Consider going elsewhere. They have serious billing, safety, and customer service problems: 1) Over 4 months, no one took a complete set of vital signs. 2) Although I was given medication that affects weight, they never weighed me in the office. When I asked, Dr. Gelety said they did not have a scale. 3) Dr. Gelety spoke with my husband and me during our initial consultation, but during later visits he made statements and recommendations that clearly showed he did not remember who I was or what my care plan was. 4) I communicated mostly by email with Savannah. When I needed a timely medication refill, she did not reply for several days. She blamed me for the delay because I had included her name in the email. She said that because of HIPAA, no one else in the office could handle her patients' information when she was away. As a nurse, I know this is not true. Someone must cover your inbox when you are away to ensure continuity of care and patients' access to what they need. Healthcare should not stop because you are on vacation or sick. 5) When I asked a staff member for a medical explanation of why the medication made me feel so unwell and caused such severe pain, she replied, 'It makes your ovaries go crazy,' or words to that effect. This was an inadequate and disturbing nonmedical response. 6) I mainly emailed them because every time I called, they put me on hold, and after 5 or 10 minutes I would give up. No one returned to help me. When I complained, the receptionist was rude. 7) When I told the billing representative, Richelle, which insurance was primary, she did not believe me. The reason they could not get paid was that they did not follow my insurer's rules. I argued with her for weeks, but she continued submitting claims to an insurer under which I had no coverage. When the claims were denied, she threatened to charge me out of pocket. This caused considerable stress because it would have been a severe and unnecessary financial burden, as I did have insurance. 8) After she corrected her mistake, my bill was still incorrect; they tried to charge me $115 more than I actually owed. 9) My cycle has not been the same since I stopped the medication they prescribed. I have no conclusive evidence, but I believe the medication harmed my fertility and that my chance of pregnancy is now lower than before I began seeing Dr. Gelety. 10) Neither Dr. Gelety nor his staff educated me about the medication they prescribed or its side effects. There were no handouts and no educational discussion with the doctor or staff. I started taking it, and when I began feeling unwell and having problems, I did all my own research to understand what was happening. I am extremely disappointed with this place. It caused major disruption to my health and life.

It was a pleasure working with Dr. Gelety and his team. In February 2021, we were blessed with a beautiful baby girl... thanks to this outstanding team.

We worked with Dr. Gelety in 2016 and will always be grateful for our now 6-year-old joy. We transferred from another doctor after having no success and feeling that the previous doctor lacked compassion. The staff were good and could quickly accommodate us when needed. If we decide to pursue IVF again, we will definitely return here!

Your staff and clinic are among the friendliest I have visited. I initially started with ARI, but after they closed, I transferred to AZCenterforREI, and I would not change a thing. Fertility is a very sensitive area, and Dr. Gelety and his staff make sure you feel comfortable and cared for.

I will always be grateful to Dr. Gelety. After trying to have a child for 13 years, I finally had my rainbow baby. I had given up hope, but thanks to a friend who recommended Dr. Gelety, my dream finally came true. Dr. Gelety explained the treatment details and the procedures his clinic could provide. I truly appreciated that we first tried a natural approach and would move to other treatments only if nothing happened. My daughter is now 5 years old, and I am so glad I went to Dr. Gelety. His staff are wonderful and always answer any questions. Thank you, Dr. Gelety and staff! Never give up trying for a baby; it is worth it.

I truly love this clinic and felt cared for. The staff were wonderful and supportive. Dr. Gelety performed endometriosis surgery, and I became pregnant soon afterward. After trying on our own for five years and receiving clinical treatment for a year and a half, I conceived through IVF. My son is happy and healthy, and my husband and I are thrilled finally to have a little boy in our family. If we decide to try again, we will return here.

The only doctor I found who was willing to listen and try to help with my condition.

0 successes. After 7 failed intrauterine inseminations, we gave up. The doctor never tried anything different and could not even remember how many cycles we had completed. I do not know how many more he would have continued. It was the same thing repeatedly. I wish I had left sooner because my new clinic performed additional blood tests, found diagnoses I did not know about, and is providing more help. I hope I succeed here. This was only a waste of money.

I do not usually write reviews, but this experience felt important to share with anyone considering this clinic. I was a patient of Dr. Gelety for approximately one and a half to two years and underwent multiple unsuccessful IUI and IVF treatments. Looking back, I genuinely believe much of this was due to his lack of expertise with treatment processes and protocols. During visits, I often felt I was not receiving the detail and precision that fertility care requires. His bedside manner was also extremely disappointing. He seemed cold and detached, and several times during treatment I had to remind him why I was there and what treatment I was receiving. That alone made me lose confidence in the level of care he provided. On several occasions, while waiting for him, I could hear him shouting at staff, creating a very uncomfortable and unprofessional atmosphere. The administrative service was equally frustrating. The woman responsible for billing was consistently rude and unprofessional, with no compassion for patients under tremendous emotional and financial strain. After nearly two years, I finally realized something was wrong and sought care elsewhere. I found a doctor in Scottsdale and restarted IVF in January 2025. With a completely different level of care, attention, and expertise, my first transfer succeeded in July 2025. This experience made it clear how poor my previous care had been. Fertility treatment is too important to accept substandard service. I strongly encourage anyone considering this clinic to evaluate all available options carefully.

