I came to Dianthus after visiting another reproductive center. If it were rated like a hotel, Dianthus's entire medical team's professionalism and service, as well as its clinical equipment, would unquestionably deserve 5 stars. The money was very well spent. 【Success after two IVF cycles for an immune-related case】 My reproductive specialist was Dr. Chen Ching-Hui, and my immunology specialist was Dr. Lu Chun-Chi, with Dr. Li Ya-Chi covering when appointment times did not align. Before the first IVF cycle, I had AMH, FSH, thyroid, and HSG tests, all normal. After transfer, however, we unexpectedly discovered that I might have immune-related fertility issues. My immune-test reports from two hospitals actually had no abnormal results, only one value close to the abnormal range that might have risen after transfer because of physical changes. 113/05/18 IVF On 6/1, our 11th attempt finally succeeded. From my first IVF cycle onward, I kept looking for the reasons for failure and changed reproductive doctors four times. She directly recommended ERA and other combined tests, and I completed every test suggested, yet faced repeated disappointment, broke down, left my job to recover, and started again. I accepted every method, obediently ate fries, wore yellow socks to the transfer, and brought home bobo chicken and bowl rice cake. Eleven IVF cycles and five earlier IUIs, plus many tests, were expensive. The medication this time was very different, and I thank Dr. Chen and the other Dianthus doctors for discussing my case. I honestly think she must have grown tired of seeing me 😂😂😂—it was such a difficult case. Most importantly, thank you to Dr. Chen for not giving up on me. According to Taiwan's Health Promotion Administration, one in every 7 couples in Taiwan experiences infertility, and unfortunately we were one of them. We did not use contraception after marriage and regularly tried to conceive, but nothing happened. Further testing showed that we were an infertile couple. The news came as a tremendous shock, and we found it emotionally impossible to accept. We had always felt that pregnancy and childbirth were choices available to us, but now we might be unable to have children. My husband and I were deeply disappointed. By chance, we saw a Ministry of Health and Welfare advertisement about subsidies for infertility treatment, which gave us a glimmer of hope. Although every visit involved a long wait because the doctor had many patients, the comfortable, relaxing environment was reassuring. In addition to a convenient appointment system and intuitive interface, it contained all my medical records, including blood test results and ultrasound images, so I did not have to worry about forgetting any information. I could also view the number and details of my frozen embryos through the app, which was very convenient. In May of year 113, I gave birth to an adorable baby born in the Year of the Dragon. Fortunately, we chose to give ourselves a chance and found Dianthus and Dr. Liu. That is how we were able to meet our lovely baby. Our path to parenthood may have been more difficult and expensive than it is for many couples, but because we took a different path from most, we can better empathize with and understand the hardship of trying to conceive. Looking back, I was carrying twins yet remained active until delivery at 37 weeks, and both babies were born healthy and strong. Although caring for two babies at once is difficult now, I am very grateful I made this decision. Having children was never part of my life plan. I began treatment because it was my father's wish, and after thinking about it for a year, I decided to use the fastest route to pregnancy, IVF, and booked a consultation at the fertility center. I learned about Dr. Chen through Zháinü Xiaohong's program, and through this chance connection she became my attending physician. My initial examination found polycystic ovaries but no other issues apart from advanced age XD, so I began treatment. Fortunately, a large number of eggs were retrieved on the first attempt. While waiting for my ovaries to recover, I had a hysteroscopy and sent the embryos for PGS testing. I conceived after the first transfer of a top-grade embryo, but unfortunately experienced a missed miscarriage at eight weeks. Because top-grade embryos have a low miscarriage rate, Dr. Chen recommended immune testing during my recovery. After confirming that there was no immune issue, I could begin another transfer cycle after my next period. Unfortunately, the second transfer resulted only in a biochemical pregnancy. The following month, I began a third cycle and transferred two low-level mosaic embryos. On pregnancy test day, my HCG was as high as 2800! Dr. Chen said they might be twins, and the ultrasound the next week indeed showed two embryos. The babies did very well, growing healthily until we graduated at ten weeks. When I first heard about mosaic embryos, I worried about whether transferring them would cause problems. I researched extensively, and Dr. Chen also said embryos can repair themselves. It truly is amazing! I graduated after ten months at Dianthus and feel very fortunate, perhaps with my father's blessing. I wish everyone at Dianthus a successful pregnancy and good luck!

