Shady Grove Fertility Tampa Bay is proud to partner with University of South Florida board-certified reproductive urologist Jonathan Beilan, M.D. SGF Tampa Bay patients now have more convenient access to comprehensive fertility care addressing male-factor infertility.

Dr. Jonathan Beilan is a fellowship-trained, board-certified urologist practicing at Advanced Urology Institute in Largo, Florida. In 2019, he completed a fellowship in male reproductive medicine and microsurgery with Dr. Lipshultz in Houston, Texas.

Dr. Jonathan Beilan was born and raised in New Port Richey on Florida’s Gulf Coast. He earned his bachelor’s degree in molecular biology and microbiology from the University of Central Florida. In 2009, he was selected for the inaugural class of UCF College of Medicine in Orlando. Dr. Beilan completed his general surgery internship and urology residency at the University of South Florida in Tampa. Under Dr. Carrion’s guidance, he became proficient in complex male prosthetic surgery and the management of Peyronie’s disease. He then completed a clinical fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine in 2018-2019, where he studied the complexities of male fertility treatment and microsurgical procedures such as varicocele repair and vasectomy reversal.

Dr. Beilan now specializes in erectile dysfunction and other sexual health concerns, including Peyronie’s disease and low testosterone, as well as infertility and microsurgical procedures that help men father biological children. With offices in Largo and Palm Harbor, Florida, he serves the greater Tampa Bay community in erectile dysfunction, male fertility, sexual medicine, and men’s health. He is an active member of the AUI/Solaris family and remains committed to patient and trainee education.

In 2022, Dr. Beilan was appointed an Assistant Professor at the USF College of Urology and now hosts USF REI fellows for their male reproductive medicine rotation. He is also a member of the Sexual Medicine Society of North America (SMSNA), American Urological Association (AUA) and its Southeastern Section (SESAUA), American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM), and Society for Male Reproduction and Urology (SMRU).

In his free time, Dr. Beilan enjoys soccer, ultimate Frisbee, traveling, and spending time with his wife, Ashley, and their two children.

    Scheduling as a new patient can feel overwhelming. Calling for an appointment, completing new-patient paperwork, and submitting medical records can be stressful. Everyone I contacted was helpful, especially Diane in Patient Services. She went above and beyond to ensure that I received the new-patient paperwork and records.     I would recommend Shady Groves to everyone! They are very patient and explain every step in detail, helping you better understand fertility and thoroughly reviewing all your options. Katherine provided excellent service, completed all the testing, and explained every necessary step. She was always available by phone or message. Dr. Plosker genuinely cares about how everyone feels and breaks down every aspect of care so it is easier to understand.     Nelida was absolutely amazing throughout the process. We had encountered many insurance problems and could not resolve them until Nelida advocated for us and secured coverage! She truly is the best! I would recommend her to everyone.

    This review is true. I posted it to tell people about my real experience, but you tried to convince me to change it so I could be seen at another clinic. I was going to do that and deleted some other reviews about my actual experience, only to realize you had all lied. I only wanted those reviews removed. Part Three—My review remains true, and I have posted it on multiple platforms so people can see the full story. Oh my God!!! Are you saying that if I had said nothing, I would simply have run out, and you had not given me proper instructions for taking the medication? You cannot be serious. Before and after my transfer, I repeatedly had to follow up about the next steps in my IVF protocol, which was alarming. When I called the Brandon office for information, the front-desk employee sounded unfriendly and never provided much help. The only things she seemed good at were clocking in and sitting down. She was curt and rude and unwilling to make any extra effort if something was not convenient for her. My husband accompanied me to my last ultrasound. A woman who drew my blood and performed the ultrasound was cold and rude to him. I still do not know her exact role. My husband arrived hopeful as he waited for the results, but she immediately discouraged him. Once again, she showed no concern for the emotions and stress involved in an IVF miracle. He tried to comfort me and say everything would be all right, but she interrupted: 'Well, if the doctor thought nothing was wrong, they would not have asked you to come in this early.' Wow—horrible. That statement speaks for itself. For some reason, she seemed agitated and irritable toward my husband. It made me very uncomfortable, but I did not want to cause more trouble. I had already had enough, and still have. During the ultrasound, my husband was not allowed to record because she said it would 'violate HIPAA.' Whose HIPAA rights would it violate? I do not know, because I consented. I did not want to argue, so I did not mention that I understood HIPAA policy and simply complied. I am still a patient at Shady Grove, but I would rather travel 23 miles out of my way to the Tampa office than 8 miles to the Brandon office. That is how bad it is. I sympathize with every family going through IVF. The last thing you want is rude, insensitive, biased people whose prejudices affect the quality of your care. We ultimately purchased their most expensive plan, and my husband and I were treated much better before signing the agreement. Once we signed, things began to deteriorate. What does that tell you? Some doctors are simply better than others in technique and ability. My last transfer was extremely painful and entirely different from my first. After the catheter entered my uterine cavity, I felt the doctor forcefully reposition it several times. I curled up and screamed in pain. He said he was trying to improve the catheter position, but was the position not appropriate when another doctor successfully performed my first embryo transfer? I believe readers understand my point. I also want to note that my uterus is heart-shaped, which explains its tilt. If Dr. Plosker had reviewed my case, he would have known that. Instead, he mentioned it during the ultrasound as though it surprised him.

