Dr. Gad Lavy, United States
Gad Lavy, MD, F.A.C.O.G., is medical director and founder of New England Fertility (NEF), Connecticut's first non-hospital outpatient in vitro fertilization (IVF) center. Dr. Lavy trained at Hadassah Medical School of the Hebrew University in Israel and completed his residency at Yale University School of Medicine in New Haven, Connecticut, where he served on the obstetrics and gynecology faculty.
Before founding New England Fertility in 1991, Dr. Lavy spent four years as an assistant professor in Yale University School of Medicine's Division of Reproductive Endocrinology and served as director of Yale's assisted reproduction program.
Dr. Lavy is board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology and reproductive endocrinology. In addition to serving as medical director of New England Fertility, he is on the obstetrics and gynecology medical staff at Stamford Hospital in Stamford, Connecticut. Dr. Lavy is a member of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine and the Society of Reproductive Surgeons, and is an internationally recognized speaker and writer on infertility, assisted reproductive technology (ART), gestational surrogacy, and egg donation.