Once I had found the right person, everything went smoothly! Freezing my eggs was an important decision. I was already over 30 and had never had my AMH tested. After doing some research, I visited a well-known fertility center for a consultation and blood test. The results showed that my AMH was far lower than that of other women my age. I was very upset and immediately decided that I wanted to spend six months improving my egg health before undergoing egg freezing. Later, I saw a YouTuber share her experience of freezing her eggs with Dr. Chan Hsin-Yu at Dianthus Clinic. It happened to be close to my home, so I went there for a consultation. I encourage women to begin regular AMH testing early, monitor the values, and understand their bodies. My three egg-freezing experiences gave me greater peace of mind. My husband and I married later in life and always agreed that we wanted children, but after being married for some time, I still had not become pregnant. On a friend's recommendation, we began exploring assisted reproduction at the end of 2019. Initially, we knew little about assisted reproduction, so for our first treatment we went directly to a clinic recommended by a friend. Preliminary testing showed that my AMH was extremely low at only 0.41, indicating severely diminished ovarian function and a very low chance of natural conception. The doctor told us that the only treatment available to improve our chance of pregnancy was IVF, in which eggs and sperm are fertilized outside the body and the resulting embryo is then transferred into the uterus. Five eggs were retrieved, producing three successfully fertilized embryos. Because of my age, all three embryos could be transferred at once, but none implanted. After our first failed IVF cycle, our savings rapidly diminished, and we also faced the painful realization that spending a great deal of money does not guarantee a successful pregnancy. Deeply discouraged by this failure, we decided to take a year off. When we returned to IVF treatment a year later, we met Dr. Liu Chih-Hung and learned that an older woman like me, who produced only one egg per retrieval, needed to use time wisely by banking embryos through multiple retrievals, then transferring them together or in stages once enough had been collected. Dr. Liu also suggested a faster route to pregnancy: donor eggs. This required overcoming many emotional barriers. The first time I heard this recommendation, I broke down and cried in front of the doctor. I had not realized how difficult it would be for me to become pregnant. During the second transfer, the embryo implanted successfully, and my husband and I were overjoyed. But after the fifth week, it stopped growing, resulting in a blighted ovum. Heartbroken, I could only wipe away my tears and continue treatment. The third transfer also resulted in a blighted ovum, as did the fourth. The fifth transfer was my only non-natural-cycle transfer, and it failed to implant. My sixth and final transfer took place in October 2024. The embryo implanted successfully and developed steadily to about 11 weeks. At first, I simply felt that I was already in my 30s and very busy with work, so I wanted to proceed directly with assisted reproduction. 