    I highly recommend Shady Grove Fertility in Brandon. Dr. Shayne Plosker is outstanding: he explains everything thoroughly, answers questions patiently, and offers compassionate guidance. His professionalism and knowledge gave me confidence throughout treatment. The nurses are also excellent—always kind, attentive, and helpful. Their warmth and care make every visit easier. From the front desk to the medical team, everyone treats you with respect and genuinely cares.     Diane at the front desk was extremely professional! I was comparing fertility clinics and stopped by to see this one.     I rarely visit the Brandon office because it is far from me. I have had many ultrasounds, saline sonograms, and similar procedures. Anyone who is undergoing or has undergone them knows how uncomfortable pelvic exams can be. I have had very bad experiences before that were somewhat traumatic. Today, however, was completely different. From the moment I reached the front desk, Diane was friendly and helpful and made me feel very comfortable. I also saw Dennels, whom I often saw at another Shady Grove location. Her warmth, bright smile, and attentive care at every visit gave my day a wonderful start. Last but equally important was Susie, the nurse practitioner. Compared with the many procedures I have had before, I cannot express how pleasant the entire experience was. She was knowledgeable and approachable and carefully addressed all my concerns based on my past experiences. She did not rush and ensured I was as comfortable as possible during an uncomfortable procedure. She made sure I understood everything I needed to know. Her kind, welcoming manner also made today’s experience much easier. Thank you all so much. Dr. Plosker and his team are absolutely the best choice for me.     I am sitting in my car after my first appointment at Shady Grove in Brandon. It was an excellent experience. Dennelle was very friendly and drew my blood on the first try, which is usually difficult for me! Susie was wonderful. She was very gentle, and I never felt rushed. The clinic was also clean.

    Great facility, but patients should research their own financial responsibility. Before my appointment, I received a call saying I would only need to pay a $60 copay. I later received a bill for more than $1000, and insurance covered none of the procedure costs. I wish they had told me in advance, but they said I would only owe a $60 copay. Update October 14, 2025: I sent an email, but the issue remains unresolved. I received one reply and then heard nothing further.

    I called the Brandon office with questions about semen analysis. The receptionist's attitude made me feel that my questions were foolish. I wish the person answering the phone had shown more understanding toward someone like me who is just beginning to learn about the process.

    I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Plosker and his outstanding nurse, Nicole. Under their care, I successfully completed 2 egg-freezing cycles. From day one, they made me feel confident, supported, and completely at ease. I am at an age when fertility can feel frightening and even overwhelming, but they made the entire process easy. Dr. Plosker performed my first procedure, and everything went very smoothly. He is calm, professional, and exceptionally thorough. He is the kind of doctor who makes you feel safe and genuinely heard. His expertise and compassion are unmatched. Nicole was the heart of the experience. She has everything you could hope for in a nurse: warmth, encouragement, and incredible responsiveness. She guided me through every step with great patience and empathy, answered countless questions, proactively checked in, and made a complicated medical process feel personal and even uplifting. She genuinely cares about her patients, and it shows in every interaction. It had been a long time since I received such high-quality, personalized medical care.     The Brandon clinic is amazing! I had an excellent experience here. Susie is wonderful with patients. She explains everything she does in detail and always takes the time to educate patients. She is also very kind! Everyone I encountered at the clinic was wonderful. Trying to conceive is difficult enough, so it is especially valuable when a clinic helps reduce the stress.

