounds. Had I known we would pay extra, I would have gone directly to my OB. They are not included in the total price, and we spoke only with the sonographer, so we learned nothing about many aspects of early pregnancy. Skip this part and schedule your first OB appointment instead.

    Freezing eggs is an extremely empowering experience. My initial experience with CCRM was excellent, but I am deeply disappointed by the practice's lack of professionalism and communication. After 2 months and more than 20 calls and voicemails to management without a response, I am sharing my experience here in hopes of sparing someone similar stress. After the second year of freezing, storage rose from $600 to $1300 with almost no explanation. I understand prices increase, but the main facility said this price came directly from CCRM. I called billing and left multiple messages requesting discussion, with no return call. I spoke with a nurse, operator, and neighboring CCRM, who said they would message clinic manager 'Priya,' but she never called. She was always 'in a meeting.' My bill was due last week, yet I could not reach anyone to discuss payment, specimen safety, or possible transfer. This caused serious distrust regarding storage and management of my valuable oocytes. My treatment as a patient was terrible. I am a doctor, and I would be ashamed if my clinic operated this way. Although Dr. Nodler did excellent work freezing my eggs, save your energy and go elsewhere.

    CCRM feels like family, like family away from home. Every visit has felt welcoming, and my family and I have always felt at ease. When Dr. Nodler moved, I had to change providers and chose Dr. Hickman. He was wonderful and made the transition to his care seamless, with no uncertainty or worry. Senae, my RN IVF coordinator, is an excellent communicator who keeps me informed about schedules, changes, appointments, and more.     We ultimately left the clinic because of poor communication and unexpected bills. As a same-sex couple, we felt less important because they were not making substantial money from us through IVF. After problems arose, I posted on social media to see whether anyone else had used their services. Several friends said they had already left and that this was merely a fertility center, so we also decided to leave before starting a cycle. Several concerning things happened before we began a cycle, and fortunately we did not proceed. I asked a simple question about AMH results and received a portal reply asking whether we would agree to a quick 5-minute video call. We agreed, connected, and spoke for less than 5 minutes while she merely repeated the portal message. That evening, we unexpectedly received a $90 bill. Once they discover your insurance covers nothing and you must self-pay, good luck. They will extract every possible dollar from you. Our friends saw Dr. McKnight, and immediately before anesthesia for her egg retrieval, she met a male doctor she had never seen before. They were too far into the process to do anything, which made me very uncomfortable. I was angry for them. Dr. Nodler was wonderful, but he later left. The staff were difficult to communicate with and took too long to reply through the portal. They only began communicating after we said we were leaving, but by then it was too late and trust had broken down. Our current clinic is SGF, where we conceived on our first attempt, and they have been very transparent about costs, shipping fees, and everything else. I know CCRM has success stories, but if something feels wrong, do your research and trust your instincts.

    I initially saw Dr. Nodler, who moved to another city and is no longer at this clinic. My experience with him was fine until I realized I knew nothing because he had explained nothing. At the beginning, I did not know my chances of success, my AMH level, and so on; no information was provided. He would ask, "Do you have any questions?" but I only had basic questions because I did not understand the process. After my transfer failed, I did more research through ChatGPT and Facebook groups, then consulted another doctor who explained the CCRM records I showed him. After the failed transfer, the CCRM doctor did not even call me. I only received a message from a nurse saying the result was negative and that I could schedule another consultation, which I would have to pay for to fully understand what happened. I found that ridiculous. I also had a hysteroscopy that was extremely painful and performed without anesthesia because they said I would have mild to moderate cramping. When they stopped, my whole body went into shock, I nearly vomited, and both hands cramped into fists for several minutes. They then said they would need to reschedule it under anesthesia and still charged me part of the fee. Why did they not mention that it could be very painful and let me choose whether I wanted anesthesia? This all reflects their lack of detailed communication. My frozen eggs produced only 1 embryo, and the transfer failed. One complete cycle at CCRM cost me $30,000, or $35,000 with medications and other expenses. At CNY Fertility in Houston, one cycle costs $6,000 to $10,000, compared with the $35,000 I spent at CCRM! They even offer a guaranteed-success program starting at $20,000 for 6 complete cycles with unlimited transfers. If you are paying out of pocket, I recommend a clinic that charges much less and provides more detailed information.

