About Atlanta Center for Reproductive Medicine

Patient-Focused, Holistic Fertility Care in Atlanta

Infertility is a journey that no one intends to start, and no one can be sure how it will end. Seeking fertility care may be one of the most critical decisions on your path to parenthood — and choosing the right fertility clinic is essential.

At ACRM, we know how much of your time, commitment, and emotion goes into this journey. And while this path to parenthood may not look like the one you would have chosen, you're not alone. We are in your corner each step of the way.

Why Choose ACRM

Fertility care is not a one-size-fits-all solution. Each person and situation is unique and requires a customized approach. Our team will work one-on-one with you to help you understand the reason(s) for your infertility, arrive at a diagnosis, and create a treatment plan that suits your individual needs.

ACRM Is Part of the CCRM Network

Since 2016, we've been in partnership with the Colorado Center for Reproductive Medicine network (CCRM). This partnership gives us access to the most advanced research in the field of reproductive medicine and further enables us to deliver leading care to our patients. Additionally, we maintain some of the industry's strictest lab standards and protocols to provide our patients with the highest quality care possible.

Specialized Team With a Unified Approach to Care

Our physicians, embryologists and clinical staff, have dedicated their careers to helping our patients achieve their ultimate goal: a healthy baby.

Our fellowship-trained fertility doctors attended distinguished higher education institutions and are board-certified or board-eligible in various subspecialties. Many hold academic faculty positions, speak at national conferences and board review courses, and act as consultants to other IVF practices.

We strongly believe in a team approach to patient care. That's why each patient is assigned a care team, including a primary physician and primary nurse, and a patient care coordinator as the primary point of contact. Together, the patient care team educates couples and individuals on their treatment plan, reasons they may need specific tests and/or medications, and makes sure all parties are informed about what to expect during their journey with ACRM.

State-Of-The-Art Reproductive Technologies

We understand the stress and heartache infertility brings and strive to deliver thoughtful, cost-effective, personalized infertility care. As specialists in Reproductive Endocrinology, we can quickly arrive at a diagnosis and formulate an efficient, effective therapy.

We advanced reproductive technologies, such as:

In vitro fertilization (IVF)

Egg freezing

Intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI)

Preimplantation genetic diagnosis (PGD)

Our physicians can also provide full evaluation and treatment of polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS), premature ovarian failure, hirsutism, recurrent pregnancy loss, endometriosis, premenstrual syndrome, and complicated menopausal problems.

Whole Person Care

Research has demonstrated that emotional and stress-related issues can impact fertility. That's why we emphasize a "whole-person," holistic care approach addressing not only a patient's physical needs but their emotional needs, as well. In addition to our traditional fertility services, we also offer a free weekly support group and additional therapies such as mental health counseling and nutritional guidance.

High Success Rates

In 2021, we estimate nearly 800 ACRM were babies born! Our stellar reputation and high success rates have earned us “Center of Excellence '' recognition from OptumHealth, a United Healthcare Company, and an "Institute of Excellence '' designation from Aetna.

Meet Hope Here

We know that infertility can be painful and isolating, but remember to give yourself grace. Every person is unique, and we’re here to help find the best solution for your individual needs and are committed to walking alongside you on each step toward your path to parenthood.

Both IVF attempts failed. Stay away from these people; they only want to take your money and waste thousands of dollars. Dr. Patel is the worst doctor.

    Never again.

I received a bill for $2.71 and accidentally paid $271. It was an honest mistake. I called ACRM to explain, and they said accounts receivable would call me back. No one did, so I disputed the charge with my bank. My bank even tried twice to contact ACRM about the dispute, but I still lost $268.29. Update: Chantise from Patient Support learned about the situation and quickly resolved it for me. Thank you again, Chantise!

I had a wonderful experience working with Dr. Patel and the team at ACRM!!

ACRM was very good to my wife and me. After three failed IUIs, Dr. Fogle was cautious and did not overpromise when we moved to IVF. We are expecting our first child in two weeks, all thanks to Dr. Fogle and ACRM! Update: The quality of the administrative staff has declined significantly. They send unnecessary follow-up emails, ignore requests for medical records, and more.

I truly like all the women in the office, from the front desk to the nurses. They are always laughing and smiling. They are very compassionate and welcoming. Fertility problems are difficult to handle when you are struggling to conceive, but I am very glad I could speak openly and ask all my unusual questions. Everyone was very willing to help.