    Our experience at this clinic was disappointing. Although the staff were always kind and polite, the level of disorganization was concerning, especially for a fertility clinic where timing is critical. Almost every appointment involved a scheduling issue or miscommunication. Most frustratingly, my hysteroscopy/hysterosalpingogram (HSG) was rescheduled one hour before my planned arrival because we had not received the necessary pre-procedure instructions. This was stressful and entirely avoidable. There were also problems with lab orders. Some tests discussed and agreed upon during appointments were omitted, and we only learned at our final meeting with the doctor that they had never been performed. In fertility care, missed tests and scheduling problems can significantly affect an already sensitive process. Our nurse Ashley was kind and apologized when issues arose. However, the repeated mistakes and poor communication made it difficult to trust the clinic's overall coordination of care. Despite this, we are very grateful that the process gave us answers about two medical findings that may help explain my history of miscarriage. We will always appreciate that.

    My experience so far? 1. They violated my HIPAA rights. They have admitted this. 2. They canceled my partner's testing appointments twice, both times on the day of the appointment. She is a federal employee with very limited time off. So far, the money is gone and nothing has been accomplished. I will update my review if the organization changes. For now, it has been an enormous headache.

    My wife and I have had a great experience so far with this clinic. We were able to get answers on why we’ve had trouble conceiving which is really reassuring. Everyone has truly been awesome! Diane is always great at the front. Ashley breezed us through testing and was always available to answer our questions. Susie was beyond amazing and gentle with my wife. Cecilia always has a smile on her face. Jordan has been fantastic as my nurse and Dr. Plosker has been phenomenal. You can tell he really cares for his patients.     I truly cannot express how grateful I am for this clinic. From start to finish, everyone made me feel welcome, supported, and cared for. Diane and Krista at the front desk were wonderful—kind, patient, and positive. Medical assistant Cecilia was warm and attentive and made sure I was fully prepared before my appointment. My primary care consultant, Ashley, was exceptional. I was nervous during the procedure, but she made me feel very relaxed. After every visit, she checked on me, made sure I was doing well, and patiently answered all my questions. You can tell she genuinely cares about her patients, which means so much. Nurse practitioner Susie was also excellent. She put me at ease, listened carefully to my concerns, and was thoroughly prepared. She patiently explained every step clearly and ensured I remained comfortable throughout. Her empathy was remarkable. My nurse, Jordan, was attentive and gentle throughout the process and made me feel reassured. I greatly appreciate her support.     When it comes to fertility treatments it can be scary and overwhelming. There are so many moving parts and it’s important to have a team that you can trust and rely on. Luckily for my husband and I we found just that at Shady Grove Fertility. Dr. Plosker is extremely knowledgeable and walked us through our options while giving us his professional advice on which path would be best for us. We definitely felt more at ease after meeting with him. Our nurse coordinator Nicole was phenomenal!     I had a very positive experience at SGF in St. Petersburg. The office is smaller, so everything usually runs smoothly and on time without a wait. The best part is the team, especially Courtney. She is extremely kind, positive, and welcoming. At every follow-up visit—and there were many—she took the time to explain everything in detail and always reassured me that everything was fine. I arrived nervous and left hopeful and positive, entirely because of her.