I went to Dr. Gelety for IVF and wasted thousands of dollars. He made no effort, never answered any questions, and only cared about collecting money. He had me buy twice the amount of ovarian stimulation medication, and I felt terrible because the dose was so high. Later, he said they had made a mistake and that I needed to buy more medication. During the transfer, he did not even wear protective clothing, and the hygiene was poor. I would give zero stars. Do not waste your money there. They do not want to help you; they only want to make money. I later underwent IVF with Dr. Mayte in Mexicali, and the experience was completely different. They were very kind, answered questions, and offered different packages. They wore protective clothing during the transfer, and everything was very clean. I recommend them 100%. Only one egg was retrieved on the first attempt, and now I have my baby boy 💙. Please listen to the reviews and travel carefully.

Anyone considering this clinic should read this review! Several years ago, my husband and I first visited this clinic for intrauterine insemination (IUI). Dr. Galletti seemed very cold, did not listen to our explanation, and did not take our concerns seriously. We took a break and went to another clinic several years later. That clinic closed one year after we began treatment, so we needed either a local clinic or one in Phoenix. Options in Tucson were limited, and another clinic had a long wait because of the influx of patients after our former clinic closed. We returned to Dr. Galletti's clinic, which I deeply regret. It was completely different from our previous clinic. The most important issue was how IVF egg retrievals and transfers were performed. The room was not sterile at all. At our previous clinic, doctors and staff wore full protective clothing, hair covers, and shoe covers, and the room was fully sterile. For embryo transfer, my husband had to wear full surgical attire, a hair cover, and shoe covers. None of this occurred at Dr. Galletti's clinic, where people walked freely in and out. No one, including Dr. Galletti, wore surgical attire or a hair cover, and nothing was sterilized. This absolutely affects IVF success rates; sterilization is extremely important, as I now understand. The equipment was very old and dirty. The staff were rude, turnover was high, and employees did not stay long. I believe the woman in the back office was named Jackie, and she was the rudest, nastiest person I have ever met. She confirms prices with you in the back office and has no customer service skills. This is especially unacceptable when patients come for something as vulnerable as fertility treatment and spend thousands of dollars. No one should be treated this way. I sincerely advise anyone considering treatment at Dr. Galletti's clinic to go elsewhere, even if it requires traveling!!! You can avoid wasting thousands of dollars and receive genuinely better care and results!!!

About two or three years ago, after my previous doctor moved from Tucson to Gilbert, I started seeing Dr. Gelety. We had discussed my condition and medical history beforehand, so he should have known that I was not a candidate for IUI and could only do IVF. Because of this, I missed my only opportunity to have an egg retrieval with Dr. Gelety. He came into the room and started talking to me about IUI. I was confused because I could not do IUI, and this should have been documented in my chart. When he then told me it was too late for an egg retrieval, I completely broke down. They cleared several of my bills, thinking that would make everything fine. But if not for their mistakes, I might already have a child. Second, after my failed egg retrieval, staff and former patients talked endlessly in the waiting room about having children. I found this extremely insensitive. Why do that when you do not know what the patients waiting there are going through as they try to become parents? Look elsewhere. Third, Richelle was extremely rude, cold, and completely unaware of her surroundings. One day, she had a broken leg and was rolling around the hallway in an office chair as though it were entertaining. I am sorry her leg was broken, but this is a fertility clinic, and she did not need to wave at distressed patients in the waiting room while rolling down the hall. Finally, I kept owing them money—for what!? For wasting my time, energy, and money!? My fiancé and I found my previous doctor, who is a two-hour drive from our home, and we are so glad we did. The only results from my five-year fertility journey have come from my former and current doctor, Dr. Mark Johnson in Gilbert, not Dr. Gelety. My current doctor has repeatedly tried to obtain information from Gelety's office without receiving a response. After I called angrily, I learned they did not have the information needed. That is fine, but they should have told me from the start so I could have contacted the right person sooner. I am now having them release my samples to my current doctor, and despite knowing for two weeks that I was coming, they were clearly unprepared. The front desk asked whether Richelle wanted to speak with me, and the answer was apparently a rude “no,” because the receptionist laughed and Richelle never spoke to me. Gelety's office may seem fine at first and may be more affordable, but stay away. They are rude, chaotic, disorganized, and uncaring. Go elsewhere.