    From the start of my care at CCRM, I felt supported, understood, and genuinely cared for. Everyone I met was kind, respectful, and extremely helpful. My nurse Emily was my emotional anchor throughout the process. She calmed my anxiety countless times and answered every question patiently, thoughtfully, and warmly. When my original doctor, Dr. Nodler, moved to Chicago, I transferred to Dr. Zhou, who was excellent. The transition was seamless because she already knew my history and treatment goals. She listened carefully, cared about me, and was fully present at every visit. Everyone at CCRM deserves recognition, from the welcoming front desk and laboratory team to my sonographer Karen, who always made me feel at home. No matter how anxious or discouraged I felt, every interaction was positive and supportive. CCRM completed all necessary testing and gave thoughtful guidance on improving egg quality. I always felt they were beside me and was never left alone or helpless. They encouraged us, believed we would succeed, and celebrated every milestone with us. I am deeply grateful to CCRM for helping us achieve this. I do not know whether it would have been possible without them. I wholeheartedly recommend CCRM to anyone struggling with fertility.     I just called CCRM about embryo freezing, and the experience was so terrible it was almost absurd. I had nearly chosen this clinic because I live nearby. I carefully reviewed all the information on their website. Although I can pay upfront, I did not want to spend money blindly without understanding all my options. I therefore called to schedule a consultation with the ‘financial counselor’ advertised on their website to discuss the self-pay discount, also listed online, and other options because my employer-sponsored insurance does not cover the service. The ‘financial counselor’ bluntly told me that ‘all the information is on the website.’ I pointed out that the website only listed the total price and was vague about payment plans, but she simply repeated herself. When I said, ‘Can you at least give me a rough estimate?’ she hung up on me. In only two minutes, I understood exactly how this clinic operates. Unless patients are merely sources of revenue—or you do not understand your own job—you do not treat people this way for asking reasonable financial questions. It left me with the strong impression that the clinic is willing to exploit vulnerable patients who are eager for results. Needless to say, I will never use this clinic.

    Overall, my experience with CCRM was good, although my fertility journey there was brief because personal circumstances required me to transfer to another facility. We are still waiting for reimbursement for an insurance-covered service from a month and a half ago, and I feel I have to communicate more proactively with the billing department rather than wait for them.     If you are serious about your fertility journey, do not waste your time here. We scheduled meetings to review test results, but when the meetings occurred, the doctor did not even know I had completed the tests she ordered. The staff were more concerned about insurance fees than the standard of care they provided. Yes, your questions will be answered, but that is all. This was a serious waste of my time. Good luck, but if you want to be more than a number, this would not be my first stop.

    We had a terrible experience here. We were told our insurance covered everything except the amount we paid. We completed 3 full fertility treatments, then were told we were not covered and had to repay thousands of dollars. Had we known this the first time, we would not have completed the next two treatments. We underwent IUI and expressed concerns about timing because we felt they missed our window every time, but they did not listen and used the same timing approach each time. After the entire experience, we decided to try at home and conceived on our first attempt. A nurse also told my partner she might have infertility or polyps and said we might be unable to conceive without a very expensive and painful procedure, which fortunately we did not undergo. After the initial consultation, we never saw or met the doctor despite multiple appointments over several months. Worse, more than a year later we just received a new ultrasound bill that we had been told was paid! I now constantly worry that another bill will arrive. This ultimately became the worst decision of our lives.

    I would give zero stars if I could. They kept changing my appointment and rescheduled it twice. The second time, I asked whether my preferred date was available and whether the doctor could see me in person, and they said yes. As the second appointment approached, they gave another inexplicable excuse. I decided not to deal with them anymore. Very unprofessional. They do not care about new patients’ schedules, only what is convenient for them. Do not go to this clinic for fertility treatment. Fortunately, my OB-GYN recommended other fertility centers that respect new patients’ appointment times. I work full-time and cannot keep losing time, or risk losing my job, because they repeatedly cancel appointments.

    I have been extremely satisfied with my experience at CCRM over the past year as they guided me through my fertility journey. Infertility is deeply painful. At other clinics, I felt like just one patient among many, but CCRM was different. Shawna, Amanda, Dr. Kudesia, and all the women at the clinic supported me throughout.     This was our first visit to CCRM in The Woodlands. A friend referred us, and they did not disappoint. They provided all the tools and resources we needed to choose what suited our family and clearly listed the prices and fertility treatments we would need. The overall experience was excellent, very friendly, and to the point! I cannot wait to begin my journey with them!

    When I arrived, the staff were very kind and told me what I needed to do. I did not wait long to see the doctor. Dr. Beth Zhou was very kind and knowledgeable. She addressed all my concerns and questions and explained the entire situation thoroughly using different scenarios. I was impressed by how well I understood everything she told me because she made it very easy for a nonmedical person to understand. I felt comfortable there and cannot wait to return for my next appointment. I definitely recommend CCRM Fertility of Houston at 1001 Medical Plaza Dr ste 290. Shenandoah, Texas 77380