    Going through this can be nerve-racking and frightening. Everyone experiences infertility differently, and Shady Grove St. Petersburg made me feel that my unique experience mattered.     I arrived at this clinic carrying more emotional baggage than an overstuffed suitcase. I had concerns and convictions about IVF and honestly expected to be judged or forced into a standard protocol. That was completely wrong. Over the years, I may have become Dr. Sprague's biggest fan, and I am not easily impressed. She is brilliant and compassionate and worked tirelessly to create the treatment plan that best suited me, even when it required an approach she might never otherwise have devised. After my miscarriage earlier this year, Dr. Sprague cared for me not only medically but as a person. I am sure she checked on me during her commute home. I do not know whether she ever rests, but she is always compassionate. My nurse manager, Amber, is phenomenal. I never feel rushed on calls with her. She answers every one of my countless questions, talks me through difficult parts of treatment, and genuinely celebrates with me. I joke that I hope to meet her in person one day because, for now, she is the best phone friend I never knew I needed. She embodies the same kindness and thoughtfulness as Dr. Sprague. Then there is Ann, the financial counselor. Fertility care is expensive, and billing can sometimes be harder to navigate than the hormones. Getting answers from my first counselor was extremely difficult, but Ann is a superstar. She recently resolved numerous billing issues just before the deadline for my next cycle and still cleared everything on time. She answers calls, calls back, and follows through—rare customer service today. Courtney and Draco also deserve recognition. Courtney performs most of my ultrasounds and feels more like a friend than a technician. She is calming and makes an awkward, stressful process feel completely normal. Draco is a master at blood draws: quick, gentle, and reliable every time. I may not have had success yet, but I have never felt like a dollar sign here. I feel like a person with a team behind me, whatever happens. If you want a clinic with intelligence, compassion, and humor, choose Dr. Sprague and her team.

    The care team was wonderful and took excellent care of me and my infertility concerns. They patiently answered every question. My nurse coordinator, Amber Graham, was outstanding throughout the process, answering calls attentively and addressing every question patiently and respectfully. Cortney White, APRN, explained everything clearly during my scans and guided me through these weeks of pregnancy. Dr. Sprague and her team are excellent, and I highly recommend them.

    From the beginning, Dr. Sprague was welcoming and genuinely considerate. She makes you feel valued and cared for at every stage of treatment. My coordinator Katherine was wonderful; she was organized and helpful and made the entire process easy to navigate. The team is exceptional. Draco is outstanding at drawing blood and makes the process as comfortable as possible. Jacque at the front desk greets you warmly with a smile from the moment you enter. Overall, they provided not only exceptional care but also empathy and understanding that made the treatment experience different. I cannot praise this team enough and would recommend them to everyone!

    At the beginning of treatment, I was assigned a financial counselor whom I did not like. I later switched to Ann McKnight, and she was wonderful!! She gave me tremendous help, as did Cortney White. She is truly an angel!! I was excited every time I saw her. She always answered my questions with warmth. The two of them made this difficult IVF process easier.

    I have been coming to this clinic for several months after a referral from Women's Care. Katherine and Dr. Sprague are both wonderful! The past few months have brought a lot of anxiety and challenges for my boyfriend and me. Everyone I have met in St. Petersburg and Tampa has been reassuring, helpful, and caring, making everything much easier when we need support most. Katherine truly cares about my situation and goes above and beyond to help me, which I love!     I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Sprague and her team, especially my wonderful nurse Raven. I firmly believe Dr. Sprague is the best. She is brilliant, kind, experienced, and compassionate, and she and Raven make an exceptional team. I felt completely safe in their care. What stands out most was a surprise visit from Dr. Sprague during a routine follicle check before retrieval. She immediately put me at ease and patiently answered every question. I had been worried that she might not be there for the retrieval, but she assured me I would receive excellent care regardless of who performed it. She was absolutely right 🥹. I could not have found a better doctor. Her team is truly outstanding. My very selective husband and I researched extensively before choosing Shady Grove, and we chose it because of Dr. Sprague. We have no regrets. Dr. Sprague made our dream possible. She is brilliant and knows her work inside and out! As I prepare for my first transfer, I feel reassured knowing she is directing my care. Raven is also amazing; she patiently takes all my anxious calls and listens to my concerns. She is a treasure, and hearing her calm voice stop me from overthinking is always comforting 😆 We now have seven beautiful embryos and feel incredibly fortunate to have reached this point.     My wife and I had a wonderful experience at Shady Grove Fertility and cannot say enough good things about the entire team. From the beginning, Dr. Sprague took the time to develop our treatment plan carefully and stayed in close communication throughout the process.     My husband and I joined the infertility community last year after my OB-GYN diagnosed me with endometriosis and referred us to Shady Grove. Our experience so far has been excellent. Although this is not a journey we wanted to face, the Shady Grove team has made it as easy as possible.     Everyone I met at SGF-St Pete was helpful, kind, and compassionate. Dr. Sprague was very knowledgeable and explained IVF clearly to a newcomer like me. She understood my needs and tried to accommodate my request for a modified natural cycle. Together with my nurse Katie, she ensured I understood every step and felt as comfortable as possible.     Overall a really great experience with everyone in the St Pete/Tampa offices. Dr. Sprague was great to work with. We absolutely love the nurse Cortney - she always gave really great explanations, answered our questions with kindness and empathy during the rollercoaster that is IVF. Draco is amazingly talented at drawing blood without any pain (and you get a LOT of blood drawn) One star off because the central billing department is not helpful at all. I received a random bill after ‘graduating’ and called them to see what it was and they told me I didn’t owe anything. Then, a few months later I got a different bill for my last transfer and it had never been submitted through my insurance. I called central billing several times and they just said they’d ’look into it’ with no details and I kept getting bills for months. Nelida, our original financial coordinator, was a rockstar getting this fixed for us.