Completely unprofessional. They never answer the phone. How can a doctor miss the opportunity for egg retrieval and then expect us to spend more on medication and undergo another retrieval cycle? A waste of time and hard-earned money. Go elsewhere in Phoenix.

Dr. Gelety is an excellent professional who is direct when discussing medical conditions and fertility. He is willing to put in the work and ensure you are on the right path with your fertility needs. My husband and I spent more than 4 years trying to have a child. I went back and forth between different gynecologists and endocrinologists until I received a referral through the VA in El Paso to see him in Tucson, Arizona. He reviewed my husband's and my medical records and developed a plan for trying to conceive, while making no guarantees. We returned home and began medication and STAT ultrasounds. As soon as Dr. Gelety received the results, he contacted me after hours and recommended the next step. During the third round of medication, menstrual cycle monitoring, and STAT ultrasound, Dr. Gateley called to tell me I was pregnant. He monitored me until I began obstetric care, then released me back to my OB-GYN. This all happened in 2024. Now, as I write this in 2025, we have a healthy, beautiful daughter and look forward to our life with her. Pregnancy was difficult for me, but if we consider another child, we will definitely seek Dr. Gelety's services again. His staff were also very understanding and promptly emailed STAT orders, allowing me to receive immediate care in different states and cities on the specified dates and times. Many thanks to Dr. Gelety and his excellent team for all their work to help us have our beautiful daughter, Eliana. Note: This clinic provides fertility services and, since 2024, has accepted VA coverage for fertility consultations/referrals from nearby cities such as El Paso, Texas. They also offer other fertility services, including intrauterine insemination (IUI) and in vitro fertilization (IVF), if medication is ineffective, depending on laboratory levels and other factors.

I have been seeing Dr. Gelety for about a month and am very impressed so far. My circumstances made me extremely nervous about meeting any fertility doctor, but I was very pleased with his professionalism and never felt uncomfortable. He willingly answered my questions and explained things, and was helpful and supportive. I highly recommend him. I also appreciate that visits are quick and efficient. He does not waste time, and I rarely wait; when I do, it is brief.

Pay attention to the reviews describing Dr. Gelety as dismissive. I was with him for only 2.5 months and felt he did not care. Perhaps he once did, but no longer does. My first visit lasted eight minutes from when he entered, performed an ultrasound, and left. I had no time for questions and left confused and rushed. I had to call later to ask about the treatment plan. Dr. Gelety did not seem to review my chart showing that I took letrozole during my second cycle and that he prescribed it without concern. In my third cycle, he questioned why I requested letrozole rather than Clomid. I reminded him that during my first cycle with him, he said Clomid could affect cervical mucus and kill sperm. After one round of Clomid, our mucus test showed almost all sperm were dead. Based on that and my successful ovulation from both ovaries with letrozole under my previous fertility doctor, I wanted letrozole again. Dr. Gelety then asked why I had left my previous doctor. I explained that provider no longer accepted my insurance, and he replied, ‘Oh, good,’ in a flippant, condescending tone. I was shocked. That comment alone made me feel unwelcome and uncared for. No patient should feel that way, especially in fertility care. On the phone, he repeatedly said I had been trying for two years and should already be pregnant. That timeframe was wrong; we had actively tried for only about a year, and I had delivered my son just 22 months earlier. He then said I should become pregnant within three to four months and implied something might be wrong, yet never suggested additional testing beyond a cervical mucus test during an unmedicated rest month. I offered records showing successful ovulation from both ovaries and that my son was conceived without IUI, but he declined. When prescribing letrozole, he said, ‘We can do it your way.’ I do not understand why no cervical mucus test was performed after my last letrozole cycle. Comparing it with the Clomid cycle might have helped explain why I was not yet pregnant. This was not my first experience with Dr. Gelety’s poor bedside manner. Most appointments left me confused because he did not explain what things meant or what the plan was. I had to ask questions as I left or call later because I could not simply Google what happened. Visits felt so rushed that I recorded them for reference later that day. Dr. Gelety repeatedly lacks appropriate bedside manner and does not seem to know how to speak to patients. He prescribed letrozole without concern when my period came the previous month, so his behavior on August 21 caught me off guard. If he had reviewed my chart, he would have seen he had already approved it. Fertility care is highly emotional, and he needs to treat families with greater courtesy and understanding. If possible, find another doctor. I believe he is too old to continue this work if this is how he treats patients.

After extensive bloodwork and testing, there was no communication. I tried to reach the doctor twice and was promised a call both times, but he never called. It has been a month. I am going to another clinic because I do not trust this practice or doctor.

♡ Dr. Gelety is very caring and always available. He also has a wonderful staff!

I saw Dr. Gelety 21 years ago and became pregnant three times through IVF. Sadly, one was stillborn at 37 weeks, which was devastating, but the doctor was compassionate. I had frozen embryos, so we tried again, and that baby is now almost 17—not a baby anymore. I would recommend him to anyone trying to conceive.