    When I began this journey, I had almost no hope. After so many years, we finally had the opportunity to try a fertility clinic. We were referred to CCRM, and I was nervous when we met our doctor, Beth Zhou! She was very kind and explained every question or concern in detail. She made us feel at home. Once we started, every wonderful woman working in this office became family. ❤️ They always answered quickly when I had questions ☺️ and encouraged me with their words when I felt low. Our first intrauterine insemination (IUI) failed, but they did not give up on us, so we began another cycle. Thankfully, our little miracle happened on the second attempt, and I am approaching 8 weeks. 🙏🏻 This is a blessing, and none of it would have been possible without my CCRM girls ✨ I owe them my happiness. Thank you to my girl Allie for helping me hold my head high and always being available for every question or concern. You are amazing! Thank you to sweet Keisha for always drawing my blood ☺️ You are wonderful! My dear Natalie, thank you for always helping me understand the finances and always having a smile on your beautiful face! 😏 My little tech Edith, thank you for always being gentle with Ms. Wanda.     Dr. Zhou and her team, especially Allie, have been outstanding from day one. My husband and I left our original fertility clinic, Aspire, because they never took time to treat me as a patient; it was only about money. We transferred our care to CCRM and found the best fertility doctor, Dr. Zhou. She truly takes time and shows compassion, making me feel one in a million during treatment, and her nurse Allie has been incredible. Allie goes above and beyond to ensure I receive excellent care and everything needed throughout all three embryo transfers. We also cannot forget Keisha, the amazing lab technician at The Woodlands office and the kindest soul. The entire team is wonderful, as is everyone else at The Woodlands clinic! I cannot praise them enough. Thank you so much, doctor and team. My journey continues, but we will get through it together!

    I had the best experience with all the staff. They truly respect your time and schedule visits efficiently so your daily life is not disrupted. They make you feel very welcome and comfortable. I highly recommend them to anyone who needs their services.

    We had our first appointment yesterday, and it was wonderful! Dr. Zhou was very kind and explained the entire process. She also helped me understand my PCOS better and ways to manage it! We eagerly look forward to starting our journey with CCRM.

    I had the best experience at CCRM Fertility! Dr. Beth Zhou and Allie were kind and compassionate. They listened to my concerns and were surrounded by excellent providers who helped create a plan suited to my fertility journey. Both were very thoughtful, ensured all my questions were answered quickly, and even talked me down several times when fear and anxiety overwhelmed me! I highly recommend this practice!

    Dr. Zhou, Allie, and the entire CCRM team are wonderful. I mainly visited the Gessner office but sometimes went to the Woodlands office because Dr. Zhou is there most of the week. The entire team is very thorough and proactive in ensuring you understand what is happening at every step, providing options when available, and showing compassion throughout. I would recommend this team to anyone beginning a fertility journey. Background: My husband and I came to CCRM for IVF and achieved my first pregnancy.

    I completed egg freezing a few days ago and had an excellent experience with CCRM. My consultation with Dr. Zhou went smoothly. She outlined the process, answered difficult questions, and managed expectations. What I liked most about CCRM was how seamless the offices were. Dr. Zhou was my doctor and managed my protocol, labs, and medications, while I could complete laboratory work and ultrasounds at the Sugar Land office just minutes from my home. All staff were friendly and very helpful. Clinical nurse Ellie was a major help throughout, from advice on when to order medication to tips for faster recovery after retrieval. Dr. Zhou and her team truly made a frightening process more manageable.

    The staff were nice. I was with them for less than two weeks, never saw a doctor except by telemedicine more than a month earlier, and had two canceled cycles. Older women with low egg reserve should research carefully before coming here.

    I have been seeing Dr. McKnight for two years and am so grateful that she never gave up and always listened patiently to every concern. After a long fertility journey and many efforts to understand what was happening, she ultimately helped us conceive. She consistently researched and found different ways to help us.     HIPPA violation Indifferent Lacked empathy Told me to stop after one cycle Did not call with my results; I learned them an hour after surgery Dr. McKnightmare: I encourage every patient to read the negative reviews. The hysteroscopy was unnecessary and painful, and they should have made the examination comfortable. Second, she told me not to try again after one cycle because I had pain after retrieval. They try to convince patients that pain is abnormal and their own fault. She waited until she had been paid and the procedure was complete before telling us not to try again. This doctor does not care about her patients. She is only there to drive her Audi and take other people's money. Dr. McKnight is like the spoiled, mean girl everyone hated in high school. Her ego comes first. Because she did not succeed, she blamed me. A doctor should never tell someone with a normal cycle not to try again. Finally, she disclosed another patient's private information by telling me that the patient also obtained no eggs. This violates HIPPA.

    The staff were excellent, and the treatment was very good. Even when things did not go as hoped, they never made you feel guilty. They are highly professional and competent. We were very satisfied with everything. Thank you all so much. Waiting for a positive result 🥰🥰🥰

    Dr. McKnight herself was excellent during my consultation. Her staff, especially the nurses, were terrible. There was no follow-up, and I have now moved to another practice with excellent staff. This is an emotional and sensitive time in people's lives, and the organization should recognize that. I work in healthcare myself; I provide and expect better care.

    Dr. McKnight performed surgery on me before I began my IVF cycle at CCRM. She was not my primary CCRM doctor, but that made no difference. I received the same level of care as from my own doctor. Before surgery, she came to see me and answered all my questions and concerns. She is an exceptionally kind doctor whose smile brightens your day.