    My husband and I recently visited this clinic for what we expected to be a routine initial consultation. Unfortunately, our experience left us with concerns about transparency and patient communication. During our appointment, neither the physician nor the consultant clearly explained the examinations, testing process, or overall treatment timeline. We were shown a picture on one slide, our insurance coverage was briefly reviewed, and we were provided information about supplements. However, when we asked for more details about what to expect, we were repeatedly directed to the patient portal rather than receiving explanations during the appointment. In particular, when I asked the consultant to walk us through the timeline and procedures, the response was essentially to “check the portal.” At one point, I was even asked whether I had already asked the doctor. This felt dismissive and did not create confidence that our questions were being taken seriously. For patients who value clear communication, transparency about their care, and a more traditional bedside manner, it may be worth considering other clinics. While this approach may work for some patients, we left feeling that important information should have been discussed directly rather than requiring us to search for answers afterward.

    If you are a woman over 40, I do not recommend Dr. Celso Silva. Both of our IVF egg retrievals with him failed, and aside from the results, his treatment plans and feedback were generic at best. Since changing clinics, we have learned about various techniques and adjunct medications that might have improved our past outcomes and hopefully will help in the future. It is far too expensive to feel that your doctor does not have your best interests at heart. We were also denied a female doctor at the clinic after feeling that Dr. Silva might not be the right fit for us. The front desk and nursing staff were excellent.

    I still have a long journey ahead, but so far it has been a pleasure working with Dr. Silva and my patient care coordinator, Raffaella. Raffaella makes sure to stay in touch, informs me of upcoming appointments, and lets me know as soon as results and next steps are available. I am glad I switched to Shady Grove because at my previous clinic I always had to call for updates, and they were consistently slow to respond.

    I spoke with Ann in the finance department, and she clearly explained the treatment costs and answered all my questions. At my first visit I also met Dr. Imudia, who reassured me that despite my “unexplained infertility,” treatment was possible and he would be with us throughout the process.     Extremely satisfied with this facility, they gave us our now 1 year old daughter (after 2 failed attempts in another center and 1 failed attempt here) and now my wife is pregnant with our to be second baby.     Part#2 We were planning on going to a completely different office, which was an hour away (St. Pete or Wesley Chapel) with different people/ same company. But the doctor of the office that we originally went to ( Dr. Plosker) was so distraught, that he wanted to make sure that we would be unable to see anyone at their practice ever again. I took a deep breath and sighed, while I was on the phone with Dr. Klokker. I explained to him and reminded him of the incident day (transfer day), very vividly in detail of what took place. I explained to him how my embryologist initially failed me by not following their own protocols. How the original plan was altered and sent me on an emotional roller coaster with tons of questions that were never answered by staff or him. How the embryologist failed to show me how she was able to thaw an embryo in 30 minutes after she told me it was impossible and then had the audacity to be upset with me, because I made a review. I explained to him (Dr. Plosker) that his office has many counterparts and that working together is essential. This is the way I addressed his insinuation of me being a liar. I thought to myself he wasn’t even in the procedure room or in the office that day. I was his patient with a concern. He never followed up or addressed my concerns, but only called me a liar. Heartbreaking. Now we are being punished and not allowed to go to any office anywhere with Shady Grove Fertility. He worked together with their offices to silence my voice, my questions and concerns as though it never happened. Today, for us, there is no accountability at Shady Grove. They may not hear your complaints, depending on what they are. If any problems arise, it just might be swept under the rug. If any mistakes are made, they might be covered up. If you complain, you might become the villain. I pray that whoever goes to this company is aware of the Brandon office. It’s sad we had to find this out the hard way in our journey. Managing the financial aspects of fertility treatment can feel overwhelming and stressful, but from the beginning she made the entire process clear and manageable.     We had success at Shady Grove several years ago and have now returned. Nelida is an excellent financial counselor—kind, knowledgeable, and responsive. When she discovered an insurance problem, she was determined to solve it that day and spent nearly the entire afternoon resolving everything. I am very grateful.     I began my IVF journey in 2001. Although my previous fertility clinic experience was fairly good, coming to Shady Grove felt like a complete turnaround. From the moment you enter, you receive a warm welcome. Ana, Kayla, and Alta at the front desk are always friendly and happy to answer questions. The phlebotomy team is excellent. Denelle's positivity, efficiency, and warm smile brighten the process. The ultrasound technician was equally wonderful—I have forgotten whether her name was Lindsey or Leslie—and made every visit smooth and reassuring. The doctors are compassionate and attentive, and I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Silva. He was wonderful throughout and made me feel carefully supported at every step. My IVF nurse, Samantha, was also a lifesaver, and her ongoing communication and support benefited me tremendously. Although my previous clinic experience was acceptable, starting again at Shady Grove brought me the comfort and calm I needed. If you are considering beginning IVF or simply want a fresh start, this clinic will not disappoint. The entire team goes above and beyond to make a difficult process feel hopeful, and I am grateful to be in their care.