1. During my initial consultation, I was told that egg retrieval would cost 90,000–120,000. I was also told that the injections before retrieval would be charged according to the dosage, and that PGS chromosome testing would cost extra and was not included in the retrieval cycle. This seemed reasonable. Even on the day of retrieval, I thought my total would be just over 120,000 at most, excluding PGS. After the retrieval, I was shocked to be charged more than 140,000. PGS would be charged later, when the embryos were biopsied, so why did one egg retrieval cost so much? I want to understand why my retrieval cost more than other people's. Which procedures were required for my retrieval? Why was I not given a form to sign at my pre-retrieval appointment informing me that one retrieval would cost more than 140,000? Which treatments were required? 2. Regarding the immunology testing, Dr. Wu asked us to go home and consider whether to do it. At the next blood draw, they took extra blood first and only said it would be discarded if we decided against the testing. Why did they draw so much extra blood? It felt somewhat coercive. 3. When the immunology report showed low albumin, nobody explained the next steps. Dr. Wu only asked me to visit a specialist immunology hospital for repeat testing and bring the report back. If so, why not direct me to an immunology specialist for blood tests from the beginning? The immunology department charged only a registration fee and tested more items. My husband and I told the immunologist that we had already paid for immunology testing at Dianthus MFM & IVF Center and had come for repeat testing. The immunologist also said immunology should be handled by a specialist. Dr. Wu's explanation of the chromosome results was also unclear and made my condition sound very serious. I spent the entire day frightened, and we then visited a genetics specialist at a medical center. The nurse replying on LINE was careless and unprofessional! I asked in advance about submitting a test specimen, but no one told me that forms had to be completed on site first. Only after we arrived with the prepared specimen did they tell us, making the entire trip a waste. I initially had my AMH tested simply to ‘see where things stood.’ Unexpectedly, my AMH was far below average. Only then did I truly realize that fertility does not always follow one's life plans. I was very anxious at the time and wondered why I was different from everyone else. Had I done something wrong? I could not help questioning whether I had waited too long to take this seriously. Once I calmed down, however, I knew it was better to face the situation while I still had time than to remain trapped in worry. After deciding to freeze my eggs, I began going to bed earlier, taking nutritional supplements, and doing aerobic exercise to make my physical condition more stable. It was genuinely difficult at first, but once these habits became routine, I noticed my health gradually improving. Although these changes could not immediately affect my test results, they at least gave me the reassuring sense that I was working for myself. I am also very grateful for Dr. 沈孟勋's care and patience throughout this process. At each visit, he carefully explained my current condition. He never made me feel pressured by unfavorable results and instead kept encouraging me: ‘You can begin whenever you are ready.’ He also selected suitable medications based on my condition each time. I had been extremely afraid of injections and postoperative complications, and the thought alone made me feel incapable of going through with it. The first time I stood before the mirror holding a needle, I hesitated for a long time. Later, however, I discovered that many things were not as frightening as I had imagined. As I gradually became accustomed to it, I also began to admire my own courage. Although I was still nervous on the day of egg retrieval, I mostly felt, ‘I have finally reached this point.’ Unfortunately, the final number of eggs retrieved was below my ideal. I inevitably felt disappointed when I saw the result and wondered whether I had already missed the best time. Gradually, however, I came to understand that egg freezing cannot always be completed perfectly in one attempt and that everyone's physical condition is different. Rather than fixating on the result of one cycle, I now hope to maintain a stable mindset, take good care of my body, and keep trying. At least I have taken the step I once feared most, and that courage is itself something gained.

In my early thirties, I decided to buy myself ‘time insurance.’ For me, this decision was not driven by anxiety, but by a desire to retain control over my life choices. This ‘seven-day challenge’ affected me more than expected. From overcoming the initial psychological pressure and administering ovarian stimulation injections at the same time every day to the days after egg retrieval, my body changed noticeably in response to the medication. My abdomen became significantly bloated, and my gastrointestinal function temporarily slowed. During the most difficult moments, I was extremely grateful for Dr. 廖 and the medical team's attentive care and professional guidance. I can now freely spend time outdoors and exercise again, and I am truly glad I made this decision. I especially recommend Dr. 詹雨欣, who was attentive and gentle at every follow-up and patiently answered my questions, greatly easing my anxiety. Her explanations of the treatment plan and my physical condition were very clear, and I could truly feel her professionalism and empathy. When my eggs were successfully frozen, I genuinely felt relieved and proud of myself. I once thought fertility was a distant concern, but this experience gave me a better understanding of the pressures and choices women face at different stages of life. 因为AMH指​​数低于年龄的平均值且小于3决定进行冻卵疗程，选择宜蕴的原因是因为家人的同事曾在此完成相关疗程并分享经验，因此对流程与专业度已有初步了解，整体过程比预期更有系统也更安心。一开始护理师即进行完整卫教说明，费用也在初期清楚告知，实际花费落在预估区间内，没有额外负担。宜蕴有开发APP系统，除了可约诊外，还可以查询抽血报告、检查数据与冻卵资讯，资讯即时且方便。 我的医师是洪上国医师，医师本身话不多，但实际性格蛮和蔼的，对于提问也总是亲切且清楚的回覆。宜蕴有超音波技术员，但洪医师还是亲自进行超音波检查，细心追踪卵泡大小，每次回诊都会安排抽血检验，报告通常在一小时内即可完成，医师能即时根据数据调整用药与疗程规划。我的疗程中，医师主要采用长效型针剂再搭配每日施打的针剂，长效型可于回诊时请护理师协助施打，缓解不少心理压力。至于对针剂的反应因人而异，我初期施打时有点头晕，后期因为卵泡长大则会腹胀，但都在可忍受范围，不影响工作与生活。 取卵手术采舒眠麻醉，麻醉医师术前会进行问诊评估，取卵通常由当日值班医师执行，整体取卵过程都很顺利，我一共进行四次取卵疗程，其中曾有一次在短时间内连续进入疗程，但效果不如预期，建议至少间隔一个月再进行下一次疗程以调整身体状态。很谢谢洪医师因我对破卵针反应较不佳，适时调整针剂及拉长破卵针至取卵的时间，最终在最后一次疗程中反而取得最多颗卵子。 此外，护理师与行政人员相当温柔亲切，专业度也令人安心，职员各司其职，重视细节，疗程中未曾感到慌乱或无所适从，整体而言，从环境品质到人员专业都让人感到放松和信任。

一開始很抗拒接受試管療程，彷彿間接證實了我有缺陷不足的地方也擔心求子路的艱辛難熬，後來在朋友的推薦下選擇了宜蘊開啟試管之路。 一開始的評估檢查都還算順利，也成功取了20顆卵，最後有6顆發育的胚胎，也聽從醫師建議檢測了PGS。 第一次嘗試人工週期植入後，因為出現尿道感染症狀提前回診，超音波檢查時未見囊胚，抽血β-hCG數值也無顯著升高，我的主治醫師廖娸鈞醫師，在診間仔細地跟我說明這些跡象意味著胚胎沒有發育，所以建議我停止用藥，讓胚胎自然剝落，一開始我並不願意停藥，因為覺得我是提前返診的，是不是還需要給胚胎點時間，廖醫師同理我的想法也同意我繼續用藥，在我離開診間後，沉澱了心情才接受了廖醫師的建議停藥。現在回想起來，當初真的很謝謝她願意給我時間接受，因為她的這份溫暖，讓我願意再鼓起勇氣接受第二次植入。 第二次的植入依照廖醫師的建議採自然週期植入，有了上次的經驗，這次增加了預防性抗生素用藥，胚胎也順利著床發育，但就在第6週時，半夜裡突然出現量多的血塊，當時人在台中無法立即趕回台北，因為也正好在台中宜蘊診所附近，詢問了台北宜蘊官方line後，幫忙聯絡了台中宜蘊診所，很感謝那時候台中宜蘊的櫃台、護理人員及吳成玄醫師協助看診，超音波檢查結果確認胚胎正常發展，甚至可以聽見清楚的胎心音，瞬間的出血應是陳舊的血塊，當下絕望害怕的心情才獲得緩解，而當時診療的結果也聯繫了台北的廖醫師，補了一隻黃體素針劑後離開。 經過了這次的波折，寶寶乖乖的成長發育著，廖醫師也陪著我看著寶寶成長到16週拿到畢業證書，我打開”畢業證書”那刻直接飆淚，在宜蘊試管路程中，常常感受到診所帶給我的溫暖，取卵手術後的早餐、植入後的好孕包(歷經2次植入，好運包內容還都不一樣)到畢業證書，或許對於每天面對那麼多人的診所來說，這些都只是制式化的動作，但是很謝謝你們願意保持這制式化的動作，因為這樣的小動作讓我們感受到你們除了是幫助我們懷孕，也是照顧與陪伴著我們。 我自己與當初推薦宜蘊的朋友都是台北市某醫學中心工作多年的護理師，那時的朋友因為在宜蘊工作，了解宜蘊的用心與實力推薦給了我，而我自己也是有婦產科工作背景，在宜蘊的試管路程中我一直感到很安心，從櫃檯人員的親切和善、護理師的認真貼心，每每都會仔細地核對藥物與衛教用藥方式、醫師的專業與細心，植入前地仔細評估，到植入後地細心追蹤、官方line的溫馨提醒與即時回覆，謝謝有你們辛苦的付出，讓我身邊可以有個可愛又健康地2個月大的寶寶陪伴。
