I truly cannot express how grateful I am for this clinic. From start to finish, everyone made me feel welcome, supported, and cared for. Diane and Krista at the front desk were wonderful—kind, patient, and positive. Medical assistant Cecilia was warm and attentive and made sure I was fully prepared before my appointment. My primary care consultant, Ashley, was exceptional. I was nervous during the procedure, but she made me feel very relaxed. After every visit, she checked on me, made sure I was doing well, and patiently answered all my questions. You can tell she genuinely cares about her patients, which means so much. My nurse, Jordan, was attentive and gentle throughout the process and made me feel reassured. I greatly appreciate her support. I also want to thank financial counselor Tori, who explained my benefits in detail and made the process simple and stress-free. Dr. Plosker and Dr. Sakar went above and beyond. Their care, attention to detail, and professionalism exceeded my expectations. This clinic sets the standard for patient care. I felt very well cared for.

My wife and I have had a great experience so far with this clinic. We were able to get answers on why we’ve had trouble conceiving which is really reassuring. Everyone has truly been awesome! Diane is always great at the front. Ashley breezed us through testing and was always available to answer our questions. Susie was beyond amazing and gentle with my wife. Cecilia always has a smile on her face. Jordan has been fantastic as my nurse and Dr. Plosker has been phenomenal. You can tell he really cares for his patients. Elenie was also very knowledgeable with explaining our insurance and expected costs for our treatment plan. All in all, this team has been great. We’re looking forward to the day we have our baby!

They were very helpful and responded to questions quickly. I was very satisfied with the entire experience. I had previously visited another fertility clinic, but it did not feel as reassuring as Shady Grove. Dr. Plosker was very patient and answered all our questions.

My experience so far? 1. They violated my HIPAA rights. They have admitted this. 2. They canceled my partner's testing appointments twice, both times on the day of the appointment. She is a federal employee with very limited time off. So far, the money is gone and nothing has been accomplished. I will update my review if the organization changes. For now, it has been an enormous headache.

The staff are friendly and professional, and appointments are quick and convenient. Jordan always responds promptly, and Dr. Plosker is very kind.

Our experience at this clinic was disappointing. Although the staff were always kind and polite, the level of disorganization was concerning, especially for a fertility clinic where timing is critical. Almost every appointment involved a scheduling issue or miscommunication. Most frustratingly, my hysteroscopy/hysterosalpingogram (HSG) was rescheduled one hour before my planned arrival because we had not received the necessary pre-procedure instructions. This was stressful and entirely avoidable. There were also problems with lab orders. Some tests discussed and agreed upon during appointments were omitted, and we only learned at our final meeting with the doctor that they had never been performed. In fertility care, missed tests and scheduling problems can significantly affect an already sensitive process. Our nurse Ashley was kind and apologized when issues arose. However, the repeated mistakes and poor communication made it difficult to trust the clinic's overall coordination of care. Despite this, we are very grateful that the process gave us answers about two medical findings that may help explain my history of miscarriage. We will always appreciate that.

5 stars specifically for the ultrasound tech, Suzy. She was so great, very kind and asked before doing anything. As someone who’s had a rough experience at OBGYNs in the past, this fertility clinic having such a gentle ultrasound tech meant a lot.

The Brandon clinic is amazing! I had an excellent experience here. Susie is wonderful with patients. She explains everything she does in detail and always takes the time to educate patients. She is also very kind! Everyone I encountered at the clinic was wonderful. Trying to conceive is difficult enough, so it is especially valuable when a clinic helps reduce the stress.

Susie, Jordan, Diane, all the medical assistants at the Brandon clinic, and Dr. Plosker are wonderful. They are warm and thoughtful, take time to listen to your needs, and let you fully express your wishes. Medical care can be stressful, but they make it much easier! Susie, the nurse practitioner, is the absolute sweetest! She is patient and answers any questions you may have. Jordan, the RN, is also amazing and takes the time to write out all the instructions and ensure you understand the next steps. The team at SG Brandon is wonderful.

I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Plosker and his outstanding nurse, Nicole. Under their care, I successfully completed 2 egg-freezing cycles. From day one, they made me feel confident, supported, and completely at ease. I am at an age when fertility can feel frightening and even overwhelming, but they made the entire process easy. Dr. Plosker performed my first procedure, and everything went very smoothly. He is calm, professional, and exceptionally thorough. He is the kind of doctor who makes you feel safe and genuinely heard. His expertise and compassion are unmatched. Nicole was the heart of the experience. She has everything you could hope for in a nurse: warmth, encouragement, and incredible responsiveness. She guided me through every step with great patience and empathy, answered countless questions, proactively checked in, and made a complicated medical process feel personal and even uplifting. She genuinely cares about her patients, and it shows in every interaction. It had been a long time since I received such high-quality, personalized medical care. Shady Grove Fertility has a strong national reputation, and the Brandon/Tampa team fully lives up to it. Dr. Plosker's expertise, Nicole's exceptional care, and the staff at both clinics gave me a team I could trust with something so important.