    I have been coming here for a little over 3years shady grove is family! I find joy walking through those double doors to see Ana, Alta, and Kayla! They are the best front desk receptionist hands down. They should get a raise! No seriously like a rause or some recognition They always are smiling and joyful and easy to communicate with. I wish they had twins that worked at other facilities that would be amazing to have them at all my appointments. I also love how courteous the MA team is Ingrid , kat, Terri, Auri and Dennelle and others are quick and painless they should all get a raise too!     My husband and I chose SGF, and we are very satisfied. Dr. Silva is amazing. She is knowledgeable, warm, friendly, and compassionate. The entire team is very kind. I recommend them 100%, and if we decide to have another child, we will definitely return! Our only complaint is that we did not like the “team care” model. Communication was sometimes poor, and we had to call several times to reach someone. We would have preferred to have one assigned nurse. Overall, we had an excellent experience! Thank you, SGF!

    It took me a long time to write this review because I needed time to reflect on how poorly this clinic managed my care. I contacted Dr. Sprague in March 2024 for an April consultation. A week before the appointment, the office called to reschedule and said, ‘We are not sure how you were booked that day, but it is not a day we see patients.’ My appointment was moved to May. The doctor was kind, I brought all my gynecologic test results, we discussed a plan, and testing/procedures began the next month. Before I reached the nursing team, Ashley, whom I recall was a secretary, handled my scheduling. Every month brought miscommunication or errors. When I called to arrange the next step, Ashley said some labs were missing. I explained that the office had drawn a great deal of blood and that Shady Grove had ordered the tests, but she said their office did not perform the xyz tests. Every month, either my husband or I was missing a step that clear communication and correct instructions could easily have prevented. By October, everything was finally ready to begin IUI. They had ordered and shipped my medication. When it was time to proceed, I called again and learned that my thyroid labs, despite my being on medication, had not been rechecked since May. We spent November, December, and January managing my thyroid-stimulating hormone (TSH) instead of continuing treatment. I was furious; the level of care was nonexistent. In your 30s, time is critical. This clinic wasted 10 valuable months mishandling medical orders. I do not know whether Ashley was incompetent or the whole system failed, but this team did not make an already stressful process easier. After two failed IUIs, we received no explanation and were told to try two more—as uninsured patients. I discussed the laboratory errors, major delays, and my frustration with the care team. They showed no compassion, making it seem routine. I hope the clinic changes how it operates and cares for patients. We switched providers and are doing much better. People living through infertility deserve better than being treated as a number, especially at such high cost. Our experience was troubled from the start and ended with no progress, no real answers, and more than 10 precious months wasted.

