Dr. Michael Sobel, United States
Dr. Sobel is a board-certified reproductive endocrinologist and infertility specialist who joined the Cooper Institute for Reproductive Hormonal Disorders in January 2021. He attended Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences and graduated in 1984 with a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree. After completing his obstetrics and gynecology residency at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, he completed clinical and research fellowships in reproductive endocrinology at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia. After his fellowship,
Dr. Sobel remained at Jefferson as an assistant professor in the Division of Reproductive Endocrinology. Most recently, he was part of a reproductive medicine group in the Philadelphia metropolitan area. He has practiced and taught reproductive medicine for more than 30 years. He has published in peer-reviewed journals and has been invited to lecture to colleagues. In 2010, the American College of Osteopathic Obstetricians and Gynecologists recognized him with the title of Distinguished Fellow.