I called the Brandon office with questions about semen analysis. The receptionist's attitude made me feel that my questions were foolish. I wish the person answering the phone had shown more understanding toward someone like me who is just beginning to learn about the process.

Dennelle was a pleasure to work with and has an excellent bedside manner. I like our facility and everyone who works here. I always feel comfortable, and my questions are usually answered promptly.

Great facility, but patients should research their own financial responsibility. Before my appointment, I received a call saying I would only need to pay a $60 copay. I later received a bill for more than $1000, and insurance covered none of the procedure costs. I wish they had told me in advance, but they said I would only owe a $60 copay. Update October 14, 2025: I sent an email, but the issue remains unresolved. I received one reply and then heard nothing further.

I am sitting in my car after my first appointment at Shady Grove in Brandon. It was an excellent experience. Dennelle was very friendly and drew my blood on the first try, which is usually difficult for me! Susie was wonderful. She was very gentle, and I never felt rushed. The clinic was also clean.

I rarely visit the Brandon office because it is far from me. I have had many ultrasounds, saline sonograms, and similar procedures. Anyone who is undergoing or has undergone them knows how uncomfortable pelvic exams can be. I have had very bad experiences before that were somewhat traumatic. Today, however, was completely different. From the moment I reached the front desk, Diane was friendly and helpful and made me feel very comfortable. I also saw Dennels, whom I often saw at another Shady Grove location. Her warmth, bright smile, and attentive care at every visit gave my day a wonderful start. Last but equally important was Susie, the nurse practitioner. Compared with the many procedures I have had before, I cannot express how pleasant the entire experience was. She was knowledgeable and approachable and carefully addressed all my concerns based on my past experiences. She did not rush and ensured I was as comfortable as possible during an uncomfortable procedure. She made sure I understood everything I needed to know. Her kind, welcoming manner also made today’s experience much easier. Thank you all so much. Dr. Plosker and his team are absolutely the best choice for me. I hope this review helps other patients like me.

This review is true. I posted it to tell people about my real experience, but you tried to convince me to change it so I could be seen at another clinic. I was going to do that and deleted some other reviews about my actual experience, only to realize you had all lied. I only wanted those reviews removed. Part Three—My review remains true, and I have posted it on multiple platforms so people can see the full story. Oh my God!!! Are you saying that if I had said nothing, I would simply have run out, and you had not given me proper instructions for taking the medication? You cannot be serious. Before and after my transfer, I repeatedly had to follow up about the next steps in my IVF protocol, which was alarming. When I called the Brandon office for information, the front-desk employee sounded unfriendly and never provided much help. The only things she seemed good at were clocking in and sitting down. She was curt and rude and unwilling to make any extra effort if something was not convenient for her. My husband accompanied me to my last ultrasound. A woman who drew my blood and performed the ultrasound was cold and rude to him. I still do not know her exact role. My husband arrived hopeful as he waited for the results, but she immediately discouraged him. Once again, she showed no concern for the emotions and stress involved in an IVF miracle. He tried to comfort me and say everything would be all right, but she interrupted: 'Well, if the doctor thought nothing was wrong, they would not have asked you to come in this early.' Wow—horrible. That statement speaks for itself. For some reason, she seemed agitated and irritable toward my husband. It made me very uncomfortable, but I did not want to cause more trouble. I had already had enough, and still have. During the ultrasound, my husband was not allowed to record because she said it would 'violate HIPAA.' Whose HIPAA rights would it violate? I do not know, because I consented. I did not want to argue, so I did not mention that I understood HIPAA policy and simply complied. I am still a patient at Shady Grove, but I would rather travel 23 miles out of my way to the Tampa office than 8 miles to the Brandon office. That is how bad it is. I sympathize with every family going through IVF. The last thing you want is rude, insensitive, biased people whose prejudices affect the quality of your care. We ultimately purchased their most expensive plan, and my husband and I were treated much better before signing the agreement. Once we signed, things began to deteriorate. What does that tell you? Some doctors are simply better than others in technique and ability. My last transfer was extremely painful and entirely different from my first. After the catheter entered my uterine cavity, I felt the doctor forcefully reposition it several times. I curled up and screamed in pain. He said he was trying to improve the catheter position, but was the position not appropriate when another doctor successfully performed my first embryo transfer? I believe readers understand my point. I also want to note that my uterus is heart-shaped, which explains its tilt. If Dr. Plosker had reviewed my case, he would have known that. Instead, he mentioned it during the ultrasound as though it surprised him.

Nelida was absolutely amazing throughout the process. We had encountered many insurance problems and could not resolve them until Nelida advocated for us and secured coverage! She truly is the best! I would recommend her to everyone.

Scheduling as a new patient can feel overwhelming. Calling for an appointment, completing new-patient paperwork, and submitting medical records can be stressful. Everyone I contacted was helpful, especially Diane in Patient Services. She went above and beyond to ensure that I received the new-patient paperwork and records.