    This journey was not easy, but I am deeply grateful for the team's efforts! After discovering that my first transfer resulted in an ectopic pregnancy, I transferred to the care of Dr. Silva and his wonderful nurse Samantha. Their care was absolutely first-rate! My previous experience with other teams did not come close to the compassion, help, and information they provided. Samantha made me feel that I was not alone and that no question was unwelcome. I successfully completed two egg-freezing cycles and felt supported, informed, and genuinely cared for from start to finish. Dr. Plosker is wonderful! He is calm, knowledgeable, and approachable. He patiently guided me through the entire process, helping me feel confident and secure in my decisions. His nurse Nicole was equally outstanding. She patiently answered all my questions and responded quickly, making an otherwise overwhelming process much easier. On procedure day, I was surrounded by an excellent team who made me feel completely at ease. Many thanks to Katie (preoperative/postoperative), John (anesthesiologist), Olivia (operating room), Melissa (operating room), Chrissy (supervisor), and Ana (secretary). Everyone was professional, attentive, and positive, creating a very encouraging atmosphere. Dr. Sarkar was also outstanding during the procedure, and I felt very safe in her care. Special thanks as well to Ana at the front desk, who was always so welcoming. Her kindness set the tone from the moment you entered.     In the end, we found out why it's called "Shady" grove!. I give it two stars only because they have some great support staff, however, overall the feeling we ended up with was we were a number and we needed to fit into their program and protocols, we were never looked at as an individual case. When we started asking a lot of questions agree some attempts, we got the cold shoulder. Asked to switch doctors and get a 2nd opinion in their office. They had 2 very different approaches and didn't agree with things that were being done. When we decided to switch somewhere else, they gave us an unbelievably hard time receiving our records and eventually tried everything to block our embryo storage move. We were successful on 1st attempt elsewhere, with not as an aggressive protocol. Additionally, pay very close attention to their billing, they continually overcharged, even when asking for a review. Almost a year after leaving, we received back about 5k in overcharged. SHADY Grove

    I am preparing for my first egg retrieval and transfer! My experience at the Tampa office has been excellent. I was so excited to see the doctor today at my stimulation day 9 follow-up. Dr. Mathyk was very warm and approachable. She patiently explained the entire process, answered all my questions enthusiastically, and listened carefully to my concerns, which greatly reassured me. I was running low on needles for some medications, and Nurse Ingrid and her team made sure I received everything I needed, plus extras.     I had an excellent experience at SGF. The waiting area and restrooms were always clean and comfortable. Dr. Mathyk was professional, knowledgeable, and kind.     Dr. Torrealday is the best doctor I have ever worked with! My oncologist referred me to SGF because I needed chemotherapy and wanted to try freezing my eggs beforehand due to the possible loss of fertility. The clinic staff were incredibly thoughtful. They scheduled me for the next morning, and everyone worked late that day to set up my account and prepare me to begin injections the following day. I needed retrieval quickly, so Dr. Torrealday used a random-start protocol that does not depend on the menstrual cycle and takes only 10–14 days. It is no exaggeration to say that the entire clinic went above and beyond. Every department worked tirelessly to help me, calling repeatedly, dealing with insurance, ordering medication, and more. I have never encountered a medical team as caring and dedicated as Shady Grove. Dr. Torrealday is a treasure in medicine. She is the kindest and most thoughtful doctor, and words cannot express my gratitude. She personally called almost every day to check on me, which I had never experienced. One Saturday, a nurse called with an update that worried me. Dr. Torrealday then called me from her personal phone on her evening off, even though she was not on call, to check on me, explain everything, and reassure me. I never imagined a doctor would offer this level of care or call on a day off simply because she heard I was upset. Anyone who comes here will have an excellent experience. They are truly thoughtful and care deeply about patients. I would give them a hundred stars if I could. Dr. Torrealday can change your life for the better. She retrieved far more eggs than I expected, accurately adjusted my medication dose each day, and timed the retrieval perfectly. I could not be happier. Thank you, Dr. Torrealday and team!

    When you are going through such a difficult time, you want a clinic that will support you through it. The team at the Tampa West Coast clinic does exactly that!     If negative online reviews have made you anxious about an hysterosalpingogram (HSG), please read my review. I felt the same way and was so anxious that I was afraid to go to the clinic, but my experience at SGF today was excellent. I do not want to dismiss anyone else's experience, because every person and situation is different. Still, when you see many negative reviews, it is important to hear a positive one too. My team was wonderful. They explained and guided me through each step and continually asked whether I had questions. After the speculum and catheter were inserted and the fluid was injected, I did not even realize the procedure had begun. I felt only mild cramping, and the whole process was honestly very easy. My saline ultrasound and follicle count were equally easy—thank you, Leslie! I had no blockage, which may be one reason my discomfort was minimal. Overall, I felt fully cared for and supported throughout. Special thanks to Diana, Quiara, and Cortney! You made me feel comfortable, safe, and relaxed!