1 star We spent more than $5,000 at ACRM—laboratory fees, physician bills, scans, and tests—only to be failed twice by Dr. Kathryn Calhoun and her team. Despite sending clear, time-sensitive ovulation test results and requesting an immediate appointment, they delayed us until after ovulation, making our planned intrauterine insemination completely unfeasible. During one of the most emotionally vulnerable periods of our lives, we trusted Dr. Calhoun with our care. Instead, we were charged thousands of dollars for a procedure that was never performed because of their own scheduling error. After repeated follow-up, she offered a partial refund but refused to accept full responsibility. This was not only a financial loss but also a painful emotional setback. If you are seeking fertility care, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere. If this review was helpful, please give it a like so others can be warned.

Dr. Calhoun and the entire ACRM team have amazed us. They are knowledgeable, kind, and compassionate. We have been under their care for four years, and I can honestly say I would not trade this team for any other. Special recognition goes to Dr. Calhoun, Lacey Bean, and Mirin Regan, who all went above and beyond to answer our questions, remain patient with us, and ensure we had the best possible chance. I recommend this team to anyone considering fertility care.

Dr. Calhoun and her team are amazing! They helped my husband and me start and grow our family. Her care team is wonderful and always responds quickly when I need help or have questions. We love Dr. Calhoun and ACRM!

Going to ACRM is worse than shopping at Walmart. No one ever picks up the phone, and voice and email messages are completely ignored. I've left them 3 messages in a week, but no one has called back. I think this speaks volumes about the level of medical care we would receive from ACRM. We will be transferring to a more responsive fertility clinic.

ACRM's administrative team was a major source of frustration. During my treatment there, I usually paid the bill immediately after each appointment. Sometimes when I did not have my wallet, staff assured me they would mail the balance due. However, several months after treatment ended, I was shocked to receive a large bill that appeared to disregard all the payments I had made directly at the clinic. I tried to contact the billing department to resolve the issue. Despite leaving several voicemails and sending emails, I received complete silence; no one returned my calls or replied to my emails. This was especially frustrating because I had carefully kept every payment receipt and was ready to provide them for clarification. The situation escalated when a collection agency contacted me about the same outstanding balance. I explained the entire experience, including the clinic's failure to respond. Thankfully, the agency was understanding and ruled in my favor, recognizing that the clinic had failed to address my inquiries. However, the relief was short-lived. A few days ago, I received an Experian alert showing that the collection had been added to my credit report. This is especially upsetting because I had maintained excellent credit for more than 20 years. The effect of this misunderstanding on my credit history is deeply concerning. Given these experiences, I strongly advise against using ACRM's services. By contrast, our new clinic has been very responsive. They are always available by phone, and it is refreshing to speak with attentive, helpful people. This change has significantly improved our experience and peace of mind.

Our experience with this medical office was very negative, and we would not recommend it for IVF care. It was almost impossible to speak with any staff member to establish care or schedule an appointment. During the few imaging examinations we had, the medical assistant was unpleasant and rude and refused to answer any questions.

Words cannot describe how grateful I am to this clinic. They treated me well from the beginning, and whenever I emailed, I received a response within a reasonable time with accurate information. Dr. Tiegs is an angel. She and her team provided the best service throughout my entire process. After ten years of waiting to become a parent, my dream has now come true. Thank you, Dr. Tiegs, her entire team, and the clinic for making this dream a reality.

Listen to all the negative reviews about administration/billing! Please read and heed the reviews about this facility's administration, because they are 100% accurate. I tried to focus on the positive reviews and gave the clinic a chance, but that was a mistake. I called my insurance to confirm that it was in network. Dr. Smeltzer was out of network, so I emailed to cancel my appointment. They then called back and said they could file under the 'corporate NPI,' which was in network. So I began my journey with them... 5 months later, I received a $6,600 bill because these providers were out of network, so the services were not covered. Please note that they submitted services under providers I had never met and could not even identify. I also never received a financial breakdown of services and costs! I do not expect anything to be free, but there was absolutely no discussion. I emailed them the EOB from my insurer showing ACRM/CCRM as in network and showing that the procedures were covered when submitted under the corporate NPI. I asked them to resubmit all claims, and they told me to allow 5-7 days. A month later, they had not replied to emails or my insurer. The insurer called and left a voicemail but could not speak with anyone. I have just received more bills by mail... I am glad some people have had wonderful experiences at this facility. The clinicians I met were fine, although nothing exceptional to me, but they seem able to make many dreams come true, which is wonderful. Their administrative operations, however, are terrible! Listen to all the negative reviews about administration/billing! They are so poor that they make an already difficult experience even harder.
