When my husband and I first started trying to conceive, we never imagined that infertility and recurrent pregnancy loss would become part of our story. The journey was heartbreaking at times, but PREG made it much more bearable. Before working with PREG, I had already experienced two pregnancy losses and was struggling to conceive again. I wasn't sure I fit their typical patient demographic, so I was hesitant to reach out. However, I knew something wasn't right with my body. My cycles were lasting over 60 days, and I was experiencing significant pain. In one year alone, I saw seven different OB-GYNs. I repeatedly heard the same things: that I was being impatient, that pain was normal, or that there was nothing wrong and it was all in my head. When I called PREG, they scheduled an appointment right away. We met with Dr. McCoy and Dr. Nichols, who took the time to listen to our concerns and recommended further testing. For the first time, I felt heard. Through their care, I finally received a diagnosis of endometriosis. One thing I truly appreciated about PREG was that they never pressured us into any specific treatment. In fact, IVF wasn't even mentioned initially. My husband and I wanted to take a slower approach with as few interventions as possible, and the doctors respected that. When we eventually felt ready to discuss IVF, we brought it up ourselves. We ultimately decided to move forward with IVF. At the time, we didn't have fertility insurance, but we qualified for PREG's refund program (this was in 2023, so I'm not sure if it is still offered). We could only afford one IVF cycle, and we ended up with one embryo. I became pregnant and graduated from PREG, but sadly, I miscarried at 12 weeks. I was devastated. When I received the news, my husband wasn't with me. I didn't know who else to call, so I called PREG. My IVF nurse answered, and when I broke down crying, she offered to drive to my OB's office and sit with me until my husband arrived. He walked in shortly after she made the offer, but I have never forgotten that kindness. Later that day, I needed a D&C at Mission Hospital. Dr. McCoy heard the news and came by to check on us. That moment showed me that PREG doesn't treat patients like numbers. They genuinely care about the people they serve and become invested in their patients' journeys. That meant so much to us to have him check on us and I will never forget that. Later, we were fortunate enough to obtain fertility insurance. Combined with a portion of the money we received back through the refund program, we were able to afford another round of IVF. This cycle resulted in more embryos, and eventually another pregnancy. In April 2025, we welcomed our miracle baby girl into the world. She is absolutely perfect. I will always be grateful to PREG, especially Dr. McCoy, for helping us bring our daughter home. While our journey was far from easy, we never felt alone, and that made all the difference.

We would not have our precious daughter without the team at PREG. We are incredibly grateful for their help throughout our long IVF journey. After struggling for more than three years to become and remain pregnant, we finally welcomed our rainbow baby. We sometimes drove an hour and a half to more than three hours to see them, but it was all worthwhile. We are deeply grateful and would recommend them to everyone.

They helped my wife and me realize our dream of becoming parents. They supported us throughout and answered our questions and concerns, even when I simply needed reassurance. 2022: Dr. McCoy helped us become parents! We will always be grateful. The staff were amazing! Mikayla put up with all my pointless emails and always replied immediately. Dr. McCoy was genuinely happy for us, and it was clear that he truly wanted to help. If we decide to have another embryo transfer, we will return to him. Dr. Rani and Lauren M were outstanding in providing information, care, and communication. All the staff were warm, welcoming, and professional. From the front desk and assistants to the gentleman drawing blood, everyone made me feel at ease. If I had not chosen fertility treatment abroad, I would trust PREG completely. A local friend chose treatment at Carolinas and later regretted it; if she could start again, she would also choose PREG.

My fertility doctor is Dr. McCoy. He is an amazing person who listens to all your concerns, wishes, and needs. Sixteen months later, we are back with a beautiful 16-month-old baby girl and will try again, make the most of it, and pray to God that everything goes as I hope. We want another child, and this is where we will go because it worked and we received excellent care. Aside from being somewhat expensive, it is still worth going because the doctors listen and do their best to help you in every way. PREG is the place to go.

April 25 was a very meaningful day. It was the day we graduated from the fertility clinic! When we began our IVF journey a year ago, I dreamed of this day. Our little baby, due around Thanksgiving, is developing well today with a heart rate of 172! We have been through so much during this stage of life. But hearing that tiny heartbeat made every worry, every tear, every injection and procedure, and every mile from home to our clinic in Asheville, North Carolina, which made this dream possible, worthwhile!