    We wholeheartedly recommend Shady Grove. From explaining their processes, procedures, and expectations in advance and connecting us with our assigned patient coordinator to our first appointment with Dr. Imudia, we knew we were in good hands. Seven years ago, we thought we would be able to grow our family, but it never happened. We did not seriously investigate the issue until the past year and a half, when we knew we would regret not trying. My obstetric evaluation was normal, and as a first step, Dr. Imudia recommended a urologist to work closely with my husband. The urologist prescribed the right medications to enable my husband to produce sperm. After 9 months of medication—a combination of HCG, Clomid, and an estrogen blocker—we were fortunate to receive a positive pregnancy test, and we are now expecting our son in November! Jessica Poole was our patient coordinator and contacted us monthly. She helped answer every question along the way and, most importantly, respected our decision to postpone further testing for me until we had more answers about my husband. We are deeply grateful to both of them and especially to Dr. Imudia for putting us on the right path and recommending an excellent urologist for my husband. None of this would have been possible without his help. Our only regret is not going to Shady Grove sooner. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

    I’ve had a very positive experience with Shady Grove Fertility. The staff is always pleasant and accommodating, and they are flexible with scheduling, which makes a big difference during what can be a stressful process. The team at the Wesley Chapel location is especially wonderful. Stephanie at the front desk greets patients with such a positive attitude, and Olga is by far the best blood draw tech I’ve encountered, she makes the process quick and comfortable. Christine, the APRN, is both efficient and extremely knowledgeable, and Dr. Imudia is incredibly kind and genuinely cares about his patients. I also want to recognize Penny, who was the most thorough nurse I worked with when it came to reviewing lab results and outlining next steps. The only feedback I would share is that it would be helpful if the team took a little more time to explain the why behind each step of the treatment plan. For those new to IVF, understanding the reasoning behind decisions can make the journey feel less overwhelming. Overall, I would highly recommend SGF to anyone considering fertility treatment. For those under 35, their shared risk program is an especially great option

    Keep all your receipts. They may charge you incorrectly, misallocate your payment, and then send a bill for something you already paid. Even with receipts, resolving the issue can take months. You will be passed around without a resolution, adding unnecessary stress while you are undergoing IVF. The financial problems made the process ten times harder than it should have been—not because we had difficulty paying, but because we paid for every service before treatment began after they repeatedly pressured us to pay, and then they acted as though the bill was valid despite having demanded advance payment.

We drove an hour and took a day off work. We had finally begun to feel hopeful about meeting a professional and creating a fertility plan, only to leave disappointed. My wife was devastated.     Can't say enough about the staff at Shady Grove Fertility in Wesley Chapel! From the start of my journey, being a first timer and being so nervous the whole team has been extremely helpful and understanding to my family building situation. Jessica Poole is so amazing, she always keeps me up to date with our progress, appointments, bloodwork, ultrasound, you name it. She has such an amazing spirit, her care, her demeanor, it just puts you at ease on an already difficult journey. Dr. Imudia is a great doctor, you can tell from the first meeting he is there to listen to you and make sure your needs are met. We have a long journey to go to have our first baby but I am grateful that our care is in the hands of Dr. Imudia. He is well spoken, intelligent and straight forward with the process. No lies, no guesswork, just factual information and treatment. He is there to gather all the information he can to help you on your journey, and you can see the passion in his eyes when he talks about the ivf process. If I had known they would make me and my husband feel so at ease with the process I would have started sooner lol but I am still thankful to be on our journey now. With so many different offices out there, you want to make sure you are choosing the right location with doctors and nurses giving you the best quality of care. So if you are having any second thoughts about the quality of care at the office, or the treatment you will receive, I am here to tell you they are well worth the visit. Front desk employees are amazing as well! So don't second guess yourself, if you want quality care and to be treated with empathy and compassion Shady Grove Fertility Wesley Chapel is the place you will get it :-)
